EvA Footwear : EvA Angelina black

Someone dropped in on us at Bitch Goddess a while back with the Cheeky Paws version of the Angelina boots by EvA Footwear.

After chuckling at the fun texture, I recognized a very elegant boot design.

It was a pleasant surprise to visit the store and find that Van Stantz is Evangeline Eames's slave and designer - Eva is our new friend from the FEMDOM Magazine and quite a busy person :)

The EvA Angelina is available in different sets : black (includes red, purple, blue and green), gold (includes lighter tints) and silver (with very pale tints). Each comes with 7 sole colors and 21 sole trims. It's like buying a wardrobe! The colors are controlled with a simple menu.

Cheeky Paws, like the other semi-demo versions of the Angelina (with fun textures), are inexpensive but not quite free.

If you drop by the store in the Dominion's shopping district, you may want to have a peek at a stack of freebies hidden as a reward for having a thorough look around.

It's 35m behind you when you face EvA's store, just in back of the "fab pony" store (which sells clothes that may be fab but are not pony).

Looking for a pair of good looking leather knee high boots? Look no further.

The Angelina boots have a simple look, but manage to look very real.

The stitching at the top is an nice detail, as are the folds at the ankle.

The heel is straight forward but looks very comfortable without being chunky.

Still a great boot, just add jeans and a leather jacket and you have a great outfit, now where did i put that Harley.

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Red Dawn

There's no such thing as too much red in your wardrobe. Valentine's day has come and gone, but this great little outfit has bright red and body lube shine to keep the mood going.

The short sleeves and peek-a-boo neckline give a summer feel. The open back gives something even more chilly than that ;)

A lovely new little outfit from Kayliwulf.

On a less happy note, we'll be closing our club, as the sim will be sold. Big thanks to Kailani Ling for taking a chance... not all projects succeed on the first try. Thanks to all our visitors, and to all our good friends who supported us.

With Red Dawn you get a new version of the 10" latex stiletto boots, this time a buckle version, a body lube catsuit and the spanking dress 2.

This outfit as a fun contrast between the dress and the boots, the boots have an open front and the dress has an open rear.

Both are held together by little buckles, with the lowest on back being a nice little prim.

The dress has a cut out in front and for once it doesn't show any nipples. *winks*

The really great thing of this outfit is the body lube giving you a nice shine all over.

Bax Coen Design - Ankle boots Pink Patent

New release of the Bax ankle boots, in baby pink, hot pink, and purple. If you had a special Valentine outfit that was just missing a spot of color, this may be just what you needed.

Bax pointed out a new development in the boot scripts, which forces the foot straight when using badly-designed poses - the "without" and "with" pictures speak for themselves.

This feature is activated by default. If you ever need to turn it off, it's in Walks/Feet menu : Feet Free to turn off, Fix Feet to turn it back on.

Still love these boots, and the new fixed foot features is great, no more broken ankles. *winks*

Next to this another great tip from Bax, there is a nice little trick to hide the shadow of your shoes.

Just enter the advanced-rendering-features menu and uncheck the foot shadow. (if you don't have the advanced menu, just hit ctrl-alt-Deirdre)

And hé presto all foot shadows are gone *smiles*.

So next to some great pink boots, which i know every barbie doll out there will have to own, two great improvements for all boot lovers out there.

Bax Coen Design - Ankle Boots Red Suede

I asked Bax if she had anything new and interesting in her catalog.. turns out she did.

Here are her improved red suede ankle boots. The texture is very, very good : if you look closely, you get the feeling that those boots are actually velvety soft.. well, like suede.

They come in four stunning colors : Fire (pictured), Dark Blood, Burgundy, and Rust. You select the boot color in the menu by clicking Colors and Main.

I also got a sneak peek at new upcoming colors, and got permission to tell you about them in advance.

Think Valentine's Day.. pink! Baby pink, hot pink, and purple. You'll be able to mix and match with latex designers outfits like Pink Eye by Kayliwulf.. by design. Bax is smart.

KaShoez: Seduction

These are amazing boots, but they're special for me for another reason : they're an anniversary gift from lelo. How she finds time to shop for me I'll never know.. thank you, my love.

First thing that will catch your eye is the gorgeous texture on those boots. Amazingly well rendered leather : folds at the knees, reflections.. I love them.

The boots are sculpted prims, and they are mod and copy. I wanted to take those pics immediately, but I'll be making a safety copy and resizing them to fit my legs - out of the box the fit is decent enough. You'll need to adjust the position a bit, but with a good pose stand, it's not hard. (Cipher's pose stand is amazing for this kind of thing, by the way.)

Extremely low price, I'd call them a loss leader if I knew more about her business. It's certainly going to put Kashoez on the map in a hurry.

The heel is good. Lower than some, but variety is good. If everyone made five inch stilettos, we might get bored.. nah ;)

A menu let's you change colors and control sexy walk, heel click and volume. There are two different blacks, one more black-blue as if from cool lighting; also blue, violet, pink and red.. pretty wild.

Deal of the century, get them while they are hot.

Simple heel, with a nice height, good sized prims and some good scripting.

But the two things that really make these boots are the texture and the price. At such low price, with this quality, she is almost giving them away.

There is one problem, the store is located on the last sim run on a Commodore 64, so take your time and lunch when you want to get them.

Still it's worth the trouble, to sum it all up in one word.. "WOW" *smiles*

The Drawmachine : Evening Star

Where to begin? First of all, Armin Wiefel is a genius, ok? A moment, I'll explain ;)

This outfit is gorgeous, it caught my eye the moment I walked in the Drawmachine store. I hadn't visited in a while... my mistake, it seems.

So I get the outfit, and open it... and items pour in my inventory for half an hour! Seriously, not counting one landmark and three notecards, there are THIRTY-SEVEN parts to this outfit.

The boots come in a big and small size, and have fur-top and non fur-top versions. There are three different pairs of stockings, two belts... even fur at the top of the dress comes in a C cup and E cup. Okay, that name is misleading, cause I'm wearing the E, but you get the idea.

The dress is gorgeous, and has a prim part to make a good skirt shape. There are FIVE prim parts, in different sizes. It took me thirty seconds to find the one that fit me and position it as I liked.

The belt is perfect. I love belts, but they don't love me back.. this is the first one I find that fits me well.

Those wonderful Drawmachine leather boots.. that's how I first discovered Armin's store, I saw a girl wearing them. The best leather look I've seen on boots in SL, and the fur tops are a great winter touch.

Evening Star comes in several colors : purple, red, light blue, orange and black.

It is an absolute steal at the price. I haven't gotten this enthusiastic about new clothes recently.. drop by and tell him Deirdre sent you!

I always loved the look of these boots, and now they come with the perfect outfit.

Not the sexiest heel in SL, but good walking boots and the best looking leather look texture in SL.

The dress is very sexy without being slutty, i just love the way Mistress looks in it, really makes her lovely shoulders and neck stand out.

I wonder if Armin could make a leather catsuit with the texture he used for the boots, that would be a fetish must have.

I'm already looking forward to the next Saturday night dance, with Mistress wearing this outfit.

WarDooM Shoes : Miyu chrome

Another excellent item from WarDoom. If they weren't already there, I'd say someone chain these folks to their machine and make them make boots ;)

Gorgeous texture, really worth a close look. The contrasting straps are eye-catching, the laces and zippers are fun.

If you want to make an entrance at your next fetish party, go get a pair. Tell them who sent you, eh? ;)

If you are looking for a pair of good looking thigh-highs, look no further: presenting the Miyu boots by WarDooM.

They come in a bunch of colors, here you see the chrome, but they also come in black, blue, pink, red and white. So something for each outfit.

Tanja has put quite some work in the lacing, the bows on the back are a true work of art.

They have a slight platform, and good looking heels, the leather belts are a nice touch.

As usual with WarDooM boots the foot and calf are one piece, so no difficult adjustments for the foot/calf, simple but works brilliantly.

The zipper across the front looks good, and i like the way they put the logo on the zipper.

The boot is scripted, and offers 3 options, you can set the shine of the boots, set the sound and hide the heel.

The shine is fun but a high shine hides the texture, the sounds is nice and the hiding the heel doesn't make sense to me, but hé i guess there will be people who will love that option. (please send me a note and tell me why)

All in all a great boot, easy to fit, great look and some nice colors, and best of all they still are quite new so they haven't swamped SL...... yet.

WarDooM : Elfe lack and red

If you want a boot to complement your curves, this one's for you.

The shape of the ankle and calf gives almost a corset effect, emphasized by the prim back lacing.

Very modern heels, fun shape but not quite the classic stiletto.

I guess WarDooM has bound one of Tanja's hands behind her back to get these boots.

Don't get me wrong, they are lovely, but they are almost plain compared to the usual boots she makes, which are covered in spikes, laces and belts.

The heel is a thing of beauty, and the laces on the back have the usual WarDooM quality.

But the thing that really makes these boots special is the fact that the foot and shaft are linked, so no troubles adjusting the shaft to the foot.

As usual they have used a very good looking texture, though you have to really zoom in on the boots, and than you'll also see the nice little hearts on the ankle strap.

A nice extra feature is the option to set the highlight of the boots with a simple menu.

Very nice boots which will work in a non-adult environment just as well as in the fetish scene. Though the heel might be a bit high for daily use.

Armyst : Christmas Boots

Deirdre:
A last fun Christmas-y item for your wardrobe, those red boots with white trim were just too cool to pass up.

Another good use of Armyst's excellent spike heel, with a lovely shaped calf and bright red texture. The little prim pom-poms are just the right touch.

Better hurry if you want a pair, though. Panjomy was telling me she might pull them off the shelf this season.

Here's a fun season inspired boot, great for a Christmas party.

The fitting takes a bit of work but is worth is, mind that the boots are made for small legs, so you might need to adjust your shape.

When we didn't get the boots just right for the pictures, Panjomy came by and gave us very good service.

Armyst : Latex Thigh Length Boots

Deirdre:
Those were some of the first boots I saw in Second Life with a good stiletto heel. And I really mean dagger : you could stab someone with these things and go through and through.

The lacing texture is excellent. It shows up nicely from a distance, not too small, not too big. The reflections on the leather texture are also very good.

Those are not all-prim boots, though. You'll need to either adjust your pant leg length (uneven, but better than nothing) or get an underwear version of your favorite pants (Hey Armin!). On the plus side, they fit any size leg - no fussing with balky calf prim parts.

The heel sound is good, not too loud. You use /stiletto on or /stiletto off, as you like.

Personally, I like to be heard when I make an entrance ;)

As much as i like a pair of nice stiletto heels, these really scare me, who cares about gun control, how about heel control *winks*

There is one downside to the fact that the foot is prim and the shaft is clothes layer, the texture colors don't quite match.

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Mistress Klaus

Staying in the holiday spirit, here's a little Mrs. Santa outfit that seems to come right from this cute little video.

Fun hats to match the outfits are getting to be a tradition at Kayliwulf. The white fur fringe fights with my Sirena hair from some angles, but other than that, it looks good.

Gloves and boots with lovely straps, corset with prim laces at the back, this is quality KK clothing you can wear after the holidays by simply taking off the fuzzy bodice and skirt fringe.

Armidi Gisaci : Kyoto Boots

From a distance, those boots look very good. From up close, they look amazing ;) By that, I mean that the texture is gorgeous, but subtle. You only notice it if you zoom right in.

The shape of the foot, the folds, the heels, the straps... all give the feel of fine (read expensive) Italian leather boots.

You'll want to take a moment to adjust the upper part (lower, rotate, move forward or back to taste). Your reward : awesome fit.

Armidi's beautiful stores cover the entire sim, and look like I imagine a posh Rome shopping neighborhood would.

The landing zone is fixed : you arrive facing Armidi Beauty. The boots are inside the first door behind you, on your left.. walk past the purses and turn right.

Those boots are not cheap, but you get a lot with your purchase : a large and small version - the small actually fits me well - and both of them come with or without "conceal", a thin invisible prim around the upper, for extra tight fit on curvier calves.

Great boots, like Mistress says they have a distinct Italian look, good fashion boots, they miss a real fetish look but are great for a "normal" shopping trip.

Have a look at the sim, no matter how well you dress somehow you feel underdressed there, lovely place just misses a little cafe to enjoy a nice cappuccino.

Red stockings and lingerie, with a fun white fur fringe in strategic spots.

The white laced boots look terrific, the lacing shows up nicely even from a distance.

Bax Coen Design - Ankle boots, patent red

Well they're red, they're gorgeous, and I just had to get lelo a pair. Here's her impressions :

As promised, we would inform you when the red patent version of the ankle boot would be available.

Well here it is in all its shiny redness.

I won't bore you with a copy of the post for the black boots, everything we said there goes for the red ones as well.

I'll tell you some more about the amazing menu and options these boots offer.

The first page gives you volume/sound control, color settings, top options and fitting/help.

The sound control even lets you adjust your step speed too, talking about attention to detail.

The color settings opens more pages of choices, giving you control of the colors for you boots heels, top, tip, laces and eyelets.

With the heels you can color the 4 different prim parts, metal (gold/silver), black, white and shoe main (red) and preset, but you can customize your own color.

Luckily there is a reset button for the colors when you made a real mess of them.

For the top you have an option for fur or lace, and as mentioned before you can color them anyway you like.

Finally there it the fitting and help, the auto fit option re sizes the boot to your current AV height, great option.

The help file comes in English, German, French and Spanish, truly international.

One final word on the menu, with the amount of options it's good that the menu doesn't have a time out, you could lose yourself in it.

Now get your own and start customizing them *smiles*

PS. one thing i missed in the menu's is the option to change the color of the boot itself, there are 3 lovely shades of red.

Fancy Fashion: Alicia ankle boots

As usual, seeing someone wearing boots by Sean Taurog brought me to the store, and I just had to have those ankle boots.

The length is just perfect.. it's so eighties that it begs for big hair, padded shoulders and designer jeans.

The texture is gorgeous. You see great patent or PVC reflections... once you lighten it in Photoshop ;) Seriously, the boots just need to be a touch lighter to be stunning.

The last two pics in this post lightened in Photoshop for demonstration purposes.

(A designer was just telling me recently that textures don't look the same on prims as on simple clothing... This could be an example of the difference.)

The heel click sound is external, which can be good if you still have spots to attach it... I'm running out ;)

Positioning the shaft took a bit of doing.. I found that lowering it a fair bit avoided an unpleasant "ball-joint" effect. (All prim boots share that problem, though.) The seam on the out side of the heel will help you find the intended position.

All that being said, this is a gorgeous boot, and I love it.

The Alicia boots are very nice looking 80's ankle boots.

The prim work on them is very good, especially the belts are very nicely done and look like the real deal. There is just one small thing wrong with them, the buckle is pointing in the wrong direction. The pin should point away from the end of the belt.

The lacing is of a high quality and must have taken quite some time to get right, the high lights on the laces work great.

The heels look good as well, can't remember seeing a reflection on a heel like that, though somehow the arch of the boot seems a bit off.

The invisi prim is just a bit to long which shows by cutting the leg of just a bit above the boot, funny effect...

These boots show great promise, and with some work they could rival the Bax boots.

Minx Shoe Design : Boots, "Badass Babygirl"

Another excellent boot from Minx, Badass Babygirl is a platform knee boot with a skyscraper heel, lacing in front, and amazingly detailed buckled knee and ankle straps.

The heel sounds are controlled via a menu in the right heel, and are extremely convincing. I feel like I'm scuffing the floors everywhere I go when I have the steel heel sound on ;)

It's difficult to tell for sure, but I would guess the heels are 8" high, with a 2" platform. Which makes a killer six-inch heel that you wouldn't wear for any extended period in RL. Isn't Second Life great?

I could wish the boots were mod, I might reduce the calf a little. But it's a minor thing... I love my boots tight.

As I examined my boots for this article, I noticed the boots sink in the ground a bit... just enough to throw off the proportions of the platform when you stand.

If anyone is looking that closely at your boots, though, you should have a seat, relax, and let them kneel in front of you... because they probably want to lick them ;)

I love these boots, they have the highest heels and i *do* love high heels.

The boots have a nice platform, which is just right, not the stripper kind, just an elegant looking platform.

You just have to look at the way the belts around the ankle and just under the knee are buckled to understand that Nikki loves details.

Details like the little lashes to pull the boots up or the laces that move with every step.

I get the name of these boots, they really look badass and i guess being knee high makes them babygirl size.

And finally there is the sound they make, the steel scratching the floor sends shivers down my spine, as you might have noticed i really *do* love heels.

Still a woman wearing these boots sends only one message, "here comes trouble..."

And ohh i love that kind of trouble... *winks*

The Black Boot Club

Founded by Mistress Elly Dagger, the Black Boot Club is a place for boot lovers and boot wearers.

The emphasis is strongly femdom-femsub, but male doms and subs are welcome. Elly is a strict domme, and any sub who hopes to be well received here had better be on their best behavior.

The club is not your typical strip joint, it's really more meant as a social and play space for boot fetishists. The conversation frequently turns to shopping - you're shocked, I know - and I've certainly seen some of the best boots in Second Life worn here.

So pull on your best boots and come on by if you want good company, good music, and good fetishwear-clad ladies... and, to be honest, a few bad fetishwear-clad ladies too. ;)

The Black Boot Club is a social meeting place for boot wearing dommes, though they welcome every well behaved individual.

It has 2 levels, the ground floor is for dancing and conversation, the upstairs is more for role play and offers some very nice bondage toys.

The main goal of the club it to be a meeting place for like minded people, in this case mostly Mistresses and their subs. Most evenings are filled with some dancing and mostly conversation.

a nice extra feature is the picnic area on the beach, a great place to see the sun rise from the sea.

The club is owned by Mistress Elly Dagger, who, unlike most other club owners, has no real financial objectives with the club, though tips are most welcome to keep the club running *winks*. This is most notable by the lack of dancers and tip jars on every square meter of the club.

So all in all a great place for some intelligent conversation about topics close to our hearts and the music at the club shouldn't go unmentioned, a great mix of 80's and 90's classics. Gives the place an extra edge over the other hip hop, techno, goth... filled clubs.

Ohh one final little thing i should mention, the line dances, a real must see....

Bax Coen Design - Ankle boots, black patent

I'm a big fan of Bax's boots. The shape is terrific, the heel is a true classic stiletto, and there's a lot to love in the menus and so on. More details about those in lelo's post - jeez, you'd think she owns them, not me ;)

I was very happy to see this new patent leather texture, because others (like "black suede") left me a little cold. Black has a way of fading in the background, as we said before about other items with black-on-black designs.

This boot has reflections. It has lacing. It has stitching like you imagine devoted european shoemakers put on expensive fashion boots. The prim eyelets and laces all say this boot is a labor of love by someone who had : a pair sitting on their desk in real life, a magnifying glass, and good lighting ;)

I'll tell tales out of school and give you faithful readers a bit of advance notice on a version in *red* patent coming soon... if poor Bax is swamped in orders.. oh, wait, this isn't real life. Go ahead and get a pair, and tell her Deirdre sent you!

Great looking boot, the texture is amazing, giving the boots its wonderful look, the stitching is very realistic, best I've seen yet.

The thing that makes these boots really special is the way you can personalize the boots, you can change the color of the heel, sole, tip, eyelets, laces and add a lace top, only problem with this is the length of the options menu.

The boots come with a good AO and adjustable sound, guess.. yep you are right, more options *winks*

The only little thing i don't like about the boots is the pointy toe, not really my taste, but the rest of the boots make more than up for that.

A final thing about the boots, i like the small details Bax has put into the boots, like the size 0 on the sole of the boot, or the look of the box they come in, both show her eye for detail, Minx look out for this one....

DXD : freebie Mistress heels

A very nice shoe, with detailed prim work. It's free, the best advertising possible.

This said, the texture is black on light black, with some black highlights.

See the end of this post for a Photoshop-lightened version to show the admirable work that went into this shoe, which you might otherwise miss.

The astute (and regular) reader of this blog may have noticed that I'm not wild about platforms. Well, there you go. If you noticed, you're astute. But this shoe does look pretty wicked, and will make you a foot or so taller, never a bad thing.

The spurs on the Mistress version are awesome. You'd kill any poor slave you stabbed with these in real life, but in Second Life, there's no such thing as excess.

The slave version has heel rings instead of the spurs, which I've only seen in fifties bondage drawings (Stanton and friends). Instant classic!

So there you go. Get the shoes, be the envy of your friends, and drop casually in conversation that they were free... and Deirdre and lelo told you about them ;)

Simply the best looking freebies shoes in SL, it's hard to believe they give them away.

The shoes have a very high platform and some killer heels, 3 buckles and some good looking laces, the Mistress version has some nice spurs and the slave version some d-rings.

As these are the freebie versions the texture is very plain, the retail version offers a somewhat better texture, but the are pretty much black on black low contrast.

The slave version comes with a simple RLV locking script, but the retail version has a more elaborate menu driven control system. But i'll go into the workings of those when i get my hands on a pair of them.

The store has a nice lay out in a slight Japanese style, it's small but the rezzing displays of the shoes are great, much better than those static pictures on most vendors.

Redgrave : Boots, Black Leather Sculpties

I privately refer to these as my "business" boots, as they're what I wear with a business suit to look serious ;)

The fit is perfect, and I love the heel, it's just a ladylike height. The boots come in a slim and medium size: this is *not* footwear for BBW avatars. Classy, elegant, excellent quality... stop me if I'm gushing too much? ;)

The store is lovely too - it looks more like an art gallery than a skin and clothing store.

The boots are at the very end women's section. I gave you the SLURL to the exact spot but this is another of those places with a fixed teleport point. Just keep walking and look at the right wall.

These boots have a very simple look, but when you look closely you can see the work that has been put into them.

The texture has a great leather look, some well placed stitching's and folds give the boots a realistic look.

The heels have a good look with a nice everyday height, a leather lace around the top of the boot finishes the design.

All in all a great looking boot, perfect for a nice pony ride or just worn under a pair of jeans in on PG sim.
