Kcreations - Calf Boots

Kat called us with some just-released, hot-off-the-press new sculpted boots, so we pounced - remember, you saw them here first ;)

They're calf-boots, with a nice clean shape and good heel out of the box.

They look typically eighties-styled to me, but that's just mama Deirdre's grey hair peeking out under the blonde Sirena.

Good heels, a nice shape with a wide-ish toe box that lelo loves (more than I do) and a great leather texture.. tuck some jeans in those, hop on a motorcycle, and you're all set.

These boots will keep you busy for years, yes you read that right years.

First things first though, the boots have an amazingly good shape and the texture really works great on these.

The next thing are the heels, the boot comes with 4 quick change heels, from a wedge to the shown stiletto's and there is a more clunky style heel.

It gets interesting when you select the textures, 22 in all to choose from.

But if you think that's where the color fun ends you are wrong, very wrong indeed.

The boots come with a HUD color selector very much like the one you might know from building in SL.

This gives you endless color combinations, with separate colors for the boot, the sole and the heels.

Ohh and one more nice little thing, they are copy so you can make as many color combinations as you like and add them to the outfits of your choose.

BAX better beware here's Kat and she is going places.

PixelFashion and Neurolab - Ultimate Boots

Deirdre:
We've seen stiletto boots, but this is the first needle heel I find :)

These Ultimate boots by Pixelfashion/Neurolab have a detailed and realistic leather texture, and a very good foot shape.

The fit is excellent; the small size fit me right out of the box, with the assistance of a small invisiprim, didn't even have to use the resize menu.

Anything that minimizes the fuss of fitting and adjusting is good, to my mind.

A neat bit of info I swiped from their XStreetSL page :

When you change the boot color, the "Ultimate Jewels Set" will change the color of the jewel to match your boots automatically.

If someone proclaims to have the ultimate boots we just have to check them out. *winks*

The boots come in all kinds of colors, and are grouped per color range, like with most hair packs in SL.

In each pack you get 4 colors, but if you like the look and are a frequent costume changer, you can get a fat pack containing all 29 colors.

In the pack you'll find the boots in 3 sizes, seems i'm a medium, the footshape and invisi prims to hide your feet, finally there is an English and French manual supplied.

The menu offers 3 options, with texture you can choose one of the 4 colors in the pack, with re-size you can adjust your boot size and the sound option controls the sound, nice and simple just the way we like them. *smiles*

So, great textures, many, many colors, easy to fit, wonderful shape, leaves only the heel which is a matter of taste, i would say the name is well chosen.

Maison Broceliande - MMMBoots

Some weeks ago, lelo spotted someone wearing some really awesome boots at Rubber Room. A quick inspect revealed they were from Maison Broceliande.

I called Yhis and asked her if I had missed a release.. she was fairly astonished, until I mentioned that the person wearing them was her friend.

So no, I hadn't been asleep at the switch, the boots were simply not out yet :)

There was still work to do on the numerous scripts. So here we are, a few weeks later, and the lovely MMMBoots are available.

Anyone who's seen a bit of John Willie art will recognize the boot style favored by Secret Agent U-69 in Sweet Gwendoline.

So, a gorgeous boot with stunning textures - zoom in on the leather seams! - and incredible prim work. What's not to love?

Run to Maison Broceliande and tell Yhis Deirdre sent you.

Woohoo... a new Maison Broceliande item... it's been a while, but it was worth the wait.

Well no way to get around it, those heels are amazing and i can just imagine them on a pair of balletboots. *wink wink nudge nudge*

When i saw the beautifull leather texture on the boots i just had to show them with the wonderfull alien leather catsuit from Brushed Reality.

Ok back to the boots or better the scripting in them, something you don't see in most fashion boots.

And as MB is primarily a BDSM label you won't be surprised that the boots are RLV enabled.

Next to an owner list and the usual lock options, you can change the colors of most prims on the boots, control the boots AO and change the volume of the boots.

A fun extra is the hobble walk which chains the boots and and slows down the wearer and stops them from jumping and flying.

Finally she will be offering free texture packs so you can personalize your boots even more.

Fussy inc - Envy Boots

Fussy looks more like a Victorian manor house than a retail store, but that's definitely not a bad thing.

The interior is classy and well laid-out, and the fitting room has drapes that close and a clever mirror.

The boots are made of sculpties, and are quite something to watch appear, all the spheres converting to the shapes, until you have lovely, scrunched leather folds around your ankles.

They have the look of the recent "hidden platform" boots, where the leather covers the platform sole.. pretty trendy :)

A lovely fashion boot that can pinch-hit for an actual fetish boot... and let's face it, there were fashion boots before there were fetish boots ;)

We saw these boots at on of our people watching spots and followed them to a nicely designed store.

A store mostly filled with shoes and boots but there are a few other items there as well.

The boots aren't quite fetish, but i guess for someone with a boot fetish they will do, not naming any names here. *winks*

The little leather lace on the side of the boot looks great, but then i guess i must have been a cat in a former life, things like that just fascinate me. *smiles*

So give the store a look some great shoes and boots you can wear in the more decent parts of SL.

FJ Design - DMC Extreme (black)

Deirdre:
DMC (or Devil May Care) is one awesome model from a variety of other good boots at FJ.

The straps, chains, buckles, and other assorted bits, are all sculpties - the boots are pretty spectacular to watch as they rez.

The leather texture is gorgeous, and the heel is excellent. I'm tempted to stop there, those are really great boots :)

They come with the nice resize script we're seeing more frequently now. Careful with it, though : a proportional resize for my slim legs means the boots got shorter, too ;)

The overknee part resizes independently of the calf and foot, which I think is pretty smart.

A note card in the boot makes an interesting suggestion : to ease lag around you, you may consider deleting the resize script after you're done with it.

FJ Design has a nice little store with a great selection of boots.

We followed the lead of some other boots we saw at the ranch, but when we saw these boots we were sold.

These boots would be a nightmare to put on with all those belts, one of the perks of SL. *winks*

The little black dress by drawmachine is a great match with these boots, or any other boots for that matter.

We really suggest you give the place a good look, it isn't big but the variation in design is large, something for everyone.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Blue Streak

You could make a case for this outfit being for a showgirl, or a ring mistress with the cool top hat.

Either way, it's called Blue Streak, and it's new from Kayliwulf.

There's a lot of transparent latex, and a little bit of blue.

The back is completely bare, so this is a good time to break out the big hair for modesty ;)

The long laced boots and gloves (with cool prim laces) will help you feel a little less bare.

The #4 heels are in matching blue instead of the contrasting metal we've seen in the past.

It's time for another bedroom special from Kayliwulf... *smiles*

The top hat is a slight bit of victoriana left over from the last post but the rest would give an averige victorian an heart attack.

The rest is blue and a streak is about all there is to it. *winks*

I got curious about the name.. Merriam-Webster says the expression dates from 1830, so we're still firmly Victorian there.

It either means something that moves very fast, or a constant stream of words : "Deirdre talked a blue streak" ;)

So if you want to surprise your loved one with a sexy outfit in the bedroom or work as a ring mistress, this is the out fit for you...

Ohh and guys Kayliwulf outfits are transferable so you can always make it a nice gift, or two when you catch one of those BOGO's

Whittentons - Lexi Boots

We finally got around to visiting Whittentons - I picked up these great Lexi thigh boots, as representative of their boot style.

The heel is great fun, and while it's not quite a ballet boot, it's nearly there.

The store is huge, though, and has much more than boots... from men's clothes to bridal gowns.

We were greeted by Jordan Whittenton himself, who was quite pleasant and helpful.

He took a moment to discuss the history of the store with us : five years in Second Life, nearly unimaginable in RL years.

As it happens, we visited at a terrific time : everything in the store except the very latest designs is 100L$.

So if you want to buy cool boots for the price of tipping a DJ for two song requests, hurry over ;)

The Whittentons boots have a very distinctive look, the short foot and the high heel make these true fetish boots.

These boots are called the Lexi, barbed wire would have been a better name, but i guess that one was already taken.

The barbed ring in the heels is a nice little touch and i love the metal top of the heel.

The fit is quite good, just the tops of the boots take a bit of work, but using a pose stand helps with that.

At the current price, a must-have fashion accessory for every boot lover.

Armyst - Mallica

This is the latest outfit from Armyst, called Mallica. The boots are called the same, but sold separately.

As you see, they're color coordinated with the outfits.

The tops of boots have fun contrasting colors as well as the boot color itself if you want a solid look.

The belt is cool, but was a little big for me - nothing new there - so I didn't wear it in my pic.

The skirt is tiny on me, but looks fine on fuller hips. If there was non-proportional stretching on it, I'd lengthen it, but no go.

A cool little dress with a bunch of good variations, especially if you get the fat pack and the boots.

The outfit comes with a few nice options and so do the boots.

You can wear the outfit with a net inset in the side panels, showing some extra skin in the top, pants and skirt.

The net-stockings come in full lenght or thigh high versions and the belt comes in two colors.

The texturing on the gloves and top are great, i love the folds and sowing lines.

Moving on to the boots, which have the now almost standard resizing script in them, though this one has a new feature we haven't seen before, there is a simple pose in it so you can fit your boots.

And the boots come with 3 choices of color for the top and belts.

WarDooM Shoes - Natalie Chained

lelo must have the best WarDoom boot collection in SL, and we just added a new model : Natalie Chained.

I don't know who poor Natalie is, but she keeps getting strapped and chained.. she must be some kind of masochist ;)

The front zipper is really good, and a little easier to see in this version.

Great pencil heel, amazing shine, and some fun functions I'll let lelo tell you about.

We danced for hours at the last WarDoom launch party - join the group to get notified, it's worth it!

Don't you just hate it when you have to choose between wearing boots or ankle cuffs, no problem with these new WarDooM boots.

These are the newest version of the Natalie boots, the name should tell you enough. *smiles*

Simply put the boots have all the functions of a collar imbeded in them, including some very nice poses.

The details on their boots are getting better and better have a look at the zipper it's a piece of art.

The cuffs only show when the boots are locked, by selftimer or your owner, and feature a pair of great looking Abus locks.

Once looked you can't get at the menu only your owner has controle of the boots from then on.

Great new version of the Natalie's, fashion boots when unlocked, bondage gear when locked, what else could you wish from a pair of boots? *winks*

WarDooM Shoes - Miyu Black, Lack and Latex

We covered the Wardoom Miyu boots a while back, and they still are great looking boots.

The boots are not new, but the textures are.

Wardoom is introducing new colors, so the Miyu's and all other WarDoom boots will be available in 7 colors from now on.

Pink for all you barbie lovers, and a nice neutral white.

Red comes in two versions, a bright shiny latex red and a bit darker elegant red.

Finally there are 3 versions of black: the normal elegant black, somewhat like dark polished leather.

The old fetish black aka lack, which has a little bit of a shine to it, you can compare it to the shine on Kayliwulf latex.

And the new Latex black which has a much deeper shine to it, say like you get with POC clothing.

On the picture you can see the blacks next to each other, starting with the normal black to the left, the lack is in the middle with the Latex to the right.

We hope this will take away some of the confusion in the WarDoom store, WarDoom offering you black boots for every occasion.

JB Gazov - Long Boots Round

Blogger gets very unhappy with special characters in post titles... so to clarify : the store name is J's, and the designer is JB Gazov.

The name is Long Boots Round. If you're detecting a minimalist theme here, you're not wrong.

These elegant leather boots are leg attached, like Wardoom's. This solves a number of problems, including poses with the horrible "broken ankle" effect.

A very good menu controls resizing, heel shape, and the cool side strap on the upper calf.

There are two invisi-prim feet to wear separate from the boot, along with the usual foot shape.

Then you take your pick from three calf sizes : M, L, and Wide. Standard enough.

But you get a bonus : a pair of truncated boots to wear with pants, so the prim part doesn't stick through.

Lovely boots, excellent detail, and even if they're more fashion than fetish, they work just fine with a bit of accessorizing.

Now these are the kind of non-fetish boots i love, anyone know where i can get a pair like these in RL, at this price. *winks*

This was one of those, "ohh... wow.. look at those boots..got to have them..", good thing SL has an inspect option.

The zipper and buckle on the inside leg look amazing and the leather texture is really good down to the stitching on it.

When using the ankle length boots remember to wear some stockings or the inside of you pants will be skin colored, ruining the effect.

I like it that JB includes these boots in the set as Mistress's usual trick of detaching the calf part under pants doesn't work in this case.

So for a pair of great leather boots hurry over to J's, and give the rest of his stock a good look, he's still kind of a secret.

WarDoom Shoes - Natalie Strapped Latex

These are the Natalie boots we covered in September in thigh-high length, but they're nearly unrecognizeable.

Be grateful these are SL only, because zipping them up, strapping them down, and putting in the fourteen locks would take a half hour ;)

The pencil heel is really terrific, and the detail on the straps, down to leather grain and edge stitching, is just stunning.

These are not the cheapest knee boots we've ever seen, but for the amount of work you're getting, they're a bargain.

As promised a while back with the new Natalie boots here are the first belted models.

The first thing you notice are of course the trademark WarDoom belts and when locked you'll get loads of nice little Abus locks. *smiles*

The zipper has a nice little WarDoom logo on it, though i find it a bit strange to have the zipper on the front of the boot, still it looks great.

The real innovation lays in the scripting of the boots, they have even more options as the XXL fetish boots.

Next to all the locking, leashing and chaining options, one little thing is very fun, as with earlier WarDoom boots you can hide the heels, but with these one that means that you can't stand on them anymore.

WarDoom offers the boots in their usual array of color, and with the new latex shine they just look lovely.

So run and get your own, while they are hot... ohh... boot like this will always be hot.. *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - High Platform Riding Boots

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Pony Correspondent post - with equestrian content, so don't panic!

Introducing the brand-new, just released today, VvB Platform Riding boots.

They are gorgeous and the shine totally suggests a highly polished, hard riding boot.. with platform and skyscraper heel.

The spur is English style - your rubber ponies will appreciate not being poked full of holes.

They can be worn with the over-the-knee flap, or without, perhaps for a more classic riding look.

Heel-click volume, AO, and a color menu for the cute bow knot behind the knee are controlled by a menu - click either boot to activate.

Jaydana's cart reviews return next week. Unless some really, really awesome riding boots come my way again ;)

You might recognize our lovely guest model from the POC post a while back, Viktoria herself came to model her new boots for us.

Be careful, the paint is still wet on these, and they should hit her store at any moment.

A - K Designs - Luna Noir Dress

The first time I visited the A&K store, I couldn't find it - I thought I was in a mall.

A closer look showed that all the shops were Adrianna's, and confusion was dispelled ;)

She has a wide variety, and more than a few fetish items, such as Luna Noir, this neat little black (leather?) dress.

The top is quite neat, the folds suggesting leather very nicely. The big floppy boots with chunky heels are not my usual, but eh, change is good, right?

Adrianna feels, as I do, that more items should be transferrable.

We buy something we like, wear it, and our tastes may change, or we see that it might suit someone else better.. but no, can't give it away.

All regularly priced A&K items are transfer, so if you want to make a new citizen's day when you clean out your wardrobe, you know what to do ;)

We first saw A&K at one of the LFFW shows and were interested by their designs.

When we visited the store we were greeted by loads of small shops, each having there own theme/style.

Luna is one of her latest designs, a fun little black dress, complete with boots.

The skirt and boots took a bit of adjusting but the parts can be easily modified. The boots have a resize script, but not the skirt. Well, edit still works. *smiles*

Give the store a look, even if it's only to see the mermaid, or the lucky chairs, the camping for gear, the midnight madness.... ohh and the clothes.. *winks*

ARMYST - Miss Pain

We've showed you some nice boots from Armyst in the past, and more recently after the LFFW, gave you a small peek at Lady B.

It's nice to see that Panjomy is branching out into clothes. Introducing her latest outfit, Miss Pain.

It's available in black/red (worn here) and black/white (vendor pic at the end of the post).

The outfit is 9 pieces, including 3 underwear layer bottoms : the laced pants I'm wearing, a not-too-tiny bikini bottom, and the same plus fishnets.

The top is laced front and back, and looks good even without the jacket-layer corset; but the corset makes the look, to my eye.

A good outfit at a very reasonable price, considering the included boots.

Only part of the outfit not laced are the gloves, not that i'm complaining we *do* love laces. *smiles*

The outfit has a very domme feel about it, just misses a whip on the hip to make it complete.

Give the shop a look, it has been remodeled since our last visit and looks much better, the improved layout is much cleaner, a fun place to shop.

WarDoom - Natalie

One of these two must be the evil twin.. I just don't know which one ;)

Introducing Natalie, Wardoom's latest line of lower priced boots.

We just laid hands on them Sunday. New, new, new!

This is the bare version, the trademark Wardoom spikes and straps will be added on upcoming versions.

The knees look quite good when lelo sits - sadly we've seen other boots that look a bit odd that way.

I love the new heel, it's quite elegant. Another win for Wardoom.

Finally a new boot by WarDoom, these are totally new, well mostly.

Tanja recycled the script of the Elfe boots, so you can control the gloss, sound and if the boot has a heel.

The heel is new and looks very lethal so everything is good there. *winks*

I would advise you to get the latex versions shown here, they have a new texture that looks very good.

A promising start to a new series of boots, i can't wait untill Tanja makes her spike and belt magic happen.

Ohh and Tanja is planning to make her first platform boots in this series, but don't tell her i told you, all still hush, hush.... smiles*

SHi Sexy Fashion - Pepper Short Boots

I don't have that many ankle boots, so it's great to find this cute pair from SHi.

They are not new, if I read the note in the box correctly (and that note is pure genius : one thing SL misses is some sort of date system on items).

And when I say pair, well. One pair is 186L$, and the "Big Pack" is 286L$ for six colors. Your basic no-brainer ;)

There's a neat sound control menu for when you fly, land, crouch, and so on. Load your sounds in, and they will play. The menu is on the usual right-boot click.

This is a great boot, with excellent texture and prim details like the straps, laces, and slightly ominous O-rings at the back (SHi makes a *lot* of bondage gear!)

This is another one of those see them, love them, buy them boots.

We saw these on one of the many well dressed guest at Twisted Orchid.

With most designers you can see the family lines but Sweel's work isn't like that so it's fun finding her name in the designers slot.

At the store we are once again amazed at Sweel's low prices and especially the six pack is something you just can't beat.

The freebie is still the lovely suspenders and stockings from the last time we visited, great for the reader that didn't get them last time.

Did we mention the big doll?? *winks*

BAX Coen Design - Prestige Boots Black Leather

Bax's Prestige leather boots are quite new; they were released two weeks ago.

They're absolutely gorgeous, from the tip of the heel to the menu-controlled boot top.

I've told you often enough about adjusting boots, and I sure don't mind doing it; it's part of Second Life.

But this time, Bax blows the competition out of the water with this simple sentence coming out of her store's service terminal :

"We will fit your BAX Prestige Boots for free while you wear them. Ask our Customer Service in the store."

I watched Bax herself fix a few customers' boots, and it takes next to no time.

This gave me enough info to do most of my adjusting, then Bax finished it for me.

These are now my favorite boots, edging out my Redgrave by a small fraction.

Perfect classic stiletto heel, metal accents in the right places, a detailed leather texture, and ankle "folds" add to the realism.

These are the boots of the season for me. Bax once again sets the bar for other boot designers.

Another great boot by Bax and as we have come to expect they don't only look extremely good, the scripting is once again impressive.

The menu give you the options to control the look of the boots by changing the tops on them, a very nice feature are the denim versions.

The color of most of the parts can be adjusted to match your taste, most except for the main boot color, a simple reset colors button saves you when you go a bit overboard with the adjustments.

The menu offers, by now, the usual sound and AO setting, didn't take us long to get used to that one. *winks*

The fitting menu is something we haven't seen like this before, and the remote fitting option is another new feature to SL.

Finally there is the option to remove all the scripts from the boots making them a bit more lag friendly.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Bleu Belle

We covered Belle Rouge from Kayliwulf last month (our 200th post!) and now, here is Bleu Belle.

The outfits only have the name in common. This is a catsuit in a solid blue, with the famous Kayliwulf deep cleavage.

The white lace accents (gloves and bra) are a nice, delicate touch.

The boots are an earlier design. We saw recent improvements from Kayliwulf - in heels, in particular - but those are far from junk.

A nice outfit that just needs a few straps and cuffs and corsets and belts, and a hood, and a pump-gag and... um. You know ;)

Blue Belle is a 11-part outfit, mostly as you might get from the name blue but with a few little white highlights.

The white boots are obvious but the enchanted bra has a nice white lacetex border and there are the lacetex gloves.

The enchanted bra and the lacetex undercup bra are in two seperate layers so you can mix and match them.

Sadly the boots are the old type and those take a bit of adjusting with my somewhat more than average calf's.

And be careful the boots are no copy, one of mine almost left the sim when i made a wrong move *winks*
