Duce - Aphotic Raven

When we got the Aphotic Raven outfit and boots from Duce, I had a surprise : the boots don’t include invisiprims, so they are meant only for users of v2 viewers.

It’s been a while since I tried it. Last time, my video card died the day after I ran the Linden v2. It could be a coincidence, but I don’t trust it anymore, so we snapped those pictures on another computer.

I had forgotten how clumsy and oppressive the user interface is in v2.

Lindens : seriously, whatever you paid for that horrible design, you got screwed, ok? You need to call Jakob Nielsen, and fast.

I will drop Linden viewers before I move to v2.

Designers : the alpha socks are temptingly easy, but I recommend making invisiprims for a while yet, and clearly labeling boxes that don’t include them as v2 only.

This said, the boots look pretty awesome, and the spurs are wicked! Boot colors available are black, blueberry, camo, cherry and grape.

The outfit has good shine and decent detail, and as usual, I could only wish the prims (cap and belt) were resizeable to a little smaller.

The boots are somewhat the same style as the bad dogs, though not a restyled copy.

The thing that really stands out on them are the belts and the spurs connected to them.

The belts are quite amazing, someone really took some time sculpting them to look real.

The rest of the outfit is simple but good, still the boots really stand out, great work, we want more!!! *winks*

Amilli Daviau Design - Latex Overknee Boots

Amilli’s Latex Overknees were around before this whole fashion craze about thigh boots. They’re shiny, high heeled, laceup, sexy thigh boots - none of that runway stuff ;)

They come with a pair of lace-top stay-up fishnet stockings to complete your look.

A resize menu is included, but they fit me nicely right out of the box. A note mentions not to move your avatar while resizing. Not something most of us would do, I imagine, but it seems it breaks the boots, so be careful.

A good walksound + sexywalk prim is included. Default attach point is the chin, but you can change that to anywhere you like.

Ok, so these boots aren’t brand spanking new, but they are classics in SL.

So it was high time to add them to our blog, we do want to be the ultimate guide to SL fetish fashion after all.

The boots predate all the new prim sculpting tools and it shows but it gives them a certain feel, guess our SL age is showing. *winks and quickly hides a grey hair under her rubber hood*

So run and get these boots if you are serious about your SL Fetish Fashion, these are a classic you must have...

VvB Stiletto Heels - Mistress of the Hunt and Daemonatrix

I dusted off my Latex Desire Victorian Latex for this shoot to do justice to these incredible riding boots : Mistress of the Hunt, by VvB.

They’re a v3 (which is to say, new and improved to Viktoria’s latest standards) thigh high riding boot with extreme heels, platforms, and spurs.

And it may say something about me that I think “bedroom” rather than “horseback riding” when I reread this description.

Those would look absolutely striking on jodhpurs - I’ll have to break down and get a pair one day.

Definitely a pony play must. Hey, I should show them to Jaydana! ;)

The heels and platforms on the Daemonatrix i’m wearing, are the usual quality you expect from VvB.

This time there are no laces you can color but you can color the metal parts on these boots in quite a few, metallic, colors.

It’s a good thing i wear a tight corset most of the time or the points on the top of the boots would prevent me from sitting. Winks*

I only had to stretch the invisi prims a little bit to hide my pony calf's.

Not quite my style but i do think these boots should be in every SL demoness’s wardrobe.

Duce - Bad Dogs 2

Deirdre:
We were hanging out at Mesmerize (told you it was a happening place!) when we saw someone wearing those gorgeous fetish boots : Bad Dogs 2, by Duce.

They are an astonishing 233 prims, and it shows. A good fraction (I’m not sitting here and counting them, sorry!) is made up by the laces and grommets.

The cool ankle strap looks like it could hold a spur in place nicely - maybe in version three.

The texture is quite good, with good leather folds on the ankle.

A good resize script is included, and it’s a real treat to watch it resize every prim one by one. Out of the box, I just hit -5% on each boot and I was there.

A v2 invisi sock is included, and the invisi shoes are not part of the boot. We’re getting nearer to v2 every day, and it’s a *good* thing... I may believe that if I repeat it enough ;)

As Mistress said we found them at our new fetish meeting place, Mesmerize Dungeon, the place hasn’t let us down yet.

The store is in a nice mall, which we are bound to explore very soon so keep watching this space for more.

Secret Passion - Midnight Boot

Secret Passion is a nice fashion store with a good boot section.. come on, heels like that you have to call fetish, don’t you?

Ok, ok, so sue me, they’re fashion boots. ;)

The cool part is, the Midnight are available in knee, calf, and ankle length, so you can get all three models if you love the look, and accessorize all your outfits with the best boot for each.

There are a lot of very good details, like laces, folds, seams, a cute ankle strap with the buckle facing the right way ;) and of course, those killer sculpted heels.

I got out my Drawmachine little black dress to show off the boots... I think I have my Christmas party outfit :)

PS : Deirdre secret tip! The boots are mod, so add shine for a very different (and gorgeous) look!

We went to the store finding Samy’s main product to be skins and the boots can be found, after a quick search, upstairs.

We called Samy and she was so kind to talk to us, we just love it get the inside scoop first hand from the designers them selves.

Seems we have mutual friends, my favourite boot designers, Tanja and WarDoom, from WarDoom Shoes.

And it’s seems WarDoom is to blame that Samy is making boots, i would say keep up the great work WarDoom. *winks*

So like Mistress said, great fetish fashion boots, get them before everyone wears them.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Vintage & Witch

The first thing you’ll think when you see the Vintage and Witch boots is, wow, beautiful.

The second thing you’ll think is, hey, there’s a bit missing! ;)

We hadn’t hit the sculpty display bug in quite a while, but fortunately I remembered that we had received expert advice from Damen at Adam n Eve on how to fix it.

Vintage, which I am wearing here, come with eight colors accessible from a menu (and note that the boots are independent, so if you want one dark blue and one Hugo pink, you can have that).

The fun two-tone look and side lacing buttons make these boots a natural for any Victorian outfit you have.

(A quick Post-Scriptum at 4:37PM same day : Viktoria fixed the LOD problem in her boots and the change in settings is no longer necessary!)

After all the upgrades Viktoria did the past couple of months, she finally did some new boots.

And as you can expect with VvB boots they look great, but beware all you VvB lover, these don’t have platforms. *winks*

You get a nice classic designed calf boot, where the Witch boots, worn by me, are laced, the Vintage boots, worn by Mistress, are of the old fashioned button-up kind.

The heels are just the way we love them, sky high and needle thin, these should come with a weapons licence.

Mine come with the usual color change script for the laces, we’ve seen in many VvB boots.

A lovely pair of boots that shouldn’t be missing from any festishista’s wardrobe.

Drakke - Starry Freebie and Store Move

Deirdre:
We discovered Drakke Designs a short while back, and Mandrakke sure adopted us.

He keeps us informed of new developments, sends us the store’s new SLURL, tells us about freebies, sends us flowers - well, no, not quite, but nearly ;)

So. The store has moved, and is now taking a good quarter of the sim at Bounty Bay II.

It’s big, but it’s really clean and well laid out, has wonderful high ceilings (you know by now how I hate the cramped little boxes), and a cool black theme, a gorgeous fountain... it’s pretty much what I’d build if I had talent ;)

To celebrate the store move, Mandrakke made one of his best-seller ankle boots free in white, and the black model a cheapie at a stunning 50L$.

By the way, designers, are you listening to the broad hint, here? Keep us posted, and we’ll keep posting about you ;)

The belt and the little stars on the chain are a fun extra for the boots, making them stand out a bit more.

Drakke’s Design - Restraint and Locked

Remember the eighties? ;)

No, no, not the Saturday Night Live Goat Boy sketches, it’s just what I told Mandrakke when I saw those cool ankle boots with the chains and cuffs - clip-on boot bracelets were big back then.

Mine are called Restraint, and feature a neat handcuff on the left boot and the most adorable little BDSM triskele sign rotating under the heel - talk about not possible in RL.

Those are not new releases - au contraire, they are some of Drakke’s best-sellers.

Don’t forget to tell Mandrakke where you saw them ;)

Some nice ankle boots by Drakke, mostly fashion wear but with a fun little BDSM twist.

The boots have a nice suede look, though he comes close to black on black we love to hate. *smiles*

The big belt is just for show, sadly, and the locked, which i’m wearing, has a couple of nice looking boot chains with loads of little locks.

A great detail is the little key between the sole and the heel with the rotating rings around it.

As with his other boots there is a good working re-size script in the boots which can be delete when the boots fit.

The boots offer the old invisible foot prims or the newer viewer 2 alpha masks.

Great boots for a fun night on the town...

Y and N - Yalin Dominant v2

Deirdre:
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for the military look : caps, trench coats, secret agent shades..

So you can imagine how this outfit cried mama to me. The box says Y&N Outfit Yalin Dominant v2.

The devil prims (skulls and pentacles and blood diamonds) are just a bonus ;)

The cap is really great, and fit me pretty much out of the box, with only minor adjustments in position.

The boots are platforms in a slightly older style in SL. Big prim straps and buckles and an unusual shine effect still make them interesting.

If you rez everything in the folder, you’ll end up wearing a pose stand and a box. Detach and open : the box contains a cool shoulder rat and a whip and holster.

A decent outfit, with excellent bits. Price may be a touch high for some, but we’ve certainly seen worse.

We found this one in a bit of a roundabout way: we saw this one at a store in the Rubber Room mall, but found out that is was made by another designer.

We followed the original designer to her main store and had a nice little chat with her.

Her store is a bit different, inside a star sphere you walk around in a pink fog and all kind of birds and fairies fly around you... ok i’m Dutch but i didn’t smoke anything, go have a look for youself.

As you can imagine Mistress just had to have this outfit, if only for the cap. *winks*

Beware of the cuffs on the belt, click them and before you know it they close around your wrists with an ominous rattle.

Sintimacy - Turning Heads Dress

We hadn’t dropped by Sintimacy in a while, and when we did, the latest release looked really good so we decided to share it with you, faithful readers.

This cool ensemble is called Turning Heads Dress... and I think it’s pretty much guaranteed to do that.

Now while it’s not strictly speaking a fetish outfit in the sense of heavy rubber and gasmasks, it’s hot, sexy club wear and there were boots included ;)

The dress is one layer only, but I can’t picture needing to wear much else with it.

The top is shirt layer so you can add a jacket for those long chilly walks from the limo to the club door.

The boots have a nice re-size script and for a change i needed it, haven’t seen boots this small in SL, but plus 12% and they fit perfectly with out breaking a sweat.

Ohh almost forgot the lovey bracelets included in the package, a nice fashionable change from my usual bracelets.

Faktum Style - Latex Outfit Skirt Pink

This little dress outfit by Faktum Style (simply called Latex Outfit Skirt) features something you don’t see every day : loose latex.

The vendor pic caught my eye for that reason at the Rubber Room mall, and we paid Faktum Style a visit.

On the plus side, the store is small, so you won’t be confused looking for the outfit ;)

The outfit is available in 12 colors - that is, black plus 12 accents.

A cool little outfit, we look forward to seeing more designs by Faktum Maktoum.

Simple little outfit, 10 parts is all, but it is a complete kit, just add skin. hair and shape and you are smiling.

I like the boots, they are what i would call working sub’s boots, nice and shiny, platform and good walkable chunky heel.

The pink belts only purpose is to tie the boots in with the skirt.

The boots come with a simple but functional re-size script, but seems these boots were made for me.

The pink accent colour can also be found on the gloves and the net-stockings, nice details.

Fun little outfit, as long as you don’t mind the size of your butt in this skirt.. *winks*

Drakke's Designs - Obsession

Want some brand-new, hot-off-the-press, shiny, funky-heeled, platform crotch-high boots?

Drakke’s Designs knows you do ;) So here are the just-released “Obsession” boots.

They’re based on the same prims as the Elektra ankle boots we’ve shown you, but the contrasting lucite sole highlights the foot shape really nicely.

A RLV version of Obsession will be released on Friday, and you’ll be able to get them soon (at a discount!) on the Second Life Marketplace (the artist formerly known as XStreetSL).

A v2 version is included, and fiddling to adjust the boots to be tight but not show skin was a little challenge that had me yearning for alpha stockings, I’ll admit.

When we were talking to Mandrakke a little while back he told us he was working on some crotch high boots.

To say Mistress was a little interested is an understatement, so she was quite happy when she received these today.

As usual the adjustments with high boots like this take a bit of work, but this is as good as it can get till we get mesh and it delivers what it promises.

Nothing says Domme like thigh high or even like these crotch high boots.. well maybe a whip and a stern look, but a pair of boots is easier on the eyes. *winks*

Drakke's Designs - Elektra Fetish Boots

The wild heel and platform hide a very good foot shape, and the shine is bold and quite good.

I just love when a designer gets the name of a product totally right.

These boots are really a fetishists dream, extreme high heel, good looking platform and a nice latex shine.

And the Elektra in the name must be the fun, build in, Neon lights, which are controlled by a nice little HUD.

The boots themselves have a good resizing script and the option to kill the script when done.

Only thing missing might be a locking script, but hey, most of you will have a nice little relay that can take care of that.

VvB - Fame V3 and Prima Donna Ballets V3

Viktoria called us with a few new updates to her Version 3 line : the awesome Fame boots I’m wearing here (with my no less awesome Dangerous outfit from Addictions!).

Viktoria is literally re-doing every boot in her store. Progress is steady, and she calls us every month or so with the news... the end is in sight ;)

The shape of the foot is the first thing I noticed on Fame. It is very elegant, with a short and slender toe box and excellent curve to the foot - this is an authentic-looking high-heeled boot.

The shine applied to the V3 line makes the boots seem grey if you catch them just right (ie perfectly perpendicular to the surface in bright light), but from every other angle, you get a deep black shine.

The buckles and grommets on the (many!) straps are colorable from a menu, to match your outfits, with colors like bronze, gold, silver, and even black, for that stealthy spy look ;)

Yes guilty as charged, i just can’t stay away from good-looking ballet boots like VvB's Prima Donna.

You should know these by now, these are the newest update, she has been tinkering on the foot-shape and the reflections.

The improvement on the reflection it obvious, the shape takes a bit of comparing, but it really is quite an improvement.

The Slaverina version, aka the locking version, should be available this weekend, if RL permits.

The boots are no-copy yes-trans, so Viktoria can adjust them for you if needed. Generally Vik’s boots fit Mistress and me straight out of the box.

Sinh - DingDing BlackRed

Sinh is a huge fetish store, which we’re featuring for the first time. This fun outfit is called DingDing (that’s a line of outfits) BlackRed.

Sinh is also the first store we’ve seen that gives a 20% discount to its group members. On a 400L$ outfit, that’s 80L$... it adds up fast if you buy a few outfits.

Lelo is wearing the outfit of the week here, which was half off from the normal price. That makes visiting the store regularly a good idea.

Gos - DARE Bootie

Deirdre:
A gorgeous pair of peep-toe booties from Gospel Voom, these are called DARE, and are inspired by Alexander McQueen’s Faithful bootie.

While this is not exactly a new item (it’s been at Gos’s gorgeous store for a while), there are a few good things about it : first, it’s a new and improved version, including a v2 alpha sock, and second, the price has come down by nearly a third.

I absolutely love the look of them, like a little fold-down perfecto leather jacket for your feet.

The detail on the back of the heel is awesome, and the texture reflections are incredible. No cartoony black on black here : the word is realism.

Explore the menu, there are more good things in there than in most RLV toys.

2011-06-01 - Deirdre here. We had an unpleasant surprise last night. Pet tipped us to a new Gos design, we went to see, and found out lelo and I are now banned from Gos for lelo’s rating of 7 on service. I called Gospel, and he was pretty snarky about the whole thing. Well, you know what? I’m adding this note to let everyone looking up Gospel Voom know that you can’t browbeat higher ratings out of my sweetie, and I fully support her opinion. And I’m giving Gospel Voom a zero for service. That’s right, the first and probably only one in this blog. He is now also boycotted by Pet, who brings *big* spenders to stores, and he will not get a review again in this blog if he mails me cash in RL. End of drama ;)

The boots have a simple menu in them that lets you control the size of the boots, with one of the best resizing scripts we have seen yet.

You also get to change the texture of leather on the boots, the color of the sole and zipper.

Under extras you get a lot of options, including a HUD giver and an option to close the front of the boots, hiding the toes.

The HUD gives you the options for the skin tone and the nail polish.

Ok, so they aren’t ballets, they don’t lock or have have numerous belts, still they are pretty funky looking ankle boots.

Inedit - Death Rose

Deirdre:
This gorgeous outfit would set you back some thousands of dollars in RL... Death Rose - Blood by Inedit is not something your average 18-year old gothette will be wearing on the street.

The long coat has a number of excellent prim details: collar, cuffs, fun leather “ribbons” hanging from the belt - and the belt itself.

The skirt part is resizeable, and it was easy to fit the belt to my narrow waist.

Good leather pants, excellent boots with a brilliant quick-resize menu (six buttons, from XS to XXL, plus “bigger” and “smaller”).

What else? Open-knuckle fingerless gloves, and a wiiiiiide-open corset style top with lace bra cups, and a lovely necklace.. I swear, all you need is hair and you look like a million bucks.

If Blood is too cheerful and bright-colored for you, Death Rose is also available in Dark ;)

We were lured to a new store by a note card offering a first look at gorgeous leather clothing for Dommes and subs.

They had us by the leather, some of you might know Mistress has a little thing for leather.

The store is big and offer a wide variety of clothing, female and male clothing alike, with a mainly black theme, so what’s not to like.

So get into your walking boots and give the shop a look, i’m sure you’ll find something you’ll like, even if it’s just the lucky chairs or the midnight madness.

Neurolab - Xtrema Boots Fetish Edition

Introducing the Xtrema Boots from Neurolab - Fetish Edition yet. Hey, they had our name on them, we had to cover them!

Regular readers will note the resemblance with the Ultimate boots we featured in February.

Seriously, these are V2 ready, and the lure of no more invisiprims may one day get me using the cursed thing.

There is a simple menu in these that let you: change the color of the heels from aluminium to black, change the color of the straps (there are 11 colors), resize the boots, change the sound level and finally an option to remove the script.

The belts and the locks are fun, we went for the trusted black and red, but you should try the yellow and black.. gave me the sudden urge to buzzz from flower to flower. *winks*

The boots have a simple RLV locking script which lets your owner lock them on you.

In the pack you will find a nice little extra, a footshape that lifts you an extra couple of centimeters of the ground, for those sims where you sink into the ground.
