Deirdre Alisha Ultsch introduced us to a remarkable latex lady a while back, and we became fast friends.
She’s a devoted latex lover in RL as well as a D/s lifestyle person. We hit it off immediately, and had the most remarkably thoughtful conversations I’ve had in Second Life.
I was happily surprised to run into her at POC the other day.. wearing a gorgeous Latex Web Inc. kimono!
Now she went all out and got traditional oiran hair to go with it, but that’s just how she is :)
I wasn’t going to let a wonderful occasion like that pass, so I invited her to the studio (she went “whoo...unremitting white!”) under false pretenses (“...if you have two minutes”) and we had a wonderful visit and chat, and I snapped a bunch of pictures I was pretty happy with.
She enjoyed our pose stand, was gracious and patient throughout the shoot, and even published some of the pictures in her own blog .
So I’m very happy to show you these lovely pictures of my new friend Latexladyll Galicia, and I hope you’ll enjoy them too.
lelo After last weeks post on Darkadia it’s high time to show you one of the products that got us noticing the sim in the first place.
The latex kimono is a great mix of prim and cloth-layer parts, with 11 parts in all.
All you have to bring yourself is a skin, shape and preferable black hair.
I like the look of the big bow on the back of the obi, the shine on it is perfect.
The Geta’s are not really my taste, but they do complete the outfit in a very Japanese way.
The thing i really love are the Kanzashi, they are just such a big part of the RP going on on Darkadia.
So read the Michael Manning books, get this outfit and start enjoying the scene at Darkadia.
Deirdre Two standards with Latex Station’s inimitable spin on them, the naughty nurse and sexy nun : I’m wearing Lala Nun, and lelo Ichi Nurse. The names? You’ll have to ask Chill3 ;)
Lala is entirely v1, no tattoo layers or related surprises. The bust part is probably meant for your bustier nun, it rides a bit low on me.
The headdress is neat, and gives a bit of a space-helmet effect. I’m wearing it without hair (and you can count on the fingers of your left hand the minutes I have spent without hair these last three years ;)
The stockings are footless, so you’ll need to supply your footwear (or apply to Mother Superior, I suppose). The texture suggests Chanel’s famous quilted leather - no vow of poverty for *this* nun ;)
The daily cheapie sale is still on at Latex Station, by the way.. don’t forget to drop by.
lelo
As we did some superhero costumes last night, we though we should stick to the theme and give you some more costumes tonight.
I think Ivonne and Chill had some fun making these outfits, they are extremely fun in my book.
The Nurse outfit comes in the usual high quality latex we know from Latex Station. The color combination is great i just love the combination of red, black and white.
You get 3 prim items in the kit, the lovely little nurses cap, a matching belt with a pair of massive syringes and a third syringe to be held in your hand.
Only thing not in the kit are boots, so i hope you have a pair you can use. *smiles*
So all you space nurses out there, your new outfit is ready and can be picked up at Latex Station.
Deirdre Our friend and freelance fetish shopper (and yes, we’ll have more to tell you about that soon!) Diaperedpet Jewell introduced us to SuperKara Kline, the owner of SuperStuff.
Regular readers know I love my heroines, and it didn’t require too much Kryptonian arm-twisting to convince us to run a few of new nice designs : I’m wearing Carol, the Ms Marvel-inspired costume, and lelo is wearing Emma, the White Queen from X-Men.
Carol is a faithful rendition of the recent-ish Ms Marvel from Dark Reign (go look it up!) and and Emma is a good adaptation of the classic White Queen, with the collar borrowed from the more recent books.
The observant reader will recognize the Gotham skyline. (We just had to have a rooftop shot!)
Drop by SuperStuff and see all the fun outfits (neko versions, too!)... then go save the world in style.
lelo You might have noticed that we love to do some heroines now and again, especially Mistress has a thing for them.
One of the costumes she still wanted was MS. Marvel, so when Pet showed her the new costume by SuperKara, she was sold.
For me we took Emma, aka Emma Frost aka the white queen, as it would look good with my hair and blue eyes.
The outfit comes with lovely fluffy shoulder-pads, a snow white cape, lovely gloves and thigh high stocking/boots. The corset with it’s prim bow looks great.
Only thing letting this outfit down are the nurses safety shoes, but then i’m sure you’ll have some nice white boots to take care of that, seems Bax has some very nice white ones. *smiles*
So time to save the world and get into these super low price outfits.
Christmas is coming, and with it, the time of year you hear Christmas songs on the radio so much, that by the time Christmas is here, you just want to bury the radio.
In a bunker. Under 10 feet of concrete. In another country.
But at this time of year, you also get to see lots of reindeer about. And SL is no exception. Which means it is time to dust off my reindeer outfit, and roam SL.
Looking like a cross between a ponygirl and a reindeer.
You don't see many ponygirl/reindeer in SL. So, here are is me, all reindeer'd up so that you can, should you be insane enough to want to pull Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve.
First up, is the wonderful Latex Reindeer set from Kayliwulf. Complete with tail and antlers, and worn with the Morbid Play hooves and bridle in this pic.
The Harness is named Wild by *SS*.
The nose was something made a while ago by someone, just as a joke, but I liked it, and kept it.
Mesmerise Dungeon also make a latex reindeer set, and is well worth a look.
Complete with Antlers, a nose, nipple bells and a cute fluffy tail, this set is a worthy alternative to the Kayliwulf one.
For both sets, I have used the Reindeer Collar from "It Burns" which includes both chest and spine version, and has a sleigh bell jingle when you walk.
I am sure there are other reindeer sets out there which pony girls could utilise just as well to give Rudolph a break this year.
Deirdre A cool free Mrs Claus outfit from SM Design, this is Latex X-mas Wife.
Freebies vary in quality, but I think even simple ones can be appreciated.
This timely seasonal outfit should bring a good number of people to the SM Design store.
The clothes layer skirt is quite well done. How Sub did it, I don’t know, but it doesn’t make lelo’s behind bulge as much as they usually do.
So get a reindeer sleigh - or a pony cart! - and get ready to spread good cheer to everyone this season ;)
lelo Continuing or seasonal outfits with the best kind of gear, a freebie. *smiles*
You get a 8 piece outfit in the box, from a good textured latex dress, gloves and stockings to fluffy cuffs and the mandatory Santa hat.
The collar has a nicely sculpted zipper, which runs down most of the front of the dress.
At this price i wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of then around a Christmas party, when you get this outfit be kind and give the shop a look, you never know what you will find.
Deirdre We featured some nOd outfits that were modeled at the Latex Fetishwear Fashion Week, and we’d been meaning to drop by the store forever. (I’m sure we’ll get around to seeing everything one day - it’ll just take a while.)
So. This is Perfect Maid, by Nisei Oh Designs, or nOd, Or it may be Maid 03. You’re smart, you’ll find it ;) It’s a cool, several-notches-past-naughty, black and white maid outfit.
It’s either a flagship product or Nisei is really proud of it, cause it’s also pictured on her landmark.
It’s also her latest release. And there’s a 10m picture of it facing the landing zone at her clean, stylish main store.
lelo This maids costume goes from naughty to .. well a little bit less naughty aka not entirely naked. *winks*
You get 22 items in the box, a good mix between prims and cloth layer.
Most of the cloth layer items are provided in all available layers, you get 3 choices of tops, open, heart shaped pasties and the “closed” version i’m wearing.
There are stockings with a nice shine which you can wear with or with-out garters.
The prim items give the outfit life and work great with the cloth layers.
The skirt and apron take a bit of work to get right and if the head band has a tendency to be swallowed by the hair but nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of work and a good pose stand.
Only thing not included in the kit are shoes, but i’m sure most of you will have a good selection, in not follow this lead.
Sexy little outfit, i’m sure you won’t get much house work done wearing this, but i guess that’s the point of it.
Deirdre This is a unique piece. Latex Princess, by House of Alisha, is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
If a period dress was made of light folds of black latex, catching the light in eye-dazzling reflections, this is how it would look.
The veils are also impressive. When they’re all worn, it’s difficult to make out the wearer.
This said, Latex Princess would make the most amazing fetish wedding dress. If anyone buys it for that reason, please, please call me, I want to attend.
Alisha is famous for animated automatons wearing her beautiful dresses (and following you around the store, go try the demos!), and two are included as options with this dress.
They’re called ladies in waiting, and they add a certain solemn je ne sais quoi to the dress.
Definitely visit the huge, impressive store. You’ll remember the visit :)
lelo
Lets just start with saying, wow i’ve seen churches smaller than this dress.
And when you think the look of this dress is impressive, wait till you seen the scripting that has gone into it.
But for now back to the dress, you get 22 items in the kit, including the two ominous looking ladies in waiting. Yes those two are prims you can wear.
The entire outfit adds 9222 to your avatar rendering cost, so when you get married in this one i hope the guests are naked. *winks*
And now the scripting, which is in the main skirt, it offers all kinds of head, arm and body positions.
You also get a bunch of animations, from all kinds of greetings, curtseys, hugs and kisses, to facial expressions.
But the best thing is the follow mode in which you can select a person your dress will follow, great fun, hope she will make an RLV version of this dress, it would be a hot seller i’m sure.
Deirdre Hybridz is most famous for their slave doll outfits, so when we saw this domme outfit, we just had to run it. This is the Dominatorz Latex Enforcer, and police brutality never looked so good ;)
First thing that struck me was the number of included bits : I’m wearing 16 items, with nothing in my hands (spray or vibe) and not counting the included shape. Impressive!
I particularly like the mirror shades, I’ve been wanting a pair for ages. And the cap is a classic, very good shape to it.
This is a complete outfit you can drop on Ruth and make a wicked police domme, for quite a low price.
The red is a new release, so if your security force needs a change of look, this is your chance.
lelo Great new outfit by Hybridz, there are 20 items in the box so enough to enough to fill your attachment points to the limit.
You’ll get a good looking latex catsuit, i’m wearing the red one in case you can’t tell one blond from another. *winks*
You also get a matching pair of boots with some dangerous looking pointy tips on them.
But the thing that really stands out is the cap, i guess that”s the thing that got Mistress attention in the first time.
As usual there is the old hair vs cap troubles in SL but the resizing script, which is in all the prims, works very good, so you can get it all to fit pretty good.
The spray effect on the hand held pepper spray is fun and the punishment with the vibe is...well.. ehhh.. punishing... *smiles*
In case you don’t want to spend time fitting the outfit you’ll get a shape that fits all the items, smart but the resize scripts work well enough to make adapting the prims easy enough for every one.
So get over to Hybridz and start enforcing the latex law...
Deirdre: Continuing our Hallowe’en theme, this is a sexy nurse outfit.. well, for some of us ;)
This is the General Nurse outfit, from Rubber Kittens. It’s a pretty striking look, especially with the eyepieces.
The ball hands are semi-transparent. No reason they shouldn’t be, I suppose, but it’s the first time we see this.
The rest of the outfit is midnight black and bright red.
Little red crosses here and there and the nurse cap testify that you’re a rubber nurse, qualified to administer the long list of “medical” treatments that generally require tubes of some sort ;)
As you can see from the vendor pic below, the outfit is available in black/red and white/red.
lelo: As usual this is a full outfit by Rubber Kittens, including a skin and shape.
you get 23 items in all, of with the jugs are the item that stands out the most. *winks*
Another fun item is the cap which comes with 4 different colored pony tails, you can choose black, blond, brunette and red. I hope one of those matches you hair color.
The other thing that comes in two color options are the pants, here you get red or black.
All the prim parts come with a good working re-size script, which can delete itself when it’s no longer needed, as all the parts are copy i would advice you to delete the script when done.
The boots are simple but work with this outfit and have sound and an AO.
The goggles and gag-ball give you a alien look, good for some SF role-playing.
Fun outfit for a beginner on SL or if you want a complete different look for a well lets say Halloween party. *smiles*
Deirdre: A fun variation on a full face hood, this is AI Tech’s Anime Head.
This is for kigurumi fans : a special variety of cosplay getting more popular with doll enthusiasts in Japan, and slowly spreading across the world as Japanese cartoons and comics become more popular.
And just so you don’t think we’re getting lazy and letting Wikipedia do all our research for us, here’s a pretty anime maid costume. We take kinks seriously over here, ok? ;)
We know doll play is a popular topic in SL, even though the doll crowd is a little... quiet? static? inactive? Well, no matter : to them, those are good things!
So if a Japanese cartoon character costume sounds like a fun Halloween idea to you, drop by AiTech’s and pick up this inexpensive mask, and have fun!
lelo: When we talked to Asami she told us that the head was “the most modder-friendly head in Second Life”.
So when i wore it i was a bit disappointed with the options in the menu, here you can change the eye color, look happy or mad, change the skin tone and blush.
But when i read the note things became clear, this is not menu modding this is texture and script modding, the head is full moddable, from texture to scripts all can be changed.
Asami even provides links to the original Photoshop and GIMP images, so you can adapt them to your personal likings.
Finally when talking in locale chat the true genius of this mask becomes clear, the mouth animation is very good and convincing.
This mask is extremely fun, not sure if i’m going to mod it, but i’m sure we’ll have some fun with it anyway. *winks*
Deirdre: A fun new release from Kayliwulf, this is Carnivale - a creation of dear Daphne, this time.
Well, Laz can’t be the only one with good ideas ;)
This can be a bunch of different costumes, from goth to burglar - add a mask and you’re there.
The implants are optional, of course - lelo didn’t model them in this shoot.. no, I kid, my sweetie needs a little artificial assistance to look this curvy.
Good thing they’re not vertical stripes, huh? ;)
lelo: Beetlejuice... Beetlejuice... Beetlej.. oops... that would have put us in a whole lot of trouble..
Halloween is on it’s way and as usual Kayliwulf is the first to bring a themed outfit.
Its a 13 piece outfit and comes with a implant applicator, did we ever tell you how easy that works? A blond bimbo can work these things and not even break a nail while doing it. *winks*
I just love the skirt as you may know, and the corset and fingerless gloves are fun as well.
But the thing that really makes this outfit is the striped catsuit, it will make you stand out in a crowd.
Deirdre: You have the right to remain sexy. Everything you wear will be held closely against you.
Ok, that was easy, but I had to do it ;)
Introducing Police Catsuit Black from Danish Design, a detailed outfit with some excellent prim accessories, like the belt, cap, tie, shirt sleeves and collar.
A note about the collar : it comes ready to be worn on “spine2”. Now I’m old fashioned, and I only have one of those, so the collar floated somewhere off to my left.
I detached, attached it to chest, and after a bit of editing, positioned it properly for that sexy uniform look.
The cap is a bit tricky, as are all hats. My hair is Sirena’s “Seduction”, and works pretty well with it, if you don’t mind the bun sticking out a bit.
The top and bottom are in all layers, although I can’t see wearing anything over this cool outfit. A long leather coat, maybe?
lelo: A new copper is in town and she means business.. *smiles*
Here is proof that Danish Design isn’t only about pretty dresses, but that she surely deserves a place in this blog.
Even though the BAX boots are in both our as the vendor picture they aren’t part of the kit...really they are not... sorry.. i know they look great with the outfit.. but they’re not with the kit.. so live with it....or just buy them at BAX... .though being a reader of this blog i’m sure you already have them in all colors..
Now if i only could swipe that little key of her belt.... *winks*
The dream to awaken our world... Aeon: You’re out of control Trevor: I take control Trevor: Whose side are you on? Aeon: I take no side Trevor:You’re skating the edge Aeon:I am the edge
Deirdre: A gorgeous new outfit from Graves, this is Resistance, and nobody does the spy theme better.
I’m only wearing 14 of the 27 parts of this outfit. Some are layers, but it is in fact quite intricate.
The barcode tattoo just isn’t me, and the optional dress part looks like slave silks to me.. and we all know that's not Aeon’s style.
That’s right, this outfit is a very, very good homage to Aeon Flux.
Click our Graves label to see the retrospective of excellent spy outfits we featured over the months.. then drop by the store or have a peek on XStreet.
lelo: On one of our usual shopping trips we had a look if Jackie had come up with something new.
And ones again she didn’t disappoint us, Resistance immediately caught our eye.
The quote from Aeon Flux Mistress knew by heart so i guess she’s a bit of a fan, knowing her probably from the original cartoon.
Only downside is the lack of shoes with this one, but then i guess she only wore wedged shoes in the film, still hard to find those in SL.
All in all a very sexy outfit and spot on, so get out your black wig and RESIST... *winks*
Wed 2011-11-09 : Mecha informs us the Galaxy Dolly is no longer sold.
Deirdre: Here’s a treat for the doll lovers out there.. yes yes, we know you’re there even if you don’t say much.
This is Galaxy Dolly, by Mech-Toys. Once again, we got a nice interview with the designer and scripter (or as he puts it, code monkey), and we were pretty flattered to hear that they both knew the blog.
Galaxy Dolly is a full kit, everything included, and dolls will love the shape and wind-up key.
A fun related item caught my eye at Mech-Toys : the power-up oil can dispenser, which powers up a doll as if she had got her key wound up.
A fun outfit, with lots of roleplay possibilities. Strike the pose!
lelo: With all the barbie outfits we have shown you over the, wow it’s years i guess, we never gave you the “real” barbie doll.
So it was high time and with Mech-toys you get the real deal, we picked the Galaxy Dolly because it’s one of her newest designs and we liked the look. *winks*
This is a complete AV in a box, you get everything too..hmm.. make your dolly come life. Sounds like a RP theme to me. *smiles*
The jointed doll skin is the best i’ve seen in SL till now, very impressive.
The clothes are a nice mix of cloth-layer and prims bringing it all to life. Well as much as you can expect with a doll.
Next to all the visual items there is the, lets say RLV, item the doll key, doll keys are a pretty big part of doll play.
The Mech-Toys one is based on the open collar script and comes with a plug in for your collar in case you don’t want to have they key on your back.
So run and get your favorite doll outfit and make sure your key doesn’t run down on a deserted sim.
Deirdre: I love an excuse to wear a cape.. and the best one in the world has to be superheroine outfits.
Introducing Tandael’s Omnisuit and OmniBodysuit, two awesome kits of a hundred million parts each.. seriously, it kicked my inventory into the next thousands ;)
All the parts are clothes layers, and all are copy - mix and match being the very *point* of this kit, you’ll want to make copies and save them as outfits, for those quick changes in phone booths.
While the OmniBodysuit can be worn alone (by your more invulnerable or exhibitionistic heroines), it works awesomely well as a set of extra parts over the Omnisuit (that’s the bodysuit in our third pic).
When we visited his shop - and got a wonderful introduction to the Omni line - we also got a preview of Tandael’s next project, matching body armor.. Iron Man fans should definitely keep an eye out.
lelo: Ok, so we like our superheroines, but then whats not to like about skintight spandex, high heels and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, though personally i could do with out the last one. *winks*
Now about the Omnisuit, the idea is so simple i bet very designer is thinking; “why didn’t i....”, still most brilliant ideas are inherently simple.
You take all the cloth layers and make the lowest the biggest and each layer above smaller so you can see parts of the layers below.
That’s the first step, second you make a nice texture which brings the suit to live, aka the fun sewing lines and highlights.
Make the base color white and allow the owner to change the color in the appearance options.
A last smart little thing, all the items are copy so you can make little folders and copy the parts you need into them and make a special outfit for each event.
So get over there and make your own superhero costume.
Ohh, accessories and lovely Bax/PixelFashion boots not included. *winks*
Deirdre: A nice charity donation opportunity this week, this is the South Africa (modeled by lelo) and Haiti (worn by yours truly, at the left of the pic), and I'm proud to say I made my little donation.
As you see in the vendor pic, all proceeds from the sales of the Haiti outfit go to the Red Cross's relief effort.
A little note : the Kayliwulf gift cards are not eligible for this purchase. It has to be cold hard Linden dollars.. um, digital and ethereal Linden dollars ;)
About the outfits themselves : as a certain sweetheart model pointed out, they look pretty similar to beach volleyball outfits... accessorize with Arnold shades and you're there!
Don't hesitate to stop by the Red Cross web site, and donate if you're feeling generous.
lelo: These uniforms come in both layers, top and bottom, making it a 4 pieces in the kit.
Next to these two you can get all the other big nations in the world cup, though be warned Laz uses the national flag as a uniform.
Note to designer: to boost sales have a good look at the national uniforms and what the fans are wearing, for instance the Dutch wear orange not red, white and blue. *smiles*
Still i love the idea and doing some good with a SL purchase is never a bad thing, so get on over to the store and spend, spend, spend.. *winks*
Deirdre: Sometimes we follow an item to a store, and find a better one.. that's half the fun of this little project of ours, finding the cool and unexpected treasures.
We had noted to look up Nicky Ree's store for some good-looking boots, but when I saw this outfit, I wanted it instantly.
Was it the cape? Definitely. But the excellent colors, and cool chest letter didn't hurt.
So here I am, mild-mannered blogger by early evening, and caped crusader with a lightning D on my chest by night.
The gadget belt comes with a spray can, so I apparently have graffiti powers of some kind. Cool :)
I think all it needs is a good mask - sadly we've found that they're quite rare.
There's a male version of the suit, and I should mention that the letters are a separate purchase from the suit.
I'll get you, Catwoman!
lelo: We'll continue last nights super heroine's theme with the Dynamic League F suit from Nicky Ree.
The outfitt comes complete with prim boots, belt and cape and a hand held spraycan.
The five layers give the cape an nice full look and she did a great job on the flex settings, making them flow nicely.
The use of lightblue, dark blue and black on the catsuit is great and what's not to love about the big D on Mistress chest.
Remind me to ask Nicky about the spray can... *smiles*
Deirdre: A detailed and authentic Catwoman look from Batman Returns, this is The Cat Skin from Powers of Creations.
It's available in multiple colors (chocolate, cyan, gray, green, orange, pink, red, skyblue, violet, white, yellow, blood, blue and black), so I guess that - I know, you saw it coming a mile away - there's more than one way to skin a cat ;)
The mask is very good, and the pale skin and heavy makeup are faithful to the movie.
The seams remind us that anyone with an old PVC raincoat and a sewing machine can make a Catwoman outfit. Sigh. I want to be in the movies.
The original Catwoman outfit was designed by Syren Latex of Los Angeles, and was displayed in 2008 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC for the "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" exhibit.
Here's a cool montage of Catwoman scenes. The music is a bit loud, you may want to turn it down to zero or so ;)
lelo:
It's been a while since we had the lovely shine of POC latex in our blog, so it was high time to correct that.
Well the good news is, the shine is just as lovely as it always was, in my opinion the best shining latex in SL, in RL you would have to polish like mad to get a shine like this.
Like the name says you get a skin, or actually, you get 4 of them: 2 hoods-only and 2 full skins, one of each with the lovely stitches.
There is the usual downside too the fact that its a skin, you'll lose your own "face", but we can't blame a designer for SL's short comings.
The ears are a fun little extra that completes the outfit, giving you the look of the only real catwoman, well she was to me.. *winks*
