Plausible Body - French Maid

I must live in Serendip. I called Roslyn to say hi as it had been a while since we did anything Plausible (my life is so implausible that you just wouldn’t believe it.)

Lo, a new French Maid outfit had just come out recently. Turns out she’s a maid outfit fanatic, as she says - fun!

Roslyn had an idea that it wouldn’t sell so well at Latexia so it wasn’t at her stall there. I told her that all rubberdolls have a secret French Maid heart - we’ll see if sales confirm my theory ;)

The outfit is really lovely, and quite detailed - lots of fun little prim parts to adjust, and I’ll admit I missed the coif but I’m feeling lazy and I’m not re-shooting.

The shoes will only work with a v2 viewer, unless you feel adventurous and add an invisiprim to them yourself - they *are* mod.

As with other Plausible Body items, the outfit is open::price, which means you pay what you can. And as with their other items, there’s some very good work here, so I’ll encourage you to be generous.

Well seems i somehow drew the short straw again and ended up nearly naked, still the real news is Mistress in a maid's dress. *winks*

As you can see, the outfit comes in a living room and bedroom version, still both are sexy as hell.

The clean clothlayer parts are enhanced with 8 frilly prims, giving the outfit just the right French look.

You get two dusters in the pack, one scripted with 4 cleaning animations the other is a lag-friendly scriptless version.

So if you need a maid for the living room and the bedroom this kit is for you, and be kind when you pay, she did put a lot of work into it.

A fun ad we saw go by on Fetish Consolidated brought us to Mech-Toys for their latest release, the simply-named XToy.

This complete avatar should be of interest to all dolls, toys, gynoids, and assorted artificial people aficionados in SL - no small crowd, although we didn’t show a lot of doll products lately.

If you like buttons, joysticks, arrowpads, bleeps, bloops, cables, access panels, and other things that make technophiles’ hearts beat faster, this is definitely a toy you should investigate.

The price is high, but hey, if you love toys, that has never stopped you, right? ;)

Don’t worry it’s still me, but this is like the box says a full AV, elongated neck and all. *smiles*

Full AV means everything you see here, including one of Mecha’s famous jointed doll skins.

The heart of this outfit is the built-in DVD player, which uses the Open Collar scripts as a base, so i won’t go into those functions as i’m sure most of you wear or own wearers of this system.

There is an Dolly button that leads to the remote, wind and power check options.

The remote option lets you control your dollies movement, with wind you can bring life to your dolly and the power check.. well.. it checks the remaining power of your dolly.

Still it’s a fun change from the usual collars and goes great with the overall theme.

Ohh, beware : this dolly has a build in run time of 30 minutes before it winds down and comes to a screeching halt.

Looks like Mecha stripped her game controller for parts of this outfit, i just love the joystick headband and the RCA connectors trailing out of your back.

Like Mistress says, delightful toy that makes all the right noises...

Purrfect 10 - Halloween Black Widow Heels

“Hello darling, it’s me Deirdre, Mistress of the dark...” Well, Elvira I’m not, but this Hallowe’en nobody can say I didn’t make an effort ;)

The delicate little critters climbing on the lovely sandals by Purrfect 10 give them their name, Black Widow Heels.

They’re a total steal at 99L$ if spiders don’t give you the heebie-jeebies (black widow, brown recluse, funnel-web.. don’t get me started.)

Amusing anecdote: I had the skin color set perfectly, then used a fun Sirena hair trick, “/2 color black” to see if my usual blonde locks could be made to match the Mistress of the Dark look.

Well guess what? The shoes heard the command and turned black. Aaaagh! ;)

So, Deirdre free tip of the week: once you’ve matched the shoes to your own skin color, make note of the color, kiddies. (That’s the six numbers in the Texture color picker: RGB plus Hue, Saturation and Luminosity. Mine are 220 141 101, 20 63 63... that may give you a starting point.)

Naughty N Nice - Rubber Warrior

Naughty and Nice’s ventured into fetishwear, and Nikita was kind enough to beep us and let us know.

This fun spiky outfit is called Rubber Warrior, and sells for the low low price of 50L$ until October 31st.

It’s made of a lot of fun prim parts and a very good shiny catsuit. A semi transparent version is included, but honestly, I prefer the opaque stuff.

There are spikeless cuffs, and you don’t have to wear the cloak and assorted spiky bits, but really, what’s the fun in that? Just be careful hugging friends and you’ll be fine ;)

The boots are controlled by a very nice HUD panel, and come with a v2 alpha layer, which means I had to slap on my POC invisiprims.

I love my boots tight, and that means a realistic shape fitting my legs - I had to make these a little big to fit me.

Still a good outfit for the price.. hurry and get it before Hallowe’en :)

Here we go again, there really should be someone who controls all these sharp clothing items or rubber dolls will be an endangered species.

Considering the price this is an amazing outfit, the shine is very good and the added prims really enhance the entire outfit.

And imagine for this money, she even throws in the matching boots, how's that for great value.

Seems Nikita is serious about breaking into the fetish market and with offers like this she should find her niche pretty quickly, we’ll keep you posted.

Vengeful Threads - Witching Hour

We’re starting Hallowe’en early with a cool dark evil queen of the night outfit - or, if you’re a goth, I suppose this is like a t-shirt and jeans ;)

This was a Fetish Consolidated find.. we look at the ads and bring you the stuff we love best - sort of reverse spam!

Witching Hour is a versatile outfit. In the front pose here, you see me wearing it without the shoulder pieces, and wearing them in the rear shot.

There’s a fair bit of black on black going there, but that’s the look. I like the lace front top, but there’s a bare chest version if you want to entice the vampire boys.

This is a complete outfit except for shoes. Good black heels aren’t too rare in SL so that shouldn’t be a big problem.

We were greeted by a really friendly sales person, a plus I’m really starting to appreciate in big stores. Lelo was right again ;)

The dress has a very nice asymmetrical design showing off your right leg in a big way.

The feather like ends of both the dress and cape with its grey highlights give it extra life.

Danish Design - Nurse Dress

We dropped by Danish Design and saw Pip dialing our number.. seriously, she was just about to call us to show us her cool new Nurse Dress.

This is a complete outfit except for shoes. Feel free to complement with your favorites : lelo’s pink VvB shoes might turn heads in an OR, but they’ll just help in any “best nurse” contest ;)

The accessories really make this outfit. I love the stethoscope, but some of the others are a little.. ominous.

The textures are also very good. White is hard to shoot for us, usually - I was expecting lelo to vanish like a white cat in a blizzard, but the white pic turned out fine.

But seriously this outfit comes packed with all kinds of goodies, you get the mandatory stethoscope, a syringe, injection gun, a nurses cap and a very good looking mouth mask, in short everything you need for hours of RPing fun.

The uniform itself comes in two versions, one open en one closed shirt version, Pip did add a couple of pasties for that little bit of modesty.

As all good designers these days she added all available layers to the clothing and a simple if efficient skirt prim.

Red Devil - Cleavage Catsuit and Bumble Bee

Some fun new releases from Red Devil this week : the Cleavage Catsuit, and Bumble Bee.

Dementia also sent us the Sheer N Hot body, but we’re running out of room here, so you get it as vendor pic only (although it's very nice).

You’ll be amazed by the number of parts in Bumble Bee, as it comes in several versions - lelo explains it really well ;) It’s a fun outfit, and with Hallowe’en coming, it may win you a few costume contests.

The Cleavage catsuit has some really great reflections. In the colors, you get the feeling of transparent colored latex not touching the skin quite everywhere.

Note that the nipples are pretty prominent, so you’ll want to think about wearing something more on non-adult sims. Covers are hinted to be in the works ;)

The nice long black gloves are included with Cleavage, but not the boots, so I dug my nice old Kayliwulf strapped ones out of the closet... a good match.

Bumble Bee is a fun little outfit for those themed parties, though i’m sure that the average fairy will love the wings and i just adore the little stinger.

You get 3 choices in the package, black on color, color on black and only a harness in color, the color being one of the following: black, baby blue, blue, neon green, baby pink, pink, teal, silver, red and purple.

You get all the layers so you can mix and match them with your favorite catsuits, corsets or jackets.

The catsuit comes in the same colors as the Bumble Bee and offers you the option to go bare breasted, sorry no picture of that one guys, or not and it, once again, comes in all layers.

The reflections look great and i just love the white border around the tear shaped cutout.

In both cases, batteries.. ehh boots not included, just so you are warned.

Edelweiss - Marchen

Edelweiss seems to be the must-have for the maid set : the store is fairly devoted to maid and related outfits.

Just add cat ears and you can work in any café in Japan, judging by animés ;)

I like the wide variety of colors available for this outfit. Victorian England was big on dark colors, but there’s room for a little pastel in Second Life.

The price is really low for such good work, either singly or in the fatpack.

When you visit the store, make sure to detour by the ground and see the extraordinary Mont Saint-Michel abbey. I’m not a big tourist but I was blown away by the sheer size of the thing, as well as the level of detail.

Third maids uniform this week, a more romantic option by Edelweiss.

Again a great combination of cloth and prim items, including shoes for a change.

This is also the first one this week with a prim skirt and “real” petticoats, the apron is part of the skirt so no need to adjust it to the skirt.

Seems Moeka makes her uniforms for the more utilitarian maids of SL, the outfit even comes with underpants, talk about utilitarian. *winks*

The shoes are made for housework and can’t be called very sexy, but fit the outfit great.

It comes in 10 colors or you can get the fatpack which contains the extra white version and saves you 400 ls.

This one has a little girls feel to it so you better watch your AV height or you might be banned from some sims.

Latex Web Inc. - Latex Maid

After the strictly utilitarian uniform of KDC, here’s a naughty rubber maid, Latex Web style.

The inflatable ball hands are more suited to bondage bunnies than domestic help; same with the transparent catsuit exposing the breasts.

You get a choice of a skirt with a cloth apron and a prim bow, or you can wear the full prim apron : both leave the tush exposed so you can easily motivate a lazy maid.

A nice garter belt connects to the lace-up padlocked ballet boots... This is a lovely upstairs maid outfit.

Ok here’s maid number 2 and this is quite a sexy version, as you might expect from Latex Web Inc.

The clothing offers you some nice mix and match options, like a transparent catsuit, long gloves, a corset, garter belt and some good looking bed boots, all in shiny latex.

Where the kanzashi makes it easy to hang your laundry, the slave mitts don’t help when trying to do your cleaning.

In case you don’t go for that Japanese look, you can wear a lovely little hair ribbon instead of the hair sticks.

The included ballets are of a simple but fun design and are RLV lockable just like the mitts, that’s the way to keep your maid on her toes.

Ohh.. don’t any maids wear undies? This time the included underpants are transparent, go figure...

KDC - Kokoro Maids Uniform

Lelo had a fun idea for this week : a special on maid uniforms.

It led to some interesting shopping and we met some neat people along the way; I think this is not a bad way to discover Second Life.

Lelo will do most of the describing and details, so let me start with Bound Maid Manor, which we found in our travels.

The Manor offers a 10-level training program for maids, including lots of RLV bondage and servitude. Detailed notecards explain the duties and rules applying to maids who join.

This is no naughty-maid sex play; the uniforms are expected to cover everything at all times.

Which brings me to KDC’s Kokoro. Any less naughty than that and you have to start thinking about nuns habits and burlap ;)

It’s a classic and I see no reason it can’t be around for many years to come.

Hit Bound Maid Manor in your KDC and start cleaning!

To kick off our maids week, an oldie but goodie.

I think this uniform has been around longer then most of us, but in my humble opinion it’s still one of the best in SL.

It’s a good combination of cloth layer and prim clothing, and one of the few where the SL skirt works, giving the feel of loads of petticoats.

Just love the way the prim parts bring the skirt to life, especially the splash of red from the bow makes this one pop.

There are two caps included so that they don’t interfere with your hair, very smart and considerate.

Take some time to adjust the prims to your AV. Kyrah builds to Japanese sizes, so it took me a few minutes to get everything to fit just right, but it was worth it.

Just add some good shoes and you can start your dusting.

Ohh one little tip, there is no underwear included and the skirt leaves quite a bit of peeking room, so better beware.

VirToys - Bizarre Maid

This is one of lelo’s finds.. when my sweetie goes on a shopping expedition, one never knows what she’s going to find, but it’s not usually boring ;)

As I may have said before, anyone doing a daily report is under a bit of pressure to deliver, and slow news weeks are rough.

Sometimes we have so many good things to show you, we have to schedule them for weeks in advance.

Other times, we look at each other on Sunday and go, oops, the drawers are empty... hence the shopping expeditions.

The Bizarre Maid is a blast from the past for us.. I think lelo had that in 2008. Finding it available for sale again was so neat, we couldn’t resist.

Ok, for me this is a blast from the past, but i gladly dusted it off when we found a revamped version in a vendor at Virtoys.

The outfit was originally released by ShinyJohn from Darakined Resolve, but i guess he lost interest in the whole selling game.

Seems Rei picked it up, made it RLV compatible, and put it for sale at the best place for AV’s like this, Virtoys.

I really love it that she gives ShinyJohn credits for the outfit, very nice gesture.

Ok, the outfit: 14 pieces in all, including a shape. You could use your own shape, but you’ll need some time fitting all the prim parts just right.

There are ruffles, a lovely tutu style, maid’s dress and some naughty parts, like the nipples and a few bits hidden by the skirt.

The shoes work with the outfit but really show its age, so i would suggest you wear something a little more up to date.

But the best part of the outfit is the mask, one of my first in SL i think, it’s one of those mask that has a bizarre attraction, at least to me. A face that only a mistress can love. *winks*

The mask has a simple click to lock script and gives you the opportunity to gag the wearer, making it possible only to speak using the maids-channel, which replaces the speaker's name with “The maid” in chat.

Just imagine having your own group of subs fitted out like this, all going: “the maid...”

HybridZ - Latex Furry Sub

Here’s the promised review on the cool Latex Furry Sub complete kit.

I’m wearing the black - it’s kind of a moot distinction since lelo and I have the same shape, for once.

First thing you’ll notice if you’re using v1 as I am, is that the boots are v2 only. The bondage mittens also have an alpha layer - my hands show in some poses.

Get out your trusty favorite invisiprims (and go get POC’s Antilles Wedges if you don’t have any - as more designers go v2 only, you’ll hit this more often. I sure do.)

This kit comes with a detailed (900 words!) notecard. Make sure you read it to avoid surprises.

You’ll find, for instance, that “... using the Blindfold on an avatar will result in any other Alt accounts, on the same computer, also being blinded. ”

This is a fun new creation from our freshly wed couple at HybridZ, let me first congratulate Fyre and Natalie and wish them many happy years together.

LaVa - WaspSuit

We caught a glimpse of the LaVa Wasp Suit at Latexia (I think the dolls are about to make me honorary sister, I spend so much time there) and I thought, we haven’t featured LaVa in a while.. voila.

The outfit is inspired by a pretty awesome fetish drawing by Ed Mironiuk (www.edmironiuk.com, 9th row, 2nd from the left) and I say inspired because Latexania definitely put her own touches on it.

And since the original looked so good with a gas mask and ballet boots, lelo generously agreed to model it the same way. Like that took a whole lot of convincing ;)

The catsuit design is quite spectacular. The black and white segments totally convey the insect body feeling, and a clever insect-eye design on the breasts will give a headache to anyone who stares too long.

The hood looks quite good even without the gas mask, so don’t feel you need to run out and get one. This is an attractive and distinctive outfit on its own.

Dark Refuge has an inconvenient fixed landing zone, so to find the store, go almost due west. LaVa is located behind BlumenStein Enterprises.

Another catchy one tonight, this time by Latexania from LaVa.

You get 13 clothlayer items and one prim in the box, giving you all layers and 2 options for the top.

One closed like in the pictures and one with a fishnet covering, luckily Latexania supplies a pair of pasties to make things more or less PG.

The prim part is a ear cover to hide your ears sticking out of the tattoo layer mask (yay, that’s my own face under it).

The suit comes in all LaVa’s colors: pink, violet, blood, orange, white, red and yellow. Though being a waspsuit, yellow is the way to go.

The LaVa Buckled Corset comes in the same colors and is a great addition to complete the outfit.

So all you need is a stinger and you can buzz off... *winks*

Latex Web Inc. - Kitteh

Introducing Latex Web’s latest release, a fun catwoman outfit called simply Kitteh.

And as my dear friend latexladyll Galicia had just acquired one herself, I invited her to model with lelo - lady’s the one on the right.. I think.

Kitteh is quite a lovely outfit; but the bondage mitts and ballet boots (well, cutouts too, if you’re going to be finicky) definitely suggest it’s intended for the bedroom rather than the club - and no, no, the street is right out.

There’s a bit of interesting lighting (purple!) included in the ears and tail, which we turned off for the pics, but you may find it fun - mood lighting, lady called it.

I looked around but couldn’t find a Manning catgirl picture to share with you, so I hope you enjoy this double model post, which I call.. wait for it.. a tail of two kittehs.

Ok it’s back to the dark world of Michael Manning aka Darkadia and the lovely designs of Latex Web inc.

The base is a catsuit with a good dull shine and holes in all the right places, the right place to get you banned in all non-adult sims that is.

The hood is tattoo layer, sorry V1 lovers, and goes well with the rest of the outfit.

The ballets are of a simple design with fun little locks on the front and a simple locking system that it RLV compatible.

The other prims aka mitts, ears and tail don’t have any scripting, but both ears and tail have a purple light which can be turned of in the edit screen under features.

Powers of Creation - Sister Mary Latex

It’s a good thing I never got the vocation.. I just don’t look great in a wimple, and it’s absolutely not Kai’s fault. His awesome Sister Mary Latex outfit will look better on you, I promise ;)

I had a chance to chat with him recently, and he mentioned he was inspired to create the outfit when he saw a latex nun outfit that wasn’t that good, and thought “I can do better”. Well, that’s how artists’ minds work, I believe.

The result is good - and no, I don’t know what the other outfit was - and the price is quite reasonable.

The rosary and rope belt are probably terribly authentic, and they are adjustable, for that slinky nun look - oh no, wait, that’s probably a sin. Well, follow your conscience ;)

Available colors are : black, blood, chocolate, pink, red (modeled by yours truly here), rose, sky blue, violet, and white. Rainbow nuns!

So visit POC, and as Kai says, make a habit of latex :)

I really, really, really must make a skirt shape, looks like i should put warning lights on my butt.

Still that’s what you get when using the cloth layer skirts, nothing a designer can change about that, well until we finally get mesh.

Ok back to the costume, which has 12 parts including the prim rope belt, coif and veil.

The shirt, collar and glitch pants come in all layers, the white cap is tattoo layer so be warned if you haven’t made the switch to V2.

Overall the look is plain, as it should be, with the usual POC shine and lovely prim work.

Eclectic Randomness - Siren Avatar

Tron Legacy seems to have captured the heart of designers in SL.. any metaverse reference is good, I think :)

This is the Siren avatar by Eclectic Randomness : one in black and one in white (sold separately, as they say in the commercials). The neon highlight colors almost make different outfits, and I wanted to show some of the variety here.

They’re pretty realistic, if you don’t look at the footwear, but I think Winter’s boots are more fun.

I found a large picture featuring the white Siren character, and I just had to share it with you.

Hey, maybe someone will make a light cycles game in SL.. how cool would that be? :)

The Siren is a full V2 avatar, and comes with everything you need for your SL, well almost, sadly no partner included. *winks*

Like i said you get everything, from skin, shape and Ruth hair-cover to boots, catsuit and back pack.

All in all 23 parts in the smartly disappearing box, i just love that little, rezz, give contents, disappear, act of Winters boxes.

Ok, back to the outfit, the hair and skin, especially the make up look spot on to me. You get auburn, ebony platinum, silver, snow and steel color hair in the package.

I think she has taken a few little liberties with the costume, but it looks great to me.

With the supplied HUD you can change the neon colors on the suit, there are 18 colors to choose from, and small warning here, changing the colors is almost as addictive as popping bubble wrap.

Great looking outfit, loads of fun and more addictive than those silly executive desk toys, what more could you want. *smiles*
