Nekos From Mars - Operative Series

While we’re not changing careers from bloggers to secret agents, our recent wardrobe seems to hint that we should :)

We got a friendly hello from Mars Matova asking if we were interested in reviewing his new Operative line of full outfits. A quick peek on Marketplace showed that they looked good so we agreed.

I just had no idea. This is really impressive gear!

I’m wearing most of the Cell Operative outfit in our first pic, minus only the commando-ninja mask; it did nothing good for my hair ;)

The box for C.O. held 30 parts not counting extras, of which I’m wearing 15 - lelo was a little puzzled when I said I was a overwhelmed; the other outfits are somewhat less intricate.

There’s a lot to love here. The mesh corset and excellent booties would be worth the price of admission by themselves.

Cydonian Operative, my outfit on the second pic, is much more revealing and features two-toned mesh boots, red in front and black in rear; wow them when you arrive, sneak away undetected, perhaps.

Keep an eye on Nekos from Mars - we certainly will :)

Nekos From Mars is a new shop in our list and it totally blew us over.

One of the great things with Mars's designs it that he writes a backstory for all his operatives and designs the outfit accordingly, a smart way of working i would say.

On Marketplace he tells the backstory of each design, giving you a feel of what’s involved with each operative.

Legion Operative is the outfit i wear in the first picture, according to Mars’s back story, this is the most basic and most common operative and with prices like that i can understand why.

You get the mesh corset in 8 sizes so there should be one for almost every one, the way the corset moves with your body is great.

You also get 3 different versions of the gloves, a modest version of the catsuit and the one i’m wearing here, both in underwear layer.

Finally there are a pair of great-looking booties, a prim collar and 6 alpha layers to let the corset work with different size boots and shoes.

In the second picture i’m wearing the Cyber Operative in red, there also is a blue version.

According to Mars this is a gynoid operative aka a fembot, that should bring in the dolls of SL.

This one comes with a amazing-looking circuited catsuit, the same texture is also used on the booties.

Most eye-catching is the helmet which totally works with gynoid theme.

The big prim collar and the arm blades bring the outfit further to life.

Cool quiet visit, saw much

I actually finished my first sim, and got half-way through my second one!

Most of the exhibits are really cool, a few are so puzzling as to be completely incomprehensible to me - I really wasn’t expecting that; but I’m reconciled with the idea not everyone thinks the same way I do, and it’s ok.

What I did see and love were two old friends : the Phoenix viewer exhibit, and New Citizens Inc.

Phoenix has several panels of good info, and a really stunning animated phoenix statue which catches your eye from a good distance :)

NCI.. those awesome, crazy guys built a little replica of NCI Kuula, the spot I send new residents for free classes and good information since we found them years ago.

I’m really enjoying this visit, and doing it with the idea of sharing my favorite finds with you definitely adds a little something. I never expected I’d enjoy blogging so much :)

House of Alisha - Latex Nun Autobot

Latex Nun is the latest autobot by House of Alisha. Not everything Alisha makes is fetish-related, but the fetish stuff is definitely interesting to us.

Autobots (not the Transformer kind) are “based human characters aimed to aid roleplay or entertainment sims, or for assistance in shops and so on”, according to the note by Lady Alisha.

A simple menu lets you control the basic functions of the bot : face me, come here, follow me, and so on.

The bots can also sense and greet nearby avatars; they can also be programmed to follow a path you walk while wearing a recorder (sold separately).


The Latex Nun is simply constructed, but it does what it is designed to; it’s a neat and potentially useful toy to put down in commercial spots. It’s also just one of the many bots and lovely items Alisha creates - do visit the store and see for yourself.

(Note that the nun itself is the “vendor”, and like other bots on the floor, are demo models you can play with before you buy.

Interesting little one tonight, you might remember the amazing ball gown we did a while back.

The maids of honor that were included there, have been available for some time as standalone bots.

But now Alisha made a new addition to her bots, they now have a RLV grabbing option, so when you get too close to one of these and you have an active RLV relay, you will get grabbed.

Best burglar alarm system i’ve ever seen, the victim stays locked until the owner releases them and the bot will keep working as before.

So it will greet people coming close to it, it will bow, follow... well you get the drift... and with the victim still trapped in it.

All you will see of the victim will be their head, when trapped a lovely alpha is supplied, hiding everything from the head down, also great for Halloween. All we need now is a head alpha and we can go as knight with cut off head. *winks*

This must be a dream come true for some of the dolls out there.

DXW's Creations - Gimp Doll

When we first saw the gimp doll suit at Mesmerize Dungeon, I was impressed. This is good use of mesh :)

Of course, you can’t inspect mesh, so I said hello to Genara Stromfield who was wearing it and asked her where it was from - this was actually our first contact with DXW’s.

This outfit should get the heart of all the rubber bondage dollies racing.

It covers the wearer from head to toe, eyes and mouth included; “dollies don’t have opinions”, as their ad says :)

The default black suffers from the usual problem, fading into a bit of a dark mass; but the color highlights remedy this somewhat, and switching to other shiny colors makes the gimp doll much easier to see.

You can remove the blindfold and gag, but the large breasts are bolted on, so to speak. A male version of the suit is included in the box.

So, a fun, simple outfit, giving you as much opportunity for rp as you want, and a few good RLV locking functions; keep an eye on Amelie, she’s definitely going places.

Time for a not entirely new mesh AV, but it’s so good we didn’t want to keep it from you.

As we said before Amelie is an mesh artist and she added RLV to this outfit to make is irresistible to the dollies out there.

The look is simple but good, no unnecessary frills on the outfit, well the torpedo tits could be seen as frills but they are hardly unnecessary. *winks*

For the fashion conscious dollies out there she added a color change menu to the menu, giving you a choice of 11 colors and for all the different groups of the outfit (boots, soles, trim, main and metal).

There are a number of locking and gagging options with the gimp, interaction with the gimp is somewhat limited, but that’s what being a dolly is all about. *smiles*

So great looking mesh AV, i’m curious what she will come up with next, ohh be careful not to touch the “i am dolly” button, you have been warned.

Ponka - Predatory Latex Suit

It had been so long since we featured Ponka that when I saw the store at the Sassy! mall, I thought it was a new store we had found :)

The latex is still awesome, and the new sign is big enough that I nearly missed it - I was looking for little red “new” starbursts, not a 10m section.

Predatory, then, is new :) It’s also pretty awesome, sporting some cool circuitry and assorted sci-fi-y connectors and bits.

The shine is great, the colors are good - even the transparent latex, of which I’m not usually a fan, looks good with the panels and bits.

Some new latex tonight, or better SciFi RP latex as Beponka puts it.

In the box you get all layers including the quick dress tattoo layer, only thing missing are gloves and socks.

The shine is very good giving the catsuit a nice thick rubber feel, a feeling that is enforced by the seams and folds.

The suits are covered in little hatches and circuit boards looking patches, making them perfect for doll/robot play.

The catsuit comes in black, blue, grey, purple, red, and semitransparent, so something for everyone i’m sure.

Hybridz - Micro Rubber Doll

Remember the “petite” avatars we told you were the big coming thing? Seems Hybridz agrees, as they just came out with the Micro Rubber Doll.

It’s tiny (hence the Doctor Tinycat lol this week), and to give you an idea of scale, I stood in our new Rosal boots next to the model at the store.

Giantess fetishists should have a field day with this one. There’s even a cam controller HUD to force your point of view at heel height ;)

This is a mesh avatar, so you’ll need a mesh-enabled viewer. It's full of RLV goodness, of course.

It must be a slow news day over at the Hollywood Reporter, as they’re calling girls wearing doll makeup “provocative” and “a growing concern”.

How about Lady Gaga wearing weird hats, guys? Is that “potentially dangerous” too? ;)

There have been fun makeup tip videos on YouTube for ages, and the doll look is a neat, entertaining thing - about as dangerous as cosplay, to my mind.

Eh. If it takes that silly spin to get something this cool in the news, I say do it.

Latex Web Inc. - Gwen Hood

Mariko is well-versed in the classics. This Gwen Hood by Latex Web Inc. is venerable : the original by John Willie dates to the 1950’s.

This version is improved by a long black ponytail - you don’t get the original little ribbon bow!

We had the usual black on black difficulties, so I had lelo pose in skimpier clothes than usual. I couldn’t quite pry her out of her corset, but it doesn’t interfere too much.

If you have a slave that needs hushing up, this is for you. Not that lelo talks my ear off on her best day or anything... ;)

Tonight a simple unscripted basic item that should be in every doll's wardrobe.

You get 3 items in the box, the hood, the hair tail and a note card.

The hood is in the tattoo layer so you can keep your own face, i really do like that, i kinda got used to the second me.

I do love this style of hood, but then most who know me, know i’m not much of a talker. The little high line around the opening gives it some extra depth.

The hair tail is made to look like latex not hair, which is good for the real rubber fans, but i would love to have my own golden hair flow through that lovely opening on top. *hint, hint, nudge, nudge*

The note gives you the advise to copy the prims before playing around with them, very wise advise.

So make room next to your ER boobs and POC catsuit for this hood, no self respecting rubber dolly should be with out one.

A fun ad we saw go by on Fetish Consolidated brought us to Mech-Toys for their latest release, the simply-named XToy.

This complete avatar should be of interest to all dolls, toys, gynoids, and assorted artificial people aficionados in SL - no small crowd, although we didn’t show a lot of doll products lately.

If you like buttons, joysticks, arrowpads, bleeps, bloops, cables, access panels, and other things that make technophiles’ hearts beat faster, this is definitely a toy you should investigate.

The price is high, but hey, if you love toys, that has never stopped you, right? ;)

Don’t worry it’s still me, but this is like the box says a full AV, elongated neck and all. *smiles*

Full AV means everything you see here, including one of Mecha’s famous jointed doll skins.

The heart of this outfit is the built-in DVD player, which uses the Open Collar scripts as a base, so i won’t go into those functions as i’m sure most of you wear or own wearers of this system.

There is an Dolly button that leads to the remote, wind and power check options.

The remote option lets you control your dollies movement, with wind you can bring life to your dolly and the power check.. well.. it checks the remaining power of your dolly.

Still it’s a fun change from the usual collars and goes great with the overall theme.

Ohh, beware : this dolly has a build in run time of 30 minutes before it winds down and comes to a screeching halt.

Looks like Mecha stripped her game controller for parts of this outfit, i just love the joystick headband and the RCA connectors trailing out of your back.

Like Mistress says, delightful toy that makes all the right noises...

Places - Doll Island

Doll Island is an old, well-established doll play sim, with a detailed backstory, although they emphasize that it is not necessary to know the whole thing to have fun there.

And while we were aware of the existence of the island, a friend from Rubber Room, karazorella Kytori, tipped us to a recent surge of activity, so we just had to go visit. Thanks for the tip, kara!

A good sign of age and activity is the size of the member group : over 1600 members at the time we write this.

Doll play is a huge interest in Second Life... but dolls are pretty quiet types, so you may not have heard about it ;)

When you land in the courtyard, make sure you pick up the information notecards - they’re quite detailed, and answer any questions you may have about the island, the roleplay, and where to get good doll hair. (I’m not even kidding.)

Your doll transformation can be a serious roleplay event - it’s probably a lot more interesting that way - but if you’re a Type A person who want to get there in a hurry, a free doll avatar and Dari’s “box of junk” (all her work in open source, you may remember - the box is anything but junk) are available at the info shop.

While visiting, we even ran into our old friend Asudem Kasei, encased in a magical jewel for the last two months, and no doubt pretty happy there. She mentions her predicament in her blog.

Next to the doll castle is a large mall, with many stores to help you with your dollification endeavours. I’ll just mention Hybridz and Bootgasm, but there’s much more to see, and still a bit of room for doll-related content (that’s a hint, designers!).

To sum up : if you love dolls and want to own or be one, you should visit Doll Island. I have my own rubber doll I play with, and I’m not lending her to you ;)

Jaimie Earst Fashion - BDSM Doll

We hadn’t visited Latexia space station in a while, and as usual, we found new stores, and cool new designs : this one, for example, is the BDSM Doll by Jaimie Earst.

Now while this is meant as a Barbie outfit, complete with valve in the back and plastic skin (not shown here), it’s also a quite effective leather slave outfit.

It’s covered in fun buckles and straps, and the leather texture is visible from a good distance.

No shoes are included, so lelo complemented with her own KDC Needle Ballets, which go admirably well with the stockings.

A good-looking outfit, with good prims complementing the look. It’s always a joy to discover a new designer, and I look forward to seeing more designs by Jaimie

This one caught my eye for a change, i know i doesn’t happen that often with an outfit without ballets so i added them myself. *smiles*

All the other items you see are in the box you get after you rez the magic little updater that will fetch you the latest edition of the outfit.

In cloth layer you get a good looking leather corset, with loads of belts, there are belted leather arm and leg covers, also in brown leather.

In tattoo layer you get a good looking leather mask, which also has a pair of prim ear covers.

They even give you a barbie doll skin and a fun little air valve to complete the rubber doll look.

Except for the ear covers and the valve you also get 4 scripted cuffs, and the corset lock.

The corset lock controls most RLV options, the cuffs control the poses as you would expect in RL.

The RLV scripting is done by Needful PIXEL, and offers everything you might want from an outfit like this.

Great little outfit that will give you days, no weeks.. maybe even months of RP fun.

Red Devil - Latex Ballerina Red

We heard about Red Devil through Fetish Consolidated.

That group has quite a bit of potential : if all fetish designers advertised on it, we could all save tons of groups. The down side would be getting too many ads, perhaps. No easy answer.

So. We nipped over to the store, and while looking around, lelo was grabbed by the Latex Ballerina as if it had sprouted graboid tentacles ;)

The design is fun, and the red is a nice rich texture. The dress has a good number of petticoats for fans of that sort of thing.

If you love the boots more than the tutu, they are available separately - just look behind the stairs.

Yes i know i should seek help with this addiction, still i can’t help myself when i see a pair of new ballets.

I absolutely love the shape of these boots, and i don’t think i have seen a heel shaped like this and the toe box reminds me of my beloved Fairlights.

This is the first time i’ve seen lacing on boots done in texture, it works, though i would have loved it to be a bit sharper.

The belts around the boots are a bit crude but have the extra option to chain the boots together, as the boots are copy you could try and remove them.

The Tutu looks good and i love the texture she used, which totally matched the top.

You also get a pair of black stockings and long gloves both with matching top borders.

Lovely little outfit, which shouldn’t be missing for any budding latex ballerina.

Rubber Kittens - General Nurse

Continuing our Hallowe’en theme, this is a sexy nurse outfit.. well, for some of us ;)

This is the General Nurse outfit, from Rubber Kittens. It’s a pretty striking look, especially with the eyepieces.

The ball hands are semi-transparent. No reason they shouldn’t be, I suppose, but it’s the first time we see this.

The rest of the outfit is midnight black and bright red.

Little red crosses here and there and the nurse cap testify that you’re a rubber nurse, qualified to administer the long list of “medical” treatments that generally require tubes of some sort ;)

As you can see from the vendor pic below, the outfit is available in black/red and white/red.

As usual this is a full outfit by Rubber Kittens, including a skin and shape.

you get 23 items in all, of with the jugs are the item that stands out the most. *winks*

Another fun item is the cap which comes with 4 different colored pony tails, you can choose black, blond, brunette and red. I hope one of those matches you hair color.

The other thing that comes in two color options are the pants, here you get red or black.

All the prim parts come with a good working re-size script, which can delete itself when it’s no longer needed, as all the parts are copy i would advice you to delete the script when done.

The boots are simple but work with this outfit and have sound and an AO.

The goggles and gag-ball give you a alien look, good for some SF role-playing.

Fun outfit for a beginner on SL or if you want a complete different look for a well lets say Halloween party. *smiles*

AiTech - Anime Head

A fun variation on a full face hood, this is AI Tech’s Anime Head.

This is for kigurumi fans : a special variety of cosplay getting more popular with doll enthusiasts in Japan, and slowly spreading across the world as Japanese cartoons and comics become more popular.

And just so you don’t think we’re getting lazy and letting Wikipedia do all our research for us, here’s a pretty anime maid costume. We take kinks seriously over here, ok? ;)

We know doll play is a popular topic in SL, even though the doll crowd is a little... quiet? static? inactive? Well, no matter : to them, those are good things!

So if a Japanese cartoon character costume sounds like a fun Halloween idea to you, drop by AiTech’s and pick up this inexpensive mask, and have fun!

When we talked to Asami she told us that the head was “the most modder-friendly head in Second Life”.

So when i wore it i was a bit disappointed with the options in the menu, here you can change the eye color, look happy or mad, change the skin tone and blush.

But when i read the note things became clear, this is not menu modding this is texture and script modding, the head is full moddable, from texture to scripts all can be changed.

Asami even provides links to the original Photoshop and GIMP images, so you can adapt them to your personal likings.

Finally when talking in locale chat the true genius of this mask becomes clear, the mouth animation is very good and convincing.

This mask is extremely fun, not sure if i’m going to mod it, but i’m sure we’ll have some fun with it anyway. *winks*

P and P - Lucky Doll Blue

We saw the P&P stall at Latexia a while back, and the Lucky Doll outfit caught our eye.

As quite a few dolls would agree that lelo is a pretty darned lucky one, we thought we’d feature the outfit tonight ;)

Why blue? Well, there were two colors.. and we feature a *lot* of black.

This is a complete outfit, so if you were looking for something to wear to the Rubber Room, you’re in luck.

Dolls should definitely keep P&P in mind : Felizitaz was telling us she’s working on a latex wedding dress and is considering a doll version.

It’s doll time again, with this basic doll set from P & P.

The outfit contains 16 items : most are prim items, a few of them are freebies, but they are just complementary to the other items in the kit.

The skin is pretty nice and leaves little to no visible skin so you won’t notice the loss of your own skin to much.

The ballets are good looking and have fun little locks on the cuff.

She also includes the Bright Cuffs set in the kit, which is a nice extra.

The thing that really makes this kit is the doll mask, which will completely cover your features giving you that blank doll face we all love, the included doll hair is a nice touch.

There are also two gas-masks in the kit, of which the fallout mask is an old favourite.

All in all, a great start kit for a doll wannabe. Go for the blue one if you want to stand out in a crowd, the black one is the safe, but boring choice.

Eclectic Randomness - Fetish Doll Hood

We hadn’t dropped by Eclectic Randomness in ages, and lelo immediately spotted the Fetish Doll Hood.

Well, it matches the rest of her outfit so well, I couldn’t say no ;)

This is a complete redesign of the previous model, which was called the Isolation Hood. Winter tells me this is two months of work, and I can well believe it.

If objectification, doll play, heavy rubber fetishism, or just ridiculously strict bondage is your thing, this toy is for you :)

I heard someone today call this, “the classic doll outfit”. Well, call me an old-fashioned girl but i just love this look, classic or not.

Where to start on this one... hmm looks i guess, Winter told us she had worked two months on this hood and it shows, the buckles look great and so does the lacing on the back.

I can imagine she had to do quite a bit of work on fitting the hood so it fits most head shapes without becoming too bulky. Just to make sure, she even put a shape in the package, but it fit me fine after a minimum of positioning.

To make the hood really work, she offers a hooded skin and a bib in all layers and all the standard colors.

Speaking of the colors, the combinations you can make here are near endless. You can pick colors for hood, laces, straps, details, neck, locks, mouth and label. Most in a few standard colors and a couple offer you 16.7 million color tints.

Winter offers matching catsuits to the 12 standard hood colors for very reasonable prices and of course they match the ER boobs.

If you think that’s all the tweaking you can do, you couldn’t be more wrong. For one thing, you can show and hide the mouth, buckles, lacing and the label.

The label is the other item that gives you the possibility to totally personalize the hood, every 5 letter/number combination is possible, so if you like collecting dolls you can number. *winks*

Think you’re done? There is one more personalization you need to do, offer your key to the right Dom(me). When (s)he locks it on, small locks appear in the buckles and with RLV the hood stays on.

*comes up for air* so if you are a doll or want to be one and you don’t have this item in your inventory.. run.. you should really own one... now.

Here’s a treat for the doll lovers out there.. yes yes, we know you’re there even if you don’t say much.

This is Galaxy Dolly, by Mech-Toys. Once again, we got a nice interview with the designer and scripter (or as he puts it, code monkey), and we were pretty flattered to hear that they both knew the blog.

Galaxy Dolly is a full kit, everything included, and dolls will love the shape and wind-up key.

A fun related item caught my eye at Mech-Toys : the power-up oil can dispenser, which powers up a doll as if she had got her key wound up.

A fun outfit, with lots of roleplay possibilities. Strike the pose!

With all the barbie outfits we have shown you over the, wow it’s years i guess, we never gave you the “real” barbie doll.

So it was high time and with Mech-toys you get the real deal, we picked the Galaxy Dolly because it’s one of her newest designs and we liked the look. *winks*

This is a complete AV in a box, you get everything too..hmm.. make your dolly come life. Sounds like a RP theme to me. *smiles*

The jointed doll skin is the best i’ve seen in SL till now, very impressive.

The clothes are a nice mix of cloth-layer and prims bringing it all to life. Well as much as you can expect with a doll.

Next to all the visual items there is the, lets say RLV, item the doll key, doll keys are a pretty big part of doll play.

The Mech-Toys one is based on the open collar script and comes with a plug in for your collar in case you don’t want to have they key on your back.

So run and get your favorite doll outfit and make sure your key doesn’t run down on a deserted sim.

Rubber Kittens - Mistress Doll

When we visited Rubber Kittens recently, I was concerned that it was a ghost ship, sailing without a hand on the wheel.

Nothing could be further from the truth. A call to Luxette got us a nice little interview with her.

She has indeed been away for a short while, but she's back, and has a huge update under way. No date yet, but we'll sure keep you posted.

Today's outfit, then, is Mistress Doll. We've seen it on occasion at Rubber Room, as there's a nice little rubberdoll community building there.

It's quite an impressive outfit : heavy rubber enthusiasts will find a lot to like here. Suit up, and go dominate some rubberdolls :)

The outfit comes with 13 parts, including a shape for ease of fitting.

The cloth layer parts are quite good - i just love the black and red combo.

There are also a pair of prim boots included, though you might want to wear some good looking ballets with this one.

The thing that really stands out is the gasmask, which offers some fun role play options, including a hud that obscures your vision.

You also have the choice to see and hear your breath, please don't use it on busy sims, not everyone is into heavy breathing. *winks*

Finally there is a urine collection bag, can't say i'm a fan but it completes the picture.

VirToys - Black Sin Lovedoll Avatar

One of our friends called Downy Swain, of VirToys, and suggested she get in touch with us.

A few hours later, we were visiting VirToys with this tiny charming pixie... and discussing sex dolls and breast implants :)

Downy produces toys that are a little more hard-core than our usual topics in here, but we agreed that fetish isn't just about pretty boots - a little variety shouldn't kill us.

Virtoys, then, has a variety of sex doll options : mostly avatars, but accessories as well.

Where to begin on this one? it's a complete avatar kit, with some "interesting" RLV extra's.

Lets start with the basic kit, it comes with everything needed for a Avatar, a lovedoll Avatar in this case.

So you get, shape (didn't use the VirToys one in the picture), skin, earcovers, mouthpussy, pussy and collar. You also get the basic doll implants from Implant Nation.

All the prim items come with a RLV lock option so you can be securely locked up.

The breast implants have a couple extra options like: milk control, bounce options, excite! like touch options and of course the always fun size options (seems they go all the way to the prim limit, though we didn't try as our bedroom is kinda small *winks*).

The collar is where the real fun begins: it offers a wide range of mind control functions, including programming, direct mind control and the option to make your doll say what you want it to say.

VirToy offers a nice selection of avatar kits from pink barbie dolls to this somewhat demonic Black Sin version.
