Deirdre and lelo’s Fetish Spot is Open!

We arranged, with a lot of help from our good friends, to secure some land in the middle of Freedom Continent for a new fetish hangout.

What’s more, another awesome friend came to us with a very neat suggestion:

"Put up cheapies from the best fetish designers as a draw, so visitors can chat, people-watch, and lay hands on cool inexpensive outfits all at the same time." 

It took time - we have busy first and second lives! - but we’re finally almost there.

In the coming weeks you’ll see the walls fill with items, all on sale at the same insanely low price of L$10.

We’ll announce new cheapies on the Friday post every week, so keep an eye on those even if you’re not a lolcat lover.

But that’s just a start! We’ll have events such as fashion shows and meet-and-greets with famous designers, and more, as soon as we think them up!

The theme will be fetish, of course.. and if I see someone wearing jeans, they better have a matching denim hood, is all I have to say on that subject ;)

SeXy - Freebies

Another Hikari tip led us to SeXy - I swear, I’m giving her stock options in the blog soon :)

The generous freebies table caught our eye, and as an introduction to the store, we picked up a bunch of them to show you tonight.

I’m wearing the Kombi Black and lelo the Neon Latex Skirt Pink outfit in the first pic, and I have Capella Red in the second and lelo has Tallulah Pink. It’s totally a coincidence, I’m sure.

Kombi is a good, simple outfit made with a pants-and-shirt combo, with latex stockings thrown in. Capella is a top and string, and to save myself little-censorship-heart-pasting, I turned around.

Great free outfits, well worth the detour by the store to go get, and if you accidentally get exposed to the nice outfits for sale and spend a lot of money at SeXy, don’t blame us too much ;)

i might have asked you this question before but it’s still an important one, “what’s better than latex?”, “Free latex!!” *winks*

The neon skirt comes with everything you see in the picture except for the boots i’m wearing and as you might know i’m a sucker for a prim skirt like that.

The pink or more magenta shine looks good and shiny pink nipples are always a plus, this is a fun party outfit.

Tallulah is more underwear or like Mistress loves to call it bedroom wear, it’s a simple 3 piece outfit of which the stockings should find it’s way into your favorites folder in no time.

Next to the outfits we showed you here there is also a great looking harness in black or red, which is a bit too seXy for the blog's PG rating, but believe me this should look great on a pony.

So run run run, you can’t be without this gear at these prices and give the shop a look while you are there, you never know what will catch you eye.

Tiny Latex - Free Tiny Pony

Hikari showed us these very cool tiny ponygirl avatars, and we just had to share them with you.

Now obviously these are the demos, and you’re encouraged to go buy Ruthi, the full version, which comes with a couple of latex catsuits and an applier that will let you reuse clothing made for other mesh shapes.

Things keep getting fancier and fancier around here.. I barely keep up :)

The tiny pony is completely adorable, and I think a cart pulled by four of them would be the one single most awesome vehicle in SL.

I caught Subus online and she was very friendly and helpful. Seems she had the idea to host a tiny pony event.. so she made tiny ponies. I do love creators!

This is her first mesh design, and we definitely look forward to more.

Woohoo pony time again, at least that’s what Mistress told me, she cunningly left out the tiny bit. *winks*

There are 3 free versions giving you a choice of a zebra, leopard or verde (green) catsuit.

In the box you will find quite some gear for a freebie, first there is the mesh body, a alpha layer to hide your full size body, the mesh pony head with bridle.

Next there are the Open Collar tiny bridle and sub AO to give you a nice pony stand/walk.

Finally you get the a Squeaky rubber harness, a tiny tail, tiny eyeballs and a shape, though it does work on your own shape.

The eyes can be pushed forward as they are hidden under the head, giving the pony a very cartoony look.

Jaimie Earst Fashion - Freebie Marketing

We were visiting Jaimie’s lovely beach-side store, and lelo spotted the large sign: Latex Fetish Fashion Beach Treasure Hunt.

Wow, I thought, a hunt I haven’t heard about. But a closer look revealed that it’s purely local. You’re looking for the wood crates - but only on Jaimie’s island :)

That’s pretty clever, I thought. Like not sending blog readers off on other sites to see pictures - we upload funnies we find to our own Picasa Web account.

That got me thinking about the other types of freebie marketing, and sure enough, Jaimie practices the popular ones: lucky letter boards and Midnight Mania.

I don’t know how much of that traffic converts to later sales; we certainly didn’t buy much during our chair-jumping period.

But getting discovered must be worth the effort; some pretty shrewd designers give away freebies like pixels are going out of fashion.

So go visit Jaimie’s island, do the fun little hunt (the outfits are really quite good), play the boards, hit the Midnight Mania.. if you tell your friends about Jaimie Earst, the freebies will have done their job.

Latex Station Revamp and Hunts

A few months back, Latex Station got a big revamp : walls removed, the whole thing simplified and streamlined... I was just trying to find a good time to tell you ;)

VvB shoes and boots now occupy the bottom floor, and there’s a mini mall with other designers - many of them friends we featured in the blog.

The cheapies table is still there, well-stocked as ever, gorgeous older LS outfits at 10L$ each.

Short post : Latex Station Hunt Reminder

Hello faithful readers, a short post tonight - we both got in late, lelo lost Internet access, and I haven’t even had my cup of coffee yet ;)

We ran into a fan at Latex Station while looking for the three new free outfits in the hunt so a big hello and thank you to Renethe Braelyn, you did all the hard work!

The hints get a lot tougher towards the end, I sure wouldn’t have found the third outfit short of combing the whole Latex Station.

I’ll just help you by saying the third hint refers to women’s, not men’s.

AtaMe - Kukla v2

This is a cool little nearly-free gift from AtaMe, a Marketplace-only dollarbie called Kukla.

Why it’s not at the entrance of the store to draw crowds in, we don’t know because Milu goes to bed at sane hours, apparently ;)

The tiny minidress reminded me of the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion poster, so I looked for a two-girls-hugging-with-a-leg-up pose... talk about pulling teeth.

This is as close as we found, with a lot of help from the cool folks in the Glitterati VIP group - - the penalty of a daily post is *short* production cycles.

Kukla is a fun latex minidress with lots of shiny flexi folds. If there was a v1 it totally escaped us, but Milu is pretty productive.

Do pick it up from Marketplace but visit the AtaMe store - freebies don’t pay the rent ;)

A simple little dress, well actually 4 of them, by Milu from AtaMe tonight.

You get the skirt in 2 colors an shimmery black and a shining red and in case you still can’t tell us apart or you are color challenged, i’m wearing the red one. *winks*

Next to the color choice you also get two lengths for the skirts, the petite i’m wearing and the regular length Mistress is wearing.

The skirt is the lovely flexi prim kind i love to see floating around me, but be careful, don’t run in these skirts if you aren’t wearing any underwear.

And talking of underwear you get some funky Victorian swimsuit looking underwear with the skirt.

To conclude: fun, nearly free summer dress that should be in your wardrobe.

Kcreations - New Latex Freebies

Our good friend Mel Melville tipped us to this nice surprise : new freebie latex catsuits from Kcreations.

Kat apparently has the workaholic bug, and so not only are there two new free latex outfits, complete with boots (the red and black I am modeling), but there is also a new series, modeled by lelo.

Kat is rarely in-world at the same time we are, or I would have asked her for a bit of info about the new outfits.

It says in the name that they are Adult Hub Freebies; I think it’s pretty awesome on her part to put them where they have a good chance of helping a new resident get her wardrobe started, as she did for me, all those years ago ;)

This is high quality work, not a quick-and-dirty cheapie. Prim collar, boots, gloves, and two layers for both top and bottom. The shine is just amazing - the red looks like a candy apple.

You could pay hundreds in another store and get much less.

Do visit Kat’s store at The Boobies (not the mall's real name) and support her so she keeps creating gorgeous latex and leather for new and old residents - don’t you need new mesh thigh high pony boots? ;)

You would think putting great looking freebies is a lovely gesture and certainly a traffic builder, but when you keep updating them, well then you really like your customers or need a hobby. *winks*

Introducing V3 of the free Kcreations catsuits, we missed the V2, so i’ll compare to the original version.

You now get black, blue, dark blue (shown here), dark purple, dark red, purple (also shown here), red and white. So a color for every occasion.

But the big news it that you now get two tattoo layer hoods in the package, an open faced, showing your own face, and the one i’m wearing in the picture, still showing your own face, just a bit less of it. *smiles*

Next to the tattoo layer hoods you get every layer except for the jacket layer of each color.

She also worked on the shine, which has a nice dullish glow to it, very realistic.

So it’s official best looking free catsuits are available in the big boobies mall as we call it.

Latex Station Hunt

Cindy of Latex Station has been in Second Life for five years. To celebrate her rezday, she is launching a hunt.

Latex Station is one of those stores that has enough different outfits to do a hunt by themselves, so unlike other hunts, you’ll find Latex Station items at all the various locations; mostly sponsors and associates of LS.

But wait, as they say in the biz, there’s more! ;) When you start at the station itself and find the big (big!) white cap, note that the friends’ stores in the station’s lower floor also have gifts, so have a look around before launching off.

The hunt will go for a month : May 13th to June 13th. As a bonus, there will be 3 extra outfits in the main store from June 6th to June 13th, so be sure and go back for those.

The white cap is the item you’ll be hunting for at the various locations.

Note that some sims are pretty busy, and will take a while to rez; wait a bit to start searching or you’ll drive yourself crazy for nothing.

Each will contain a Latex Station outfit, a landmark to the next location, and a hint for the next location.

Mesmerize Dungeon - Freebies

This is one of lelo’s finds.. she smells out freebies like a bloodhound, I swear.

There are no less than 23 freebies lined up in neat little rows in a back room at Mesmerize Dungeon. And I never noticed them ;)

They’re not far from the social area, see lelo’s instuctions to get there.. I can give you the coordinates (174, 162, 26), but with MD’s fixed landing zone, they won’t help as much as usual.

There is a wide variety of outfits, so we picked a few to show you. One unexpected find is no less than six skins. New citizens don’t start out quite as naked as we old folks once did, but that’s still a valuable thing to find if you’re new.

The catsuit I have in the first pic is good, but it’s top, bottom, gloves and stockings.

Nothing more needed, you’ll say, but the Soldier Girl outfit has 14 parts, including a hooded skin and boots; the top and pants version I’m wearing here, plus a catsuit.

So a generous trove of good quality free items to draw you to Mesmerize Dungeon, if the Fetish Ranch aspect wasn’t enough ;)

You might have noticed that we do quite some people watching at Mesmerize Dungeon.

It’s our way to shop while standing still and it’s also a great way to meet like minded people.

Funny thing is that we and almost everyone else stands in the same place, the third room of the complex.

While having a quick look around Mesmerize Dungeon, i ventured deeper into the complex and found the freebies just in front of the update center.

They are on the right side wall, like Mistress said 23 nicely packaged gift boxes.

The quality of the latex is amazingly good, thought the boots show that this is her earlier work, still add some newer boots and you have a great outfit.

Hugo's Design - Artemis Freebie and New Releases

We have a wagonload of new releases from Hugo to show you, and you know, that stuff goes bad on the shelf so we have to use it quick ;)

First, lelo and I are wearing the awesome Artemis freebie - if you had any doubt the hunt was worth doing, we’re here to dispel them!

New releases : First, a new line called Ursa : the suit, body and corset can be seen at Hugo’s Design’s own blog.

There’s also a Net Bikini, matching the Net Catsuit, and a fun set of freebie hearts.

Both are available in all Hugo colors, including the new blue and yellow.

The hearts may look familiar to long-time readers of this humble blog ;)

Ok i’ll try and tell you what’s in the 13 little red boxes..oops should i have warned you about that little spoiler there?? *smiles*

1. an open top in all three layers with sleeves to the elbows and some lovely Hugo style belts and rings.
2. is the same as 1 but with an added bikini and center chain, again in all 3 layers..
3. is the same as 2 but with out the bikini, so 1 with a center chain and yes all 3 layers are included.
4. are elbow length gloves, with a nice belt at the elbow.
5. are the same gloves but this time fingerless.
6. will give you the stockings which have the same belt as the gloves but this time halfway up your thigh.
7. is a suspender girdle with attached panties. Both layers are included.
8. is as 7 but with out the panties, not that there were much of them in 7. *winks*
9. is also as 7 but replaces the panties with a chain, a cold metal chain..* shudders*
10. gives you the body like worn by Mistress, all 3 top layers are included but only the pants layer.
11. contains the same body with out the white flames and this time only in underpants layer.
12. is the same as like 2 but this time the middle chain is missing. Didn’t that take you back a bit. *smiles*
13. and final box has the two bodies (10 and 11) in tattoo layer.

Woohoo... that’s all there is...

Jaimie Earst - Mesh Boots with Esnya and Prima dresses

I haven’t seen any others, so I am going to call them the first ever in SL, okay? Introducing the incredibly awesome first mesh thigh boots from Jaimie Earst.

I’m rapidly falling in love with mesh. When I told lelo “Let’s take our time and make sure these are fitted perfectly”, she was nice enough to not say anything.

So, duh. You can’t edit or adjust mesh clothes - they line up with your bones. So in a few moments, I picked the tightness I wanted (size 2) and I had perfect-fit boots.

Oh sure, they depend on alpha for a cheat.. but they fit the way I *want* my boots to look.

To stop gushing about the boots for a moment, I’ll gush about the Prima minidress, which looks simply awesome.

Excellent shine plus a skirt prim I’d call the best I’ve seen since the one from Drawmachine. I nearly regret not modeling the pink Prima - it looks like a candy apple :)

If all of this isn’t enough to get you to run to Jaimie’s, the red mesh boots are free (until Saturday Jan. 14th, so hurry!)

As a PS, I'm completely satisfied with Phoenix 1.60 so far. So if you were hesitating, go right ahead and dive in.. the water’s fine.

Jaimie gives you 5 sizes of the boots so they will fit your thighs, yes that’s still a little draw back with mesh, no resizing, but then no long fitting sessions as well.

The Alpha layer comes in 2 sizes, but if you need more i just point you to last fridays post.

Ok so we love these boots, but let's not forget the matching dresses she offers as well.

Mistress is wearing the Prima dress which is a lovely latex dress which is fully closed in the front, but almost fully open in the back, people will love to see you go...

I’m wearing the Esnya dress which has the same open back but comes with a nice low bust line, and the amazing prim breast cover which is fully adjustable.

Both skirts have a mesh skirt cover, which just snaps into place.

So run and get your favorite color and the one you like a bit less, and.. ahh just get them all, she’s practically giving them away.

Avatar Alpha Masks - Imnotgoing Sideways

Do you know, I thought something like this would be out there, because it’s so useful and it makes so much sense? I had a peek on Marketplace, and sure enough, there it was : Avatar Alpha Masks, by Imnotgoing Sideways.

Included in the kit are the alpha masks, ready to use (36 as I write this) and textures, suitable to save as tga and edit with Photoshop or similar.

They’re free, so I encourage you to mail Imnotgoing some cash if you find these useful.

She updates the box every month or so on marketplace, a little less at the shop.

So, if there’s a shape you need and you’re not feeling creative, have a look now and again.

Imnotgoing is very nice, and answered a question in such a clear way I’ll just quote her :

Deirdre Young: ah, the negative numbers on the feet alphas.. do they mean something?

Imnotgoing Sideways: Yeah. 0 is the seam between the leg and the foot in the UV map. Positive numbers go up the legs for boots. Negative numbers leave more visible foot for open shoes. (^_^)

The textures are covered by the very cool Creative Commons Attribution license so you can share or adapt them, but you should make it clear she made the originals.

Now go fix your feet ;)

Sintimacy - Freebies : Let It Rock and Motorcycle Booty

Lelo reminded me we hadn’t had a peek in Sintimacy for quite a while, so we nipped over and I immediately remembered the cool, wide open store.

The new outfits, right in the middle, look good and are quite inexpensive - especially the discount of the week.

As I’ve said before, Sintimacy isn’t the usual fetishwear we review, but the outfits look good, so I’m arbitrarily calling them spandex and giving them a pass ;)

I’m wearing Let It Rock, which has cool net-looking undershirt and panties, and a choice of black or red top and pants.

Subtle patterns under the colors will have people zooming in on you for all the wrong reasons.

The Let it rock, Mistress is wearing, comes with one of the brightest facelights i’ve seen yet and a good looking lip ring, if you are into that, i rather keep my rings in private places. *winks*

We won’t tell you were the vendors are so you’ll spend some time in her store, the least you can do for a freebie and maybe you’ll find something you’ll like, her prices are quite cheap and her designs very good and distinctively her own.

One of these days well have to do a best freebie outfit in SL, but till that time you just have to use our freebie tag.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Fetishtron One

After a long quiet period, Kayliwulf just released this new outfit, Fetishtron One, and as can be expected from KK, it’s brief and naughty!

I believe this is the first Kayliwulf outfit that doesn’t include v1-compatible boots. As the boots are worn on the feet, my usual invisprim trick won’t work here. Oh well... Bax makes very nice ankle boots.

Fetishtron comes in a good variety of colors, but none of them include pink catsuits.

As I have a few Kayliwulf catsuits here and there, I thought I’d give the old mix-and-match a try, and I think it looks pretty good. (That’s the black/white Fetishtron over a Plasma (official KK color name) catsuit, in case you wondered.)

A cool Barbarella-meets-Tron outfit, if peek-a-boo is your thing, don’t waste another second ;)

Laz is back!!! Seems he’s not waiting for mesh anymore, though we are assured that he’s ready for it, when if finally arrives.

In the box you get: the V4 heels, socks, wrist gloves, thong panties and the catsuit. All nicely color matched into a fun neony outfit.

It’s been a while but Laz managed to find a place for his micro thong panties, i floss with thicker cord, but it covers.. some of the naughty bits. *winks*

The boots come with a lovely shiny neon sole matching the stripes on the outfit.

As is customary with Kayliwulf by now, you get a nice little implant applier so you big breasted girls can join the neon revolution.

Ohh and if you are on a smaller budget, check out the bargain bins as quite a few of the oldies but goodies have been moved there.

Naughty N Nice - Justified Oxford

Lelo spotted the Justified Oxford shoes from Naughty N Nice at the Rubber Room mall, and I had to admit that they looked good.

There’s more to Naughty N Nice than shoes and boots, however. Nice and naughty clothes, skins, and a number of fun accessories I’ll let you discover.

I will add that her partner, Koose DeGroot, makes motorcycles so expect quite a bit of leather :)

The Oxfords are really fun, with an all prim look that suits patent leather very nicely.

While visiting the very classy and nicely laid-out store, I saw a sign mentioning a shopping event from Sunday September 11th to Monday the 19th.

Here are the details : there are 3 pre-selected items in the little mall around Naughty.

Be the first to buy one of them and you win a 5,000L$ shopping spree plus gift cards from other stores. Second gets a 1,000L$ spree and cards, third gets a 500L$ spree.

How can you say no to a pair of classic Oxford pumps, especialy when they come with good sized platform and killer heels.

The prim work is quite good on these, i especially love the look of the laces.

You get a V1 and V2 option, so even those who just can’t say goodbye to the good old V1 viewers, these boots will work for you as well.

The boots come with a nice, easy to use, HUD that offers you control of the walking sound, size settings, skin tone and nail polish color.

I had to adjust the position of one boot and the second preset skin was a good match so thumbs up for that.

These boots come in: red suede, black suede (sorry no blue suede), zebra, spotted, skulls and spikes, tiger and Oxford, the classic version we feature here.
