CorinS Fashion - Fina Latex Set 01

Fina is a new outfit by Corin’s Fashion, and it’s more of a system than a simple outfit.

At the store, you’ll see Fina Latex Set 01 and Fina Latex Set 02; Set 02 being just the latex bolero and pants.

Set 01 is the more complete kit, including the latex corset and Fiona’12, the lace blouse we’re both wearing here.

Without the blouse and corset, you’re looking at full-frontal nudity, except for two nipple shields. Two *small* nipple shields ;)

The big shoulder pads looks really good with the included collar, so I wore it here but lelo didn’t; it’s reversal day!

The price is quite reasonable for all the parts you get, and the quality is amazing. This may be the first lace I actually like in my SL wardrobe. Fina is available in eight colors.

This is an awesome outfit, and if you’re not in a hurry, you’ll enjoy trying out all the possibilities. Drop by Corin’s and have a look, you won't regret it.

The new outfit from CorinS tonight, Fina, we went for the Latex Set 01, which offers all the options possible.

The upside is loads of possibilities, the down side is it takes a while to unpack it all, still that's not what you would call hardship.

Ok here are all the parts: first there are the pants, this is the smallest bag, just the pants in two layers. A good looking mix of latex and lace, with some realistic folds in the right places.

Then there is the corset, which is underbust and i’m sorry to report only in cloth layer, but looks very good, i especially love the lacing on the back. All layers are included.

Next up the Bolero, though it’s not much more than a collar and a pair of shoulder pads, don’t get me wrong it looks great, the collar, which i’m not wearing here, even comes with an open collar version, how’s that for being considered.

There are also 2 nipple caps with the bolero to make everything more or less PG.

Finally there is the Fiona shirt, the shirt looks great with the prim collar and sleeves. The shirt binds everything together and makes it all very fashionable.

So a great mix and match outfit, which you can get as one set or buy separately, that’s up to you... though i would always go for the full set. *smiles*

Graves - The Thief

Who is zis Deer-dray you speak of? I am just an innocent black pussycat, the safe was open when I got here, and anyway I threw away the key ;)

This lovely (and timely!) outfit by Graves is called The Thief, and if it reminds you of anyone trademarked, it’s pure coincidence and we were nowhere near the studio that day.

As with other Graves outfits, it’s chock-full of prim goodness: belt, sleeves and collar, mask, ears, cool thigh pockets and a neat necklace with fun bangles that have nothing whatsoever to do with any break-ins.

If you want to wear both the catsuit prim collar and the necklace, you’ll have to use “Add” for one of them - most viewers allow two attachments per point now, I think.

A slinky, stealthy outfit you’ll find a million uses for - just add good boots (maybe even Jackie’s own!) and you’re set.

We ran across this lovely outfit when we visited Jackies lovely store, the shiny new signs are a true gift for bloggers like us.

The Thief caught our eye, especially when we saw the included safe, secret plans and gold bars are included. *winks*

Jackie uses her trademark honeycomb texture on this one and for me that’s what makes her outfits so special, it brings life to a usually dead texture.

So all you need is a pair of good boots, a few witnesses, play the mission impossible tune and you can have yourself some great fun. *smiles*

Rosal - Viron-M Ballet Boots and Gloves

Deirdre:

Love the beach, hate the sand? I have a suggestion! No, no, I kid; I just wanted to make sure I showed off the gorgeous Viron-M gloves and boots properly.

Note that they are sold separately; maybe a full kit of boots, gloves, corset and neck corset would be a thought? Let Tsarina know if you want it, I’m guessing she’ll put it together if there’s demand - she’s smart.

The version we have here is the fatpack; that means that the red, white and black “main part” colors are included, and accessible from a simple menu : /2boots or /2gloves gets you in.

The cool glowy sci-fi effects match the Viron corset and neck corset for a killer Tron look, but they look great by themselves too. The red is particularly striking.

I love the gloves, and while the Tron look isn’t something I’ll wear every day, I love the feeling of thickness to them, unlike the coat-of-paint clothes-layer gloves.

The tint-picker HUD works well, and the design is quite simple. Tip : pick white as base color, apply a tint, and you’ll end up with the most remarkable pastel SF wear ;)

Combined alphas are included in every permutation you’re likely to need; gloves and boots is the one I used here. If you want finer control, textures are included so you can pick manually from Appearance, Alphas.

Post number 1001 and what do we get? Ballet boots and in mesh, making them even better.

As you would expect from Tsarina, the sculpting is perfect and she spent way too much time on the little details. *smiles*

Ohh there also are new mesh gloves, Mistress told you about those, back to the ballets *winks*

The usual mesh fitting problems rear their ugly head, though for me the large is a perfect fit.

To help with the fitting Tsarina offers you demo’s to see if your body fits the gear, she also gives you body size suggestions.

The boots do run a bit low, i hope you run a viewer that offers you an avatar Z-adjust, so you can adjust that.

So add the corset, a catsuit, set your favorite colors and glow and you can play Barbarella.

Dare Designs - Scorch

Deirdre:

Continuing to share Dare’s lovely designs with you, this cool dress is called Scorch for the obvious reason - it’s hot!

Well, that and the lovely crystal heart pendant with the flame in it - red flame in mine and black flame in lelo. You don’t see black flames every day. ;)

This is a very versatile outfit - see the vendor pic for an overview of your options.As usual, I'm wearing every available bit.

The prim bits add that je ne sais quoi that keeps an outfit from looking too much like a coat of paint. I don’t have a lot of ruffled skirts, and I do find I like this one.

My Bax ankle boots are set to Dark Blood, and they match perfectly. Could be a coincidence...

We came to SL to find our sim missing today. It's pretty disconcerting to stand at the edge of your neighboring sim and gaze into the infinite instead of seeing the familiar mountain side of Khanuy Gol. A quick call to BradleyH Scout at support, and 10 minutes later Bianca Linden called me to say we had a home again. Thanks, guys!

Nice little number by Dare Design tonight, burlesque latex isn’t something you see every day but it does work.

In the box you will find 7 cloth layer items and 4 prims, for a change the cloth layer items give you a lot of choices.

The bra is a bra, the jacket gives you an under breast corset and the shirt adds the shoulder part.

The Pants give you the garters and the panty is, well, your panties. *winks*

Smart system we haven’t seen in a while, i like it even if it’s old school.

The prims give you a lovely collar, a pair of belted wristbands and a some lovely flexy ruffles, these will keep me happy staring at my tail for weeks. *smiles*

Hugo's Design - Nix

Some pale pastels from Hugo this week, this is Nix, a snapped latex and metal bodysuit.

That is, the metal is in clothing layers only. This might be the “most uncomfortable item to wear in RL” prize-winning outfit for 2012 ;)

The cleverness of the designs is apparent in the open versions, however. Pop the covers up top and below, and all is explained.

The snaps are reprised on the gloves and stockings but not on the back; just a zipper there.

The transluscent colors are quite pale, and may be a challenge to match - I didn’t have pale purple boots handy so I gave up and threw on black ankle boots.

An interesting outfit, unlike most Hugo designs we’ve seen. If you do something clever with it, send us a pic and we’ll publish it :)

Some sheer latex by Hugo tonight, as if his usual outfits don’t show enough skin already *winks*

You get 6 options with this outfit, open and closed bottom and for the top you get closed, open nipples and fully exposed breasts.

For a little bit of modesty you get pasties in 3 layers and as they are as sheer as the rest of the outfit, wearing them all gets you close to PG, but only close. *smiles*

The gloves in the bag are short, reaching just under the elbow and have the same poppers as the outfit.

The stockings have the same look as the gloves but have the normal length, sadly there isn’t the seam on the back i love, still the poppers give them an interesting look.

This is what Mistress calls a bedroom outfit and i can agree, you can do some fun role playing where some poppers are popped.

Karu Karu - Lindsay

Between summer and capped IM’s and notecards not always getting delivered, the blog is a bit more of a challenge lately.

But old friends call us, which helps a lot :) Chane had this lovely catsuit to show us, called Lindsay.

It’s all clothes layer: shirt, pants and gloves, no fuss.

There’s a fatpack with all 9 colors, at a great discount, but there is also a clever “popular pack” of the four favorite colors (ruby, white, black and pink) for half the price of the fatpack - a great compromise.

The store is new and improved - very clean and easy to navigate (or cam if you’re lazy like me), with the Lindsay vendor visible right at the landing zone... right next to a little 99L$ discounted item. You know, like candy bars next to the cash register ;)

A nice complex catsuit from Karu Karu tonight, complex in look that is.

There are just 4 items in the folder, a shirt, two pants and the gloves, nicely in the middle layer so you can wear underwear under and jackets or corsets over it.

This is a great party outfit that comes in 9 different colors, so something for every mood.

And when you meet that special someone in a club, which shouldn’t hard in this one, and you decide to do a bit of poseball hopping the second version of the pants comes into play, that zipper isn’t just for show. *winks*

Be smart get the fatpack, there will always be a good time to wear one of those colors, even if it’s just to stand out in a crowd.

Hugo's Design - Nico Body and Ula

A pair of barely-there summer outfits from Hugo’s Design today: Ula (the strappy harness in our first pic) and Nico Body, related to Nico which we showed you a few weeks back.

Ula is an O-ring harness, and the straps are in the color stated on the box - no black mixed in. Well, except the black Ula, but I know you're with me.

In fact, Ula is well suited for wearing over a black catsuit.

As usual, my little censorship heart indicates that this is not an outfit to wear outside of adult areas; if you were thinking “Oh, I’ll just throw on my Ula and go hair shopping”, well, maybe you’ve been in SL too long ;)

Nico’s a fun bit of not-practical-in-RL latex : everything in front would pretty much need to be painted on to work. Which, as I always say, is a good thing in-world - it’s real life’s loss.

The yoke connects to sleeves which could be handless shoulder gloves in the long sleeve version; wear the short sleeve version with the included gloves and you have a similar effect, minus the strap.

As we said, Erik is back from his holiday and is back producing as a mad man, so 2 new outfits tonight.

Well outfits might be stretching the truth a bit, it still amazes me how much skin is shown when the folder is almost overflowing.

Nothing new that Hugo gives you each and every bit of the outfit in all possible layers so you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

Each outfit comes with color matched gloves and stockings, both belted and the stockings have the seam running down the back, imagine having to keep those straight in RL.

Ula gives you 4 basic options, with or without garters and being a Hugo Design an open and closed version, pasties are included for that bare minimum of coverage.

The Nico offers long and short sleeves next to the open/closed option, which is for the bottom, the girls are on full display with both version, pasties are included. *winks*

Haha Studios - Panthex and Double Face

Haye gave us a shout and asked whether we wanted to give her shop a look. Long time readers and astute short-time ones will guess what happened ;)

She makes latex with distinctive reflections and tints, and a line of metal piercy-stabby bits that may be more suited to modern primitives than the simple fetish crowd.

Honestly, when I see what some people are into, I sometimes feel *very* simple.

I’m wearing the Panthex kit here : some fun leopard-pattern undies, and a translucent bare-midriff set over that.

The seal lines on the latex look authentic, and I like that they “reflect the light” differently in the right places. Good attention to detail on the textures.

The four parts take up all clothes layers except jacket, so keep it in mind when planning outfits. The translucent top and bottom will mix and match with lots of other undies, of course.

Bad news, no toy today, sniff, but we did find a new designer for our blog, well new for us that is. *smiles*

Haye has one guideline for her products, she has to love them, so it’s a fun hodgepodge of all kinds of items.

I’m wearing the double face here, and as you can see it really has two faces, or should i say sides.

You get 8 prim buckles, which all have a deletable resize script in them, they need a little bit of tinkering to make them fit just right.

Once in place the buckles look great and i’m sure you’ll get some fun double takes when you walk by. *winks*

Hugo's Design - Gani

Gani is Hugo’s latest release. It’s in a solid color plus black details, the reverse of Erik’s recent designs.

It’s a handsome swimsuit in the closed version, and a naughty play outfit in the open version (not shown).

As the rear is fairly skimpy, we chose to show you the front in a few different colors.

I’m definitely adopting the black as my new swimsuit.

A certain hot tub at Bahia has recently become my informal conference room and gossip trading area :)

There are two options with this one, the closed version shown here and an open one which, well, didn’t cost Erik a lot of fabric.

The texturing is the quality we have come to expect from Hugo’s, i do love the stockings with the seam, i’m just an old fashioned girl. *smiles*

As always Erik supplies you with all possible layers so it’s made for mixing and matching, especially as it doesn’t cover much.

Wear the swimsuit over a brightly colored catsuit, find yourself a matching cape and you can start fighting crime on the mean streets of SL.

Graves - Bound Boots

We had a nice surprise when we visited Graves; Jackie took my suggestion and the “New” signs are now big, and unmistakable ;)

Lelo and I spotted the Bound boots at the same time, and I only had one challenge left : showing them off properly. I’m wearing a skimpy version of Paradox sans legwear.

Obviously you’ll wear the Bound boots without having to worry about this, as they are meant to match Jackie’s other outfits perfectly.

The texture is really good, so I cheated a bit in Photoshop to show you. Real snap is at the left, lightened version at the right. We snap all our pics with mid-day light, in front of big spots.

Great prim straps, great heel and foot shape.. you can now spy, infiltrate, skulk, pussyfoot and prowl in style :)

It’s summertime and things are slowing down in SL, so filling weeks with lovely new things is getting a bit harder.

So we did a quick visit of our favorite stores in SL, at times like these you really appreciate the New signs some designers use.

The New signs at Graves are hard to miss, being bright red in sea of black. *smiles*

The Bound boots caught our eyes, must be the first time i see buckled platforms, still gives a fun look.

The boots suffer a bit from what we call B.O.B. (black on black), when you zoom in you see her trademark texturing, so a perfect match for a Graves outfit.

Hugo's Design - Nico

It’s been some months, so we were pretty happy to hear from Bianka with Erik’s latest release, a strap-and-ring body and catsuit combo called Nico.

The top is generously cut and supported by a behind-the-neck strap - a nice authentic little touch.

There are no less than six tattoo layer versions included, aside from all the clothes layers. Tattoo is so quick, I just love it.

The color highlights are large, and really change the outfit from basic black. Even the gloves and stockings are marked.

A lovely, versatile outfit with great sci-fi RP potential.. also fine to stand out on the dance floor :)

Seems summer break is over at Hugo’s and he left the army behind him.

Nico gives you some fun options and as we have gotten used to from Hugo’s the folder is packed to the rim.

You get the chaps like Mistress is showing, the body i’m wearing and a catsuit is also included.

All come with a closed and open top, open top shown from behind and sorry no alt zoom function in Blogger. *winks*

There are also matching long gloves and stockings included, i just love the seams on the back of the stockings.

The new color coordinated clasps look great and i’m sure we’ll see more of them in the near future.

Powers of Creation - Foxy and Kamilla

There’s a cool summer wind blowing at PoC: some fun, young, wild outfits, kind of the opposite of heavy rubber ;)

I’m wearing Foxy (my totem is the leather vixen), and lelo is wearing Kamilla.

Foxy is really a full box: two latex tops (suspenders or midriff, which amounts to a high waist for pants or skirt), two colorable fishnet tops, 3 lengths of pants and one skirt.

All clothes are available in all the reasonable layers; for example, there’s no jacket for the fishnet tops.

The latex parts all have side lacing, in case that’s not obvious from our pics and the vendor.

I’m wearing PoC red (which nicely matches Bax’s Venitian red, I may have said before), but Foxy is available in all the lovely PoC colors... I nearly picked black, but some of you might start thinking my monitor is broken ;)

This little number caught my eye when we entered the store, allright it’s a Mondrian copy but i’m sure he wouldn’t mind, being Dutch i’m sure he would be open minded enough.

You get all the usual cloth layers and a choice of 2 length of skirts, one so short it doesn’t even need the prim insert.

The “longer” version comes with one of the most over engineered prim inserts i’ve ever seen, it shows Kai’s German all the way.

Still it does work amazingly well and you can tweak both prim parts to the micrometer, amazing stuff.

So want to show you that you are a cultured rubber doll get this one, there is also one that’s pretty pink, just so you know.

Come on girls lets shake up this black on black rubber world with some color. *smiles*

Alessandra - Zipsuit and Holesuit

We dropped by Alessandra’s to see if she had any new designs - and to see her beautiful California store ;)

There is a pair of fun designs for our American friends (or anyone who’s stars-and-stripes friendly), 99L$ Fourth-of-July specials, right in the door.

But what we loved more was the huge backstore of discounts. These are outfits that were originally 350L$ and more, all reduced to 99L$.

While they don’t have quite as many parts as Drift, they’re fun inexpensive clubwear in teh shiny, so I thought they were worth pointing out.

The Latex Zipsuit I’m wearing here shows some disco genes, but it may just be the thing you need for an event, or just to stand out from the crowd.

Anyway, drop by Alessandra’s, sit by the pool, catch some rays, and visit the back room for discounts.

Alessandra keeps the names of her outfits simple and descriptive, Mistress’ catsuit has a zip, hence Zipsuit.

The one i’m wearing has.. well a hole, open-backsuit would have been fitting as well, but i guess Holesuit is shorter.

Simplicity is the name of the game at Alessandra, you get two items in the box, well 3 counting the LM.

There is a pant and a shirt layer, so you can wear underwear and a jacket over it.

In short, fun looking and at this price very affordable clubwear, no reason now to not dress up for a party.

Danish Design - Baroness Catsuit and Criss Cross Dream

We stopped by Pip’s lovely store and saw some great, inexpensive outfits.

Pip swears they’re old and musty, but I think they look terrific, so here I am, sharing them with you.

I’m wearing the Baroness catsuits, sold separately in black or red, and lelo has the Criss Cross Dream.

Good shine, and very good tints make the Baroness stand out, in black or red. The prim turned up collar looks great, and has a resize script for that perfect fit.

So while I enjoy a hot-off-the-press outfit as much as anyone, good quality is timeless. In the next post, I demonstrate that hot is cold, black is white, and dogs lie with cats.

La donna è mobile, you know? ;)

The Criss Cross Dream dress isn’t the newest design by Danish Design, but a girl can never have enough little black dresses.

Being a good little black dress it’s only available in good old black and has a slight shine to it, making it more acceptable in vanilla company.

The criss cross lace, which give the dress its name are on the front and back of the dress and on the included gloves.

You get the clothes layer parts of the dress in all layers, even if this isn’t really necessary, still it’s nice to have the option.

The prim filling to linden skirt gap is simple but fits very well in my case, just had to lower it a little bit.

So lovely little black dress for a nice price that shouldn’t miss in any closet.

Elle Ordonne - Maitresse and Elle Commande

A reader tip led us to Elle Ordonne: thank you, DouceSoupire!

The lovely outfit I’m modeling here is called Maitresse, and lelo is wearing Elle Commande - she might have nightmares, she’s really not a switch ;)

Maitresse is a lovely clothes-layer leather dress, with very good prim details (the rolled-up sleeves) and my beloved military cap included.

There is a hat invisiprim which is meant to hide “hair base” styles; a lovely idea but useful for a small number of us, I think.

One day someone will make good hat hair and will become a millionaire. That’s a hint, designers!

I’d be thrilled to see more designs from Elle Ordone; if more appear, we’ll definitely keep you posted.

Woohoo we found new latex, Elle Ordonne by Kayani Curameyer is a small label we missed till now.

I’m wearing the Elle Commande, a classic black skirt, corset and colored top combo.

The colored top comes in red, copper, green and purple, do get the fat pack it’s a real bargain.

Ok she uses the standard SL skirt, which, well you know, makes your butt look gigantic, but she’s fair and puts a warning about that in the supplied notecard.

The texturing is very good, from folds on the skirt to the zipper and buckles on the corset.

A prim collar and prim ruffle cuffs complete the outfit, giving it that little extra to make it stand out from the crowd.

Chey's Spicy Outfits - LX Cat V33 Huge Set Black

Chey is still around. That’s good news for us; and for her customers too :) She makes awesome latex, and I’m always glad to see stores stick around for a long time.

We last featured her in August 2010 - a ridiculously long time for Second Life. Sims are bought and sold, couples are made, broken, reconciled and divorced in less time than this.

This lovely outfit with the catchy name “LX Cat V33 Huge Set Black” is a catsuit in open and closed top version, and a lovely kit of latex lingerie, all in one box.

I forget where I picked up the expression SPZ (for Strategically Placed Zipper) - it could have been about fursuits. It sure applies here, and along with the good shine and realistic seams, it makes a great-looking catsuit.

The open and closed versions of the catsuit top are in shirt and undershirt, giving some good mix-and-match options, and the catsuit bottom is in both layers.

The naming is easy to follow : LXCat for the catsuit parts, just LX for the lingerie, and a small u marks the underwear layer.

Two pairs of gloves and two pairs of stockings, for use with the catsuit (black) or the lingerie (transparent latex) complete the outfit.

Chey’s is one of these less-well-known stores, that really deserve more love - do give it a look.

This set gives you some nice options, huge might be a bit of marketing talk, but you do get a good looking catsuit and some amazing underwear.

Ok the underwear first, you can see the back of it in the first picture, the front is a bit too revealing.

The quality is amazing; nice see through smoky latex, sharp lines and lovely seamed stockings.

Isn’t it a pity you can’t alt-zoom around the pictures in Blogger as you can in SL. *winks*

The catsuit comes in two versions, the zipper opened revealing a sexy cleavage (as worn by Mistress) and zipper closed (worn by me).

Last but not least you’ll get a tattoo layer mask (yes keeping your own face), which i just love, simple black mask with a smoky face inlay, that has very realistic seams around the openings and down the middle.

Nekos From Mars - Operative Series

While we’re not changing careers from bloggers to secret agents, our recent wardrobe seems to hint that we should :)

We got a friendly hello from Mars Matova asking if we were interested in reviewing his new Operative line of full outfits. A quick peek on Marketplace showed that they looked good so we agreed.

I just had no idea. This is really impressive gear!

I’m wearing most of the Cell Operative outfit in our first pic, minus only the commando-ninja mask; it did nothing good for my hair ;)

The box for C.O. held 30 parts not counting extras, of which I’m wearing 15 - lelo was a little puzzled when I said I was a overwhelmed; the other outfits are somewhat less intricate.

There’s a lot to love here. The mesh corset and excellent booties would be worth the price of admission by themselves.

Cydonian Operative, my outfit on the second pic, is much more revealing and features two-toned mesh boots, red in front and black in rear; wow them when you arrive, sneak away undetected, perhaps.

Keep an eye on Nekos from Mars - we certainly will :)

Nekos From Mars is a new shop in our list and it totally blew us over.

One of the great things with Mars's designs it that he writes a backstory for all his operatives and designs the outfit accordingly, a smart way of working i would say.

On Marketplace he tells the backstory of each design, giving you a feel of what’s involved with each operative.

Legion Operative is the outfit i wear in the first picture, according to Mars’s back story, this is the most basic and most common operative and with prices like that i can understand why.

You get the mesh corset in 8 sizes so there should be one for almost every one, the way the corset moves with your body is great.

You also get 3 different versions of the gloves, a modest version of the catsuit and the one i’m wearing here, both in underwear layer.

Finally there are a pair of great-looking booties, a prim collar and 6 alpha layers to let the corset work with different size boots and shoes.

In the second picture i’m wearing the Cyber Operative in red, there also is a blue version.

According to Mars this is a gynoid operative aka a fembot, that should bring in the dolls of SL.

This one comes with a amazing-looking circuited catsuit, the same texture is also used on the booties.

Most eye-catching is the helmet which totally works with gynoid theme.

The big prim collar and the arm blades bring the outfit further to life.

Cool quiet visit, saw much

I actually finished my first sim, and got half-way through my second one!

Most of the exhibits are really cool, a few are so puzzling as to be completely incomprehensible to me - I really wasn’t expecting that; but I’m reconciled with the idea not everyone thinks the same way I do, and it’s ok.

What I did see and love were two old friends : the Phoenix viewer exhibit, and New Citizens Inc.

Phoenix has several panels of good info, and a really stunning animated phoenix statue which catches your eye from a good distance :)

NCI.. those awesome, crazy guys built a little replica of NCI Kuula, the spot I send new residents for free classes and good information since we found them years ago.

I’m really enjoying this visit, and doing it with the idea of sharing my favorite finds with you definitely adds a little something. I never expected I’d enjoy blogging so much :)
