KaShoez: Seduction

These are amazing boots, but they're special for me for another reason : they're an anniversary gift from lelo. How she finds time to shop for me I'll never know.. thank you, my love.

First thing that will catch your eye is the gorgeous texture on those boots. Amazingly well rendered leather : folds at the knees, reflections.. I love them.

The boots are sculpted prims, and they are mod and copy. I wanted to take those pics immediately, but I'll be making a safety copy and resizing them to fit my legs - out of the box the fit is decent enough. You'll need to adjust the position a bit, but with a good pose stand, it's not hard. (Cipher's pose stand is amazing for this kind of thing, by the way.)

Extremely low price, I'd call them a loss leader if I knew more about her business. It's certainly going to put Kashoez on the map in a hurry.

The heel is good. Lower than some, but variety is good. If everyone made five inch stilettos, we might get bored.. nah ;)

A menu let's you change colors and control sexy walk, heel click and volume. There are two different blacks, one more black-blue as if from cool lighting; also blue, violet, pink and red.. pretty wild.

Deal of the century, get them while they are hot.

Simple heel, with a nice height, good sized prims and some good scripting.

But the two things that really make these boots are the texture and the price. At such low price, with this quality, she is almost giving them away.

There is one problem, the store is located on the last sim run on a Commodore 64, so take your time and lunch when you want to get them.

Still it's worth the trouble, to sum it all up in one word.. "WOW" *smiles*

Fetish Forge: Studded Leather Bitch

Here's a little demonstration of what I always say : accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

Studded Leather Bitch. I'd want that outfit just for the name, even if it wasn't good. Fortunately, it's lovely.

Excellent leather grain, well-drawn studs... good art. This is a great foundation for a hot dungeon outfit. Yes, I tried it with jeans, and sadly, it's just not the same ;)

The top and bottom come in shirt-pants and undershirt-underpants versions, to help your mix-and-match efforts. It's no copy no mod, but it is transferable.

Vanessa has a shop at Perversion Island - that's where I saw this outfit. But the main store at Namhae is worth a visit. Lovely place, easy to navigate.

Bare Rose - Anguished black

Beautiful, detailed, original textures.. Bare Rose designers are true artists. Fun lacing, the clothes look good from a distance, nice color and shine. Hey, I haven't worn my B@R catsuit in ages.. time to rummage in my closet!

One of my few leather outfits, you might have noticed that i'm the rubber doll of the two of us. *smiles*

Still i love the look of this outfit and when you consider B@R's low low prices it's amazing how good the quality is.

The texture looks great, having the folds in all the right place, laces all over and the low shine you would expect from well worn leather.

There are two little draw backs to this outfit, the prim work isn't of the same quality as the texture, the mask looks unfinished and the breast covers are very hard to fit.

The other thing it the fact that there isn't a pantie included, and the cut of the pant's don't leave anything to the imagination. Finding something to cover things up is hard as it tends to stand out next to the B@R texture.

Still the texture makes it special just add some good boots, accessories and leave out the bits you don't like and you have a great base for a nice leather look.

Ohh, take your time at the store, 1. it's very large and 2. at times very laggy.

Badkatz: Leashkat

LeashKat is a great catsuit by Badkatz designer Yummy Freelunch. It's one of the first pieces I got from her, way back when, and certainly not the last.

The amazing textures on the front are simply the best use of photography to make clothing that I've seen in Second Life. The straps, the studs, the leather folds on the arms.. all awesome.

There is almost no need for accessories; just put on some good boots and you're set.

Once you're done admiring the front, you'll notice the daring bare back - see, I wore my hair up for you guys. You just have to show off that dramatic central strap.

The store has gone through several incarnations, always improving. The current layout is terrific, things are easy to find, and new arrivals clearly indicated. Drop by and tell Yummy Deirdre sent you ;)

The first thing you notice about this outfit is the wonderful texture of the top.

The second thing you notice is that this amazing texture isn't continued on the pants, which are rather plain looking.

The belts, or leashes if you go by the name of the outfit, look great, though somehow they miss depth, i guess we have been seeing to many prim belts lately.

This outfit would be one of the top outfit's in SL, if Yummy had put the same care and attention into the texture of the sleeves and pant legs, as she did to the texture of the top.

This is a real budget bargain, with these prices you can really fill your wardrobe with nice clothing. *smiles*

Cipher : Riders Jacket Busta - Black

A leather jacket should not be a coat of paint. Leather jackets have bulk, mass, solidity. They creak, squeak, and stand between you and the elements. Such is the case with the Cipher jacket.

I think a prim jacket must be a difficult project, because you don't see so many around.

The cut is bolero-like, short-ish.. and I love the straps everywhere. The perfect jacket to wear over a catsuit, it has become a mix and match staple of my wardrobe.

There are other colors, and the price is quite reasonable.. I may get the white one, just for a change :)

If I could wish for something, it would be a slightly shinier leather texture, with fold effects and so on.. maybe next season?

The store is well laid-out, easy to browse and cool-looking.

First full prim jacket i've seen and it looks great, i guess it's a huge prim load, but it's worth it.

Bending all those prims to get them in this shape must have been quite some work, but prim wise there isn't one placed wrong.

Only little point of critique is the difference in texture on some of the prims, this shows the most on the shoulders.

Even with this very small "fault" the best looking leather jacket in SL, at least as far as i have seen, if you have a better one please let us know or even better send us one *winks*

Sn@OKs : Lady Zora in Latex

I don't know who Lady Zora is, but she has great taste. I saw someone wearing this outfit at Bondage Ranch, and I thought, "Me want!"

So a quick right-click, inspect (oh, come on, we all do it.. it's harmless snooping) revealed it was made by Sn@oks. Search, teleport... but once in the store, finding the outfit took ten minutes.

This was a few months back. As lelo and I returned to the store to have a peek before writing this piece... we searched for the outfit for 10 minutes. Yes, again.

Now, I know good store layout is a challenge. Sn@oks has a lot of outfits. But the place is literally like a maze. All the sections look the same, no signs anywhere, and the grouping by category is a little... mysterious.

I don't think you should find things despite store layout. I think store layout should help you find things.

All that aside, this outfit has some of the best leather textures I've seen. The corset is really eye-catching, the boots are pretty good (except the foot, but you mix and match your favorites there - I use Minx) and the arm and leg straps are fun extras, at a very reasonable price.

The cape caught my eye first, though.. I *love* capes. This one is big and full, and falls like capes should and never do in real life.

A great outfit for any fetish occasion.. except dancing ;) No, just take off the cape, silly.

This Sn@Oks outfit is very sexy without being slutty, the cape gives it a very domme look, though i would recommend wearing it with other boots or as Mistress does it with other prim heels.

Complete it with a whip on your hip and the subs will be laying at your feet. Next to the great looking leather texture the one thing that really makes this outfit is the lovely cape, it's multi layered and has a very good looking collar.

Look on the second level for some nice freebies and a place to camp.
