Latex Station - Diana and Nina

A new-today release from Latex Station, I’m wearing Diana (with the tights). Lelo is wearing Nina, which is already a week old ;)

Diana is named for a friend of Chill3, a cool homage.

(I’m waiting for a designer to call something Deirdre, but judging by how people misspell my name, it would probably hurt sales : they’d never find it on a Marketplace search.)

Diana, then, is a lovely corset top and laced latex tights combo. The corset is available in shirt and jacket layer, so you can wear it over a catsuit, say.

The tights also have two versions, one with the bottom finished in red to wear with shoes and a plain one for boots.

Also included are a pair of long gloves with nice red detail and calf stockings.

The main part of the Nina outfit is the strapless body which comes in both underwear and cloth layer, the folds and the buckles give the body some life.

You also get a little hot-pants to cover up, well cover up a bit i should say.

The set is completed with stockings and leather gloves. Add some good heels and you're there.

Don't mistake this for a bathing suit, leather isn't made for swimming. *winks*

XTC Leather - New Moon

This is XTC Leather’s latest release, New Moon. As you can see, it comes in four shades ;)

The nice folks at XTC had the idea to show them all at once, and I had to agree that it was a fun thought.

So Applegrl Shepherd and Diaperedpet Jewell (the famous personal shopper is now assisting Xaviar) dropped by the studio, and we had the pics snapped in no time flat - nothing like experienced models to zoom things along.

And while white leather with cool tints is fun, gorgeous, and a change from black, it *is* a bit of a challenge to accessorize.

This is where Pet jumps in with a brilliant suggestion : the new Bax ankle boots in metallic leather are an excellent match for New Moon’s flavors.

New Moon isn’t that new, but Xaviar finally gave in to popular demand and made these new colors.

The new edition comes in, from left to right (in case you can’t tell one blond from another) : Ice which is the sky blue shade Mistress is wearing, I’m in the bubblegum colored Pink, Apple is in wearing the golden Honey and finally Pet sports the reddish Blush.

You get 5 clothing items next to the LM and the give away vendor picture, seems this is a trend with designers now.

You can make quite a few combinations with just those 5 items, there is a corset, gloves, stockings with suspenders, full pants and panties.

It’s great to see when designers listen to the wishes of their customers, even better when it produces a lovely outfit like this one.

Now run and get your favorite color...

Thalias Fashion - High Fashion Boots - Black

As I will tell anyone who’ll sit still long enough (and I’ve used duct tape for that purpose so watch out when I start talking, mmmkay?), there were boots before there was boot fetishism.

So a nice classy fashion boot will always get squeezed in here even though they’re not necessarily tagged as “fetish” boots by everyone.

This is the case with this lovely boot from Thalia’s, called simply High Fashion Boot.

The foot is absolutely excellent, with a slender, eighties-style stiletto heel. Add a slender ankle strap, some good folds (both in the sculpted upper and in the texture - really great work) and you have a nice dress boot, suitable for jeans or a dress.

The footwear section is at the far left once you come into the store proper.

Thalia’s store is big, very clean, with the classy feel of the better high fashion RL places.

The price is simply stunning : 100L$ for these excellent boots is hard to beat.

The name says high fashion but the heels says fetish to me, but then every boot with more than 4 inch heels is fetish to me. *winks*

The store is pretty big and takes a few minutes to sink in, the add on sale of the shoes and boots, next to the outfits is brilliant.

In the entrance area, next to the new items, you’ll find some fun free gifts for group members, always a nice touch.

As you might expect the boots are V2 only so Mistress used her POC invisiprims to hide her lovely feet.

Add a nice little black dress and you’ll have the perfect party outfit.

C and S Fashion - Tempura

It seems we awoke lelo’s inner vampire queen. This lovely outfit is called Tempura, by C&S Fashion.

This is a prim-rich outfit. The big collar and studded leather straps cape is remarkable... I can’t think of a similar outfit in other stores we’ve seen.

The clothes layer items are covered in blood-red designs reminiscent of the Dragon boots we mentioned way back.

A striking, original outfit, representative of the other designs in the store. Well worth a visit.

Don’t worry it’s still me and the blond hair will be back shortly, but this went better with the outfit.

You get 12 items in the box, including the vendor picture and an LM, 3 cloth items and the rest are prims.

The cloth parts form a very good looking prim catsuit with an option for flared or boot cut pants.

The short cape flows nicely into the skirt part and is given his big feeling by the big shoulder pads and the upstanding collar.

The outfit is covered in studs and the red highlights give it life, even if the main feel is quite a bit gothic.

Add some good boots and you have yourself an outfit that just screams “i want your blood”. *winks*

XTC Leather - Darkness and StrangleHold

We had a pretty cool visit at the studio : XTC designer (and male model!) Xaviar Thunders himself.

Astute readers (ok, most readers) will notice we adjusted the studio background to let Xav’s cool snow-white hair show up properly.

Xav is wearing his newest outfit, Stranglehold (he ran out of snake names, I guess) while I’m modeling Darkness, a great corset plus accessories.

The corset itself is on the shirt and pants layer, and the bra and panties are right where they belong.

Gloves (well, laceup wrist, Xena-style things) and stockings are included - just add heels and you’re there.

Gorgeous as usual.. keep spoiling us, Xaviar :)

StrangleHold (worn here by the man Xaviar himself) and the female version Constrictor have a simple design, but that makes them prefect for the general public.

You get the jacket in shirt layer and the pants in pants layer, the pants are mod so you can wear them over shoes or in boots.

A pair of, again simple, gloves complete this low priced outfit and don’t get me wrong the simple is what makes this one special.

They are selling like hot cakes so better hurry before SL runs out of prims *winks*

DeVicious - Stolen Heart

I told you DeVicious was going places.. one of these places is straight into my wardrobe :)

This is Stolen Heart, a great classic bike chick outfit that can be turned into a softer, classier look with the addition of a simple white shirt.

Lelo instantly liked it on me, and while I sometimes think my sweetie would think I look good in a latex potato sack, I have to admit it does really suit me.

The prim accessories are just right for the look : a beaded choker and a couple of little leather bracelets. The resize script in the choker has a “Min. Size” setting, which is pretty smart.

The boots are really great, and the fold is totally in style these days. A version with invisiprims and a version without are included, along with a couple of good notecards to figure it all out.

A little bird (named Steph) hinted that a store redesign is coming.. can’t wait to see it!

A few weeks ago we showed you the freebie of DeVicious and as promised here is more.

The one thing that’s really unique about this outfit is the leather that is worn like demin, a hybrid is what Steph calls it.

Especially the boots look very good with the frayed edges, giving them a pretty special look

You get all the cloth-parts in every available cloth-layer, for the top you get 5 options, blouse in or over the pants, vest alone or vest with blouse, again in or over the pants.

And i haven’t even told you the best part of the outfit, it’s dirt cheap for a pair of good looking boots, not to mention a complete outfit.

XTC Leather - Constrictor and Cobra

Xaviar has been busy again (so much so that the girls are running sales behind his back!)

Introducing Constrictor, the cool sleeveless catsuit modeled by little old me, and Cobra, the cool trench-coat and lace body modeled by my dear lelo.

Constrictor has great stud highlights on the gloves and the front of the pants legs (hidden by my boots here), and a terrific design, generally.

Authentic as heck highlights and seams.. this is some of Xaviar’s best work, no doubt about it.

The box contains a simple shirt and pants layer, and a pair of gloves. Cover in cool accessories or leave bare, you’ll look awesome either way :)

I’m wearing Cobra here, which basically consists of 3 outfits.

First there is the leather straps body, which is quite revealing in all the right places.. or so i’m told. *winks*

Then you can add the fun looking net body stocking, and i say add because the straps body is part of the net stocking.

The net stocking has a very fun design and isn’t the usual boring net texture you see all over SL.

On top of those you can add the leather trench coat, which is a great idea but without mesh it has the usual SL short comings.

Finally you’ll find matching gloves, which come with or without the net texture, and ankle straps in the box.

Great basic outfit, very sexy and still very safe, as usual the leather looks good, just add you favorite jacket and/or corset and you’ll be the center of attention in this.

Immerschoen - Jenny and Tina plus Ankle Boots

Nici called us nearly two weeks back with some awesome new outfits, but between all the cool stuff coming out lately, they got pushed to the back of the closet.

They’re new, and it’s entirely my fault you haven’t heard about them before, ok? Sorry!

Introducing (so to speak) Jenny (the awesome pants outfit modeled by me) and Tina (the awesome shorts outfit modeled by lelo).

Aside from coming in all layers, Jenny has a number of versions : the strap bra over black mesh (shown here), over a white long-sleeved lace top, or by itself. Oddly, there’s only one pair of pants in the box... well, all you need is one pair, I suppose ;)

Also new are the cool little ankle boots with pyramid studs around the ankles : there’s a buckle strap version, and a laced up version to complement any outfit.

The boots are v2 only so you’ll need your own invisiprims if you’re a die-hard v1 user ;)

Don’t be fooled by the name, this isn’t a dress, but a great looking leather high waisted short.

the details are very good, giving you a combination of belts, lacing and a zipper, i guess she ran out of Velcro. *winks*

The box contains 11 clothing items, giving you 3 options for the top: no top, belt top and net undershirt, these come in all layers so you can do the usual mixing and matching.

Matching net gloves and a pose stand complete the outfit. Sadly the leather bedboots are part of the pants and not available as sock layer.

I’m completing the outfit with the Immerschoen “laced” ankle boots, have a look at the prim laces on these, someone has been bending prims into submission.

A very nice extra and something every designer should add is a note telling you what the model on the vendor pic is wearing down to the skin, we love service like that.

Real Restraints - Vixen Leather Cuffs

A tip from Pet, a call to Marine, and lelo is once again tightly restrained - the International Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to lelo will have a fit!

Introducing the awesome Vixen Leather Cuffs by Marine Kelley.

This is quite a complete and versatile kit, as you see from the pictures. The posture collar looks great, and has a convincing feel of solidity.

As with the armbinder we reviewed, I’m impressed with the authenticity of the designs. These toys were made after examining closely (and spending time in) good, solid leather restraints.

New and improved cuffs by the one and only Marine Kelley, Miss RLV herself.

In the box you’ll find 9 items, not including the 3 manuals, yes these cuffs come fully loaded.

There really are way too many options in them to list here and do them all justice. So here are the ones that caught my eye.

Most of the good “old” options of the metal cuffs which are in my opinion the, till now, best restrictive cuffs in SL can be found in these.

The collar gives you 4 options, from a basic leather collar to the high posture collar shown here.

The yoke is a great new feature, the adjustment is a piece of cake and the sound effects are great fun.

Finally i want to point out the vixen texture options, making it possible to match the cuffs to most outfits.

DeVicious - Hardline

Pet tipped us to this lovely free outfit by DeVicious a while back, and as it’s a new store, it was worth investigating a bit.

We went to visit the main location, and I was impressed. Large and airy place, cool futuristic-looking vendors, and already a nice selection of outfits and boots.

Hardline is not just a pair of pants tossed in a box. This is a complete outfit, with v1 and v2 versions for the boots (though you’ll want to take a moment to edit the included invisiprims).

The pants and the back of the blouse have a fairly scary death head motif.. I’ll mostly wear my hair long over that one ;) The boots are quite good, with a fashionable fold-down.

There are even face and body lights included. And if you picked up Hardline at one of the numerous vendors scattered across SL malls, there’s a 50L$ store card to draw you to the main store.

Keep an eye on DeVicious.. it’s going places, and we’ll be here to show you the cool new designs as they arrive :)

Our little übershopper Pet found us this great offer from DeVicious.

A quick call with the owner Steph confirmed that the store is still pretty new, she started it January 13th, not that Steph is new to the game.

DeVicious main focus is club wear, good thing that latex is the current in vogue material for clubwear.

At this time she is launching one new outfit and one pair of shoes/boots a week, so you’ll be seeing more of her i’m sure.

We won’t tell you where you can find the freebie, give the shop a good look, you might find more stuff you like.

XTC - Bloodstone and Garnet

We have some pretty awesome news : our favorite male model, Seph Ishelwood, has returned from his sabbatical, and we pounced on him and covered him in XTC Leather ;)

He’s wearing the very cool Bloodstone outfit, and Xaviar did it again, making a men’s leather outfit which looks good, and is neither too over-the-top nor boring.

I’m modeling the matching-colored Garnet outfit, a detailed top and hotpants combo with Xaviar’s signature arm and leg bands. The rich red color is just gorgeous, but may be tricky to match to shoes and accessories.

A few nice prim ties are included for a touch of realism. There’s a version of the top and the shorts without armbands, if you don’t care for them.

A note about the vendor pic : Xav ran a model search, and Ceara was February’s winner.

Congratulations, sweetie, and thanks for showing off XTC so nicely!

Here’s proof that Xaviar also makes great leather clothing for men : unlike most stores we know, half his store is dedicated to the guys.

Seph is wearing the Bloodstone, which has lovely lacing down the sides and as usual a great leather texture.

Bax Coen Design - Ankle Boots Leather

Bax is famous, that won’t come as a surprise to you.

And what’s not to love? Painstaking sculpt work and photographic-detail textures, with warm friendly service at her gorgeous store on top of all that like a cherry on a sundae :)

So it was a pleasure to discover her latest design : leather ankle boots.

We’ve owned and loved the patent ankle boots for a long time. Got a fetish outfit that needs good heels? Bax! It’s nearly automatic with us, as we model quite a bit of shiny stuff ;)

But while there’s no law that says you can’t wear patent boots with leather pants.. let’s say I’m really, really happy to see those lovelies.

Bax is always a joy to chat with. And despite our large time difference, I manage to catch her now and then.

She mentioned she’ll be upgrading her older ankle boots to match the new developments in these (v1 and v2 compatibility, removable scripts) in the next few days. Just drop by the store and visit the update station.

PS : Our studio lighting and white background don't do justice to the white boots - the texture is detailed and gorgeous, go see for yourself!

Bax is back with some improvements on her ankle boots, Mistress almost lives in her old ones so she jumped at the news.

The first change is the texture, instead of the patent leather of the old you now get lovely soft looking leather.

The other and bigger change is in the scripting, she has reworked the scripts to make them work more smoothly.

Another feature of the script is that there is an option to remove the used scripts from the boots, sim owners will love you for that, tip from Bax “make backup copies of your boots, that’s why I made them copy”.

Finally there is the V1-V2 issue which Bax has addressed in her usual, the customer comes first, way : the first time you wear the boots, they ask which viewer you use and rezz the invisiprims as needed. (that’s how you get a high service grade)

XTC Leather - Amethyst

Introducing Xaviar’s latest SL beautification project, a cool, simple outfit called Amethyst (or Amethyst Noir if you prefer black).

The texture is excellent : folds, reflections, seams, glue ripples... I think Xav works in a leather store by day and makes SL clothes at night.

I love the short bolero top, and the just-off-the-shoulder design shows a generous amount of skin if you want to go that way.

Amethyst can also be the base for a terrific bike babe outfit - it looks amazing with my Cipher jacket, for example.

The shirt layer top will let you wear something under, and something over. No real reason to clutter your inventory with more layers.

Some new leather from XTC is always a treat even if the bikini makes you feel naked.

Though strange as it may sound coming from the girl dressed in skin tight latex most of the time, this really makes me blush.

The package contains the bikini pants, in underwear layer, the pants, in pants layer and the top, and yes you guessed it in top layer. *winks*

What this kit misses in diversity is made up by the usual high texture quality we have come to expect from Xaviar and the more than reasonable price.

You should know the drill by now..run, run, buy, buy... *smiles*

MayCreations - Xtreme Snake Leather Boots

Some nice new ankle boots for my (surprisingly small) collection, these are the Xtreme Snake Leather boots from MayCreations.

As they’re v2 only (theoretically), I had to do a bit of work to be able to wear them (attach to lower leg, fit, wear invisiprims) but they are totally worth the few minutes of effort.

The shape is quite elegant, and the laces and ankle straps are works of art. The texture is a fun snake skin print, so I wore my semi-matching Alien Leather catsuit

Maymay and her sweetie Morton are totally into the biker lifestyle, and the store is an absolutely cool hangar.. do visit and have a look, it’s worth seeing.

It’s been a while since a pair of boots in a mall vendor caught our eye but these did.

For me it was the impossible high arch and spiked heel with the lethal metal tip that caught my eye.

The prim work is very good, someone spent some good time on the laces and the fun little belts around the ankle.

The boots come with a simple, free walk AO, which you can use in case you don’t have your own AO, so no sexy walk in the boots, sim owners will thank you for that.

Resizing is simple, just stand on the supplied pose stand and the built-in re-sizer comes to life.

Great fashion boots with a definite kinky edge, now please make them with a hidden platform and we are bang on in Vogue. *smiles*

Bare Rose - Draida

Legend of the Seeker put medieval leather catsuits (a historically accurate portrayal, I feel certain) in the eye of tv viewers with the naughty Mord-Sith warriors.

This lovely outfit by Bare Rose, called Draida, is probably inspired by the Mord-Sith leather uniform, but it shows a lot more cleavage than the television show - we *do* have fewer stabbings to the chest to fear in Second Life.

The outfit comes in black and brown, and an assortment of prims to make the catsuit more armor-like. I kept the shoulder pads, but I feel the others add a bit too much bulk.

The included boots are not really earth-shattering either, but this is a good example of keeping the bits you like in an outfit rather than throwing out the baby with the bath water.

And if I can’t handle a sword so well in Bax Prestige boots... well, it’s just a chance I’ll have to take. ;)

While checking our list we found that we hadn’t been to Bare Rose in ages, so it was time for a little shopping trip.

It was amazing to see how little the store had changed in all that time, only the offer on the vendor seem to have changed.

Bare Rose still has that anime feel to most of its costumes and the sim itself, very lovely.

The outfits are original and maybe not to every ones taste, but there is so much to choose from it will be hard not to find something to your liking.

And last but not least, prices are very low, even campers can look good at these prices. *smiles*

Jaimie Earst Fashion - BDSM Doll

We hadn’t visited Latexia space station in a while, and as usual, we found new stores, and cool new designs : this one, for example, is the BDSM Doll by Jaimie Earst.

Now while this is meant as a Barbie outfit, complete with valve in the back and plastic skin (not shown here), it’s also a quite effective leather slave outfit.

It’s covered in fun buckles and straps, and the leather texture is visible from a good distance.

No shoes are included, so lelo complemented with her own KDC Needle Ballets, which go admirably well with the stockings.

A good-looking outfit, with good prims complementing the look. It’s always a joy to discover a new designer, and I look forward to seeing more designs by Jaimie

This one caught my eye for a change, i know i doesn’t happen that often with an outfit without ballets so i added them myself. *smiles*

All the other items you see are in the box you get after you rez the magic little updater that will fetch you the latest edition of the outfit.

In cloth layer you get a good looking leather corset, with loads of belts, there are belted leather arm and leg covers, also in brown leather.

In tattoo layer you get a good looking leather mask, which also has a pair of prim ear covers.

They even give you a barbie doll skin and a fun little air valve to complete the rubber doll look.

Except for the ear covers and the valve you also get 4 scripted cuffs, and the corset lock.

The corset lock controls most RLV options, the cuffs control the poses as you would expect in RL.

The RLV scripting is done by Needful PIXEL, and offers everything you might want from an outfit like this.

Great little outfit that will give you days, no weeks.. maybe even months of RP fun.

Real Restraints - Armbinder

One day I’ll stick Marine in a cage and interview her - in the meantime, we’ll present you with some more of her terrific work : this is the Arm Binder by Marine Kelley’s store, Real Restraints.

It’s a lovely thing to look at.. I suspect lelo is going to be spending a fair bit of time in this toy.

The rich red color, in particular, with the lovely light and shadow effect, is just the thing to put on a black rubberdoll.

You just have to love someone like Marine, she single-handedly dreams up RLV, makes some of the best restraints in SL and stays so humble.

Just look at her little stall on Pak, which hasn’t changed in all the years i have known it, some very big stores grew around it but the stall stays as it is. I just love that.

Another thing i love is this armbinder - it should be mandatory for all the dolls in SL.

You get 3+3 looks, as Marine puts it, 3 closed or full versions and 3 open versions showing the straps over the shoulders.

The menu will look very familiar for anyone who has ever worn a pair of real restraints, and who hasn’t? *winks*

You won’t be surprised that there are the full RLV controls in the binders, as well as timers and the RR key system.

For our fashion victims there is the “binder tex” plugin, making it possible to adjust the colors of your binder to match your outfit.

I won’t go into all the options you can find in the armbinder, but there is one i really have got to mention, there is a silent button in the special menu, please, please use it when you play in a public sim.

Now go get one, get yourself locked in and struggle your way out, Marine says it might be possible.

XTC Leather - Onyx and Richter

A lovely and fun new outfit from XTC, this is Onyx. It’s pretty short and skimpy, so I wore my long Python boots for warmth ;)

Xaviar dropped by the store as we were shopping, and it’s wonderful to watch a designer give good customer service. He said hello, went to help a customer, then came back and chatted with us.

And while we were there, Xav reminded us about Richter, a hot little croco party dress in a bunch of good colors : black, blue, brown, red, and violet.

Well I’m all for anything that leads to fewer crocodiles around (can you eat the buggers?) even virtual ones, so this little dress gets the Deirdre seal of approval ;)

Onyx is a simple biker chick outfit, but the people who knew us way back when will understand how this one is a bit special for us.

My lovely Deirdre used to have this look for quite some time, her first Leather Goddess look, ok so she improved her look over time. *smiles*

You get two options with Onyx, with or with out the arm and leg straps.

The little prim laces on the short, short, shorts and arm straps are a fun little extra.

So for the biker chick that doesn’t ride much bike, your new skimpy clothes are available from XTC, get them while they are hot. *winks*
