Sunshine Technology - Leather Mittens

Sometimes we send Aria designers, sometimes she sends them to us :)

EmmaSunshine, of Sunshine Technology, gave me a call and showed me her nice mittens, and we agreed to feature them.

One very cool thing about them is this: Emma followed Aria’s suggestions and improved the mittens, fixed a few bugs, and included a change log file in the new box.

If you get the mittens now, you’re getting version 1.2.0, which contains update options: you rez an update object while wearing the mittens, and they will get updated - scripts, not size, very smart!

If you got a previous version, Emma will send you the updater soon.

Great textures, nice prim details - gotta love the little working lock - this is a handsome bit of bondage gear, and the price seems really low to me for the quality.

This is the third new designer this week, seems SL is picking up again.

Tonight a pair of good-looking leather mittens by EmmaSunshine from Sunshine Technology.

First thing you notice with these mittens is the great leather texture, the second thing that sticks out is the company name on the top of the mittens. *winks*

The mittens come with a time lock or standard lock, when you lock yourself in you’ll have to beg someone else to release you.

You can also set the color of the mittens, there are 3 presets, black/red. red/black and pink/black, but you can also color the mittens yourself, down to the RGB settings.

Finally there is the option to set the shine on your gloves, making them look more like latex than leather.

Fun bit of kit which can be adjusted to fit any kind of outfit color wise, so add to your favorite outfit and lock yourself in... have fun...

Bubble Plaything

Deirdre:

Tonight’s outfit is unusual in a few ways. First, the design itself is pretty wild; you don’t see that much inflation bondage gear, in SL or RL for that matter.

Second, it’s not part of a store’s line of products. It was imagined by our new friend Transann (who you’ll remember from the Ballooned Girl Avatar). She got it built by one person, and scripted by another.

So we give full credits at the end of the post, but there is no store name; it’s available for sale at Stones n’ Rubber, in a box in the mall.

Bubble Plaything, then, is the result of this cool cooperation.

The shape suggests that the arms are bent inside, as in a straitjacket or our other recent feature, the Venus corset.

This is an everything-supplied outfit, including the pointe shoes.

I snapped the pictures from the side so you’d have a better idea of the shape, but just to clear things up unnecessarily, the first pic, in pink, is the front.

There you go: another cool, unusual, totally out there fetish design. Tomorrow I’ll cover some nice leather gloves or something ;)

A great bit of cooperation tonight, 4 residents combining their specialties to make a fun bondage toy.

First thing first, this thing is for the serious bondage bunnies, when you are locked in for the first time, you will be for 96 hours, the “training” period.

We are talking 96 online hours during which the suit stays lock and if you didn’t uncheck the IM button you will have some explaining to do to your friends.

During training and also after training you will be leashable if the suit is set to public use, and once every hour you can be blinded and made deaf, though luckily both effects wear off after a few minutes.

After the training time the suit will give you a few extra options, mainly the coloring options.

There is a all button or you can color all the separate parts of the suit, making your own special look.

There are more than 70 colors to choose from, so happy painting, the hood can be set to transparent to show your head, but this does mean a bit of shape thinkering to make it work.

All in all a fun toy, just be aware of the 96 training time, or buy it because of it. *winks*

Lady Anne’s Latex Emporium - Latex Mini

In a pretty remarkable change of direction from our last Lady Anne piece - the Yes Mistress III, you’ll recall - we have a cool little mesh party dress in shiny shiny latex :)

The Latex Mini has good shine and folds, just enough to make it interesting and not too much so that it would be overwhelmed.

Lelo has most of the details so I’ll mention Lady Anne’s new store, at Blaylock Island, an adult sim. She says it has “more potential for fun” ;)

It also has lucky boards and Midnight Mania items, if you think Anne’s prices aren’t low enough.

If you can’t quite get the dress to fit your shape, there are five standard-sized shapes available for free at the store. Maybe examine the sliders if you don’t want to give up your own face ;)

Seems we have another designer finding out how to make mesh clothing, it’s Anne from Lady Anne’s.

Her first product, or at least the first she showed us, is a little black, red, pink, blue dress.

The design is simple and as a regular reader you know that means good, i’m a sucker for floaty little dresses like this.

Only real downside it that the skirt doesn’t flow in the wind while you walk along, so you just stare at the moving of your hiney. *winks*

The dress comes in 5 sizes that should fit most people in SL, as usual i had to slip into my mesh fitting AV and let gravity pull the girls down into the dress.

A fun must have party dress and if this is a first attempt at mesh i can’t wait for her next project... ballets maybe... *smiles*

Sophie’s Shop - Venus Corset 2

A striking long (long!) line corset, this is the Venus Corset 2, by Sophie Preiss. Venus de Milo = armless. No, I had never heard that one either.

That’s another MD discovery - the moans as the wearer faints are hard to miss ;)

We showed you a Sophie creation in 2011, the Pipe Stem corset so I’d say we were way overdue for another.

The Venus 2 is mesh, and encases the arms at the rear - it’s a kind of straitjacket corset dress.

The hobble skirt causes the victim, er wearer, to titter on tippy toes - very entertaining to watch.

This is sure to be a hit with dolls and bondage bunnies everywhere.

Guess who got lucky twice this week? Meeeee... *winks*

Another lovely restricting mesh outfit, though this time it doesn’t float, by Sophie Preiss. Be aware this outfit comes with a lot of options and i’m used to Hugo’s big big folders.

You get the corset, which you wear on your left shoulder, on your right shoulder you wear the control for the corset which comes with a trained and training version.

 With the training version you can lace the corset till you faint and yes you will faint... a lot.

The corset comes with a skirt in two lengths, which you can set in the menu.

 The menu also lets you set an owner, tighten and loosen the corset and turn of the sound and chat spam, please do that when you are in public places.

Then there are the add on parts, 2 collars, a hobble dress in 2 lengths with optional skirts and finally there are 4 skirts in the kit.

But that’s not enough for Sophie, she also includes a pair of ballets and ankle boots in the kit.

This is where most designers would stop, but Sophie adds a lovely catsuit that you can wear under your corset where it will never will be seen, or you can just wear it alone.

Last, but not least part of the package is a color adjust HUD which gives you the possibility to change colors on all parts of the combo by setting the RGB values.

So great looking bit of restricting wear, that will give you every opportunity to make your own special if restricted look. *smiles*

DeVicious - Poker Run 2013 and Strut

A new Poker Run version from DeVicious, with mesh leather pants - you know I couldn’t let that one go by without pouncing.

We showed you the original in August 2011 but I didn’t feel like dragging the motorcycle up into the studio this time ;)

The pants are low-rise and sport white tribal designs on the side. The jacket is a bit bulky, suiting a biker look perfectly, and is decorated with a cool playing-cards design.

The black with white parts is distinctive - I’m tempted to say rare. I saw a few North Beach Leather jackets with that kind of design, *ahem* years ago, but it’s just not something you see around very much.

There are cool transparent pumps included in the box, but I just think boots look better with leather pants. Pants and pumps are available in black, brown and red.

And duh, it just occurred to me to look it up; there is actually such a thing as a Poker Run : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_run

Fetish AND educational content.. it doesn’t get better than this, kids :)

Utopia@Design - Sagitta Domina

Another Hikari post tonight, and I’m actually thinking of making her name a label - I’m sure we have fetish furries falling in love with our adorable little friend by now :)

She was wandering, as she usually does, inspecting fetish stores and sending me landmarks, when she mentioned she really loved the new Sagitta boots at Utopia.

Well, Hikari picked them up, and nicely agreed to model them for us. Since she loved the red, she chose a Plausible Body “Red Cell” catsuit to match, and presto - sexy fetish furry look :)

The Sagitta boots, then, have a classy part-metal stiletto heel I remember seeing in the eighties, and a really good shape.

They also have the most stunning leather texture I’ve seen on SL boots in quite a long time. Between amazing reflections and colors, these boots are nearly photo-realistic.

The Sagitta boots come in three versions, named Domina, Lotus, and Oxian. The base color and the second color are quite different for each model, so getting them all is not a crazy option if your budget allows it.

Do visit Utopia Design and see the beautiful (and huge!) vendor pics and large-scale models of the boots - you can even fiddle with the HUDs and see the effects on the models.

Till now Elisabetta made boots that were right up my alley taste wise, rounded nose and platforms, yes i’m not just a ballet boot fanatic. *winks*

But the Sagitta is the kind of boots Mistress loves, spiked heels and pointy toes, and a good leather texture of course.

The boots come with a HUD that lets you personalize the boots to your own taste, first you get 6 presets with some great color combinations.

Next you get the possibility to change the leather, laces, studs, heels and sole textures to make your own combination.

The HUD also lets you adjust the size and sound of the boots and she must have spent hours texturing that HUD as it’s almost as good looking as the boots, well almost. *smiles*

There are 3 color versions for the Sagitta boots but the Domina is the one which is the most fetishy, still check out the others they also are very yummy.

Graves - Order

Deirdre:

My friends know I call lelo my magic pony because she has so many talents. Well tonight she’s a chauffeur, in a sharp Graves’ uniform called Order.

I think Jackie has this whole fetish/spy/sci-fi world in her head, and every couple of months, we meet one of the characters.

Order is suitable for a courier type: the briefcase is clearly full of scientific and military top secret.. well, secrets ;)

The shirt and tie are optional, and removing them changes the outfit quite drastically.

The cap’s shape is excellent, but the black-on-black makes it show as a lump from all but a very short distance.

Add some boots, a secret mission in enemy territory, and have fun :)

A lovely mesh driver's uniform tonight and i’m sure you already recognized the telltale Graves honeycomb texture.

In the folder you’ll get the blouse in all 3 layers and the panties in 2 layers. A pair of driving gloves complete the supplied cloth layer parts.

The prim parts give you two double arm straps, the collar and tie combo, a smart suitcase and the cap which can be expanded to house a family of 4. *winks*

Which brings us to the mesh dress, which comes in 5 sizes, i’m wearing the largest and had to make my breasts smaller, so better check the demos before you buy.

All in all another great looking bit of Graves kit. Anyone seen my limo, i’m sure i parked it here somewhere... *smiles*

Domina’s Duo - Captivance Ankle Boots

Deirdre:

Some more mesh goodness, these are the Captivance ankle boots by Domina’s Duo.

The sole is a fashionable platform and wicked stiletto heel, colorable in a variety of good tints (including what I swear is Hugo green), and red, which is a texture rather than just a tint.

The ankle strap has a cute and very detailed handcuff (zoom right in to see the keyhole!) and twisted chain.

The resize script is a joy - old boots that used to fit like snowshoes are a thing of the past, but sure aren’t forgotten ;)

The leather texture of the boot is large, and visible from a good distance; but it’s fixed to black, so this is a black boot with color accents. Tawny is smart; if there’s demand, we’ll probably see colored versions.

Excellent boot, very good price. Definitely worth dropping by DD’s :)

Boots tonight, lovely mesh boots by Domina’s Duo, they are making the heels longer with each new model, so hopefully they will make ballets pretty soon. *winks, nudge nudge*

The boots have a simple menu that lets you: resize the boots, move them around, change the look of the platform and belt and control the sound level of the boots.

With the platform button you get a choice of red, hot pink, pink, black, white, brown, blue, violet and green.

You can also set extra brightness and shine, this gives a very slight effect, but that’s good as the boots stay looking “normal”.

Now ladies, you are just a few inches away from ballet boots, time's a wastin... *winks*

Kcreations - Panel Dress

Kat keeps her mesh streak going strong with this gorgeous leather sleeveless dress, called simply Panel Dress. I have to talk to her about jazzing up those names ;)

Kat knows shapes. I always try on mesh without alphas, and the XS fit me 98% out of the box.

Speaking of alphas, she has thoughtfully included the textures, full mod, for us users of older viewers.

Stacking alphas is one feature I look forward to when we let go of Phoenix, on avatar baking release day; but we’re not holding our breath, to say the least.

If the amazing tints you get on your new leather dress from the included HUD aren't enough, an inexpensive Antique Leather Texture Pack is available with four awesome leather textures. I’m wearing the darkest (chocolate!) in our second pic.

A neat mesh dress by the queen of free catsuits, Kat Fetisov, tonight.

The dress comes in 5 sizes and as Mistress already said, the shape is very good, though i did have to lower my breasts for the perfect fit.

The shape is great but that’s not what makes this dress special, the special part are the texture you get with dress.

You can select PVC/latex, leather and there is a antique leather texture pack, each of which come with 32 color textures and a tint and shine option.

But this is not where it ends, there is also a texture developer’s kit, which allows you to make your own textures and she even allows you to sell them, just have your customer buy the dress from her.

KaS - Mesh Catsuit

Smooth. Smooooooth :) KaS’s new mesh catsuit is just a joy to move your eyes over.

KaS is not the loudest advertiser, or the most active Marketplace user. Salid just works quietly, cranking out amazing content at her little store now and then, setting the bar for every other designer... and possibly chuckling to herself ;)

The catsuit is in parts, allowing you a number of good options.. and looking as closely and critically as I can, for the life of me I can’t see the joints. Very cool.

For fun (and experimental and practical reasons, of course) I tried on my black latex Bax Prestige boots over the catsuit, and they fit like a glove.

I’m wearing the Small version, and there are two smaller ones, XS and XXS. If you need smaller, and this is me saying this, someone needs to get you a sammich.

A note for Phoenix users, lelo and I both experienced crashes while editing worn prim clothing with the catsuit on. I’m not enough of a scientist to try it a few more times on purpose, but it sure looks like mesh comes at a price in old viewers.

Some lovely mesh from my favorite corset maker, in SL, Salid from KaS made a great looking all meshy catsuit.

Though as with her mesh dress, this is a catsuit system, giving you quite a few options.

You can select: high and low collar, with or without gloves and bare feet or pumps. Like i said it’s a system. *smiles*

You get 5 sizes and one corset size in separate boxes, try the demo in the store for the right size, but if all fails, Salid also includes a special shape in the box.

You’ll also find a HUD in the box giving you the a choice of 23 textured colors, with a choice of the part you want to color, next to that you can also set the glow.

[H]arsh - Cryptic Mask

There’s a new Dynamic Duo in town, thanks to the amazing Cryptic mask by [H]arsh.

Dari performed her trademark combo of incredibly detailed mesh, stunning textures and brilliant scripting on this little mask.

With my usual tact, I poked a bit of fun at her, screaming “Nightwing!” when I saw it for the first time, but she knows a) I love masks and b) I love her work.

She quite correctly pointed out that everything looks like something else, and we moved on. I want to suggest eye hole shapes and all sorts of cool mask shape ideas to her so we’ll see how much of my input she’ll tolerate ;)

It took me bare moments to adjust the mask to my face. It’s resizeable and reshapeable, so take a safe copy and experiment. I made a really thin wide version, just for fun... first of many, I believe :)

Dari’s selling this awesome little gem for 150L$ - ridiculously low for the quality.

If you were wondering, I dusted off my old Lady Zora outfit to match the mask.. I definitely need more capes.

Tonight we have a quick project by Darien from [H]arsh, i’m sure it must have pained her to rush it to market. *winks*

Still if you know Darien, you know you’ll get a well modeled, well scripted bit of kit and she manages that even with a “simple” mask.

When you click the mask a menu springs to life which gives you all kinds of options to personalize the mask to your own taste and outfit.

First there is the option to set the transparency of your lenses, next you can set the glow of the lenses, 1.0 gives you a heat ray that will put Superman's to shame.

There are also options for textures, color and shine for the lenses, you can make them shine like the sunglasses of a Californian highway patrol officer.

For the mask itself you’ll get 10 quick color textures, or you can make your own color by playing with the RGB settings of the mask, that is if you can’t find a fitting color in the 141 presets.

Fitting the mask is easy, being mesh it stays nicely on the bridge of your nose, though i didn’t have to touch it at all.

So planning a life in Gotham, need a mask for a fun ball or just want to rub a bank, [H]arsh has the mask you’ll need. *smiles*

Graves - Elegance

We saw the Elegance dress go by some time back at Graves, and when I tried the demo, I had problems similar to the ones I described with DeVicious’s Dream Evil outfit a while back.

I must now admit, I was wrong, and Steph Catseye was patient enough to help me get things right.

Mesh as it is right now, is made for common body types. When Steph (and others, I’m pretty stubborn so I said no to many others before her) suggested I modify my shape, I was firm. Clothes fit *me*, *I* don’t fit clothes.

Well. There’s theory, and there’s practice. In practice, to be able to wear current-state-of-the-art mesh clothing, you (and I) may have to compromise a little bit.

The change is nearly undetectable, even to hordes of adoring fans who inspect my body every night here - lelo and I have the most thoroughly documented shapes and skins in Second Life, I dare say ;)

With this simple change (a nod to the mighty force of gravity), mesh tops fit me better, and I can now model Jackie’s gorgeous Elegance dress. Yay!

The texture is classic Graves sci-fi hex, which means I can leap out of my dress into a space-catsuit and still be coordinated.

I’ll just mention that this dress will require the most demurely feminine seated pose in your inventory: knees together, ankles together, and don’t fiddle or you’ll see mesh fold itself in the fourth dimension ;)

DeVicious - X-Mas Calendar 2

Continuing our coverage of the DeVicious countdown to Christmas, we have two more outfits from the 17 (as of tonight) available at low introductory prices at the store.

I’m wearing outfit 14, named Dream Evil, which is an awesome set of mesh pants and tops in brown, black, grunge, pink and red (worn here.)

And like other mesh tops, the alpha doesn’t fit me. We passed on other outfits that had this problem, but the simple fact is that an alpha and mesh combo is a best guess for average body sizes, and won’t fit for everyone.

The answer? I’m going to pick up clothing design templates, and learn to make my own alphas. I can’t see any other alternative.

Oh, if designers include the alpha texture in their boxes, it will save time. Every time I hit the problem, I’ll suggest it to them. I mean, I’m not that far off here.

So aside from that little complication, the outfit looks awesome. It comes with sandals, which I am not mad about on my best day, so I swapped in my favorite footwear, which starts with the letter Bax ;)

The cool mix of leather and denim on the pants and corset looks really good. I love this outfit and will love it even more very soon when it doesn’t chop off bits of me ;)

As with the outfits from last week, you get a well filled folder, the catsuit comes pants and jacket layer only.

But you also get the shoes, the avatar physics (if you love bouncy body parts), a pose stand and body lights.

We were planning to feature Angelic Deception as i just love the flowery pink dress, i’m a barbie at heart and proud of it. *smiles*

Sadly we ran into the same mesh problem as with Mistresses corset, so be warned, if you, like us, don’t want to adjust your body to your dress, this might not be for you, still loving it though.

Better be quick and get these outfits, Steph is already raising the prices of the first two weeks.

Think Kink - PetCrate and 12 days of Kinkmas

Introducing PetCrate by Think Kink, a further development on the PetPod we showed you in July.

Lelo will tell you more about it while I mention the crazy sale the TK ladies thought up: the Twelve Days of Kinkmas!

Starting tomorrow (December 12th) at noon SL time, one item from Think Kink will go on sale, at a price as low as 29L$ (but it’ll vary), for 24 hours only.

Then it’s gone (that vendor goes offline!), and the next one goes on sale - so you don’t want to blink.

We don’t even know what will be going on sale ourselves; they’re treating it like Christmas presents, you’ll have to go see to find out.

So seems not everyone likes to keep their pets in a nice easy to clean travelpod, so the girls at Think Kink came up with this one.

The PetCrate offers everything the PetPod offered except in a more harsh style. There is a selection of 9 styles for the cage and 8 for the wire.

And yes a few are very rusty, so it should fit in with your local back alley. *winks*

But the big news is the fact that the new cage is mesh and that means a big prim saving, the original was 216 prims, this one will only cost you 11 prims.

The crate is copy but no trans or mod, so you can easily build your own pet shelter with these, if you are in need of a bigger cage, can’t imagine the pet you would want to keep in it, you can request a bigger one from the girls.

EdelFabrik - JayBee Dieciseis Outfit

One of the good aspects of our Fetish Spot project is that it got us talking to old friends.

Sarah91 came by and put up one of her awesome pink jackets, but then showed me this gorgeous new leather one, so I’m pretty happy to be able to show it to you tonight.

This new mesh jacket has the most amazing stressed leather texture, looking like a fifties biker jacket.

The signature EdelFabrik letters on the back follow the folds and look great too.

You can wear the jacket with an included blouse (in a bunch of versions, I’m showing you the knotted one) or in a mesh jacket and sweater combo.

If you go for the sweater, a hud lets you pick 20 different tops, some with pretty funny messages. The sweater covers the low-rise jeans and thong if you’re self-conscious ;)

Dieciseis (sixteen) is a full outfit, including jeans, thong, shoes (I hung on to my boots here but if you like flats they look fine). There’s even a tan lines tattoo included, and a cool necklace which looks like pretty fierce javelins while it rezzes ;)

Some lovely Mesh tonight in the form of a great looking leather jacket from EdelFabrik.

We ran EdelFabrik before and as we said back then, it’s not quite fetish which she produces, but Mistress just can’t resist a good looking leather jacket.

And this jacket does look very good, the cut is good and the texture is just amazing, a weathered leather jacket like this would cost you an arm and a leg in RL.

But not at EdelFabrik, you can buy the entire outfit for 289L$, but wait for a limited time only you can get all 3 colors, black, coral pink and white for just 429L$.

Doesn’t that sound like an informercial, well i hope it does, because these jackets look great and at those price a no brainer.. are you still here?.. *winks*

Latex Web Inc. - Latex Gown 2.0 and Lil’ Black Dress

Some nice shiny dresses from Latex Web tonight: I’m wearing the mesh Latex Gown 2.0, and lelo’s wearing Lil’ Black Dress. You’ll have no trouble telling them apart ;)

LG 2.0 has a more muted shine than the strapless Latex Gown by Latex Web (which gets auto-renumbered 1.0!), and Mariko tells me she used some pretty fancy techniques to create the textures.

The optional shoulder puffs (they really run all down the arms, but that’s what they’re called) are pretty spectacular, giving an original look to the excellent mesh gown.

There are wrist flexies, matching the gown bottom, but I skipped them in our pics. Some gothic makeup is also included, but I’m pretty picky about these things.

Add some nice big, black, Evil Queen Of The Night hair, some wicked heels, and you’re all set :)

It’s been awhile since we featured Latex Web so it was high time to check in on them.

The Latex Gown is a new one and the LBD is a bit older but seemed like a great addition.

Lil’ is good but this isn’t much more than a long top, you can almost see my bellybutton. *winks*

You can wear the string, top or dress which come in all layers except the tattoo layer.

There is a fun little prim bulge for the in the thong to serve the crossdressing crowd and there are implant helpers for most brands in SL.

The rear of the dress looks great with the lacing and the way it splits open to expose the thong.

So looking for a shiny black dress that will get you kicked out of most PG place? Here’s your best bet. *smiles*
