Euro Pony (Revisited)

You may remember a while ago I visited the Euro Pony sim, and was impressed with the setup there.

Well, the sim has been redesigned and looks better than ever.

The landscaping has been made more lush and green, and the barn has been upgraded.

Lots of skyways to test your pony's carting skills, and all the usual array of training equipment fill the sim, including a speed cart race track.

New to the sim is a puppy area, complete with a teeter board (see-saw).

Best of all, the stadium is still there, though it has had a lot of the extra prims removed, presumably to reduce lag.

The updated sim looks even more impressive, with a wider range of equipment to keep any pony busy.

If you have not already been there, be sure to take a look, its a great looking stable, well laid out and spacious to boot.

Working Farm Pony Carts From Unbridled

New this week from the Unbridled range is a set of carts aimed at working farm ponies.

The new range of carts include a plough, water pump, hay baler and a hayride cart, with few hay bales on it - for the farm hands to get around the farm, no doubt.

These new carts are in addition to the already available lawn mower cart. A puppy girl cart is also now available.

The carts are all made with role play in mind, but are also a good way to put your pony to use.

The hay baler, for example, will drop bales of hay as it is pulled along, and the lawnmower will obviously, trim the grass on your garden or field.

These carts are a great idea, and I look forward to seeing what other new ideas Mina Keng has for future additions to the range.

There is now no excuse for a pony not to get a run out, while ensuring your landscaped garden remains well maintained.

On a different note, I am still hoping that a tack maker, or perhaps, a shoe designer, will take up the challenge and create a nice looking set of hooves utilising viewer 2 alpha layers.

Would be nice to be rid of the invisiprims - especially with hand hooves.

And don't forget the pony soccer this coming Tuesday!

See the Pony Directory for this and other upcoming events.

Pony Soccer

On Tuesday the 22nd I was able to attend the pony soccer game held at Master Maxwell's soccer field. This has been arranged and was for 2 teams of 3 ponies.

Sadly, only 3 ponies turned up, so, being the trooper I am, i decided that instead of sitting in the spectators stand, I would tack up and join in, making 2 teams of 2 ponies.

And I have to say I am glad I did.

At first, the whole thing seemed clunky and awkward, no running is allowed and so once the opponent is past you with the ball, there isn't much you can do but hope they miss.

And so we went one goal down.

Luckily, my team mate was better at this variation of Soccer, and pulled it back level almost instantly. I was still trying to figure out how to make a sliding tackle.

The game progressed going end to end with me largely just seeming to make up the numbers. going from a score of 1-1 to 2-1, then 2-2, and 3-2 and so on.

But then something strange happened. Our opponents lost the ball, and Jo, my team mate, gave us a clear lead.

I have to admit, the time went really quickly, and I did eventually manage to get my name on the scoreboard, more than once in fact.

The final score was something like 40-31 and I was bearing down on goal when the full time was called. Being a glory pony, I ran a little further and hoofed the ball.

Into the back of the net to score the last goal of the night. Shame it didn't count.

It was all just for fun, and is a regular event at the soccer field. After the game, ribbons and a small cash thank you were awarded to the ponies and then a pool party.

It was good fun, though lag and control are two issues that weighed heavily on me at the time, I totally enjoyed myself, and would definitely play again.

So, next time you see the soccer event listed, give it a go, you never know, you might like it.

TrilobiteWare

A long standing creator of many fetish items, including pony tack, and one long overdue for including here.

Vendors offer a selection of hooves, tails, harnesses and latex catsuits as well as hooves and tails.

You can also buy a complete pony set which includes everything needed to get a pony started.

The show hooves set are lockguard and lockmeister compatible, and so can be used in conjunction with other restraining devices you may have.

One of the more unique items available here is the flicky tails - animated tails that flick and swish.. a nice touch.

Trilobite has been around for what seems like eternity, and so is a must-visit store for anyone looking to change or acquire new tack.

Be sure to visit either the main adult store, or the satellite stores.

The SLURL's :

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hundertwasser/166/234/312 (Mature)

On a side note, I have been wondering just why it is that no one has yet made a viewer 2 compatible set of pony hooves?

Surely, an alpha layer hoof set would eliminate the need for invisiprims, which will in turn reduce lag a little.

Something I feel sure many ponies would appreciate.

So come on designers of pony tack, why not give it a go and make the ponies of SL happier by giving us what we want.

Nice looking hooves that do not rely on invisiprims! Please!

By the way, don't forget to keep checking our Pony Directory. It is now well under way, and packed full of landmarks to go train your pony.

(Or if you are a pony, landmarks of all the places I have found so far that cater to ponyplay.)

And don't forget the Stores and Upcoming Events sections to keep up to date with your tack, and join in some friendly competition.

Icing - Equestrienne

Yet another riding outfit this week, this item from Icing.

I found it while scouring the SL Marketplace for anything new that I might not have found in world.

This is a lovely vintage or formal riding set, and includes a bustle skirt, crop and veiled hat.

Perfect for those hosting a dressage event for example.

This is a wonderfully textured set, and worth getting just for the jacket alone.

Complete with prim neck scarf, this looks great and provides a good authoritarian image when training or handling your pony.

Reasonably priced, if you are looking for something different to wear to train your ponies, this will be a welcome addition to your inventory.

MDC - Posh Riding Outfit

I was somewhat surprised and overjoyed when I received a package from Madame from MDC. Especially when I opened the box and wore the contents.

It seems a conversation I had with her before Christmas had provided inspiration for a whole set of clothing, the highlight of which for me is the Posh Riding set.

Containing a silk blouse (also available separately), riding hat, crop with pose, gloves and latex jodhpurs in bronze.

This cuts a very sexy, elegant riding outfit, suitable for any pony trainer or owner, or just those horse owners that enjoy a little kinky dressing up for a ride.

The textures are wonderfully rendered, with just the right amount of shine and reflection without being over the top.

With the jodhpurs also available in an huge variety of colours, and Madame may even be amenable to a custom colour combination on request if required, the options are stunning.

The silk blouse includes prim collars, lapels and shirt sleeves, and again is available in a variety of colours, so any rider should be able to find a set to suit them.

Added to that the bikini and boy short and sports bra sets, and the latex polo shirts and you have a complete wardrobe for a time on the farm or ranch with your pony.

Also new is the jophpur riding boots shown in the photos. wonderfully textured and sculpted, in viewer 1 or 2, you really must get over to MDC to get your set.

Your pony will love it.

The Great House of Meiji

While searching profusely for more landmarks to add to the pony directory this week, I came across a place I had not seen listed before.

Naturally, being the inquisitive journalist I am, I teleported right away for a look around. And within just a few minutes I was very impressed with what I found.

On first rezzing here, I was presented with a large barn surrounded outside by the usual things you might expect to see on a farm.

The grass in the fields was long, knee high in many places, and the pathways a muddy dirt trail. Perfectly in keeping with the farm setting.

All the expected features of a typical pony stable are here, including barrels, dressage fields and a slalom. A steeple is also situated nearby, along with a cart shed.

Set 2600 metres above sea level, this stable spans the Ananke sim and spreads over the adjoining sims too, providing ample carting space.

Still very much a new stable and a work in progress, and with a third sim to join with the existing two for the stable, this is a large and promising build.

And should you require more than just a stable, the ground levels of this idyllic island are just as impressive, packed with a variety of activities, should you need to change the pace, with a dungeon, pool parties and beach to name just a few.

The sim owner has also assured me that they are in the process of adding cart trails on the ground level too.

Feel free to explore and see what you think.

Performance Tack

On a slightly different note, I decided to dust of some of my older pony tack items, including the CCP bridle for the first time in a while.

And I was shocked at just how much less lag I seemed to suffer from as a result.

So, what I now would like to see if any tack creators want some new ideas, how about some low prim performance tack?

I will be the first to admit that some of the older hooves look less attractive than the latest sets, but they also contribute to a lower Avatar Rendering Cost.

What do you say?

New, low prim yet attractive hooves? Please?

Saleena's Boutique - Ponygirl Saddle

While searching the SL listings for anything pony play related I have missed so far - and yes, I know there are still plenty more to find - I discovered a saddle that had gone by unnoticed.

Naturally, I had to investigate further, and so i TP'd into Eventide - home of Xcite, where in a small boutique stall, I found what I was looking for.

The saddle comes in 2 versions, one pony and rider, or 2 ponies and rider.

And so far, I have not seen the dual saddle yet in use, but the note-card attracted my interest.

The saddle in pleasant to look at, and the texturing is modify enabled, so it can be re-coloured if you choose to.

Featuring a nice walk animation for the pony, and a gallop speed with the tap of the page up key, this saddle also lets the pony tackle steeple, with a rider.b

By holding the left mouse button and letting go, the pony, saddle, and rider are launched skywards, the height depending on how long the mouse button was held down for.

Whilst this is a nice variation on the SL saddles so far, I feel this may take some practice to be able to successfully tackle a steeplechase.

And so I bought one, unable to resist further and made the addition to my collection of saddles.

Rez the saddle on the ground like any other vehicle, the first to sit to it is the pony. A nice tidy example of a pony saddle that should enhance your rides out.

If you cant find the boutique stall on Eventide, the Marketplace store URL is https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/15595

or directly : https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SB-Ponygirl-Saddle-Vehicle/458439

Overall, a nice saddle, and one I am hoping to get some use from once my issues with the lag monster settle.

So if you are still looking for a saddle for your pony play, do take a look at this one.

Unbridled - Deluxe Pony Stall

While gathering landmarks, checking facts and doing my usual whizzing around SL looking for something new to bring you, I revisited Unbridled.

It had been some time since my last visit, and I was interested to see some of the newer items that are now on sale.

One of these was the Deluxe Pony Stall.

It is a small box stall, with its own closing door to keep the pony from wandering. It has a bed of straw for the pony, which, if the pony sits on, opens up small selection of poses.

Included inside the stall is a drinking and a feeding trough, and clicking the stall floor will let the pony use these.

But better yet is the stall has a second set of poses, for trainer or groom.

While the pony eats, drinks, or sleeps, the groom or trainer sits on the rug outside the stall, and watches the pony carefully.

Other poses are aimed at the trainer or groom, letting them mop or sweep the stall, and the pony will stand in their stall, watching this happen.

And don't let on, but the stall has a RLV capture to help you find a pony to house in the stall, if you should need one.

I found this a pleasant and attractive stall, and at just 16 prims, is small enough to keep in the garden or yard of your SL home, and enjoy a little pony play right at home.

And don't forget to revisit our Pony Directory often, and drop me a notecard in world if you think i should be informed of anything, or have something you wish to share with us.

Hugo's Design - Suba 2

Deirdre
A cool (pun!) harness from Hugo’s Design this week, this is Suba 2, a new and improved Suba harness (which we covered last February).

I think Erik goes South for the winter, so he thinks up light, airy clothes while he’s down there.

Suba 2 has more of an all-tied-together feel, with the straps linking stocking and glove tops.

The straps look terrific over a catsuit, as modeled here by lelo, but if you have a bare skin fetish, they also work well ;)

lelo
Suba is back for a second showing, as Erik seems to love his harnesses.

The big improvement is that you now get gloves and stockings that attach to the harness

This gives you a bit of a dressed feeling, well a very little bit that is. *winks*

As usual you get all layers including the tattoo layer and Erik kindly included some pasties, though i doubt if that will make this one PG.

Still a good looking harness is a must for every serious sub and mandatory for ponies, and this is one of the best harnesses in SL.

CCP

One of the first stores I visited in order to upgrade from freebie tack items was CCP.

At the time, the CCP bridle was considered among the very best.

Though other bridles have now come into SL, the CCP bridle still stands proud.

And CCP offer more than just a bridle.

Tail plugs, hooves and additional bits, arm guards to keep the pony'd forehooves up near the chest, and pony sounds HUD are available here.

Although many of these items have been available for a long time in SL, they still look great.

The bridle is less heavily scripted, and contains fewer prims than others available, and so creates less lag. Racing ponies in particular should be interested in that.

There is even an RLV third-party add-on script, although I can no longer recall where this vendor is located. I know it used to be at Stone Haven.

If anyone knows if this add on is still available, please let me know.

A full Deluxe pack, including hoof boots with hair trim, a tail, and bracers with colour changeable hair and fur trimming can be bought.

So drop in and take a look, the store is uncluttered and is definitely worth a peek.

The above SLURL is for the main-store, though vendors are available at most stables too.

It Looks Like Rain Dear

Christmas is coming, and with it, the time of year you hear Christmas songs on the radio so much, that by the time Christmas is here, you just want to bury the radio.

In a bunker. Under 10 feet of concrete. In another country.

But at this time of year, you also get to see lots of reindeer about. And SL is no exception. Which means it is time to dust off my reindeer outfit, and roam SL.

Looking like a cross between a ponygirl and a reindeer.

You don't see many ponygirl/reindeer in SL. So, here are is me, all reindeer'd up so that you can, should you be insane enough to want to pull Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve.

First up, is the wonderful Latex Reindeer set from Kayliwulf. Complete with tail and antlers, and worn with the Morbid Play hooves and bridle in this pic.

The Harness is named Wild by *SS*.

The nose was something made a while ago by someone, just as a joke, but I liked it, and kept it.

Mesmerise Dungeon also make a latex reindeer set, and is well worth a look.

Complete with Antlers, a nose, nipple bells and a cute fluffy tail, this set is a worthy alternative to the Kayliwulf one.

For both sets, I have used the Reindeer Collar from "It Burns" which includes both chest and spine version, and has a sleigh bell jingle when you walk.

I am sure there are other reindeer sets out there which pony girls could utilise just as well to give Rudolph a break this year.

Riding Boots at MDC Vanilla Pleasures

Mistress Boot - Christmas Edition

Just in time for Christmas are these lovely Christmas themed riding boots. Perfectly styled to wear with your favorite Santa outfit, while dressing your pony up as a reindeer.

Available in both viewer 1 and 2 versions, the texturing is superb. The boots are just the right sort of shiny, and with no unneeded prims to make them look perfect.

The heels are impressively spiked, without looking impossible to walk in. Which is good if you are training your pony to stand in for Rudolph.

The buckle on the boots will match Santa's belt too, so this should go nicely with any Santa outfits you may choose to wear them with.

Having said that, these boots are also more than suitable for everyday wear too, as there are no furry boot tops to date these exclusively for Christmas.

These boots are also available in a non Christmas version, aptly named Mistress Riding boots. Again, beautifully textured, wonderfully sculpted.

Again you get both the viewer 1 invisible attachments for the feet in Viewer 1, or the alpha mask for viewer 2 in the same pack.

These feature a smaller belt and buckle, but are still perfect to wear when riding or around the ranch or farm with your pony.

Whichever pair you decide on, I am reasonably sure you and your pony will love to see you in them.

Pony Places : Black Rose Stables

One of the earlier sims I encountered on my ponygirl pilgrimage in SL was Black Rose.

Back then pony play had never heard of RLV, and the HUDS and clickable items to emote for the pony were somewhat rare.

Times have changed, and I find myself having gotten lazy, relying on HUDS to do a lot of the work for me, and RLV to aid me in not flying when jumping a steeple hurdle.

One of the things that has declined, though, is the ability to emote for yourself.

Poseballs provide animations, HUDS provide simple emotes that spam.

The basics of ponyplay are something that is still held in high regard at Black Rose.

It had been a long time since my last visit, because you will not find Black Rose listed, I kept overlooking and forgetting.

I recently revisited Black Rose, and bumped into Mel, and renewed my promise to visit more, and I agreed to participate in some training.

Something I am looking forward to. I think.

The sim has a wonderful layout, currently in full winter setting, with snow and the lake frozen over for ice skating.

While you will find a timed steeple track, there is no score board. This is where your only competition as a pony, is yourself.

I find this refreshing. My Pc is now rather dated and clunky, and lags at the slightest hint of having to do something (honest, its the PC, not me!)

Seeing someone having achieved a time considerably quicker than your best is disheartening. So, no scoreboard to push you to frustration.

I must say that does give a feeling of smug satisfaction when crossing the finish line, having achieved your best time on the track, and not having someone else having beat you.

By a full minute!

One thing to remember though, when visiting Black Rose. This is a private stable so please do respect the rules there. I would hate to see another pony sim closed to the public visitors.

Around the perimeter are good sized cart paths, a well equipped stable and carts available for use.

And this time, I promise to visit more often.

SL Pony Play - Online Database

Deirdre came up with a great idea of having an up-to-date directory for pony play within SL.

Naturally, I thought this a superb idea.

We will feature all points of interest to anyone connected or interested in pony play within SL : locations, stores, links, and so on.

Sadly, it seems many sims connected with ponyplay have closed, and just this week came the announcement that Questionable Virtues was also to close next month.

As people grow within SL, so their interests take them elsewhere, the costs of maintaining a sim can sometimes get too much to bear.

And so, a listing of all things pony just seems that much more important.

As new sims open with a stable area, or a designer launches a new item of tack, one quick message to us, email or notecard, and it can be made known to all who are interested.

The SL Ponygirls Club group is currently used mostly to announce new things, but many pony enthusiasts may not be members because of the 25-group limitation.

A Web site, open to everyone, may fulfill the same purpose better.

Note that this is a work in progress, and there is still much updating to be done.

And so, dear readers, I urge you to let me know if you know of something that deserves a mention.

Drop me an email at Jaydana.Thorne@googlemail.com and I will update the listings. Events to be posted also welcome.

Thanks to Button Wright at FFF for initiating this idea in notecard form in world.

It is a shame to see just how many pony play sims and stables have closed since the notecards were written.

Check the listings for yourselves at http://sites.google.com/site/slponyplay

MDC - Vanilla Pleasures

Having a nose for latex, and a natural curiosity, a random search of SL turned up a rather interesting store called MDC.

On my first visit, a few items caught my eye, but on a return trip some time later I stumbled across another of my favorite types of outfit.

Now there are three riding outfits, named Hunter, Classic and Victorian. And all three look impressive.

Giving in to a weakness of mine, I purchased the set named Hunter.

Containing a beautifully textured red velvet riding jacket, complete with collar, ribbon at the back and cuffs, wonderfully shiny jodhpurs which the photo in store simply does not do justice for.

Also included are a lovely white satin sleeveless blouse with necktie and a riding hat. All prim parts are re-sizable using a menu and required almost no editing to fit my shape.

Priced at just L$399, this is a great looking riding outfit for any pony Mistress, and in my opinion, is worth looking at just for the wonderful pants.

Whether you are hunting on horseback for that elusive fox, or just taking your mount out for a ride, you can't fail to look good in this.

I can only hope that a latex set is on the way soon, as the store carries a large selection of latex wear, guaranteed to eat away at your savings.

Following on is the Classic riding set, again, wonderfully textured, a little more expensive, but I consider this essential purchasing.

The white satin Jodhpurs alone make this a worthy purchase!

And finally, the Victorian outfit -perhaps not so essential for most, but for those like me that love the prim and proper fashions of the era, this again makes a wonderful purchase.

A mesh petticoat underskirt, with a flexi over-skirt, all finished in a lovely satin texture make this a classic, elegant and stylish outfit for those that love the tight laced corset look.

Coming complete with parasol and feather tipped hat, this will look good at any Victorian era sim.

My only gripes are that the overskirt attaches to the pelvis, which is where all of my ridable horses also attach. Being no copy, I am reluctant to try to edit this to attach elsewhere.

Meaning, this is one outfit I will not be wearing on horseback. I would also have liked to have seen a version of the skirt adapted to look perfect when riding a horse side saddle.

I have a selection of Victorian riding habits, and some of them feature a second skirt purely to wear when riding a horse side saddle.

Regardless, this is one of my favorite stores, stocking a number of latex items too. Check it out - I'm sure you will find something you like.

Pony Places : Euro Pony Stadium

There's a pretty remarkable new stadium at Euro Pony. I recently got the grand tour by paolo Shinn, the owner.

As the stadium is 1200m in the air, it requires a teleporter to get to. This can be found just east of the landing zone, clearly marked "Stadium".

Once there, following the big animated red arrows on the ground will take you to the entrance.

Past the turnstiles, more arrows until you reach the grandstand. And grand it is : this place is huge!

Cardboard cutout spectators help to promote the feeling of being in a stadium, with a crowd, but without the lag.

The centre of the stadium is the size of a football field, and currently has a dressage field on.

Paolo mentioned that this will be changed every month.

Around the edge of the field is a steeplechase course with lanes for up to six ponies; the lanes crisscross at each jump to ensure no one pony gets the inside track the whole way round.

At the south side of the stadium is the presentation stage, and behind the curtain are stalls for pre and post race ponies to relax.

Bearing east takes you to a pony TV studio - perhaps for commentators to sit and watch the events, along with interviews with trainers and owners?

After seeing this, I was not surprised at Paulo's excitement to show off the stadium. It is impressive, and I am looking forward to seeing events held there soon.

Pony Places : Crystal Palace/Meriland

Continuing from last weeks feature on Crystal Palace, there is so much more to the sim that I first realised, I felt it warranted a further details.

Rezzing in outside the barn in Meridas, to the East, following the path takes you past a steeple course, which I have been told, allows multiple ponies to run at the same time.

This is as far as I know, unique in SL.

Following the path in a north easterly direction takes you to an old western themed area known as Shanatown.

Complete with its own saloon and stable area for ponygirls, the saloon includes a nice area to dance with your loved ones, while remaining in touch with the pony play aspect.

Ambling in a Northerly direction past Shanatown, takes you past a building I haven't discovered the purpose of and into Harlech royal Hall, where there is another pony steeple course laid out.

Continuing north past the steeple, there are some small boats in the water, in case you feel like taking a different mode of transport.

Passing the boats still bearing North takes you past the Great Hall proper, which has dance balls available for those romantic nights dancing.

Still going north takes you into Meriland, and into Vanessa's castle - and yes, the first thing I saw here was another pony steeple. No pony can get bored here.

Around the perimeter of the steeple is a pony trap (cart) race track, which allows for multiple racers at the same time, and the start is in the north eastern corner from the steeple.

To the west of the steeple is Harlech Castle, named after a real castle in Wales. The courtyard of the SL castle again caters to ponies, with a set of Royal pony stalls, as well as a place to practise archery SL style.

Still further exploration in the area wher the cart race starts will see a yacht club - something that when added to everything else here, offers something for almost everyone, pony or otherwise.

Lots to keep just about anyone amused for ages, and definitely somewhere I would recommend visiting.

And I hear that there is also an airport, car race track and more to find still.

Perhaps a vacation spot?

Crystal Palace

I couldn't decide whether this was primarily a pony store, or a place of interest, and so I have not labeled it as either.

It is both. One thing that did surprise me was how I had not discovered this before now.

I would describe Crystal Palace as a place for the more discerning pony and or trainer; cheap or freebie items will not be found here.

Rezzing in sim at the landmark places you just outside a brick building, which when entering you learn is a barn.

Beautifully landscaped surroundings and an authentic barn feel create a warm atmosphere. A small group of stalls lined with hay and a few carts are just inside at the right.

A small but well-designed steeplechase track is also just outside the barn.

Water troughs line the immediate area, and, inside the barn is a teleport to the store.

A demo cart rezzer can be found near the teleporter, and when clicking it you are given a choice of size carts. The carts are no modify so you need to choose the cart best suited to your avatar shape.

A word of warning. The carts are not cheap, so make sure to take the time to test which shape cart best fits your avatar.

Teleporting to the shop finds a rather interesting looking pony tail, a selection of drinking troughs and the carts.

Cart vendors can be found near the southeastern corner of the shop and prices of the cart range from L$1200 for the Cabriolet Practique models to L$2200 for Regence.

Note that by default, the cart is owned by the pony and can only be pulled by her. If you're a trainer and you want to own a cart any pony can pull, you can request customization from Alecia Ashbourne.

Sitting on the nearby carts laid out in store, you find a well made seated set of sitting animations for either male or female drivers and passengers.

The demo also revealed well made pony animations too.

The water troughs are auto height adjusting - the pony touches the trough and it raises or lowers to the right height, and is animated.

I spent several minutes sitting at one just to watch the full range of animations.

A tail vendor - again with a good range of colours to suit, and some pony animations - sadly this was offline on my visit, but I will be checking back another time.

Teleporting back to the stables after finding my cart size, I took a demo for a spin, and even running at about 15 frames per second (yes my PC is that slow!) the cart moved smoothly and fluidly.

Sadly, I am short on funds and so was not able to purchase one for myself, but I will definitely be adding a Cabriolet cart to my collection soon.

A designer name in pony equipment perhaps, but, definitely worth your time to explore.

Pony Places: Equestrians Barn

For the ponyboys that might, with some justification, feel that the girls have everything while the males get very little, I found this quaint and pleasant ponyboy barn.

Set very close to Frilly Filly Farm, and right on the main Route 9 Linden road, this barn is aimed at the ponyboys.

Outside of the barn is a pleasantly wooded fenced paddock with long grass, perfect for grazing or strutting for the fillies.

Exploring the perimeter of the barn reveals some places to sit and cuddle.

Inside is set out with a handful of stalls and enough items to ensure care of your prized stallion.

The hay loft includes somewhere to relax after taking stallion for a run out.

While this may be a small parcel, missing the expected array of dressage fields, slalom runs and steeple courses, its close proximity to FFF provides an ideal solution.

A short cart ride will take you to FFF and use of the facilities there.

For those without their own carts, a rezzer can be found in the barn, at the back.

The parcel is in fact refreshingly uncluttered, yet manages to be both pleasant and aesthetically pleasing.

Definitely a place to include on your SL pony play tour.

Hi everyone... Deirdre here, with a little bonus!

As we dropped by for snaps, we were lucky enough to meet the barn Mistress, Carrie Wyx, and her partner, Hastur Harbrough.

We had a lovely chat, and she told us a little of the barn's history. It's is brand new, about a month old, and was built by Hastur as a gift.

Carrie deeply cares for ponyboys, and even had a couple stabled when we visited : Stormcrow Echegaray, on the right, and Ravenwings Wind, left.

There is still room at the barn for ponyboys (I confirmed with Carrie before writing this!) so do drop in, boys, but be nice : no stampede! ;)
