Jaqueline Fashion - Ilka black and Julia multicolor heels

Jaqueline is the new Kayliwulf. We see her posts announcing new releases on Fetish Consolidated every week, and I just had to go see the new designs.

Well it turns out they’re good : this is Ilka (the black dress) and Julia (the nice heels).

The dress looks good, with authentic latex reflections and a simple and ingenious prim part - it’s fun to see everyone’s answer to that SL.. feature ;)

The shoes have an extreme, John-Willie kind of heel, that looks quite good.

Jaqueline’s store is quite large, as we’ve said before. Fortunately, the sections are well-labeled.

Ilka is in Latex, at the sim’s NE corner, and the Julia shoes are new releases, so use the teleporters.

A double feature tonight, an outfit and some heels, we just couldn’t make our minds up which we liked better.

The outfit, Ilka, comes with 10 items and gives you a few clothing options.

For once you don’t get every part in every layer, but you can use smart layering to create special effects and depth.

Best example is the jacket layer corset, which is just the front lacing, back panel and the red belts. Add one of the tops and you get the full effect, very smart.

You get long latex pants or this lovely short skirt, a great filler for every latex lovers' wardrobe.

The shoes come with hide feet prims for V1 users and no feet socks for V2 users, just had to put it in her terms.

You get 2 HUDs to control your shoes : one simple version with preset colors and one with a RGB color picker so you can get your skin just right, if you have enough patience, that is. *winks*

The shoes come in two versions, with or without resizer, they fit me from the box so one less bit of lag in the world.

Finally there is a sexywalk ao and a good little reference guide, to help you with fitting the shoes.

The shoes come in all kinds of fashionable colors or you can get the multi colored ones we went for.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Business Slingbacks and Patent

Viktoria’s working hard again - you guys are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here, I hope you’re visiting her store regularly!

Introducing two new models : the Patent Platform Heels (in pink here) and the Business Slingback (shown in blue with the very reasonable day wear six inch heel).

It’s a v2 only release - Viktoria has pretty much abandoned viewer one.

I fiddled a bit with my magic POC prims to try to wear the slingbacks, but they break my pants, so I gave up and let lelo model them too.

The shoes are all in Viktoria’s Version 4 line, so the sculpts are sleek and clean. If you have older models, I remind you that she will be happy to trade them in.

Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the Latexia Auction did fantastically well : between sales and donations, the dolls raised 157 937L$ - the reminder is of course that part of the official latexdoll uniform is a pair of VvB boots :)

Viktoria is seriously entering the fashionable side of shoe design, ok the heels are still pretty high but in SL that’s not such a bad thing.

First there are the, for me, super fashionable business slingbacks, which come in black, burgundy, navy blue, tan, dark green, brown and grey.

All the right colors for the boardroom and that’s where they belong... well don’t think you would get any complains about them in any other place.

The Patent, what’s in a name, are still very much fashionable though show a bit more of the fetish origin of our Viktoria.

These come in the usual bright VvB colors and the pink ones i wear here should be a big hit with the barbie doll crowd.

A fun extra on these is that, next to the usual options, you can change the color of the lovely bows on the shoes or hide then totally, though i wouldn’t know why you would want to.

When i put them on i just had a sudden urge to wear my POC Peggy Sue dress, they work so well together.

So whether you live in the boardroom or the dollhouse VvB has the matching shoes for you.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Beach Platform Mules

Viktoria’s still working like a beaver on crystal meth (and if you know what book that quote is from, you would do really well at Trivial Pursuit!), and the result is new models practically every week.

This week we’re featuring her fun Beach Platform Mules, as a neat not-possible-in-RL thing : put those on and go take a walk at Bora Bora.

They’re a sculpted foot sandal, and her toe shape compares quite favorably with the commercial sculpts we’ve seen.

You’ll need a little patience when you visit Vik’s store at the Plaza mall.. they have decided to honor the SL saying “Linden Lags” ;)

Ok something new from Viktoria, 11” beach mules, not sure how you could walk on a beach in these. *smiles*

As with all her new shoes, these are V2 use only, so if you are still using V1 you’ll have to borrow some invisi prims from an older pair.

The HUD has grown again and now controls the toenail and jewelry colors and you can set textures for the stocking toe and heel, for that sexy fifties look.

These are a must have for all you barbie dolls out there, so get your doll works barbie skin over to Viktoria’s and pick up your mules.

And for you fetishy beach types, there are 5 new spring colors : sky blue, hot pink, tan, yellow and green, just in time for the sunny weather.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Absolute Fetish 11" Platform Shoe

How’s the weather up there? ;)

All right. Eleven inch heels are not for everyone. But for the aficionados, there’s only one name in SL, and we tell it to you regularly : Viktoria Von Brandenburg.

Version 4 of those amazing pumps just came out yesterday. I’ve mentioned more than once how much work Vik puts in improving her wares. (As a reminder, the shoes are for v2 only, no invisiprims included.)

What I may not have mentioned is that she will swap old versions with the new ones for members of her update group - the least she can do for faithful customers, she says.

This came up as we were discussing, and I showed her a picture of a famous friend wearing her shoes - no, no.. I don’t drop names *all* the time ;) - Viktoria immediately spotted the old version and made a note to replace them.

So drop by the store and support the artist, mmmkay? Cause starving artists are bad, mmmkay?

Viktoria remade her classic 11” platform shoe’s and she put in all the good stuff she used in her latest shoes.

You get the HUD to control everything about your shoes, from skin color and stocking texture to the re-sizer - all are in the HUD.

You can change the color of the metal parts of the straps and even remove the straps altogether.

I still love that you can wear and take off the stockings so you don’t have to change your skin color.

You can even type in the three RGB values of your skin tone, if you happen to know them, to set it, but if not you can try the presets and change them around with the use of the foolproof color charts.

So get out your step ladder and get into these heels, the weather if fine up here. *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - 6, 9 and 11 inch Court Black V4

We snuck in a preview of the VvB Court Shoe a while back... Pretty much only Viktoria spotted them, though ;)

These court shoes are absolutely gorgeous, and they represent Viktoria’s constant exploration and self-education in 3D sculpting.

They are v2 only (says so right on the vendor) out of the box, so if you want to wear them and you’re still using a v1 viewer, you’ll need to get creative with invisiprims, as I did. (Oh, ok, here’s my secret : you go buy the Antilles Wedges from POC.)

The smart color change HUD made short work of matching my skin - I literally told lelo “That’s going to be a challenge - oh. I’m done.”

We’re both wearing the black here, but they are also available in red, dark red, blood red, white, purple, dark blue and Hugo’s Design pink.

This is a new release, so we squeezed it in before the holidays. ("Stop the presses!") Tell Vik who sent you, mmmkay? ;)

Ok fashion world get ready for a new wind, a wind coming from the world of fetish.

As you would expect the prim work is perfect on this, i just love the look of them.

The queen of platforms strikes again offering the court shoes in 6 inches without and in 9 and 11 inches with a ever growing platform.

The smart part of then is the color change hud which lets you adjust the skin and stocking colors on the foot.

Yes you read right she offers two layers, so you don’t have to change your skin to stockings you just wear them over your skin, sounds familiar?

We’ve been doing that in RL for a while now. *winks*

The choice you get for stocking textures is quite amazing, i wonder if you can find the matching stockings for all of them.

Ohh.. one more thing, these shoes are really inexpensive, so better run before Viktoria notices she is giving them away.

POC - Antilles Wedges

The Antilles Wedge is Powers of Creation's first foray into shoe design, and I’d say it's a great start.

It can be an open-toe sandal, but cleverly, if you change to the latex stocking option, the toes are covered as they would be by a real stocking, and not just painted in the stocking color.

A sophisticated control HUD lets you change options - in particular, if you buy the Fat Pack, you get a wagonload of colors. You can even change the sole and rim colors.

They are now available at the store, after a good testing and improving phase. If you want shoes that match your POC outfits, run, don’t walk ;)

And smart as he is, he sent Mistress a pair while he was still working on them.

Mistress’s keen eye, hate of V2 and diplomatic smooth talking quickly convinced Kai to improve the invisi prims for us *cough, cough* old timers.

Malley’s Fashions - MD Fetish Pump Black

Malley and Dragan saw our URL giver at Rubber Room, and got in touch with us.

We’ve had many people find the blog that way, but I believe a designer sending us something for review because of the URL giver is a first :)

This is the MD Fetish Pump, then : a cool fetish pump with an ankle cuff. Generally, that’s an either-or proposition : if you wear cuffs, you can’t wear anything else on the leg, so it rules out boots and a lot of shoes with sculpted feet.

This should be the first of a line of fetish pumps, with different models and colors - I look forward to seeing the developments :)

The pump is copy, so the notecard starts with good advice : take a copy before you resize ;)

This is a good-looking pump, with tons of good extras. Well worth the price.

Best pumps i’ve seen in a while, finally a pump with prim foot but no toes, i’m into shoes and boots not toes. *winks*

The included color picker hud works pretty good, though use it in a lag free, oops still in SL, well, low lag area.

Next to the great looking pumps you get a nice set of open collar cuffs and collar, in the same style as the cuffs on the shoes.

You still get a V2 and “normal” viewer option, aka alpha layer vs. invisi prims, must say this is one of the V2 options i really like.

Finally you’ll get the OpenCollar Sub AO in the package, a nice little freebie to sweeten the deal.

If this is a taste of things to come, i can hardly wait for the other new models, stay tuned to this station.... *smiles*

Sinh is a huge fetish store, which we’re featuring for the first time. This fun outfit is called DingDing (that’s a line of outfits) BlackRed.

eku Zhong - Apocalips

Eku Zhong may be the most sold and least known designer in all of Second Life.

After finding some of her sculpts used by some of the top fetish designers we’ve covered, we decided to go say hello.

We were fortunate to catch Eku and her sweetie Yure at a convenient time (they’re 13 hours ahead of Montreal time), and had a wonderful chat with them.

Eku’s been designing for one year in SL, but she also sculpts in real life, working in ceramics.

Her early designs in SL were photorealistic, but as time went, she wanted to make something more original. Certainly her latest designs reflect this.

We had a peek on XStreet for her work, and saw some but not all of the designs we knew. She mentioned getting copybotted and her work being resold so cheap it was the #1 popular item. The Lindens were less than helpful, waiting weeks before pulling down the stolen items.

She sells sculpts, but designers add their touches, turning them into unique, sometimes unrecognizable items. As Eku said, she sees her sculpts as soup stock - the base for something with more flavor.

She told us more about mesh and sculpties than I even knew existed. Here’s a link with something to whet your appetite if you want to learn more.

While fetish boots aren’t big sellers for her, she enjoys making them, so we can look forward to new and interesting things from her in the future

VvB Stiletto Heels - Hedonic Platform Heels

Viktoria’s been working frantically lately, showing us awesome new stuff we can’t tell you about ;)

No, I kid - but some really amazing stuff is coming soon, remember that you heard it here first.

This, then, is the new and improved Hedonic Platform shoe, and when I say improved, I mean pretty much re-worked from scratch.

As Vik says, “The ankle straps are roughly the same”, ie, everything else is re-done... and I’d bet money the straps were, too.

This is version 3 of this shoe, and most of her catalog is getting the same treatment.

If you bought an earlier version of her shoes, Viktoria is quite understanding about trade-ins... but at this low price, I’d say buy again and support the artist.

Well the queen of the platform boots is back, and she is has been working hard.

Her new line looks amazing and features her best sculpty work till now.

The platform and the heel are a single prim and the entire shoe only counts 37 prims, buckles and all.

We are featuring the Hedonic here, but she also has come out with the Absolute Fetish, which in name would fit our little blog better.

The big difference between the two is the shape of the toe box and as i prefer a shorter rounder toe box we went for the Hedonic, the AF is a bit more pointy.

Now hurry and get the best looking platforms in SL while they are hot.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Glass Slipper

We received a notice Saturday.. some pretty exciting news for shoe fetishists, I'd say :

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Hot Stuff

A good red outfit, just in time for Valentine Day, this is Hot Stuff, from Kayliwulf Kingdom.

The nice red fluff on the top is some of Lazarus's best work, like the pom-poms in the cheerleader's outfit.

Tricky stuff, fur, with a high prim load, but worth it. Just don't wear it to a fashion show, the models will kill you ;)

The toe sandals look good as always, but require a bit of management. See lelo's bit for details.

With this one you get a nicely filled box with 19 items, ok 3 of those are notecards.

Still next to the simple but good looking outfit you get 2 pairs of shoes and some nice jewelry.

One pair is a nice red version of the strap sandals and the other are the strap pumps featured with the Time Square outfit.

A little note on the strap sandals: don't forget to wear the invisifeet with them, or you'll see your feet peeking out at every side while you walk around.

The jewelry consists of a pair of ruby earrings and a bellybutton ring.

The bra with the flared pants leave more than enough of your belly exposed to show off your ruby bellybutton ring.

The fuzzy bodice is a lag monster with a render cost of 3407, but it looks ooh so good.

So nice basic outfit with a couple of great extras that will fill out your wardrobe.

Divas - Ambrosia

Holiday season, little black dress season.. and while I love my boots, there are times where you want something a little lighter.

I dropped by Diva's and was greeted at the door by the owner and designer, Bigdaddyfr33k Beres.

The Ambrosia shoes caught my eye immediately : leather, straps, O rings... what's not to love?

The straps going through the heel, in particular, struck me as really cool and original.

(What's more, they're a brand new design : released just yesterday, so I had to pounce! )

As with any shoe that has more going on than "slip on, forget", a little help is a good thing, and I got that at the store.

Cameras Oh, Bigdaddy's business partner, helped me with fitting : size and coloring... we were done in no time flat.

I now have a cool code I can say on channel /888 to any Diva's shoe and match my skin color.

The Ambrosia comes in a bunch of wild colors : 8 in leather, 9 in bright colors (called shimmers) and 6 in glitter, a wild moiré effect you just have to zoom in on and see.

The store is clean and easy to navigate, and there's a wide variety of prices for the more budget-conscious diva.

The sandals are of the already very popular prim toes variety and comes with a color picker hud.

The shoes themselves have 2 menus in them : one is the resize menu, and the other lets you adjust some options on the shoes.

You can save 3 feet for your different skins or styles, there are 12 toenail options, the buckles can be made silver or gold and you can hide or show your toe ring.

Great shoes for the up coming party season... ohh and guys one small hint, a girl never has enough shoes... *smiles*

VvB Stiletto Heels - Five Platform Sandals

This is Viktoria's latest design, a lovely platform sandal simply called Five.

Don't worry, you won't miss it, it's the only sandal in the store ;)

The platform has a great shine, and the sandal sports VvB's excellent spike heel.

Viktoria's main store was the very first to host one of our inventions - by this I mean, I had a crazy idea, and lelo did all the work - called simply, the Blog Board.

My thought was this : there is little connection between SL and the Web.

So how do store visitors read the bloggers' reviews? An URL-giver is good, but limited if there's more than one review.

Enter the Blog Board. It works like a vendor, click the little pics to see the big pic, click the big pic to get the link to the blog.

We've placed it in a few stores, the reviews are good.. so, in phase two, we'll place it in as many stores as we can, and give it away to any blogger who wants it, for them to put their own reviews in the designers' stores.

Feedback really appreciated. Go see it in action at Vik's store ;)

Some very high heeled, what would you expect from Viktoria, sandals.

These are the best looking non-prim toe sandals i've ever seen in SL, so no problems when wearing stockings with these.

They offer the usual VvB interface, so you can control the sound and the color of your sandals.

There are 16 colors to choose from, we stuck to the usual black. *smiles*

Some great basic sandals, well basic for the extreme heel wearers, which shouldn't miss in any girls wardrobe.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Black Russian

Introducing Black Russian : Kayliwulf's first outfit bundling their new sculpted foot sandals.

It's the usual excellent KK latex work, with naughty little peek-a-boo windows in front and back.

The dress goes really well with those sandals, and with the bundled AO, makes a nice assortment of bits you'll be able to mix and match.

Nipple exposure warning, keep it in mind if you move around from mature to non mature sims.

Didn't take Laz long to come up with an outfit with the new shoes we covered last week.

Sadly the cut-outs in the dress take your attention away from the shoes, be honest did you notice them? *winks*

Small tip: change the lenght of the included leggings to cover your calf's so they don't show through the dress.

The included hobble AO is great and even better the includes poses can be put in your own AO.

I just love the ruffles at the wrists, gives the dress a little bit extra, not that it needs that with those cut outs. *smiles*

Which brings us to the shoes, which still look wonderful.

KK - Sculpted Feet Latex Strap Sandals

You know how I love a good exclusive : how's "just released today" for fresh news?

Introducing Kayliwulf's FetishDoll X Sculpted Feet Latex Strap Pumps.

Toe sandals are all the rage - it's great to see real toes instead of the ugly standard "sock" feet on our avatars.

These Kayliwulf shoes compare favorably to other toe sandals that sell for three times the price - I'm not naming names ;)

The ankle strap helps you hide the joint between foot and leg, and the sandals are available in all 42 Kayliwulf flavors - er, colors.

The toenails are tinted to match the sandal, a fun detail.

Word from a usually reliable source (a certain Mr Lazarus L.) is, more shoes will be coming from Kayliwulf in the very near future - stay tuned to this blog!

The heel looks amazingly good and the foot shape is very natural, if steep, but that's a good thing in my book. *smiles*

i love the red foot-bed of the shoe, giving it a nice little accent.

The skin color can be adjusted with a easy to use HUD, though as i've been using a KK skin from almost the beginning i could use the default setting.

The shoes have the usual KK menu for sound, bling and AO.

With a prim load of 23 per shoe the linden servers will love these shoes, so we better all switch to them to reduce the overall lag inSL. *winks*

N-Core - SHARK

Some fancy sandals with prim toes from N-Core, these are the Shark model, maybe named for the cool rows of tiny spikes - they look like shark's teeth to me.

The heel is wicked, like the rest of the N-Core shoes, and the prim work is astonishingly good.

(A quick note : we get a prim display bug when zooming in, so there are no missing spikes or bits of chain - it's just our "camera". Linden Labs is doing their best, Linden Labs is doing their best...)

When you visit the store, make sure to stop at the counter in the shoe section (at your right when facing in) and pick up the freebie gifts.

You'll have to join the group to get them, but getting notices about excellent shoes and boots isn't a fate worse than death.

There are more on the second floor : freebies, dollarbies, and cheapies. Someone at N-Core clearly understands SL marketing ;)

I really like the way they hide your foot and replace it with a full prim foot/shoe, even if it's a bit prim heavy (200 prims per shoe).

The menu on these is even more impressive than the one in the Stylus shoes.

You can control the color of the most parts of the shoes, including the heel, sole, and the shoe itself.

You get 8 colors for the shoes, two blues, yellow, white, orange, pink, black and the red shown here.

The accessories, like the ring, ankle chain and spikes can be turned off and on and you can change their color.

The skin color can be changed with the HUD but once again in my case the preset worked fine.

The HUD has been improved giving you quick access to all the shoe options.

N-Core : Stylus Platform Xtreme Heel Black

lelo spotted someone wearing those great shoes at Bondage Ranch, and we just had to drop in to N-Core to see them.

A classic fifties shape to the foot, and a very well-made platform make these shoes a delight to the eye.

You totally picture Betty Page wearing them.

The prim work is excellent, the texture has shine just in the right places, and I love the ankle strap.

Service was excellent, and the store is clean and easy to navigate. The huge stairs in the middle are fun.

Shoes are in the little annex building in back... you can just walk straight ahead at the main entrance.

I adore these shoes, loved them the moment i saw them, and they come pretty close to my beloved ballet-boots with the heel height.

They look so uncomfortable, it's to die for. *winks*

After i had stopped drooling over them i found the menu in the right shoe, which gives you amazing control over the shoes.

You can easily adjust the skin color, there is a color hud but the preprogramed colors work fine.. for me.. *smiles*

You can change the color of the inside heel and shoe sole, the ankle strap buckle and if you want diamonds on the ankle strap.

Size is also controlled by the menu, as is the heel sound.. by the way did it tell you i really like these shoes?? *winks*

They come in quite a few colors so you can match them to all your outfits.

A small but very useful bit of advice from N-core: Make your prims visible from longer distances! 1. Press ctrl+alt+shift+D to open an ADVANCED menu options 2. Go to ADVANCED >> DEBUG SETTINGS 3. In opened window choose "RenderVolumeLODFactor" and set value to 4 4. Close window and enjoy right looking sculpted prims from any distance
