KDC - PonyPlay Rubber Bit

Another zero-day release .. look at me, all leet and hackerish ;) Hot off the pony bit press, this is the KDC PonyPlay Rubber Bit.

If like myself, you’re lucky enough to have a magic rubber pony, I’m sure she’ll appreciate the rubber bit instead of harsh metal between her teeth as she jumps. Ouch!

The straps have nice leather textures with stitching and prim rivets, and the metal parts are incredibly detailed.

The bit goes admirably with the bridle we showed you in June, so if you want your pony to look great and be seriously restrained, give KDC a look.

Someone must have been good, two toys in a row, looks like i’ll be bound all weekend, Woohoo. *winks*

But let's take a look at Kyrah’s latest creation, as she promised a while back she’s back doing pony gear, which is good news for me, half of my pony outfit is KDC, the other half is MB btw.

Quality is excellent as you might expect from KDC, the bit and metal parts are mesh and seems Kyrah can do mesh she can.

Kyrah keeps using her TouchBound system to keep stuff simple, not going into that discussion again, only say i like it and who has time to work your way through 20 layers of menus to leash someone.

Fitting it is also kept easy, just stretch to fit, easy as that, the bit senses the before mentioned bridle and connect to it automatically.

The supplied HUD lets you adjust the color of the metal and leather to fit your personal preference.

Need i go on or are you already on your way to buy it... *smiles*

Maison Broceliande - Puppy Fetch Game

So you have a puppy. Maybe she’s wearing K9 gear, and looking terrific.

She follows you around on your leash, and if you found good AO, maybe even curls up at your feet or whatever.

But if you want to *play* with her, here’s a cool toy from Broceliande : The Puppy Fetch Game.

This is one toy that actually goes to the owner rather than the pet.

An included note explains the mechanics, and another gives some rather stern rules for puppy play.

I was able to throw the toys (mouseview, click - dead easy) about 15 meters. Plenty for play, you don’t really want this to turn into a crawling marathon.

The fetching attachment worn by the puppy is transfer but no copy. You get two, which should be fine unless you have a kennel ;)

Ok, this isn’t a new release but we think this is so much fun we just had to show you.

The fetch game is a simple two part system, the owner wears the toy thrower attachment and the puppy wears the fetch attachment.

When the owner throws the stick, bone or ball the item flies across the field and the puppy can chase it.

When you get to the item the fetcher automatically picks it up and places it in the puppies mouth, please remove muzzle before play. *winks*

When the puppy returns to the owner the item is dropped at the feet of the owner, just like a good puppy should.

As you might expect from a MB product the texturing is pretty good.

Pony Places: Foret de Broceliande

On landing at this sim, you find yourself standing on a raised circular platform, to the west of which is the Maison Broceliande store.

This alone is worth checking out of you have somehow managed to miss it.

Going east of your landing point takes you to a wonderfully landscaped lake, around which is a path, perfect for walking a pony, puppy, or riding in a cart.

The southern tip of the lake path takes you to the training and stable area, where you will find the usual dressage, slalom, barrel racing and steeple events for your pony.

Also nearby is the stable itself, which is an impressive building and can be bought in the MB shops.

In the southeast corner is my favorite part of the sim, the circus.

Sadly, a note at the gate says this is closed, however the tents and such are still there, and must be seen to be truly appreciated.

Outside the circus tent is a high-wire - presumably for the pony to cross? I tried it - and it isn't at all easy - especially in tack.

The circus is a wonderful idea, though small, and I do hope Yhis continues to work on this theme. Who wouldn't love to go see a ponygirl circus?

This is a beautifully laid out and well landscaped sim, and totally deserving of a visit from any pony enthusiast. I recommend exploring the sim fully

Maison Broceliande - Switchblade Ankle Boots

Yhis called me last night, and the cat-that-ate-the-canary smile she had told me she had some nice new work to show us :)

Introducing the new ("So when did you release them?" "Five minutes ago") Switchblade Ankle Boots by Maison Broceliande.

Stiletto heels are nothing new, but you don't see a literal interpretation of the word "dagger" so often.

The prims are incredible, and the leather texture is terrific. And of course any boot covered in straps has my vote.

There is an excellent menu allowing RLV control as well as heel sound and color control.

You can color the trim, sole, straps, studs, boots and even the switchblade itself - handle and metal.

A little note : the menu is only in the top part of the boot, second strap and above. Probably so you don't cut yourself accessing it ;)

Ok, these come with a severe health warning, "do not use for trampling!!!"

Yhis came up with these boots after seeing boots like this as a tattoo, the things designers use for inspiration.

As usual with a Maison Broceliande production, ever detail is as close to perfect as SL will allow, she even got the buckles right. *winks*

The scary thing about these boots, and i'm not referring to the heels, is how little time it took Yhis to make them.

She sculpted the blades in a single afternoon, she is picking up speed but not losing her eye for detail.

Now if only she saw a nice tattoo of some balletboots.....

Maison Broceliande - MMMBoots

Some weeks ago, lelo spotted someone wearing some really awesome boots at Rubber Room. A quick inspect revealed they were from Maison Broceliande.

I called Yhis and asked her if I had missed a release.. she was fairly astonished, until I mentioned that the person wearing them was her friend.

So no, I hadn't been asleep at the switch, the boots were simply not out yet :)

There was still work to do on the numerous scripts. So here we are, a few weeks later, and the lovely MMMBoots are available.

Anyone who's seen a bit of John Willie art will recognize the boot style favored by Secret Agent U-69 in Sweet Gwendoline.

So, a gorgeous boot with stunning textures - zoom in on the leather seams! - and incredible prim work. What's not to love?

Woohoo... a new Maison Broceliande item... it's been a while, but it was worth the wait.

Well no way to get around it, those heels are amazing and i can just imagine them on a pair of balletboots. *wink wink nudge nudge*

When i saw the beautifull leather texture on the boots i just had to show them with the wonderfull alien leather catsuit from Brushed Reality.

Ok back to the boots or better the scripting in them, something you don't see in most fashion boots.

And as MB is primarily a BDSM label you won't be surprised that the boots are RLV enabled.

Next to an owner list and the usual lock options, you can change the colors of most prims on the boots, control the boots AO and change the volume of the boots.

A fun extra is the hobble walk which chains the boots and and slows down the wearer and stops them from jumping and flying.

Finally she will be offering free texture packs so you can personalize your boots even more.

Saddles

One of the less common aspects of ponyplay is that of a saddled pony.

Despite the fact that it is not such a common sight, there are plenty that do enjoy putting their pony in a saddle and riding them.

SL does have a few saddles available for the ponygirl, and I intend to cover all the ones I know here for your benefit.

The most common, and perhaps the most versatile, is the Maison Broceliande saddle.

This pack actually offers three different saddles. one for the crawling pony (on all fours) as well as a saddle worn on the lower back for the upright 2 legged pony, or a third over the shoulder saddle option.

The pony wears the saddle as an attachment, while a two poseball vehicle is rezzed in world, the pony taking one and the rider the other.

The pony then steers the arrangement like a vehicle or cart, using page up and down to increase or decrease speed.

Alikat stables have their own saddle which works in much the same way but only comes in the lower back, upright two legged pony arrangement, with rezzable vehicle.

This handles much the same and includes a steering HUD which is copyable and transferable to the rider.

A new saddle i have recently found, which is simply a vehicle rezzed in world onto which the pony and the rider sit, is from Cupidity.

A few of my friends who have seen this saddle in action feel the animation is a little rough, and the designer admits that animation is not their strongest area.

Despite this, I think the animations look acceptable for a ponygirl who is saddled and carrying someone much heavier than themselves on their backs.

This also includes a novel steering feature : the rider has limited influence over the steering. The pony can either fight the reins, or follow them.

I am certain that there are other makers of ponygirl saddles in SL, but the above are the ones I have found and used, and so if yours is missing, sorry about that.

Maison Broceliande - The Corrector

Introducing the latest bondage toy from Maison Broceliande, The Corrector.

This is a brand new item - it came out yesterday.

It's a lovely toy, and the fit is terrific (see lelo's tips).

The lacing is incredibly detailed : there is a very good rope texture on the prims.

The polished leather look is what you'd expect from folks who love tack : just about as good as it gets.

A new toy from our favorite pony gear designer, though this one is more a general BDSM toy.

The corrector is a very good looking neck corset with a optional mouth guard.

It comes in two parts, the corset and the mouth guard, while worn you have the option to hide the mouth guard and the chin bar.

As usual the scripting is done by Standing Heron and as Yhis puts it in the notecard this is what brings the corset to life.

Next to the usual locking, muting and leashing options there are a few special possibilities with this corsets.

It comes with the MB sec-chain option so you can link your slaves to each other making a long chain of slaves for the collectors among the SL Dommes.

The chain anywhere option is very good and chains to almost every prim in SL and for the real bondage bunnies, you stay chained even after a relog. *smiles*

It also has extensive texture (color) change options, including the option to hide the bones on the corset, so even the most fashion conscious slave can match this corset to their outfit.

One final tip with this one, set your (alternate shape) to a neck length of 60 and a thickness of 35 for the best fit.

Maison Broceliande : Ultimate Hooves

Some gorgeous new hooves from Maison Broceliande - lelo has all the details.

I like the rounded calf and the straps, the most visible changes to my eye.

If you like pony play, Second Life is well supplied with designers and play areas.. not always the case for the RL pony folks who live in cities ;)

A new masterpiece by Yhis Khorana, she improved the deluxe hooves we reported on way back when.

These new hooves are called "Ultimate Hooves" and i think, rightfully so.

In the nicely textured box you will find hand hooves, tall and short pony-boots, a good-looking tail and finally a pose stand you'll need to get the hooves to fit right.

The look is more realistic and the belts look great, but the thing that really makes these new hooves the ultimate is the scripting by Standing Heron, which is RLV-compatible.

The "set owner" and "locking" options are controlled by chat command or by clicking the left hoof (foot part).

If you click any of the boot you can change the color of the separate parts, sadly once again you have to change all the separate parts, but you can totally personalize your hooves.

The wearer can control who is the owner, the AO (on/off), the sound (on/off and volume), and of course the texture.

The owner can set the secondary owner, lock the boots, hobble and chain the pony. The secondary owner can only hobble and chain the pony.

The hooves also react to chat commands and there is a prefix system in case you own more than one pony.

I have worn these hooves for a couple of hours now and they already feel like a part of me.

(Deirdre again : I asked lelo to make a full list of her pony gear, so that beginners can have an idea of the investment required to make a good-looking pony. While Maison Broceliande are not the only pony gear designers, they are our favorite)

Maison Broceliande: Spurs with sexy walk bling and sound

A gift from my favorite ponygirl, the characteristic "shling, shling" sound adds just the right touch of Western to pony play.

They bling as well as shling.. I don't know how to turn the bling off - soon as I do, I'll let you know.

They're lovely, you'll probably want to wear them with your favorite boots. That works fine so long as your boots don't have a prim upper. Otherwise, you have two items fighting for the same attachment spot.

You could conceivably edit your boots and link the spurs to them, but that seems like a lot of work.

I cheated here and wore some Kayliwulf boots that don't have a prim upper. The spurs look fine with shoes too, of course.

The box comes with a silver and a gold version. They are no copy but transferable.

A must have for each pony owner/trainer, but that's just my opinion.

The prim work is very good and the points on the spurs are quite frightning.

The designer only missed one little thing, well two if you count the problem with prim boots, i guess that shows the age of them.

But have a good look at the buckle and you might see which little thing i mean.

Still with their look and sound, people around the ranch will know you mean business.

Maison Broceliande : Latex Surrender

Really good-looking kit. The pump-gag is awesome... psht, psht, psht! Hee hee. Love the colors, too.. dark red restraints are a beautiful contrast to the black catsuit.

Here is the newest creation from Yhis at MB: Latex Surrender.

Seems we are getting a theme going where on tuesdays: latex skins.

I won't list all the skins and hoods here better have a look at the nice add Yhis has made for this outfit.

The real special thing about this gear are the posture collar, the mittens and the isolation panels.

The collar sadly only forces your head in a somewhat chin high pose and you can change it's color none of the usual locking and leashing.

The mittens offer more: owners, lock, force pose, force stay, mouse look,no touch, bind back, bind front, RLV compatible, texture change

The most obvious part are the face panels, which you can lock, change the texture, a gag, a blindfold with a blinding hud, an inflatable gag which is breath play enabled and as you would expect it's RLV compatible.

A must have for all the bondage bunnies (Mistress's expression) out there, i hope using that line will get me locked in it for a couple of days *winks*

Maison Broceliande - Armbinder

The latest bondage toy from Maison Broceliande, a lovely and detailed arm binder covered in zips, straps and buckles.. hey, like half my wardrobe! ;)

Yhis was kind enough to demonstrate the multiple chain : she hitched up three girls and pulled them around with one leash. This may not be something you need to do every day, but it looks pretty amazing.

A note for taller girls: you may need to shorten your arms for the binder to fit.

Make a copy of your shape with different arms if you want to save time, and switch between them. Took lelo all of 30 seconds.

The MB armbinder is a thing of beauty, showing Yhis' talent for realistic bondage gear, and it's good to see that the scripting is getting better and better.

With the set you get the armbinder, a hitching post, a wall ring, a hitch column and a leash holder, all of them of good quality.

The hitching points are all copy so you can put them all over SL, and use them to hitch your subs to them.

As you would expect from a brand new bondage item, it is Restrained Life compatible, supports multiple owners and uses the real chain function.

A MB specialty is the seqchain option making it possible to make a chain of subs.

Another thing i like about the MB script is the fact that you can leash a sub everywhere and that s/he stays hitched even after a re-log.

Finally the armbinder offers many functions you might expect from a collar, like poses, prefix and channels for chat commands.

Maison Broceliande has firmly taken it's place in the short list of great bondage gear suppliers in SL, at least that's my humble opinion.

A true must have for every bondage dolly in SL.

Maison Broceliande - The Isolation Harness

A lovely harness made of slender leather straps, the kind which is sometimes called a "trainer". Exquisite detail, O-rings and rivets in all the realistic places... since we got this thing, lelo spends more time in it than out of it.

We had a bit of a bad time with the Restrained Life isolation scripts at first - even with me as owner, lelo couldn't receive my IM or local chat messages. This was solved in simple and somewhat barbaric fashion - I ripped out the scripts ;)

I'm sure it was impatience on my part; but when you test these features, keep another way to communicate with your slave handy (like an instant messenger of some kind)... just in case.

The gag is very good.. one of those which make the av mouth open, not a stupid ball that just sits there.

Yhis is a friend and a devoted trainer who has often praised my lovely rubber pony. Buy with full confidence.

As usual the attention to detail Yhis pays to her designs is clear, good leather texture, realistic fit. But the really good thing about the harness is the way it shows the how the wearer is restricted when using the Restrained Life viewer.

The gag shows that sending chat is not allowed, the ear mufflers that receiving chat isn't allowed and the blindfold show that the wearer isn't seeing anything.

The nose hook is a fun addition but the breath play gag is a bit much for my taste. A fun extra is the option of a plug in, in the kit is a ring gag that can be used like that.

Nice toy to have, perfect addition to a rubber hood.

Scripting is improving at MB, i can't wait to see what she will do next.

Maison Broceliande: Deluxe Hooves

I'll let the expert take this one.. me, I just like the clippy-clop sound ;)

Just a quick note : the store is airy, big, and a joy to visit.

The pony hooves are a great example of the love Yhis has for pony play, the attention to detail is amazing and gives the hooves a wonderful look.

When you buy the set you get a wonderful collection of hooves, for your hands and feet, ankle high and knee-high, black and color-able, with and without sound and AO.

The AO works very well, giving you a realistic pony stance and walk, and the sound enhances the pony play.

I myself wear the knee-high black version with AO and sound, and we both love the look of them. One word of advice: take your time to adjust them just right, it takes a bit of effort, but the results are great.

The store is on Broceliande where Yhis has her stable, a friendly place for every pony, if you are there take a ride in the hot air balloon, it shows you all the island offers.
