Violet Studios - Prey Mesh Boots

The Prey boots are an intricate system, available in leather and latex, in four different shapes with three different addons, and a color HUD to manage the whole thing.

The leg and foot shapes are unique - you’ll need to have a good look and see if you like them.

Hemi addressed fetish, fashion and pony; no reason for anyone to go barefoot ;)

This is a valiant first effort in mesh; I’m sure that things will improve with time, as they did with prim shoes and other things. (Remember freebie bling sandals from 2006? They looked just fine to us back then, didn’t they?)

The front straps are awesome, I have to give props for that; it’s the first set of optional addons for boots I see. (Firefox says hi!)

There’s really a lot of material in the boxes, you’ll want to make folders to help see through the jungle of versions.

I’ll reveal one of my little tricks to deal with big kits : I make a folder called Wear This, and put in there the right sizes, shapes, or whatever composes the outfit I will actually wear.

Sure, I could throw out the XL sizes.. but I’ll admit I’m a bit of a pack rat ;)

Another designer has joined the ranks of the mesh designers and Hemi went big with 4 versions.

The boots are called Ovio (the chunky heeled), Raptor (the ballets), Dyno (the pony boots) and Velo (the stiletto heeled one).

Sold separately from these are the back laces, back zipper and front buckles, these will fit all the boots and as they are copy you only need to buy the one you like once.

The HUD gives you control over the highlight color, the texture color and the shine.

And this for the laces, the boots, the metal parts and the sole separately, beware Hemi has her own special colors, so better get her catsuits if you want a good match.

Ahh and as the boots are copy, be smart and make back up copies before you start playing around with them.

Violet Studios - Raptor Ballet Boots

More shiny shiny boots of latex from Violet Studios, these are the Raptor Ballet Boots.

Thigh length boots still means a leg part and a thigh part.. some of us are waiting for mesh for very specific reasons ;)

The Raptor are very shiny boots, and they match Hemi’s latex perfectly. I love the length, and the lacing at the rear is extremely well done.

There are four versions : zipped, laced, zip + straps, and laced + straps - lelo is wearing the laced version here.

Hemi has been busy again and we were promised she will have some other news pretty soon.

But first the things at hand, some great looking latex covered ballet boots.

The texture really gives the look of a latex covering over the boots, very smartly done.

The prim work looks good, pay special attention to the metal reinforcing the rear of the heels, love that. *smiles*

When you get these boots don’t forget to take the free Unlimited 2 HUD, which will unlock a host of options.

Most important the option to change the color textures of the boots (19 colors in all), but you can also change the lace color, metal color and the soles.

The HUD also gives you access to the resize option so you can fit the boots perfectly to your shape.

Now for some more good news, a knee high version of these boots should hit the store at any time.

Next on Hemi’s schedule are extreme heels, i just love projects like that, we’ll keep you posted.

Violet Studios - Slinky

Violet Studio’s Slinky outfit couldn't be named better. This long slender latex dress with matching stockings and ballets will turn heads anywhere you go.

The high collar reminds me of some china dresses - although most of them have some kind of sleeve and don’t leave the shoulder bare, you see it now and then in modern interpretations.

The long hanging skirt may remind some of slave silks - good or bad thing, you decide. The stockings and boots definitely leave you more dressed than the average slavegirl.

I selected the folder and went Add To Outfit.. a maneuver that sometimes leaves me wearing posing stands, but lelo is good about it and doesn’t snicker. Much.

What happened today is that the studio lit up. Aside from my usual Sirena face lights, I was wearing no less than five body lights. You can see the difference between our first and second pic.

Be kind and select just the amount you need, mmkay? Friends don’t let friends glow like 500-watt bulbs ;)

High time for some serious latex again, courtesy of Hemi at Violet studios.

Small warning when you rezz the box, do it outside or you might ruin your ceiling.

When you open the box you will understand why it’s so big, you get 5 body lights in the kit.

Next to the lights you find the excellent color matched Violet Studio’s ballets.

You also get skin appliers for: eCorp, Icon, IN Uni’s, Lolas Naturals and of course Violet's own vString boobs.

The texturing on the cloth-layer is very good, just look at details like the folds near the bellybutton or the collar.

The outfit comes in the usual Violet Studio colors: white, orange, purple (worn by me), red (worn by Mistress), and magenta.

Let's hope Hemi keeps producing more of these wonderful latex outfits. Buying a few might inspire her to make more... so go go go... *winks*

Violet Studios - Latex Skin Magenta

Juggernutz Ivanovic, one of our friends and regular tipsters, is now giving Hemi Violet a hand, and she called us to let us know Hemi had a new line of latex skins.

Well the “skin” turned into a full-blown project. See lelo’s bit for the details, but just for fun, here’s what she’s wearing :

• matching Obedience Latex hair from Studio Worxx Hairstudio by Vii Bellic

and lelo being lelo, Slaverina Ballets by VvB.

The face has a slightly demonic look - it’s probably related to Hemi’s demon skin line.

Hmm somehow we seem to have stumbled over another theme, another big breasted post tonight.

We started looking at the skin so that’s our main item of today's post, but things quickly were added, it’s a dangerous store that way. *winks*

The skin comes in the old fashioned skin layer where you can use the tattoo layer to change your lipstick, or in the new tattoo layer showing good old you under the mask.

You also get no less than five 1000 watt body lights in the kit, so people will see you coming from miles away.

Finally there are the skin appliers for all available implants, including Violet’s vString breasts.

The vString XL breasts are pretty amazing implants and you can see that Juggernutz, implant fan from day one, was highly involved in the creation of these.

Of the many fun options i would like to mention the nipples and piercings, these are the first breast with adjustable nipples and 5 piercings to choose from that i’ve seen.

The latex hair is another great find and Vii from Studio Worxx offers quite a few different styles at Hemi’s store, a must have for every rubber doll.

Finally there is the neck brace, nice bit of sculpting which goes great with the overall look of the skin.

The settings of the brace are done by the unlimited HUD, a simple control HUD for all Violet Studio items with the texture change capability, smart option for our overfilled inventories.

Violet Studios - Classica Latex

A new friend and fan of the blog, Juggernutz Ivanovic, suggested we have a look at Violet Studios, as Vi had just started a new latex line. (Her store specializes in demon skins and implants.)

We love suggestions but sometimes it takes a while between the getting and the acting upon.

What that did for us is, by the time we made it to Hemi’s store, she had rack upon rack of good latex outfits in an amazing array of colors. And it’s just a start, apparently - watch this space.

Classica is a stunning outfit. I’m wearing as much of it as possible here ;) The smoky latex is undershirt layer, and the collar is jacket.

The middle fingers gloves are fun and original, the latex shine is excellent, like the level of detail.

With the included ballet boots, this is a full outfit, and while we’ve seen cheaper, for this quality, the price is completely reasonable.

Well you know me i can’t let a good pair of ballets go by, and these are great, more than worth the money you pay for the entire outfit.

But you get more in the pack, first there the lovely skirt with even better textures.

You get 5 lights to make the ensemble stand out even more, as if it needs that. *winks*

There are implant applicators for most common breasts, i just love the ease of those, if only everything in SL was that easy.

Finally there are the cloth layers, which offer you a few nice options like the smoky underwear catsuit Mistress is wearing.

Now back to the boots, even if they look a little bit to long, the shape is perfect, just the way i love them, you can see a ballerina's pointe shoe in it, and that's what i love.

The heel with the metal inset is a piece of art, the belts are a pain to close, but hey no pain no gain. *winks*

Now run and get these, only hard part will be choosing your color, the outfit comes in red, orange, purple, grey, magenta, white, blue, lagoon and black.
