This blog could be the VvB channel if we let it. I swear, I don’t show you folks half the stuff we see go by. Someone has to get this girl off the espresso. ;)

Viktoria is now firmly sold to the v2 viewer, and her designs are starting to depend on alpha layer socks. No harm in it, and a tightly fitted boot on the variety of shapes in SL can’t be an easy thing.

But my little trick of adding an invisiprim to the shoes breaks down, here, and I had to use the included HUD to enlarge the boots a fair bit for a fit.

I’m a little stumped. Short of invisiprims, wearing them a little too big is the only answer I see. What I get for not moving to new technology, I’m certainly not complaining. But if anyone has a good suggestion, I’d *love* to hear it.

There is no stopping Viktoria improving her boots and shoes.

In this version 4 of the knee boots you get the lovely hud we showed you in our last VvB post, this time it gives you the resize, trim color, eyelet color and lace color controls.

Mine are in Hugo baby pink, but with some simple clicks on the hud you can really personalize them to your own taste.

As with most new boots these are made for the V2 viewer, Viktoria offers 3 different heights of alpha socks, so you can adjust how high you wear your boots.

Great looking boots, you just can’t beat a high heeled platform boot, well you can with a ballet, but that’s just me i guess. *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - Absolute Fetish 11" Platform Shoe

How’s the weather up there? ;)

All right. Eleven inch heels are not for everyone. But for the aficionados, there’s only one name in SL, and we tell it to you regularly : Viktoria Von Brandenburg.

Version 4 of those amazing pumps just came out yesterday. I’ve mentioned more than once how much work Vik puts in improving her wares. (As a reminder, the shoes are for v2 only, no invisiprims included.)

What I may not have mentioned is that she will swap old versions with the new ones for members of her update group - the least she can do for faithful customers, she says.

This came up as we were discussing, and I showed her a picture of a famous friend wearing her shoes - no, no.. I don’t drop names *all* the time ;) - Viktoria immediately spotted the old version and made a note to replace them.

So drop by the store and support the artist, mmmkay? Cause starving artists are bad, mmmkay?

Viktoria remade her classic 11” platform shoe’s and she put in all the good stuff she used in her latest shoes.

You get the HUD to control everything about your shoes, from skin color and stocking texture to the re-sizer - all are in the HUD.

You can change the color of the metal parts of the straps and even remove the straps altogether.

I still love that you can wear and take off the stockings so you don’t have to change your skin color.

You can even type in the three RGB values of your skin tone, if you happen to know them, to set it, but if not you can try the presets and change them around with the use of the foolproof color charts.

So get out your step ladder and get into these heels, the weather if fine up here. *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - 6, 9 and 11 inch Court Black V4

We snuck in a preview of the VvB Court Shoe a while back... Pretty much only Viktoria spotted them, though ;)

These court shoes are absolutely gorgeous, and they represent Viktoria’s constant exploration and self-education in 3D sculpting.

They are v2 only (says so right on the vendor) out of the box, so if you want to wear them and you’re still using a v1 viewer, you’ll need to get creative with invisiprims, as I did. (Oh, ok, here’s my secret : you go buy the Antilles Wedges from POC.)

The smart color change HUD made short work of matching my skin - I literally told lelo “That’s going to be a challenge - oh. I’m done.”

We’re both wearing the black here, but they are also available in red, dark red, blood red, white, purple, dark blue and Hugo’s Design pink.

This is a new release, so we squeezed it in before the holidays. ("Stop the presses!") Tell Vik who sent you, mmmkay? ;)

Ok fashion world get ready for a new wind, a wind coming from the world of fetish.

As you would expect the prim work is perfect on this, i just love the look of them.

The queen of platforms strikes again offering the court shoes in 6 inches without and in 9 and 11 inches with a ever growing platform.

The smart part of then is the color change hud which lets you adjust the skin and stocking colors on the foot.

Yes you read right she offers two layers, so you don’t have to change your skin to stockings you just wear them over your skin, sounds familiar?

We’ve been doing that in RL for a while now. *winks*

The choice you get for stocking textures is quite amazing, i wonder if you can find the matching stockings for all of them.

Ohh.. one more thing, these shoes are really inexpensive, so better run before Viktoria notices she is giving them away.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Slave Doll RLV Ballet Thigh Boots

Pink is a color familiar to ballet dancers, so pink ballet boots must certainly make sense, right? ;)

This is a thigh high version of the Slaverina knee high ballet boot we reviewed before, but Vik added a ton of cool new colors.

It features the same great straps and padlocks, and classic tan leather sole.

Normal and RLV lockable versions are included.

The boots are at the right of the door in Viktoria’s store, near the ceiling - it took us a bit of searching to find them.

Well it had to happen and it did, Viktoria finished work on the Slave Doll version of the ballet thigh boots.

And it surely was worth the wait, the sculpts look wonderful, the belts and looks are great, so what could you want more?

How about color? She makes them in blood, blue, white, pink, red, purple, black and dark red.

Where the pink matches the pink Hugo Design uses, great opportunity to wear the newish pink V2 Cat hood.

The boots come with a hmm well it’s called sexy walk, though it’s more like a careful corseted strut, so perfect for most wearers of these boots *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - Mistress of the Hunt and Daemonatrix

I dusted off my Latex Desire Victorian Latex for this shoot to do justice to these incredible riding boots : Mistress of the Hunt, by VvB.

They’re a v3 (which is to say, new and improved to Viktoria’s latest standards) thigh high riding boot with extreme heels, platforms, and spurs.

And it may say something about me that I think “bedroom” rather than “horseback riding” when I reread this description.

Those would look absolutely striking on jodhpurs - I’ll have to break down and get a pair one day.

Definitely a pony play must. Hey, I should show them to Jaydana! ;)

The heels and platforms on the Daemonatrix i’m wearing, are the usual quality you expect from VvB.

This time there are no laces you can color but you can color the metal parts on these boots in quite a few, metallic, colors.

It’s a good thing i wear a tight corset most of the time or the points on the top of the boots would prevent me from sitting. Winks*

I only had to stretch the invisi prims a little bit to hide my pony calf's.

Not quite my style but i do think these boots should be in every SL demoness’s wardrobe.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Vintage & Witch

The first thing you’ll think when you see the Vintage and Witch boots is, wow, beautiful.

The second thing you’ll think is, hey, there’s a bit missing! ;)

We hadn’t hit the sculpty display bug in quite a while, but fortunately I remembered that we had received expert advice from Damen at Adam n Eve on how to fix it.

Vintage, which I am wearing here, come with eight colors accessible from a menu (and note that the boots are independent, so if you want one dark blue and one Hugo pink, you can have that).

The fun two-tone look and side lacing buttons make these boots a natural for any Victorian outfit you have.

(A quick Post-Scriptum at 4:37PM same day : Viktoria fixed the LOD problem in her boots and the change in settings is no longer necessary!)

After all the upgrades Viktoria did the past couple of months, she finally did some new boots.

And as you can expect with VvB boots they look great, but beware all you VvB lover, these don’t have platforms. *winks*

You get a nice classic designed calf boot, where the Witch boots, worn by me, are laced, the Vintage boots, worn by Mistress, are of the old fashioned button-up kind.

The heels are just the way we love them, sky high and needle thin, these should come with a weapons licence.

Mine come with the usual color change script for the laces, we’ve seen in many VvB boots.

A lovely pair of boots that shouldn’t be missing from any festishista’s wardrobe.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Petite Ballet Shoes

Viktoria’s in the home stretch, having converted most of her designs to the new version 3, as we said, with all new sculpts and so on.

Here’s a glimpse at what’s next in her production schedule, colors!

This is the Petite Ballet Shoe, in white. When Vik’s all caught up, every design of hers will be available in black, red and white.

To be precise, this is the Petite Slave version. There is also a Petite, without all the cool buckles and straps and rings and RLV scripts.

I say if you’re going to wear ballets, go whole hog, but maybe there are “ballet light” fans out there ;)

Woohoo, more ballets for my collection, the new v3 ballet shoes by VvB called the Petite.

These are slave version, which have the D-rings, belts and little locks, the standard version misses these fun little extra’s.

In the package you get a RLV and a “normal” version of the boots, so if you don’t want to use RLV you don’t have to drag the scripts around with you, your local server will thank you. *winks*

The scripting is basic, giving you the option to change the color of the laces, turn the ao on and off and you can control the sound level.

The locking is done simply by touching the shoes so better check if they are locked before entering a “play” sim or you might get attached to them a bit more than you might like. *smiles*

As before a great improvement, good toe box, lovely heel and great little details, a must have for the Fall doll collection.

VvB - Fame V3 and Prima Donna Ballets V3

Viktoria called us with a few new updates to her Version 3 line : the awesome Fame boots I’m wearing here (with my no less awesome Dangerous outfit from Addictions!).

Viktoria is literally re-doing every boot in her store. Progress is steady, and she calls us every month or so with the news... the end is in sight ;)

The shape of the foot is the first thing I noticed on Fame. It is very elegant, with a short and slender toe box and excellent curve to the foot - this is an authentic-looking high-heeled boot.

The shine applied to the V3 line makes the boots seem grey if you catch them just right (ie perfectly perpendicular to the surface in bright light), but from every other angle, you get a deep black shine.

The buckles and grommets on the (many!) straps are colorable from a menu, to match your outfits, with colors like bronze, gold, silver, and even black, for that stealthy spy look ;)

Yes guilty as charged, i just can’t stay away from good-looking ballet boots like VvB's Prima Donna.

You should know these by now, these are the newest update, she has been tinkering on the foot-shape and the reflections.

The improvement on the reflection it obvious, the shape takes a bit of comparing, but it really is quite an improvement.

The Slaverina version, aka the locking version, should be available this weekend, if RL permits.

The boots are no-copy yes-trans, so Viktoria can adjust them for you if needed. Generally Vik’s boots fit Mistress and me straight out of the box.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Slaverina Ballet Knee Boots V3

lelo loves Viktoria’s ballets, and we always look forward to a new release.

These are the Slaverina knee-high ballet boots, and as the V3 indicates, it is the latest update to her famous ballets, with extra bondage gear added

And by latest, I mean they came out last night.. how’s that for “hot off the press”? :)

New this version are a red and a white version, not available in previous models of the ballets - so now your favorite bondage doll can be color-coordinated.

As usual, the details are excellent. The little silver locks at the back of the belts are just adorable, and if you zoom in like a maniac (or a fashion blogger!) on the laces, you will see that they have a pretty authentic lace texture.

Well this one won’t come as a surprise but Viktoria finally finished the Slaverina ballet boots.

Redoing the belts and locks took some time but she managed to do them.

Most of you will have seen the improvements she did to the other models while introducing the V3 boots.

Well these aren’t an exception, the prim work looks great and the texturing is amazing.

You get two versions in the package, one “normal” and one RLV compatible pair of boots.

The scripting is still basic, with these you get a click to lock option which is RLV compatible when wearing the right version, a texture options menu and finally the sound options.

I think these are the last boots to go to V3, i’m wondering what she’ll think of for a V4.

Draconic Kiss - Mana

Draconic Kiss is one of those stores we took a note to cover ages ago.. well, this is finally their turn.

This is not a new outfit, but it is quite a lovely one, called simply Mana.

The color is good, and the reflections simple and convincing.

Add some good shoes or boots (lelo’s wearing VvB’s Oxford shoe here), and you (nearly) have a great outfit to go dancing at Rubber Room ;)

With the fun looking latex skirt you get a nice two colored top, making it a dress, two colored stockings and gloves.

I’m just a sucker for dresses like this, i love how they move when you swing your hips. *smiles*

There is one thing missing from this kit, which we luckily found out before we left the studio, there aren’t any panties included so better add some before you cause trouble.

Here are our second ballets and the reason we got this idea of a ballet theme.

As with the other V3 models, it’s a totally reworked boot, prim and texture, and it shows.

The prim looks very natural, as natural as a ballet boot can look of course. *winks*

They really remind me of the current Chinese boots that are sold by most stores in RL.

The reflections in the texture show Viktoria’s attention to detail; give special attention to how she made the ankle show on the boots.

Let's call these our fashionable ballet boots, so better run and get yours.. *smiles*

VvB Stiletto Heels - Equestrix Platform Riding Boots V3

Following on from the recent spate of updated VvB branded shoes and boots, the updated riding boots have, yes you guessed it, been improved.

I was surprised as I didn't really feel that these boots could be improved on further, after all, the Version 2 boots were in my opinion, superb.

I rushed out to buy the version 2 set as soon as I learned of them, and was not disappointed. So when I got wind of the updated version, I was there right away.

Viktoria has worked wonders, improving the boots in subtle ways that might not be immediately apparent, but the overall look is simply stunning.

If you want a pair of riding boots that make you look elegant, definitely have a Dominant air to them, then you should kick yourself for not considering these.

The textures are simply remarkable, the 9 inch heels, platform soles, and ankle spurs are beautifully rendered, and the boot shafts hug the calves perfectly.

Add to that the fact that the spurs are re colour-able at the touch of a button, as well as a built in AO and heel click, and you have a pair of boots perfect for wearing while out with your pony.

In fact, it would really be a crime to get these boots muddy at the farm, and let's not forget, the heels would sink into the grass. These boots are to wear, not walk in.

Unless you have a slave who enjoys a little boot worship. In which case, these will keep you both happy, and when worn with your jodhpurs, create the perfect classic English riding style with that fetish flavour.

Still reading this? Why are you not at VvB buying the boots yet? Go on, get over there and get yourself a pair. You won't regret it!

VvB Stiletto Heels - VIK6 Knee Boots

I received an avalanche of VvB products last week : Viktoria has continued updating her product line, so that all the old models have now been replaced by new improved versions.

Casual, Ceshany, Oxford, Stage, to name a few of the improved models.. but we had to make a choice; the one we’re featuring here today is the Vik6 knee boot.

Once again, the focus is on improving the quality of the prim work and textures, with incredible attention to detail. Note the little folds at the ankle, for example.

I wonder how long it took Viktoria to tie the little prim bow on the boot laces ;)

Ok, if you thought Viktoria only made boots with platforms, here is proof that she can make pretty amazing boots even without them.

The sculpting and the texturing are as usual, near perfect, just look at the way the ankle bone shows on the boots.

I think i mentioned the laces before, but you should really zoom in on them, the texture is so lifelike it’s almost scary.

Just add a good looking leather dress like this one by XTC, put a whip on your hip and you’ll have slaves begging at your feet. *smiles* Not that i swing that way.. *winks*

So run to Viktoria’s shop and buy one of the new Version 3 boots, they are worth every penny... ohh and tell Viktoria we sent you!

VvB Stiletto Heels - Maid Platform Ankle Boots.

Long time readers will have noted our traditional Monday Kayliwulf Kingdom post. We looked forward to doing them too; we love their designs. Daphne and Lazarus have given us tremendous support since we started this blog, as well as a choice spot for our blog board at their sim. So we will continue showing their new outfits as they are released, but we will ease off the weekly posts for now.

We found so many good boots recently that we’re launching a week devoted to them.

Here’s lelo with the first entry in Boot Week 2010 : VvB’s Maid ankle boots.

Viktoria sent us these a while back, and we were just itching to run them.

They’re gorgeous ankle boots with an extreme heel, and as we said before, Viktoria’s inspiration is La Piazza Heels.

Once again, there is a shine texture, and a prim shine applied to the boots - so they look awesome from any angle.

Viktoria has been busy the past weeks and according to her, she’s finally getting the hang of 3D sculpting, and we can only agree.

The shoe-shape is amazing and the texturing is perfect and i can only wonder at how she got the little bow in the lace looking so good.

The extreme high heel is made even longer by the height of the platform, these are true sky scraper heels, you better not have a fear of heights in these boots.

There is just one little bit of critique on these boots, the scripting in them could use a bit of help.

You have to change the color of the laces on each boot separately, can you imagine. *winks*

Now lets hope she can make the same improvement on the ballet-boot prims as she did on these and she might, like she said, get me out of my Fairlights, no promises though...

VvB Stiletto Heels - Hedonic Platform Heels

Viktoria’s been working frantically lately, showing us awesome new stuff we can’t tell you about ;)

No, I kid - but some really amazing stuff is coming soon, remember that you heard it here first.

This, then, is the new and improved Hedonic Platform shoe, and when I say improved, I mean pretty much re-worked from scratch.

As Vik says, “The ankle straps are roughly the same”, ie, everything else is re-done... and I’d bet money the straps were, too.

This is version 3 of this shoe, and most of her catalog is getting the same treatment.

If you bought an earlier version of her shoes, Viktoria is quite understanding about trade-ins... but at this low price, I’d say buy again and support the artist.

Well the queen of the platform boots is back, and she is has been working hard.

Her new line looks amazing and features her best sculpty work till now.

The platform and the heel are a single prim and the entire shoe only counts 37 prims, buckles and all.

We are featuring the Hedonic here, but she also has come out with the Absolute Fetish, which in name would fit our little blog better.

The big difference between the two is the shape of the toe box and as i prefer a shorter rounder toe box we went for the Hedonic, the AF is a bit more pointy.

Now hurry and get the best looking platforms in SL while they are hot.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Fame Boots

Viktoria's been working hard lately.. these gorgeous boots are only a small sample of her recent creations.

The Fame boots by VvB are available in a platform and no-platform version.

They're covered in zips and straps and buckles, and they look terrific!

This is another high-prim boot like Kat's pony boot : Vik's clock in at 171 prims for each boot. Do *not* wear at fashion shows ;)

The texture is terrific, and the boots themselves have a shine applied that gives extra ooomph to the fetish quotient.

We see a lot of VvB on the Rubber Room's dance floor... you know who you are, dolls!

These new boots come with an all new sculpted heel and a smaller and in my opinion nicer toe box.

The boots were just right directly from the box, at least they were for me.

The menu gives you controle over the tone of the shine on the metal bits and the usual sound and AO controle.

Ohh did i mention the belts? seems she found a few spare ones. *winks*

She's already got excellent prim and texture work going for her, and now she's introducing Restrained Life features to her boots.

Some of you might recognize the Slaverina ballet boots we did a while back.

These are based on those but have 2 important extras:

One. they go over the knee where the Slaverina's went to the knee.

Two. they now are RLV enabled, making them a bit harder to remove once locked. *winks*

As usual the quality is very good, only take your time and a good pose stand to adjust them.

As with the old version, this one is also available in a version with out the belts and locks called the Prima Donna.

VvB Stiletto Heels - Five Platform Sandals

This is Viktoria's latest design, a lovely platform sandal simply called Five.

Don't worry, you won't miss it, it's the only sandal in the store ;)

The platform has a great shine, and the sandal sports VvB's excellent spike heel.

Viktoria's main store was the very first to host one of our inventions - by this I mean, I had a crazy idea, and lelo did all the work - called simply, the Blog Board.

My thought was this : there is little connection between SL and the Web.

So how do store visitors read the bloggers' reviews? An URL-giver is good, but limited if there's more than one review.

Enter the Blog Board. It works like a vendor, click the little pics to see the big pic, click the big pic to get the link to the blog.

We've placed it in a few stores, the reviews are good.. so, in phase two, we'll place it in as many stores as we can, and give it away to any blogger who wants it, for them to put their own reviews in the designers' stores.

Some very high heeled, what would you expect from Viktoria, sandals.

These are the best looking non-prim toe sandals i've ever seen in SL, so no problems when wearing stockings with these.

They offer the usual VvB interface, so you can control the sound and the color of your sandals.

There are 16 colors to choose from, we stuck to the usual black. *smiles*

Some great basic sandals, well basic for the extreme heel wearers, which shouldn't miss in any girls wardrobe.
