Cipher - Fascination Bustier Dress

If you’ve seen me around SL, odds are very good that you saw me with my Cipher leather jacket. I love it, and I pretty much live in it.

We’re having a look at designers we haven’t covered in a long time, and what a joy it was to visit Cipher’s store and to find so many new items, and to see that they’re still just as intricately designed.

This beautiful outfit is called Fascination, and has 23 parts, not counting instructions, landmark, and the *excellent* pose stand with numerous useful poses for fitting clothes.

To put it simply, if you visited our photo studio, you’d see a Cipher stand next to the stage.

This gorgeous (and flexible) outfit will let you mix and match as all the parts are on all clothes layers, and the prim parts have various attach points.

But it’s a complete outfit at a really terrific price, with a good discount if you get all the colors in the fatpack.

Add some heels and go to Moulin Rouge ;)

My first Cipher and boy is this a treat, love how she mixes prim and clothlayer.

Only little down side is i’m not what you would call build to Japanese specs, but a little tweaking on the purpose build cipher stand took care of that.

Even the texture is mod so i could adjust the skirt to match the cloth bustier after stretching it to fit me.

Ok back to the contents of the nice little gift box, in it you’ll find 27 items of which 14 are cloth layer and 9 are prims, so as expected a nice mix.

The options, here goes, pants with or without panty lines, short or long bustier in all layers, gloves and stockings, skirt attached to stomach or pelvis, lace tops for the bustier, lace choker and garter and arm bands.

All items are mod and copy so make a safety copy first, *smiles*

Ohh you might guess differently but i’m wearing the black version, and Mistress wears the more obvious red version.

Only real problem i had was picking the right shoes to wear with this.. *winks*

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Red Dragon

One thing I love about Kayliwulf is how *rich* the colors are. This Red Dragon outfit is straight off a fire engine, and makes the shine really stand out. I feel like I should still have the new car smell ;)

As this little red dress leaves a lot of skin bare, I decided to accessorize a bit for a change and add a few items from other designers, as we do in real Second Life.

The jacket is from Cipher, and is similar to the one I reviewed in black. I thought the white would look awesome, and what do you know? I was right!

The collar is from Sweetest Sin, and since I was going white here, I bought a second one and made it white with a leather texture I stole, chopped up, lightened, and generally tortured in Photoshop until it looked good, then uploaded, applied, stretched.. if that leather isn't distressed, then it was meant to be kinky.

Great lacing on the boots, dress and gloves, great prim heels.. this dragon is the starting point of great outfits!

If you have a good look at Red Dragon you might recognize Yin Yang in it, which we reviewed a while back.

This shows how combining different colors can make a whole new outfit, and Laz is a master at that game.

Cipher : Riders Jacket Busta - Black

A leather jacket should not be a coat of paint. Leather jackets have bulk, mass, solidity. They creak, squeak, and stand between you and the elements. Such is the case with the Cipher jacket.

I think a prim jacket must be a difficult project, because you don't see so many around.

The cut is bolero-like, short-ish.. and I love the straps everywhere. The perfect jacket to wear over a catsuit, it has become a mix and match staple of my wardrobe.

There are other colors, and the price is quite reasonable.. I may get the white one, just for a change :)

If I could wish for something, it would be a slightly shinier leather texture, with fold effects and so on.. maybe next season?

The store is well laid-out, easy to browse and cool-looking.

First full prim jacket i've seen and it looks great, i guess it's a huge prim load, but it's worth it.

Bending all those prims to get them in this shape must have been quite some work, but prim wise there isn't one placed wrong.

Only little point of critique is the difference in texture on some of the prims, this shows the most on the shoulders.

Even with this very small "fault" the best looking leather jacket in SL, at least as far as i have seen, if you have a better one please let us know or even better send us one *winks*
