Evelock - Femdom Hunt Success Story

Deirdre:
We had a feeling that the Femdom Hunt had gone well, but I call Eve when I want the inside track on business in SL - she’s savvy and she likes a good yak as much as I do. :)

Over 1000 people picked up a copy of the gifts she offered during the Hunt - amazing results for *any* promotional activity in SL.

While those visits don’t translate into sales during the event, Eve notes increased traffic and sales since the end of the hunt - seems her strategy of putting out a bunch of new products before the start of the hunt gave the visitors something to see and remember.

Eve also put out a limited-offer cheapie during the hunt, and it sold like hotcakes; showing that the hunters do look around, and will pick up interesting items - more so than lucky chair jumpers, I would guess.

Stay tuned for more hunt gifts in coming weeks. We met some great new people along the way, and I believe our list of stores will get a boost :)

lelo:
Jewelry, woooohooo! *winks*

Not quite my specialty, the jewelry i usually wear are called collars and shackles and my ears, well don’t think many have seen them naked. *smiles*

In the set you get earrings, a necklace and a belly button jewel, all in shiny silver and all numberi.

Sesame Street could have a special with these; imagine the Count doing the numbers. *muhahaha*

Still they do look lovely and who knows next time Mistress takes me to a vanilla event i’ll have a opportunity to wear them.

So keep an eye on our blog for the next Femdom Hunt, these are the things you missed out on this year.

Evelock 2nd Anniversary and Giveaway

Eve Terr sent us a note to let us know today was Evelock’s second anniversary in SL.

She worked hard recently, installing a gift card system - she went with Caspervend, we hear good things about it.

Everyone at the party received a 200L$ brand spanking new Evelock gift card, and as her prices are not horrible to begin with, this works out to a very nice discount.

Since the party was today - bit of short notice on our part there, sorry! - Eve generously offered this :

The first 20 people who call Eve Terr and say “Deirdre sent me!” will get a 200L$ Evelock gift card.

See our previous posts if you need a reminder about Evelock products, drop by the nice new store at Nova Isle, and wish Eve a happy anniversary too :)

Evelock - Circe Chaise and Minim Set

Eve Terr gave us a call this week, said she had a new release she’d like to show us. I said, “Oh, something matching the cool sofa?”, and what do you know, my ESP was working that day ;)

The Circe Chaise, then, is pretty big, but amazingly low prim. Eve builds for prim misers like me : seven prims for the entire chaise!

The menus are extremely simple and clear: pose menu on the cushion, and texture menu on the base, accessible to the owner only - no bad surprises that way.

The Miss-sub poses are excellent, there are tons of them, and they are easy to adjust. Easy to love that item :)

She also sent us the Minim furniture set: at one or two prims each, with eight or nine poses, but no texture menu, you can set a bunch down when you have company.

No texture menu on the Minims, but they are mod, so you can simply edit and tint.

This is just a short Friday peek, so do drop by Eve’s new studio and see the demos, and don’t hesitate to call Eve with inquiries - her own words, I wouldn’t set hordes of readers on someone like that ;)

Also, more details on her blog : http://evelock.blogspot.com/2012/10/ready-to-relax.html

Have a great weekend.

Evelock - Circe Chair and Unity Collars

Deirdre:
I called up Eve to get her advice on <obvious tease> a certain secret project I won’t go into right now </obvious tease> ;)

She’s an experienced builder and we feel the same about many things.

She mentioned she had new collars since the last time we featured her; as it’s been quite a while, I said I’d be delighted to see them.

She also built a pretty awesome chair, the Circe, which has a wagonload of good D/s and snuggle poses.

There are three pose menus : Snuggles has 7 poses, Just Miss has 9, and Miss & sub has 6. The chair has 5 textures for the arms, and 4 for the cushion. I recommended a leather shine one - I’ll keep you posted ;)

The menu is very different for owners and users; as Eve says on her blog, no more pesky fiddles from mischievous types. Oh, and the chair is only 3 prims; good news for the prim conscious - ie, everyone.

The Unity collars (labradorite and snowflake obsidian pictured) are lovely, delicate braids holding stone beads and a tiny shiny rune charm. Beautiful work!

lelo:
The Unity collars is primarily meant for male subs but when you rotate it down it works great for girls.

Though this is more jewelry than a collar, it still offers everything you would want from a collar, just a more vanilla look.

And that’s the thing Eve was going for, everyday wear with a hidden layer.

The Unity collars are available in with the following gems: Fire Opal, Garnet, Jasper, Labradorite, Lapis Lazuli and Obsidian.

Each of them has it’s own special meaning, have a look at Eve’s blog if you want to find out which does what.

So very lovely jewelry, which looks great and still one of the best collar scripts in SL.

Evelock - Pride Collars

Deirdre:
A new release by Eve is a joyous thing; I always look forward to the lovely new designs.

This time is no exception, with the lovely natural stones of the Pride collars. Pictured in order : Lapis Lazuli, Moonstone, Garnet and Labradorite. (The closeup is Labradorite.)

These are posture collars; the points are meant to keep a girl’s chin proudly up.

While we usually like to feature items being worn, I felt the filigree was so lovely we had to show an extreme closeup of it.

Like the first of Eve’s collars we showed you, the Pride has Celtic genes : the torc design, here represented by the largest stone, and reinforced by the lovely knot filigree.

So get them all, and mail checks to Eve so continues designing ;) I half kid.. but do support designers and SL artists :)

lelo:
Just in case you have fallen out of love with the good old leather or steel collars, here’s a nice new option from Evelock.

Eve once again shows that her true love lies in making lovely jewelery, these collars are a thing of beauty.

The center of each collar is a precious stone, it’s surrounded by a lovely Celtic inspired heart, the rest of the collar is also made of the chosen stone.

There are 12 stones to choose from each with it’s own special meaning, just follow this link to Eve’s blog to check them all out.

As you might expect the collar still contains the good old Dari’s haus script, why break up a winning team.

So why not get your special girl a nice piece of jewelry with a special meaning.. ohh and yes they do lock on tightly. *winks*

EveLock - Posture Collar

Deirdre
Our new friend Eve Terr, who you’ll remember from the cool celtic collars we featured in October, called us with a nice new posture collar this time

It has lovely clean lines, fit lelo right out of the box, and avoids the common black-on-black pitfall with an excellent wrinkled-leather texture.

The buckles have a fun locking mechanism and cool little padlocks with through-and-through keyholes.. I love that kind of attention to detail.

One small thing worth noting, the collar is transferable, so don’t hesitate to buy one as a gift for that special magic pony doll bondage bunny in your life.

I remarked to lelo that it wouldn’t look out of place on a ponygirl, and she agreed. Maybe there’s a market there, Eve :)

lelo
Our second run of a Evelock product, this time a nicely sculpted posture collar.

First thing you’ll notice is the nice leather (brown!!) texture on it, making it stand out from all the black in SL.

Except for having to pull the collar a bit up it was a close to perfect fit for me, i’m lucky that way i guess as there is no resize script in the collar.

As with the other collars from Eve, you get the scripts based on Dari’s, Eve added a fun little clip-on bell, just in-case you don’t want your pet to sneak up on you.

So once again a lovely crafted bit of kit from Eve, which will make you stand out from crowd, with still one of the best collar scripts in SL.

Evelock - Collars

Deirdre
Eve is a friend of Nova’s; armed with a nice introduction, we dropped in on her and the cool mall she manages at Velvet Thorn.

Eve wanted something specific and couldn’t find it, so as smart people do, she set out to make collars that suited her.

The collars, then, are celtic inspired designs with delicate textures and lovely names like Tribal, Weaver and Celtic Swan.

Weaver is actually new, so not only did we find a new store, but just in time for a new design.

Eve has more “adult” designs at the store, so don’t hesitate to drop in for a peek, especially if you have a male slave to keep in line. There's also a little free gift in a neatly shaped box.. I'll let you find it. :)

And do visit her blog for more info on her creations : http://evelock.blogspot.com

lelo
It’s been a while but we have found some new collars we just had to show you.

Eve smartly uses one of the best free collar scripts in SL, Dari’s, so no surprises there.

Only thing she dropped from the script was the bell and changeable text to save prims and more important, keep the great look of the collar.

And the look is what makes these collars special, she put a very good looking graphic design on the nicely shaped collar.

This is your chance to get away from the usual collar look and wear something special.
