Catch It - Ciara Blouse and Moda Pants

Some bright, shiny mesh from Catch It tonight: we’re both wearing Ciara blouses, and lelo has the Moda Striped pants while I have the Moda Two Colors.

I love the rolled-up sleeves on the blouse, and the inside is finished properly so it’s not transparent - good attention to detail there.

The two-color pants look like some riding pants I’ve seen. They’re distinctive, certainly the first I see with this pattern.

Pad pointed out that the same size blouse and pants overlap properly, and I have to agree, the fit is great.

The folds on the front of the blouse are the realest latex thing I’ve seen in SL - glued latex is pesky like that in RL :)

Beautiful textures, bright colors.. just the thing to wear at the next fetish country club social ;)

Seems everyone has caught the mesh bug, Pad at Catch It is turning them out like hot cakes.

The stripy pants caught my eye and Pad suggested i could wear the Ciara blouse with it, which is made to match the color and goes over the pants when worn in the same size.

Talking about sizes there are 4 of them ranging from XXS to M, where i’m wearing the M and Mistress the S, so these are on the small side, better test the demo.

You’ll find a HUD in the package which lets you change the (Linden) shine and tint level on the pants, for the blouse you can also change the color of the accent color on the sleeve and cuffs.

Ohh i just had to wear these Hugo sunglasses with the outfit, it just finishes it off perfectly.. don’t worry not turning into a fashionista. *winks*

Now for the important question: “does my butt look big in these?”

PixelFashion - Kaina Boots

We saw the Kaina boots worn at Domme a Domme, and we headed to PixelFashion for a closer look.

We heard from Deesselle Destiny, the PixelFashion bloggers group admin, that Amandine Arai hasn’t been online for some time - we wish Amandine well, as we’ve received no replies from contact attempts with her or Ono Zinner, her partner.

That said, the boots looked good so we thought we’d share them with you. The demo includes all colors in the HUD so you can get a good idea whether you’ll love them or not.

The foot shape and heel are more to my taste than to lelo’s; more fashion than outrageously fetish, let’s say.

The boots are in different parts, each colorable separately; the colors are good but the tints are mostly dark - a bit more light would have been good in some, at least.

There is materials at work - and fitted mesh! - as the shine and texture clearly show. This is a thoroughly modern boot, and a design of excellent quality.

There are limited color packs - something that I believe should be a thing of the past. The color packs are 550L$ but the fatpack is 1100L$, making it a bit steep in my opinion.

Real Restraints - Body Harness

Marine’s latest release is a classic, O-ring and leather Body Harness. Simple name, nice and clean product.

Part of the harness is fitted mesh: the vertical strap below the middle ring, to be precise.

The rest is non-rigged mesh, fairly easy to adjust. In fact, Marine gives detailed instructions on adjusting your harness one strap at a time. (That will produce a better fit than you see in our pics - our very short production time, sadly, will do that.)

There’s a ton of goodies in the harness, including a leash handle giver. There were a few small bugs in early releases - if you have them, read the details here and fiddle if you like, or simply visit one of Marine’s updaters.

Our colleague (or esteemed competition, if you like) Aria Warden did a nicely detailed review, as she usually does. Do visit her blog and have a look!

Miss RLV, Marine Kelley, for those who have been living in a dark dungeon for the last years, has come out with a new harness.

Coming from Marine you are assured of the usual RLV abilities and follows the script layout we have come to know for years now.

The new features are that the harness is making use of the latest fitted mesh for part of the harness.

This part works great, adjusting the standard rigged parts to it takes a bit more work, Marine has chosen this way of working to give you the ability to adjust the upper part to lolas or tight corsets.

The second new feature is the fact that you can adjust tint and the pattern on the harness.

There are 35 preset colors, but you also get the option to enter the RGB code of your own favorite color.

With pattern you can add seams, studs or text to you harness, always with the option to interchange the background and text color.

So in all a very nice harness that should match any outfit you have, just plan some time to adjust it perfectly to your body.

Hyperion Creation - Sharon 1.5

Hyperion Creations Sharon is a serious heel and serious platform slingback shoe :)

I admit I was not really stunned when I saw the vendor pics at Hyperion on our first visit, but seeing the shoes worn did in fact convince me to feature them.

Right out of the box, you get a lot of good textures, including some very clever “socks” to match the built-in foot skin to your own - first time I see those, but I’m more of a boot person, the astute reader will have noticed ;)

The shoes are sized in a way I also haven’t seen: to match up with your legs properly, versions of the shoe are included to match different leg muscle settings. Pick the right one and the foot matches your leg perfectly.

I particularly liked the red pvc (shown in our first pic) as I consider these more “fun” than “fetish” shoes. But lelo correctly reminded me that some people are probably absolutely crazy about this style.

As the other two texture packs (sold separately) are so varied, we did our animated GIF trick again to give you a sampling - enjoy :)

We already showed you the dollarbies by Gaelleminois at Hyperion Creations and it’s high time we showed you her main creations, her shoes.

The look of her shoes is pretty good with a wicked angle for the foot, deadly spike heels and a platform that will make you rise above the crowd.

All in all more then enough to make these shoes desirable but the the form is only half the story, the included HUD’s make these shoes very special.

Two HUD’s give you 22 textures to play with, which can be used on almost all of the surfaces of the shoes, there are also skin and stocking textures.

A third HUD lets you play with the colors, shine, glow and sound of the shoes.

Still not enough? Gaelle also sells two extra texture packs, one for clear textures for you stripper types and the second she calls the funny pack.

And some of those are pretty funny indeed: how about tartan with a marble sole or urban camo for the ghetto warriors.

Great shoes, even better texture possibilities, just beware that you’ll be switching HUDs quite a bit.

Restrained Freedom - Bandage Wrap

We’re running a bit late on this one, but presenting the Bandage Wrap restraint system by Restrained Freedom.

Early adopters of viewers with bleeding edge features will enjoy the snugness of this toy, as Katie created it with the new Fitted Mesh.

Note that lelo looks quite good in the wrap even without fitted mesh!

Bondage bunnies will rejoice at the ton of features included, the little mini-games in particular.

Two textures (bandage or tape) and a color hud will make the wrap look any way you like.

By the way, we missed the RF Rope Coil release, which Katie sent me on December 31st - you can see Aria’s review for the details.

Something new from the fertile mind of Katie at Restrained Freedom, with these new Bandage Wrap she proves that she’s at the cutting edge of SL development.

No pun intended, but these bandages feature not only the newish SL Materials Technology but also fitted mesh.

Not bad for a bondage bunny, because that's what she will always be, and it shows when you look at the long list of options you get with these wraps.

Just to name a few, you can select tape or bandage, both can be color adjusted and also shine and glow can be changed in the menu or with the included HUD.

There are all kinds of games to try and struggle out of the wraps and as you might expect every possible RLV option is available.

Only down side is that all these options make the menu pretty big and navigating it takes a bit of getting used too.

Still this will give you hours of fun, watching your significant other slithering on the floor or doing the patented mummified Wriggle Dance. *smiles*

ZerO - Officer Down! Mesh Cap - Iron Sky

Now, nobody likes a good military cap more than I do…

We found this one with our favorite shopping method, sitting in a good hangout and watching well-dressed people go by ;)

The ZerO Officers Down! Iron Sky cap is a beautiful un-rigged mesh officer’s cap, with a color-change HUD; braid and leaves only - nobody wants a green cap ;)

Hud colors are green, red, blue, purple, gold, black (well, same very dark grey as the cap) and silver, shown here.

Seriously, you could use the colors to indicate ranks or such in roleplay.

This is a beautiful, detailed item. It’s a piece of cake to resize and fit, and is probably my new favorite - regular readers know I have quite a collection of these :)

Another Domme a Domme find, seems we are finding more there than in most malls we visit.

Rei smartly maneuvers around the sticky past of these caps by calling them militant and pointing to the Iron Sky movie instead of the past.

The cap finishes a black leather outfit off nicely, giving it a very dominant feel, just don’t go for the complete uniform that give the wrong impression, it’s a fine line.

ZerO offers a wide variety of eclectic items, seems we found another designer who builds for her own fun and fetish.

Sadly Rei doesn’t have a store in SL at the moment so we’ll give you a Marketplace URL for a change.

Brii Underground Wear - "Mesh Ultimate" ankle boots

Some really hot ankle boots from Brii tonight - not a fetish store but still, awesome eighties ankle boots with tons of straps and spikes and rhinestones, and one of my favorite heels in SL so far - these are the Mesh Ultimate Ankle Boots.

They’re really inexpensive, too - 144L$ for one pair, 288L$ for the seven-color set. It’s a texture-change HUD so I had to wear a DeVicious dress to match ;)

The resize script does one boot at a time, so keep track of your changes ;) The script tells you the current scale so that’ll help.

The boots are unrigged mesh, so you can adjust them to your favorite way to wear them.

The colors are vibrant, and even the black is not the dead black we see all too often in SL. lelo jokes that some designer’s monitors must be set too bright ;)

Inexpensive, mesh, gorgeous shape, skyscraper heels.. do I need to tell you to pounce?

Latex Web Inc. - iDomme

A cool and slightly strange outfit from Latex Web is nothing surprising ;) This is Mariko’s first release in a while, the iDomme.

No, she didn’t join the Cult of Jobs ;) As far as I can tell the name is whimsical. Fun, though :)

This is a "Doctor Jekyll / mutant latex creature from Mars" outfit.

Asymetrical-spiky gas mask, back tentacles, head tentacles, spooky latex eyes… or, nearly sensible latex domme outfit - you have both in this box.

The boots are really outrageous, but if you go for the plainer look, it’s easy enough to swap them for fetish knee boots.

The chrome catsuit looks really good, and could be the basis for a very different outfit - robotic bits and what have you.

Visit Latex Web and give the beautiful Darkadia sim a look, too.

Seems Mariko does have time left, next to all the remodeling she does too her sim, to make new, Darkadia style, outfits.

The one thing that is to be expected when something bears a Latex Web label is that it’s pretty much out there, way, way out there.

Simple fact of the matter is Mariko makes what she likes and loves, she doesn’t do mainstream fetish, she does Darkadia fetish.

And as it goes with fetishes, you have it or you don’t, and Darkadia is it own little niche of SL.

If you like dark rubber, spikes, alien worlds and want to join the ranks of the army of Darkadia this is the outfit for you.

Sinha Hynes - Hawk Hood

We were sitting at Domme a Domme and noticed a lovely ponygirl, all in white with lots of Rosal corsetry, a striking head harness.. and a lovely open-face hood matching the rest perfectly.

The hood turned out to be the Hawk Hood, created by Aleda Koba, and scripted and sold by Sinha Hynes.

Aleda happened to be on, so I gave her a call and we chatted a bit. Turns out she reads us, “when she remembers” ;) Seriously, it’s nice that we’re starting to be known - it does make the calls easier.

Sinha sells the hood and the revenue supports Stones n Rubber, an important fetish sim, so we’ll call the slightly high price a donation to keep things running.

The hood is definitely meant to be worn with head harnesses: the vendor pic shows a Maison Broceliande harness, and Beauty was wearing a Mesmerize Dungeon head harness when we saw her.

My impression was that the Rosal collar, Hawk Hood and harness were made for each other. The official Deirdre Mix And Match Award goes to Beauty!

A lovely bit of sculpted mesh tonight, coming from Stone N Rubber one of the few remaining hard core pony sims in SL.

The fit is pretty good and the hood is easy to adjust, using the normal SL editing tools, with a small alpha hiding the ears, i’m sure prince Charles would love to have one of those. *winks*

When you wear the hood it gives you a HUD to wear, RLV users won’t even notice this step, that will block your view according to the level set by the hood.

Clicking the hood gives you access to a clean looking menu that offers you 4 steps of opacity, from transparent to full blind.

A control button lets you check for updates, lock the hood and check if the HUD is worn, the owner button is pretty much self explanatory.

Finally there is the color button, which lets you color the hood in 68 different colors all with a nice latexy shine.

So get over to Stone N Rubber and get your own and while you are there give the sim a look it a great lovely place, with some kinky play on offer.

X-DollZ - Maid Fetish Outfit

Introducing X-DollZ, first : Fyre Furse’s new store, with her partner Sugar Falta. Both ladies have their own thriving businesses, and X-DollZ is their collaboration line.

This dress is simply called Maid Fetish Outfit, and it’s an excellent mesh dress with apron.

Lelo’s wearing the black with pink trim here. There's also a black with red trim, a black with white trim, and a black with white apron for a more classic look.

The mesh looks great, the folds are well made and plausible, and the texture suggests satin rather than latex.

The price is quite reasonable per dress, but as the store is fairly new, there’s no fat pack yet. Maybe the multi-color version will be colorable, à la DeVicious.

Chair hoppers should definitely drop by X-DollZ’s beautiful store, and try the (twenty!) lucky chairs in the back yard.

Ohh and in case you were wondering, there is a PG, shown in the frontal picture and a mature version, leaving the breasts exposed, shown in the second picture, did i make you look? *winks*

Only other thing next to the two alphas for the dresses is a nice little colormatched headband, which could use a resizer, but we all had problems with head wear and big hair.

KDC - Classic Leather Posture Collar

Kyrah’s blog was hinting that the Classic Leather Posture Collar was getting near, and sure enough, she released it this morning. I pounced and burned my fingers as it’s so hot off the press ;)

This is a staple of RL BDSM, and it is as powerful a symbol as you can get, so Kyrah gave it the full treatment.

Thick leather, big rivets, lockable roller buckle with metal-reinforced holes, riveted ring post - this collar screams “slave wear” loud and clear.

I took the liberty of snagging one of her pics, an “early normal mapping preview” because the shine  looks like someone lovingly applied several coats of mink oil to the leather :)

That said, Kyrah took pity on us poor late adopters and the collar’s texture looks absolutely stunning even in our tired old viewer.

I’ll quote Kyrah for a bit : “NOTE: this product uses a delivery box system and can be bought as a gift and distributed freely (no copy/transfer), it only becomes no copy/no transfer when the gift box is unpacked.”

You’re smart, you can take a hint ;)

Kyrah has been at it again and built us a brand new, exquisite leather posture collar, that looks good enough to eat.. or wear… *winks*

As before the collar does what a collar should do, it locks and secures your neck, putting you in a somewhat awkward posture, hence the name.

Some might not agree, but i love that in Kyrah’s designs, no RL collar can control your speech, you use a gag for that, and that’s Kyrah’s thinking as well, keeping the scripting clean.

The one thing you can also do with the collar is chain your wrist cuffs to it, using KDC’s TouchBound system: touch the side of the collar you want to chain to and touch the cuff next and you are bound.

Simple and elegant, just like the included color HUD that gives you a choice of 8 colors for the outside, stitching, inside and border of the collar.

The metal items on the collar, like the big ring on the front, get a choice of 7 metallic colors.

So go get it, i know you want to add this to your KDC collection… *smiles*

DeVicious - Leather Infinity and Party of the Year

It’s been simply *ages* since we featured some DeVicious, so here’s a pair of dresses from her Spring line - we received a preview box called Materials Collection (excerpt).

What that means in practical terms is, those dresses will be available soon. Steph is always working hard, but there’s a large collection to update to materials. Sorry for the tease ;)

I’m wearing Leather Infinity, a sleek and simple little number without cutouts; the textures are interesting enough without any help.

As usual with DeVicious, the box contains 40 dresses: four textures (Plain Leather, Denim & Leather, Quilted Leather, and Distressed Leather) in ten colors each.

Five standard sizes on top of that, it goes without saying. Keen-eyed readers will have spotted that I’m wearing the Quilted version, which looks quite nice even without the new stuff.

As this is materials enabled, you’ll want to wear the right version of the dress to apply the texture on. I have to say, I’m really starting to look forward to the Firestorm materials release!

AtaMe - Wild Side

Deirdre:

A new release by AtaMe tonight, this is Wild Side, a cool mesh pants and tunic outfit.

The tunic central piece is a kind of “modern primitive” bone chest plate. The tunic falls below the waist in a style reminiscent of some slave silks.

The pants fit me well with the alpha, and they show some good folds in the mesh shape. The sizes are not the standard ones, I think, but they’re not unreasonable.

Wild Side is a little hard to see in black, but looks very good in red and pink.

The long pants will be a little tricky to adjust to boots but if you have some good shoes they’ll be fine.

If you want an outfit with a distinctive mix of modern and primitive, Wild Side is for you.

This is a full mesh outfit, with all the greatness and downsides of mesh, please lindies get us the next step in mesh...please, pretty please…

In the folder you will find two alphas and the pants and tunic in 5 sizes each, i’m wearing a medium in both case.

The real fans might notice that the girls aren’t sticking out as they usually do, as i’m wearing my mesh dress sized ones.

For now there are no appliers for this or any of Milu’s outfits, lets hope she’ll get around to that, for you big chested ladies. *smiles*

Eclectic Randomness - Obsidian Jouet Doll Avatar

A neat avatar for our doll and android lovers tonight, this is the Obsidian Jouet Doll avatar by Eclectic Randomness.

It has a distinct alien look, with exaggerated wide eyes and thick lips. The head is unrigged mesh, and Winter says that it works with most mesh hair.

Three shapes are included in the box, so if you thought lelo looked a bit short tonight, you were not wrong :)

Lolas Tango! appliers are shown in our pics, and there are tons more: eBoobs Overfilled, Anime, and Naturals; vString Classic and Evo; and Mused Full and MilkMade.

If you look closely, you’ll notice doll joints - they’re easier to see on the lighter versions, of course. Aside from Obsidian, Jouet is available in Shilo (a light pink), Silver, Pearl, Cocoa, and Cosmos.

So just get a flying saucer and get ready for some fun roleplay :)

We had seen the Jouet Doll by Winter Ventura at Eclectic Randomness go by a few times already, but with this Obsidian version we just had to pounce.

Even if Winter doesn’t call it latex, it does look like it so we’ll treat it like that. *winks*

You’ll get a packed folder, containing the mesh head, tintable tattoo layer joints, 3 shapes (i’m wearing the smallest).

There are 12 skins included, with small, normal and busy breast shadows and each with the option if you want your nipples and/or vagina showing.

Then there are boob appliers for most available boobs in SL, once again with an option to show or hide your nipples.

You would think that’s enough, but no, there is more, a lovely little HUD that lets you control the eye and lip color and a choice of 6 different lashes.

Winter also sells a separate applier set for all the other available mesh body parts (like Phat Azz and the AMD baby bump) you can get in SL.

Plausible Body - Harness and Basic Catsuit

A nice mesh harness by Plausible Body tonight.. and as we didn’t want to model it naked, we are also showing you their excellent Basic latex catsuits.

This is a full body harness, made with riveted straps and O rings. Looks pretty plausible to me, too :)

Fit is good, even for a not completely standard body size like mine.

The harness is rigged mesh, so it fits well and moves with the body. The cost of rigged is no resize, but with the five standard sizes included, most should be fine.

Of course, Plausible sells avatars, so if you need a better fit, you have options ;)

The catsuit vendor threw an astonishing 17 color folders at me, one after the other, plop, plop, plop.. fun :) You know in advance, you won’t be quite as shocked as we were.

The suggested prices for the Harness and Basic Catsuit box are very reasonable, so if you have the L$, do support a cool and original SL store.

Another round of open price products from Plausible Body tonight, it still amazes me but it seems it works for them, so there still are people in SL that appreciate hard work.

First item is the mesh harness, which to warn you right now is made for the smaller breasted AV, i had to wear my mesh dress form for this one to fit right.

The harness comes in the 5, Plausible Body, standard sizes and with my reduced breast i’m fitting comfortably in an XS Harness.

You’ll also find two HUD's in the folder, which gives you the opportunity to change the texture, color, shine and opacity of the belts and the rings separately.

The catsuit is a great basic catsuit with a nice dull shine and with a choice of 17 colors there should always be one for you.

So buy, try and pay the girls what you think it’s worth.. they work hard for their money and a brave move like their open price policy should be rewarded.

Tami’s - Garter Dress

Deirdre:

We got a call from Tamina Boa two days ago - so this is as hot-off-the-press as we could make it, ok?

Kirsten beat us to it by a few months and she takes great (materials enabled!) pics so we’re not jealous. One bit. Really. ;)

Tami's Garter Dress matches Bax’s beautiful gradient-color Regency boots, and not by accident, either.

Well, Bax herself made a point of matching Hugo colors with previous releases, so it’s clearly a smart thing to do.

This is a really cool mesh minidress, and the big latex garter belt turns into an accent for the skirt - that’s really original.

The top has a fun outside accent too, almost looking like a vest from the sides... oh, and Canadian-winter-sized nipple bumps ;)

PS: we're being asked when we'll switch to the materials-enabled Firestorm. I say,"When it comes out of beta." Folks on the support channel gave us the following help:

Fun little mesh dress tonight, by a newbie to our blog, Tamina Boa with her Tami’s label.

Tamina made the dress to match the Bax Regency color faded boots in white/black, mint/black, red/black and blue/black.

She was even nice enough to add the LM to Bax in the package so you can get the matching boots.

The dress comes in 7 sizes so it should fit most in SL, you might have to make your boobs a bit smaller as i had to, but i’m sure you’ll have a shape for that when you are as boobelishious as i am. *winks*

 Tamina’s store is still new, so beware of wet paint - well actually it offers only a few items so as an exception we’ll point you to marketplace, keep an eye on Tamina, we will, she shows a lot of promise.

Freebies - Patula’s House

I think Patula’s House was a tip, but the note we have is from last March, so whoever sent it, thank you, we love you, ok? :)

There’s quite a few nice shoes and boots at Patulas, although regular readers of this blog will recognize some of the sculpts.

While we love original designers who make everything from scratch pixels, a good texture on a bought sculpt can produce good results, and we don’t mind sharing them when we find them.

Patula’s sells mostly fetish and fashion shoes and boots, with a bit of clubwear. But the part of the store to which we want to direct your attention is the freebies wall on the second floor: 36 items, from shoes and boots to men’s shirts.

You’ll need to join the VIP group to pick them up, but that’s not uncommon, and it’s free.

If you keep an eye on such things, Patula’s is our third new designer this week.. bodes well for the year, doesn’t it? :)
