Graves - Velocity

We saw someone wearing Gravity, so we got Velocity - yeah, yeah, so we’re not always rational ;)

Velocity is a new Graves outfit. It’s quite striking, and like Gravity, it is built around an intricate “Collar / Protector / Backpack” - Jackie’s name for it.

The main difference is the included breast armor. We live very quiet second lives, and it’s just not every day that someone fires a laser pistol at lelo’s chest - but there it is, just in case.

Speaking of pistols, the upper thigh pockets sure look like holsters to me. You space bounty hunters will have the gear to suit them, I’m sure.

Boots are not included but the Cy-Boots we showed you recently match Velocity admirably.

Another striking Graves outfit, and the splash of color really brings it alive.

Velocity is available in red (shown), purple, grey and clear. The megapack of all four colors costs less than two separate outfits, so if you like them all, you’re winning.

It was high time we returned to Graves and seeing it worn at our usual hang out made us have a look in the store where the new Gravity caught our eyes.

Gravity follows the proven Graves lines, in looks, feels and build up, so you are assured that it will mix and match all your existing Graves gear.

Jackie is and will always be the queen of the prim augmented clothing and at least for me is one of the big attractions to Graves.

The other one being the fact that she manages to set a theme and stick to it.

In the box you will find the outfit with and without the red catsuit, in all cloth layers including the tattoo one.

Next to that you will find 12 prim add-ons that, like i told you before, really give the outfit life.

Jackie kindly added a alpha layer to hide big boobies, like mine, beneath the chest armour, so you don’t have to use the embedded resizing script.

Lastly as usual, Phat Azz appliers are sold separately. There are no Lolas! Tango appliers for Velocity since the armour covers the breasts.

Graves - Splice Dress and Cy-Boots

A lovely dress and scifi-y boots from Graves tonight, we’re wearing Splice and Cy-Boots.

Splice is the dress version of the classic Splice suit. It’s cut generously in front and black - well, sides too - and has a very smart rigged mesh skirt panel, the first we’ve seen.

Aside from the clothes-layer dress (all layers plus tattoo) and gloves, you get the trademark Graves prim bits on the upper arms, plus some cool bracelets and matching collar that look like they’re made of futuristic bullets.

All prim bits have a resize script and are copy, so backup before fiddling, as usual.

Jackie moved to Caspervend so we got to see the new gift cards in action. They mount as a HUD item, and are pretty darn cleverly made. Good job, Casper!

A good-looking outfit, with some pretty good shine highlights on the buns ;) I like the Splice straps running all around the skirt.

Jackie Graves has her own futuristic style, that’s why you can so easily mix and match her outfits, tonight i’m wearing her Cy-Boots, which neatly follow that tradition.

I do love my blue LEDs, which is a joke between Mistress and me, so these boots were just crying out to me.

The boots come with a HUD that lets you control the color of the rings, rivets and screens on the boots, i went a bit mad on the first picture to give you an idea.

The HUD also lets you adjust the size of the boots with a simple plus/minus button, easy to miss but works beautifully, not that i needed much of an adjustment.

The boots are copy so you can make color matched versions for all your (Graves) outfits, she even added a backup pair, just in case you really went berzerk.

So get yours and start playing with colors, i know you want to.. *winks*

Graves - Pride and Divinity

Deirdre:

Some unusual pieces from Graves tonight, I’m wearing Pride and lelo is modeling Divinity.

Pride is a maxi-length coat with a generous décolleté - for when you want to be warm, but not *too* warm, you know? ;)

This one is the Red version, meaning that it has red cuffs and collar on the Graves black hex.

Some very neat jewelry comes with the Pride outfit; a tribal-looking necklace, and matching earrings - I haven’t seen earrings included in an outfit in a while except from Jackie.

There’s no top under the coat, except an alpha. The included tattoo-layer hex tights (or fishnets, if you like) and panties are it.

The panties are called a slip in the box, and there’s a top and bottom part to them, in all layers. You’ll want to wear both parts for that high-waist look. A pair of of black hex wrist gloves (not shown) is also included.

As all long mesh coats and dresses, seated poses are mostly not kind to Pride, but if you find one that keeps your legs firmly together down to the ankles, you can risk it.

A good-looking outfit, striking and original - maybe just the thing for standing around in hangouts? You’ll find occasions to wear it, I’m sure :)

I’m wearing Divinity by Graves tonight, and also showing you the Lolas Tango applier that is sold separately.

The outfit comes with all layers included and offers you the option to wear the dress with or without a trademark hex latex smokey layer under it.

By wearing multiple layers you can darken the latex layer and make it less transparent and more suited for PG areas.

As before Jackie includes a load of prim buckles and in this case a nose/ear chain, to give the outfit that little extra.

The nipple stripes are in the jacket layer and of course are included as an option for the Lolas.

The dress is offered in black and white and the Lolas Tango applier works for both versions, so buy one get one free… *winks*

Graves - Commando

You're on your way to a foreign land

I have apparently joined the hexagon army; not exactly sure which country, but the logo sure is spiffy; and any army that features open shoulder catsuits with matching shoulder gloves has my vote.

This outfit is covered in Graves’ famous hex camo pattern; it’s also covered in pockets.

The hex belt buckle and belt pockets hide a neat detail: there is no actual belt! Trompe-l’oeil for the win.

There are two versions, long pants and short pants. All clothes layers are included, although tattoo is quickest.

No boots in the box but Jackie has you covered with Combat Boots if you like them, or her heeled boots if you prefer - we featured several models.

Fitting the collar and pockets took a moment, the helmet half of that. This is a fairly no-fuss outfit, for all the prim parts.

The Commando outfit is available in five colors: black, blue, green, red and brown. A megapack collecting all five is available for the price of three; decent discount.

My long hair sticks out from the helmet, but the pony tail was worse.

Hey, hat makers, here’s a million Linden Dollar idea: talk to hair makers and create hats with built-in hair. You can mail me a small portion of the insane money you’re going to make. You’re welcome. ;)

Jackie has been at it again, after catburglars, spies and a chauffeur, she has now added a commando to her agency.

The Graves unique hexagon design gets a urban camouflage treatment for this outfit, which should work pretty well in real life i would think.

You get loads of little pockets, that are placed around the waist and on the legs, so you can store all the essentials for a fetish commando, lipstick, ball gags, rope… well you know what i mean.

A nice tactical helmet, that is made for big hair, completes the outfit, so get yours, Master Sam needs you.

Graves - Vertigo Boots and Dragon Dress

No tip this time, we actually thought to visit Graves by ourselves. Well, I did see someone wearing the Vertigo boots at MD last week so let’s say that was the inspiration.

People-watching at fetish hangouts is still the best shopping for us; it’s easy, for one, and we’ve seen enough of what’s out there to pretty much spot the new stuff on sight.

So the Vertigo aren’t exactly this-week-new, but I liked them on sight, and it did let us catch the Dragon dress, which is indeed new.

As per Graves style, the boots are midnight black with lots of cool little hi-tech prim bits sticking out here and there. They go well with my nice old Viper catsuit.

The included HUD has the resize script (the little - and + at top), an unusual idea but a good one, I think; it allows the boots to carry fewer scripts that don’t serve that often once the fitting is done.

So if you need sexy fetish techy boots for your next spying mission (and what kind of mission would it be if you don’t?), consider the Vertigo ;)

Some lovely darkness from Graves tonight, in the form of the Vertigo Boots Mistress is wearing and the Dragon Dress i’m showing you.

The dress is rigged mesh and comes in 5 sizes so should fit most, especially because it has a closed top.

Next to the usual Graves hex print, the dress is full of very nice looking dragons.

There are 3 color options for the dress, grey, purple and the red i’m wearing, there is also a megapack with all 3 version for under the price on two, great deal i would say.

You also get cloth layer tights, which also have the Graves Hex, and gloves.

As usually Jackie supplies you with some roleplaying accessories, in this case hair sticks, a katana for on your back and a nasty little dagger in your hand.

So once again a great looking outfit from Jackie, which should work on most asian ninja themed sims or without the dagger and katana in every club in SL.

Graves - Fusion

Hikari called me from Graves and tipped me to Fusion. She does more shopping than we do, and if she ever starts a blog, she’ll blow us out of the water on new releases :)

Between the heavy collar, harness, and delicate bondage strap across the nose, I figured lelo was the model tonight.

Fusion has some of the great Graves elements we love, including hex-grid space-style textures, straps and clips and prim bits everywhere, and the famous midnight black on black bits.

The outfit is available in red, grey and purple. The harness is rigged mesh, and will fit standard-proportion avatars best. Lelo’s wasp waist didn’t play well with even the smallest size. The cost of having mesh now - I still say better now than eventually when parametric deform arrives from heaven ;)

So if your spaceship slavegirl needs a new outfit, look no further.

Fusion is a combination of prims, mesh and cloth layer, and yes that means lots of her patented hex latex.

The harness is mesh and comes in 2 versions, with and without crotch strap, and 6 sizes, i’m wearing the XS here so better try her demos before you buy.

All the cloth layers are included in the kit, even the tattoo layer we love so much. There are 3 colors available; grey, purple and the red i’m wearing here.

The colors are sold separately or in a nicely priced megapack... always go for the mega pack you never know when the next “best in grey” competition is running in your favorite club.

Jackie also throws in 10 prim buckles that attach all over your harness, making it much more interesting looking.

The top part of the harness is a big posture collar that has a resize script for easy fitting.

Final part is a nose bandage, which i don’t really get, but it works with the outfit.

Graves - Impression and Connect

Another Hikari post - if you think we’re courting the furry readership, you’re not entirely wrong :)

Hik swung by Graves, and was taken by the Connect outfit. She showed me what she guessed was the inspiration, an outfit in the Ghost in the Shell tv series, and I had to admit it was pretty similar.

I’m wearing the Impression dress, and it looks pretty darn good. Throwing on the tattoo layer takes care of 90% of the outfit, short gloves included.

The long gloves don’t quite match up with the short ones (must be a tricky tattoo thing) so if you want to wear them you’ll need to use one of the numerous other layers for the dress.

Prim collar, arm straps, stocking clips and earrings (not worn) add solidity to the clothes-layer dress - Jackie correctly points out that it fits a lot better than mesh ;)

There is mesh in the outfit, though : the dress prim part. Rigged mesh is smart for that tricky location, if one of the sizes fits you well.

A good looking dress that will turn heads on every fetish space station you visit ;)

Hikari is wearing Connect, which offers you a mesh leather jacket in 5 sizes, free demo’s are available at the store.

Graves - Order

My friends know I call lelo my magic pony because she has so many talents. Well tonight she’s a chauffeur, in a sharp Graves’ uniform called Order.

I think Jackie has this whole fetish/spy/sci-fi world in her head, and every couple of months, we meet one of the characters.

Order is suitable for a courier type: the briefcase is clearly full of scientific and military top secret.. well, secrets ;)

The shirt and tie are optional, and removing them changes the outfit quite drastically.

The cap’s shape is excellent, but the black-on-black makes it show as a lump from all but a very short distance.

Add some boots, a secret mission in enemy territory, and have fun :)

A lovely mesh driver's uniform tonight and i’m sure you already recognized the telltale Graves honeycomb texture.

In the folder you’ll get the blouse in all 3 layers and the panties in 2 layers. A pair of driving gloves complete the supplied cloth layer parts.

The prim parts give you two double arm straps, the collar and tie combo, a smart suitcase and the cap which can be expanded to house a family of 4. *winks*

Which brings us to the mesh dress, which comes in 5 sizes, i’m wearing the largest and had to make my breasts smaller, so better check the demos before you buy.

All in all another great looking bit of Graves kit. Anyone seen my limo, i’m sure i parked it here somewhere... *smiles*

Graves - Elegance

We saw the Elegance dress go by some time back at Graves, and when I tried the demo, I had problems similar to the ones I described with DeVicious’s Dream Evil outfit a while back.

I must now admit, I was wrong, and Steph Catseye was patient enough to help me get things right.

Mesh as it is right now, is made for common body types. When Steph (and others, I’m pretty stubborn so I said no to many others before her) suggested I modify my shape, I was firm. Clothes fit *me*, *I* don’t fit clothes.

Well. There’s theory, and there’s practice. In practice, to be able to wear current-state-of-the-art mesh clothing, you (and I) may have to compromise a little bit.

The change is nearly undetectable, even to hordes of adoring fans who inspect my body every night here - lelo and I have the most thoroughly documented shapes and skins in Second Life, I dare say ;)

With this simple change (a nod to the mighty force of gravity), mesh tops fit me better, and I can now model Jackie’s gorgeous Elegance dress. Yay!

The texture is classic Graves sci-fi hex, which means I can leap out of my dress into a space-catsuit and still be coordinated.

I’ll just mention that this dress will require the most demurely feminine seated pose in your inventory: knees together, ankles together, and don’t fiddle or you’ll see mesh fold itself in the fourth dimension ;)

Graves - Obedience

A gorgeous fetish slave outfit from Graves tonight, this is Obedience.

Oh, I suppose that when you’re a Mistress you can wear anything. “How daring, this Mistress is baring her breasts!” “Oh, that poor humiliated slavegirl’s breasts are exposed!” All in the point of view ;)

This said, many of us would agree that some outfits are more often worn by subs. “I look forward to your letters” as Craig Ferguson likes to say ;)

Obedience would definitely be one of those. Between the transparency, cutouts, cuffs, collar and bits of chain, I think there’s no danger of confusion.

The main outfit’s texture is a mix of very good latex shine, overlaying a small honeycomb pattern - smaller than the one on Devotion, say.

Add some heels and go serve your dominant in style :)

Time for some SF latex, courtesy of Jackie Graves tonight with a lovely body called Obedience.

Guess who got to wear that one for the pictures? yep, you guessed right, yours truly pulled the short straw. *winks*

The outfit follows the usual Graves design lines, great looking cloth layer which is brought to life by well designed prim parts, sounds easy, but it’s an art, i can assure you.

19 cloth layer parts in this one, amazing when you consider how much flesh is still exposed.

You get 2 options, opened or closed, in every layer including tattoo, so happy mixing.

There are also matching gloves and stockings and for a bit of modesty nipple covers.

8 prims are added all around the body, giving you a pretty nice collection of d-rings and carabiners, though no climbing rope is included. *winks*

All prim parts are copy and come with a deletable resizer for easy fitting, not that i had to do much fitting with this one.

This outfit works as a standalone or you can use it to build bigger and better outfits with your other Graves outfits.

Fairlight Industries - Hardsuit and Graves - Paradox

Kara Lilliehook is an old friend of lelo from a latex group, and we’ve recently been spending time getting caught up at Mesmerize Dungeon.

So when she showed up in this stunning sci-fi outfit last week, I thought it would be interesting to feature the cool combo of Graves latex and Fairlight hardsuit parts.

A brief test at our white studio showed that it was not the best place to shoot a white suit - duh, right? So we went out and caught a bit of fresh air and sunlight for those snaps.

The Fairlight parts (helmet, backpack, boots and gloves) go with the Graves suit as if it had been planned that way.

They are part of the Kojima brand at the Fairlight store; we don’t know the details there.

There is also a mysterious orange glowy thing which is either a doomsday weapon or a car door opener, I’m not sure which.

The Graves outfit is the Paradox 03 Leather-Latex Plugsuit.

We covered Paradox a while back but not in white.

The whole ensemble is sleek and menacing, perfect for sci-fi rp sims, or one of the innumerable space stations that seem to fascinate latex lovers so much.

Graves - The Thief

Who is zis Deer-dray you speak of? I am just an innocent black pussycat, the safe was open when I got here, and anyway I threw away the key ;)

This lovely (and timely!) outfit by Graves is called The Thief, and if it reminds you of anyone trademarked, it’s pure coincidence and we were nowhere near the studio that day.

As with other Graves outfits, it’s chock-full of prim goodness: belt, sleeves and collar, mask, ears, cool thigh pockets and a neat necklace with fun bangles that have nothing whatsoever to do with any break-ins.

If you want to wear both the catsuit prim collar and the necklace, you’ll have to use “Add” for one of them - most viewers allow two attachments per point now, I think.

A slinky, stealthy outfit you’ll find a million uses for - just add good boots (maybe even Jackie’s own!) and you’re set.

We ran across this lovely outfit when we visited Jackies lovely store, the shiny new signs are a true gift for bloggers like us.

The Thief caught our eye, especially when we saw the included safe, secret plans and gold bars are included. *winks*

Jackie uses her trademark honeycomb texture on this one and for me that’s what makes her outfits so special, it brings life to a usually dead texture.

So all you need is a pair of good boots, a few witnesses, play the mission impossible tune and you can have yourself some great fun. *smiles*

Graves - Bound Boots

We had a nice surprise when we visited Graves; Jackie took my suggestion and the “New” signs are now big, and unmistakable ;)

Lelo and I spotted the Bound boots at the same time, and I only had one challenge left : showing them off properly. I’m wearing a skimpy version of Paradox sans legwear.

Obviously you’ll wear the Bound boots without having to worry about this, as they are meant to match Jackie’s other outfits perfectly.

The texture is really good, so I cheated a bit in Photoshop to show you. Real snap is at the left, lightened version at the right. We snap all our pics with mid-day light, in front of big spots.

Great prim straps, great heel and foot shape.. you can now spy, infiltrate, skulk, pussyfoot and prowl in style :)

It’s summertime and things are slowing down in SL, so filling weeks with lovely new things is getting a bit harder.

So we did a quick visit of our favorite stores in SL, at times like these you really appreciate the New signs some designers use.

The New signs at Graves are hard to miss, being bright red in sea of black. *smiles*

The Bound boots caught our eyes, must be the first time i see buckled platforms, still gives a fun look.

The boots suffer a bit from what we call B.O.B. (black on black), when you zoom in you see her trademark texturing, so a perfect match for a Graves outfit.

Graves - Devotion

Deirdre:

Another bit of fetish and science-fiction goodness from Graves, this outfit is called Devotion.

Finding new items at Graves is a small challenge; there are red labels on a lot of the items, but they don’t all say “new”.

This one is a buckles-and-clips outfit; there’s even a strap with a clip on the forehead that just begs for a ball-gag harness.

Aside from the cool futuristic black leather parts, you get a transparent latex under-suit covered in a neat hexagon grid.

This outfit will be easy to mix-and-match with other Graves outfits; she’s one of the more modular-minded designers we know.

As usual, the price is very reasonable. Just add heels, and you’re there.

Woohoo my first Graves, i do love them but usually Mistress pounces on them, but seems Devotion made her think of me, go figure. *winks*

The box is filled to the brim with all kinds of goodies, including 2 tattoo layers, 15 cloth layers and 14 prim parts.

With the cloth layer parts you can add a few on top of each other to make the catsuit less transparent, i added a second layer for the back picture.

The catsuit features Graves honeycomb texture giving it more depth and making it look just perfect.

But for me the most amazing part are all the prim buckles you get, they look amazing and all come with their own resizing script.

There is a little note to remind you to make copies before you adjust the buckles and when you are done be so kind and delete the scripts, sim owners will love you for it. *smiles*

Graves - The Cat

A new-ish release from Graves (I’ve had my eye on it for a while now!), this outfit is simply called The Cat.

The Cat includes a bunch of good prim parts : goggles, gloves, arm straps, zipper, belt, whip, collar.. and the cutest lil' ears :)

The clothes layers are all there, but you can wear the catsuit and mask on the tattoo layer and save all that.

Surprisingly, there is no closed zip version of the catsuit. Guess this is not really an outfit meant for stealth ;)

Textures look great from up close, dark from everywhere else. At their smallest, the goggles fit me pretty well, but I have a smallish head - it shows when I’m not wearing hair.

So a great, inexpensive outfit considering all that you get - just add heels and you’re there.

Aaaannnd... there is in fact a bowl of milk included.

It had been a while since we had a look at Graves so it was high time to give the store a look.

The Cat just left from the entrance caught our eye and before i knew it, Mistress was purring at my side.

It is hard to place this outfit, the collar says sub, the zipper says sexy, the ears say sneaky and the whip says domme.

Well all added it says yummy to me, keep bringing them on Jackie, we love your outfits.

MdC - Latex Longsleeved Catsuit

The Latex Longsleeved Catsuit by MdC is a nice, inexpensive basic catsuit with deep cleavage and good reflections.

There’s a bit of black on black effect, but short of making your blacks grey, it’s difficult to avoid.

The vendor pic has apparently been lightly photoshopped to show the excellent details, but our pics are shot with bright lights and mid-day light setting - it ain’t getting much brighter than that without extraordinary measures, let’s say.

The cleavage is deep and daring.. you should turn a few heads with this outfit :)

Ok back to basics tonight, the fundamental black catsuit, this time by MdC.

In the package you get 4 parts, jacket, pants, shirt and underpants.

Where the tops match, the underpants are a shorter version of the pants.

The zipper on the back is well made and stops just above the tush.

In the front you get a nice cleavage making this more a party catsuit than a strictly fetish one.

Bondage bunnies will notice the lack of gloves and a high collar, so this one will work better with some good heels to party the night away.

So if you want to become one of Charlie's girls, you better get this one double quick.

Graves - Paradox

Sexy spy time again, this is Paradox, from Jackie Graves.

I should say, one of the Paradox outfits, as Paradox is a set of three mix-and-match outfits, that you can buy separate or in a megapack for a good discount.

The design is excellent, as usual, and includes cool prim buttons (called Plugs) which are probably meant to attach things best left to your imagination - I’ll go with super serum, myself ;)

O1, the opaque version, is the one shown here. The others have transparent panels and progressively less coverage - for different phases of the spying mission, clearly.

It comes in undershirt, shirt and jacket layer, and both the long and short pants are available in underwear and pants version.

Keep in mind that if you wear the plugs, you’ll tie up a fair bit of your attachment points. Then again, if you intend to wear something over the outfit, simply wear it next and lose a few plugs.

The collar also has a collar plus plugs version.. cleverly saving you some attachments.

Add some good heels and get spying ;)

It’s been a while since we last ran Graves so it was high time to have a look around.

As usually you get a certain secret spy lair feeling, i’m half expecting Q to turn up with his newest gadgets.

“note to self: ask Jackie to open a spy gadget department”

As usual the texturing is superb and even though she does have a common theme these aren’t simple copies.

So whether you name is Bond or Peel, your costume is available at Graves.
