Hyperion Creations - Dollarbies

We ran into our friend Rikki Scarmon at Domme a Domme, and I noticed she was wearing some lovely shoes by Hyperion Creations.

I won’t say money changed hands (cause none did) but a landmark was shared and we dropped by Gaelle’s little store.

The dollarbies at the entrance caught my eye, so instead of telling you about Rikki’s shoes I’ll mention those. Simply join the VIP group and you can get them for a Linden dollar a pair.

We were lucky enough to run into Gaelle tonight, and said hello. She recently released a couple of fun texture packs for her platform sandals (“Sharon”) - definitely have a look at those while you’re there

Freebies - Patula’s House

I think Patula’s House was a tip, but the note we have is from last March, so whoever sent it, thank you, we love you, ok? :)

There’s quite a few nice shoes and boots at Patulas, although regular readers of this blog will recognize some of the sculpts.

While we love original designers who make everything from scratch pixels, a good texture on a bought sculpt can produce good results, and we don’t mind sharing them when we find them.

Patula’s sells mostly fetish and fashion shoes and boots, with a bit of clubwear. But the part of the store to which we want to direct your attention is the freebies wall on the second floor: 36 items, from shoes and boots to men’s shirts.

You’ll need to join the VIP group to pick them up, but that’s not uncommon, and it’s free.

If you keep an eye on such things, Patula’s is our third new designer this week.. bodes well for the year, doesn’t it? :)

Kidnapped! - Christmas Bondage Set 2013

Community Doll Key and Dolly Dreams

A tip from Pet led us to a Doll Key and a thriving community of dolls, living at the Dolly Dreams SIM.

We were lucky enough to run into one of the owners, Jo Ronin, who is also an old friend and pony correspondent.

Jo filled us in on the history of the group: started in 2009, it started as a place based around RLV transformations, and eventually evolved into the current dolls group.

DeVicious - Christmas Calendar

For the third year, Steph is doing her crazy Christmas countdown: “24 Days - 24 Releases from 0L$ - 99 L$”, as she puts it.

We visited the new store and were impressed by the bright new look. You want light and air, you got it. You want water, you got it too :)

We’ll be covering the awesome new releases a lot, as a lot of those little mesh dresses have tons of great leather textures.

And while new releases are great, discounts on old releases are also pretty terrific.

When you visit the bright new store, make sure to have a peek in the “69 Gets Me Excited” section for past favorites at 69L$ each.

Evelock - Femdom Hunt Success Story

Deirdre:

We had a feeling that the Femdom Hunt had gone well, but I call Eve when I want the inside track on business in SL - she’s savvy and she likes a good yak as much as I do. :)

Over 1000 people picked up a copy of the gifts she offered during the Hunt - amazing results for *any* promotional activity in SL.

While those visits don’t translate into sales during the event, Eve notes increased traffic and sales since the end of the hunt - seems her strategy of putting out a bunch of new products before the start of the hunt gave the visitors something to see and remember.

Eve also put out a limited-offer cheapie during the hunt, and it sold like hotcakes; showing that the hunters do look around, and will pick up interesting items - more so than lucky chair jumpers, I would guess.

Stay tuned for more hunt gifts in coming weeks. We met some great new people along the way, and I believe our list of stores will get a boost :)

Jewelry, woooohooo! *winks*

Not quite my specialty, the jewelry i usually wear are called collars and shackles and my ears, well don’t think many have seen them naked. *smiles*

In the set you get earrings, a necklace and a belly button jewel, all in shiny silver and all numberi.

Sesame Street could have a special with these; imagine the Count doing the numbers. *muhahaha*

Still they do look lovely and who knows next time Mistress takes me to a vanilla event i’ll have a opportunity to wear them.

Freebie Bunny Hood from OpenCollar

Our never-ending quest for cool fetishwear takes us many cool places, and occasionally on Marketplace - slow news weeks are the bane of the daily blog ;)

As I hinted Tuesday, we found this very cool freebie, the Bunny Hood.

Evelock 2nd Anniversary and Giveaway

Latex Station - Dolce Latex Suit

A new Latex Station release, and a cool upcoming contest. Dolce Latex Suit is released under the Latex Station Extreme label.

The bustier and garter belt combo on the pants and shirt layer is the heart of this outfit.

A thong on the underwear layer, a bra on shirt or jacket, gloves and you’re there.

Note that the stockings end at the ankle, so you’ll want to wear boots or make a bold fashion statement with shoes.

This is a fun little outfit, but you’ll want to set a bit of time aside to manage your layers.

A tattoo layer version of the whole thing would have been a very good thing to include, and I passed the suggestion on to Cindy :)

Kcreations - Leather Vest

Deirdre:

We had Kat’s vest and I was thinking “Is it fetish enough, though?”. Then I decided, it’s awesome leather with a cool floppy collar. What’s not to love, really?

Kat will try to tell you this is a quickie job, but I say only compared to her usual months-long development process where she learns to launch spaceships around Mars so that the skirt folds look just right.

This mesh vest is a really inexpensive item for the quality, but when you visit Kat’s elegant little store, look for her lovely Dragon Mesh Dress, which she still sells at 10L$ (there are 12 versions - go nuts!)

The Fetish Spot is no more, but I’ll always remember the Dragon Dress warmly, as Kat just plunged and made it, a brand new item, when I suggested cheapies for promotion.

The textures are great up close, the shine is great from a distance. The floppy collar is totally in fashion right now, and I’m wearing the small size without an alpha - this is fast becoming my criterion for fit.

You’re nearly convinced to click that slurl but not quite? Well how about free mesh t-shirts and a developer’s kit to make your own designs? It’s right at the LZ - go, go! :)

But that’s not tonight's main story, Kat’s leather mesh vest is - and it might be a simple item but as usual it looks amazing.

You get the vest in 5 sizes, there is an alpha layer and also the alpha textures are included.

You’ll also find a HUD that will let you choose 32 different colored textures, including 4 with BDSM written on it.

You can also change the shine and tint of the texture, giving you endless color options.

So add some jeans *shudders* or leather pants and get on your hog... enjoy.

DeVicious - Vanity And Intuition Dress

Deirdre:

Good thing I wear leather gloves a lot - this one is so hot off the press I could have burned my fingers. If you want to see what I mean, check out the date on our third pic ;)

The dress in our first pic is Vanity, and the XS size fits me like a glove, no alpha needed. Three texture HUDs give 20 Mixed Fabrics (1 and 2) and 10 Leather Dresses; we’re wearing the latter here.

The leather texture is good up close, our full-body pictures don’t do it justice. The scrunchy boots are fun and give a great club look.

Intuition, the second dress, did require me to wear the alpha for a good fit. The gorgeous folds and stitching on the leather textures really make this one stand out.

The same scrunchy boots are included, and the folds stand out better in white.

It seems that Hardline, the first DeVicious outfit we featured in 2011, is one of the most-downloaded items on Marketplace - 118,000 times!

These are two of the newest mesh dresses from Steph at DeVicious, it’s hard to keep up with her.

Vanity comes with 5 boots in black, blue, pink, red and white, the Intuition sadly only gives you the black and white boots.

Once again it amazes me how she can include boots this good for free in the kit, other designers would charge you quite a bit of money for them.

The Vanity has an amazing fit, i did have to resize my girls a bit but it’s well worth it to wear this dress without the alpha layer.

One bit of warning, not wearing alpha means you’ll need some underwear, especially in SL with it’s cam freedom. *winks*

Latex Station Hunt Correction and Faith Earrings

I had a chance to talk with Cindy of Latex Station, and cleared up a little misunderstanding I had: the Sponsor Wide Hunt name refers to clubs Latex Station sponsors.

We received a cool little item from Tsuki Saphed and a friendly, polite request to feature it in the blog.

It’s a pair of earrings in the triskelion shape that has become the semi-official symbol of BDSM.

They're a bit small in my pic, so here's a closeup.

The earrings look good, and aren’t too big. The ear bit is a tiny handcuff, and the menu lets you set colors on the three metal parts, and the gems as well.

Tsuki’s just starting out, so drop by her little store and encourage her to keep going - we need all the fetish designers we can get! :)

A quick nip by Latexia revealed a nice new booth on the top floor - to be honest, it may have been there a few weeks, we haven’t visited in a while.

The booth says simply “Freebies!”, and sports a wall covered in OpenCollar goodies.

Nice enough, Deirdre, you might say, but is that really worth an entire post?

You know me better than that ;)

There are also four cool boxes, containing in full-perm version :

- All the K9 Creations puppy play items
- A RLV ponygirl kit (new to us, that is we haven’t reviewed it)
- The original SexGen base for making animated beds

Kayliwulf Kingdom - The Reveal

It’s always a pleasure to see a new Kayliwulf release and be able to share it with our readers.

The Reveal is a fun catsuit with huge cutouts. The cutouts are picked up by the big black lines (which would be fairly impossible on RL latex),

The included sandals look good - the heel in the same color as the outfit is a neat detail you don’t see every day.

The catsuit is in underwear and shirt-pant layer, allowing plenty of mix and match options - a transparent catsuit underneath, say.

Woohoo, first latex of the new year and it’s from our old favourite Kayliwulf Kingdom.

The Reveal is a 7 part outfit, available in 3 colors, red, blue and pink, which is based on the new Reveal catsuit and we thought Laz was done with his hole phase. *winks*

Next to the catsuit you also get the pretty sculpted feet sandals and the implant applier.

For the shoes you get a simple HUD to change the colors of the sandals, all KK skin colors are under presets, for not KK skins you can enter the RGB code or manually adjust the color.

You can also use the HUD to change into latex socks, all KK latex colors can be selected, you can also select the colors for your toenails.

Lazarus has put the lavender and violet version of the catsuit on the gift table in the KK store, should be fun to mix and match those.

Merry Christmas

We can hardly believe it, but another year comes to an end.

DeVicious - X-Mas Calendar

Since we mentioned DeVicious’s awesome Christmas sale last Friday, I thought the least we could do was show you a few of the cool outfits Steph is putting up at low low introductory (and temporary!) prices.

In the first picture, I’m wearing Midnight Surprise, a fun trench-coat and lingerie combo for you flashers at heart ;)

The first outfit i’m wearing is Can’t Wait, which comes in 3 colors, black, red and the original (brown) i’m wearing here.

You get the entire outfit you see here, including the shoes, face and body light and bouncy avatar physics. *smiles*

At first i got a little scared when i saw the shoes, but luckily they have a fashionable wedge heel build into them.

The second outfit is Inevitable Attention, which gives you a open breasted catsuit in 4 colors, black, pink, red and white.

And to make things more decent and interesting there are 10 different bra tops, including 4 color matched ones and 6 in all kinds of fun designs.

So get them while the Christmas sale is still going on, they are worth it.
