KDC - Classic Leather Posture Collar

Kyrah’s blog was hinting that the Classic Leather Posture Collar was getting near, and sure enough, she released it this morning. I pounced and burned my fingers as it’s so hot off the press ;)

This is a staple of RL BDSM, and it is as powerful a symbol as you can get, so Kyrah gave it the full treatment.

Thick leather, big rivets, lockable roller buckle with metal-reinforced holes, riveted ring post - this collar screams “slave wear” loud and clear.

I took the liberty of snagging one of her pics, an “early normal mapping preview” because the shine  looks like someone lovingly applied several coats of mink oil to the leather :)

That said, Kyrah took pity on us poor late adopters and the collar’s texture looks absolutely stunning even in our tired old viewer.

I’ll quote Kyrah for a bit : “NOTE: this product uses a delivery box system and can be bought as a gift and distributed freely (no copy/transfer), it only becomes no copy/no transfer when the gift box is unpacked.”

You’re smart, you can take a hint ;)

Kyrah has been at it again and built us a brand new, exquisite leather posture collar, that looks good enough to eat.. or wear… *winks*

As before the collar does what a collar should do, it locks and secures your neck, putting you in a somewhat awkward posture, hence the name.

Some might not agree, but i love that in Kyrah’s designs, no RL collar can control your speech, you use a gag for that, and that’s Kyrah’s thinking as well, keeping the scripting clean.

The one thing you can also do with the collar is chain your wrist cuffs to it, using KDC’s TouchBound system: touch the side of the collar you want to chain to and touch the cuff next and you are bound.

Simple and elegant, just like the included color HUD that gives you a choice of 8 colors for the outside, stitching, inside and border of the collar.

The metal items on the collar, like the big ring on the front, get a choice of 7 metallic colors.

So go get it, i know you want to add this to your KDC collection… *smiles*

Rosal - Steam Complete Set

Introducing the Steam Complete Set By Rosal - we’ve had that one in our pockets for a few days and it was starting to burn holes ;)

Considering that when we see someone wearing one Rosal item, it’s usually accompanied by the rest of the matching set, being able to buy them all together should make a lot of customers really happy.

Tsarina made an incredibly efficient unpacker that sends folder after folder in your inventory, plop, plop, plop. She could package that and sell it to other designers and make a… wait for it… Mint ;)

I went with white, and lelo stayed with black, but there are no less than eight textures for the set - not counting the endless variety once you start fiddling with tints on all the parts.

There’s so much to love in this kit that I don’t know where to start. The straps and O rings at the tops of gloves and boots - with seams, straps, rivets and subtle shading at the edges - caught my eye, in particular.

The fit is awesome, as usual, and the white is so gorgeous that I threw on the neck collar, a part I usually skip.

Throw this set over a catsuit or Victorian outfit and go save (or conquer!) the world in style!

We already showed you the corsets of the Steam series, but now Tsarina has added the boots, ballet boots and gloves, all in one nice package.

As with all Rosal products you can access the menu by using channel 2 in chat and naming the part, like boots or waist.

With the menu you can set the colors of your item, you get 8 colors to choose from, they can be set for every single part or as a set.

You can also add optional frills to the items you are wearing, making the outfit more feminine.

All the parts come in 3 sizes for the corsets and 6 sizes for the boots and with the included well cut alphas, they should fit most in SL, the corset even comes with two height sizes, for the longer girls.

Also you will find OpenCollar-scripted versions of the corsets in the box, so even you bondage bunnies are being catered to.

Xalia’s Curiosities - Cuffs and Collar set

I've been a long time reader of your blog and actually one of my older products, the Rubber Infusions Catsuits, was reviewed around 2010.

You guys have been an awesome source for finding new gear and I was hoping you would review a new item that I've made apart from my partner.

I've been been working on a set of collar and cuff scripts to replace my dependence on OpenCollar for several months now to reduce the over lag associated with these (...)

While OpenCollar is popular enough, anyone making their own scripts to reduce lag has my cheers. Lelo likes them well enough, and they look good.

We received a lovely set of cuffs from Xalia and we didn’t want to keep them from you as i love the look of them, but then i’m that kind of girl. *winks*

The currently available version uses the OpenCollar script we all know and love, but that also has its problems.

Xalia sent us the (at this time) still in development V2 that features a complete new script to replace the OpenCollar one.

I really like that she’s brave enough to script her own collar/cuffs and i must say, even if it’s work in progress it feels solid, is easy to use and she’s open for suggestions. *smiles*

The fitting is pretty straight forward, even if the leg cuffs are pretty big and at an odd angle, she explained that that’s because she was a furry and that it will be fixed in a future update.

The cuffs have a nice and chunky look and you have a choice of 9 colors for the strap and backing and the buckle has 3 color options.

So go and support the brave little designers in SL and if you have any good suggestions for her script, i’m sure she will love to hear from you.

Creepy’s Fetish Wear - Rubberdemon Reloaded

We usually space posts about the same store in time, but Sancho’s an old friend who came back (see “prodigal son”) and he had this great demon outfit, this is Hallowe’en - I just couldn’t pass it up :)

Faithful readers and people who use our label system will remember (or find) our October 2009 Rubber Demon - a new rubberdemon four years later is not excessive.

There’s a lot of parts to the new Rubberdemon but no cape - I poked a bit of fun at Sancho over that one ;) - but you do get some very good spiky mesh  boobies.

The colors are pretty dark; I had to bring our spotlights up close for the pics, so expect blacker blacks and reds unless you use face lights.

The outfit went on with nearly no adjusting, except to the top-of-the-head piece. I’m wearing the medium boots, dark red and shiny. The horns are suitably demonic in black and red.

This is not a Hallowe’en cheapie, but you do get a lot in the box. Add some glowy red eyes and go scare little children ;)

Another reloaded oldie by Sancho at Creepy’s Fetish wear, which we just had to show you as it’s fresh off the assembly line and it ties in with Hallowe'en.

As with the Rubberslave, the demon comes with a lovely black and red catsuit in underwear layer, a tattoo layer hood and some matching gloves, leaving only your feet exposed.

Feet that get hidden by the mesh overknee boots in matching colors and 5 sizes making them fit most avatars.

The spiky nippled mesh breasts look very good, and together with the spikes on the shoulders make the midsection of the outfit.

Most prim parts go on your head, including goggles, a skull ridge, a rubbery pony tail and two big horns, that should make it more than demonically for you.

Final item is an Open Collar, collar serving all the subbie needs you might have, not that this outfit gives you that look.

Happy Hallowe’en to those who are celebrating it and for everyone else, hold on it’s almost time for the weekend. *winks*

Creepy´s Fetish Wear - Rubberslave Reloaded

A re-release of an old Creepy’s favorite, Rubberslave Reloaded is a complete re-working of the 2008 heavy rubber outfit.

This is not fashion, but clearly fetish play gear: rebreather, urine bag, zips on the eyeholes.. your masochist rubber bondage bunny will pee her pants from excitement - but that’s ok! ;)

The included boots are covered in straps and O-rings, there’s a number of prim bits like thigh straps and belts (including chastity), a big thick collar riding over a neck corset.. I think there’s really not much room left for any more bondage kit.

And let’s not forget the prim corset (in four sizes) matching the neck corset (also in four sizes).

Just be considerate with the re-breather sound effects in public areas - not everyone wants to stand next to Darth Vader.

Tonight we have a treat for our heavy rubber fans with a reload of Sancho Watanabe’s Creepy’s Rubberslave.

As with the original you get a catsuit in underwear layer and a matching hood in tattoo layer, all with a good-looking carbon-like texture.

Then there are the prim add-ons that make the outfit, all 26 of them, giving you everything from boots to a chastity belt.

The chastity belt has an optional piss bag and strap on dildo, so it should also make the most perverted hard core rubber freak happy. *winks*

The gasmask is one of the trademark items of the old outfit and it’s also back with this reload, i love the goggles which can be zipped closed by a simple touch.

Most of the prim parts are full mod and don’t come with a resize script so take some time to fit them just right, don’t forget to make a safety copy first and use a good pose stand. *winks*

HybridZ - Plastique Toy

A terrific new offering from Hybridz tonight, the Plastique Doll avatar is a complete avatar, including shape, skin and boots.

It’s offered at 199L$ as a limited-time promotional offer, so I don’t need to tell you to pounce now :)

This is a pretty adult toy, as with most of Hybridz creations. The prim parts (collar and ballet boots) are simple and fairly detailed, and the mesh head is pretty suggestive… just needs handles behind the ears ;)

The included shape is shorter and curvier than lelo, so we stuck with her usual shape. Two different versions are available, pink (shown here) and black (vendor pic).

A must-have for any hard-core rubber doll, and at that low price, hard to pass up.

Rosal - Steam Waist And Neck Corset

Steampunk is all the rage lately; steam and gears are magical, and genius inventors can make anything - just ask Jules Verne!

Obviously, costumes have to match the era; have no fear, Rosal is here to help you look suitably Victorian, with the brand spanking new Steam waist and neck corsets.

Steam is incredibly customizable; you can change the color of the base, straps, center, rim, metal bits, lace strings and frilly lace bits, all independently.

The fit is remarkable; I mean, even improved on previous Rosal corsets. The S1 Normal fits me like a glove, hips to ribs. I’m really impressed; I snapped a pic to send to a RL friend who’s a corset model!

The center piece of the corset is a very neat set of gears; they look so authentic that I expected them to spin. Maybe it’s best that they don’t - I wouldn’t have been able to look away :)

Tsarina has been busy again and after Tron and the victorian era she has now taken steampunk as inspiration for her new corsets.

I’m wearing both the waist and the neck corset, both come in 3 sizes to fit most AV’s in SL and the waist corset has a small and big breasted option as well, guess which one i had to use. *smiles*

You also get a tight and normal version for the waist and a open collar or normal version for the neck corset.

Both corsets can be color matched to your current outfit, there are 8 presets or you can color all the separate components and for that perfect match you can use the included tint picker HUD.

Finally there is the option to add frills to your corset, just in case you are afraid it’s looking too masculine.

I do hope that she will add boots and gloves to the series soon, can’t walk around without those. *winks*

Graves - Fusion

Hikari called me from Graves and tipped me to Fusion. She does more shopping than we do, and if she ever starts a blog, she’ll blow us out of the water on new releases :)

Between the heavy collar, harness, and delicate bondage strap across the nose, I figured lelo was the model tonight.

Fusion has some of the great Graves elements we love, including hex-grid space-style textures, straps and clips and prim bits everywhere, and the famous midnight black on black bits.

The outfit is available in red, grey and purple. The harness is rigged mesh, and will fit standard-proportion avatars best. Lelo’s wasp waist didn’t play well with even the smallest size. The cost of having mesh now - I still say better now than eventually when parametric deform arrives from heaven ;)

So if your spaceship slavegirl needs a new outfit, look no further.

Fusion is a combination of prims, mesh and cloth layer, and yes that means lots of her patented hex latex.

The harness is mesh and comes in 2 versions, with and without crotch strap, and 6 sizes, i’m wearing the XS here so better try her demos before you buy.

All the cloth layers are included in the kit, even the tattoo layer we love so much. There are 3 colors available; grey, purple and the red i’m wearing here.

The colors are sold separately or in a nicely priced megapack... always go for the mega pack you never know when the next “best in grey” competition is running in your favorite club.

Jackie also throws in 10 prim buckles that attach all over your harness, making it much more interesting looking.

The top part of the harness is a big posture collar that has a resize script for easy fitting.

Final part is a nose bandage, which i don’t really get, but it works with the outfit.

Rosal - Unmei Complete Set Multicolor

Tsarina showed us her new Unmei mesh gloves a while back and asked our opinion. Well, that was a pretty flattering thing, I thought.

We got the advance peek, and we helped a designer make up her mind about crucial design elements. This is a pretty sweet career :)

The Unmei Complete Set Multicolor will be a welcome addition to your wardrobe if you, like many we see, are an unconditional fan of Rosal and want to wear the full kit.

That’s really not a hard thing to understand; it all looks good, it’s incredibly detailed, and between the texture change and the tinting, you should be able to match any outfit up to the wildest Hallowe’en costume out there.

The gloves are absolutely gorgeous, and I was really taken by the inside-arm O rings. I snapped a few closeups, worrying about the best way to show them off.. then saw that Tsarina’s vendor pics do a fine job of it.

The fit is excellent; I threw on the medium gloves, and they fit my upper arm perfectly.

The ballet boots are new, like the gloves; we showed you the Unmei platform boots and corsets when they came out.

As a note, Tsarina’s excellent “combined alphas” is in every folder but it’s boxed, so it’s easy to miss.

Woohoo new ballets tonight and they are mesh as well, can it get any better? Well yes: it’s a complete set from Rosal.

We are looking at the complete set tonight, which now comes with ballet boots and gloves next to the corsets and platform boots we showed you earlier.

Back to the boots, they look great and offer you loads of options to make them work with all your outfits.

First you can use the script in the boots, which let you select one of 7 colors, but you can also change the separate components of your boots.

Not enough choice? Tsarina also includes a HUD in the kit, here you can change the color of every part of the boots, in every imaginable tint.

In the main menu you can also show/hide the obi (bow), the tassel and tassel plate to personalize the boots even more.

The gloves and corsets offer you the same options and all work following the same easy system, she even made the HUD so that one can control all the items.

Rosal - Tueur 2 Mesh

Deirdre:

A gorgeous new corset and accessories from Tsarina Mint, this is the mesh re-release of her Tueur line, called Tueur2.

This wasn’t a copy-paste job; Tsarina told me how long the redesign took, because of new features like the frills and such. Even the heel click sound was work; its tempo is adjustable, all the way up to running speed!

You may notice that I’m wearing the medium-sized boots. The small should fit me but didn’t, quite.

Tsarina was kind enough to visit - and we had an awesome chat that may result in cool new things coming from Rosal! - and she pointed out that if I reduced leg muscle a bit, the boots would fit better.

She also explained that the rear top gap let the boots look better with most walking anims. All cool info you can’t get anywhere except from the designer; I had to assure her that this was not dry and boring, au contraire.

Lelo wore every option that could be turned on, and I turned them all off; you’ll note frills, back-of-the-hand crosses, and side straps on her but not on me.

And as usual, I feel dressed up enough in my Rosal kit that I just threw on a latex bikini and called it an outfit.

Tsarina did what we hope all designers in SL are doing at this moment, she went back to her prim best sellers and made them all meshy.

Tueur has been around for awhile, but she redid it in full mesh and it looks great and fits great as well, ok you’ll need to wear your mesh compatible avatar, but that’s a small price to pay.

Tsarina includes a good list with size suggestions for the different sizes she includes in the kit.

Color can be edited with the built in menu which gives you 7 main colors (color textures) or you can change the tint of the separate parts with the included HUD, as i did with the red glow on my version.

Next to the alphas for all the parts, Tsarina is so kind to include the combined alphas for all her gear, don’t you just love it when designers do the work for you.

So if you were already loving her corsets but never got around to fitting them perfectly, go Mesh you won’t regret it. *winks*

Latexia - Opencollar and Freebies

A quick nip by Latexia revealed a nice new booth on the top floor - to be honest, it may have been there a few weeks, we haven’t visited in a while.

The booth says simply “Freebies!”, and sports a wall covered in OpenCollar goodies.

Nice enough, Deirdre, you might say, but is that really worth an entire post?

You know me better than that ;)

There are also four cool boxes, containing in full-perm version :

Evelock - Circe Chair and Unity Collars

I called up Eve to get her advice on <obvious tease> a certain secret project I won’t go into right now </obvious tease> ;)

She’s an experienced builder and we feel the same about many things.

She mentioned she had new collars since the last time we featured her; as it’s been quite a while, I said I’d be delighted to see them.

She also built a pretty awesome chair, the Circe, which has a wagonload of good D/s and snuggle poses.

There are three pose menus : Snuggles has 7 poses, Just Miss has 9, and Miss & sub has 6. The chair has 5 textures for the arms, and 4 for the cushion. I recommended a leather shine one - I’ll keep you posted ;)

The menu is very different for owners and users; as Eve says on her blog, no more pesky fiddles from mischievous types. Oh, and the chair is only 3 prims; good news for the prim conscious - ie, everyone.

The Unity collars (labradorite and snowflake obsidian pictured) are lovely, delicate braids holding stone beads and a tiny shiny rune charm. Beautiful work!

The Unity collars is primarily meant for male subs but when you rotate it down it works great for girls.

Though this is more jewelry than a collar, it still offers everything you would want from a collar, just a more vanilla look.

And that’s the thing Eve was going for, everyday wear with a hidden layer.

Dark Elf Manufacture - Steel Heaven II Collar

Nihal’s cool new collar line, the Steel Heaven II, are based on some Real Life (tm) collars made by SM Factory.

The very cool part of that not-uncommon SL occurrence is that Nihal actually got permission from the company first, and received the right from SM Factory to sell them in Second Life.

The collars are mesh, and will fit everyone from a petite to a giant. Actually, “you can make the collars so small that you will choke a petite” is how Nihal put it :)

The gold and black “NQ” was one Nihal made for herself and that customers saw and liked, so it became a released version.

The design is awesomely detailed; I particularly love the hinge joint at the back. This is the fun kind of stuff I look forward to seeing more of thanks to mesh.

The instruction notecard nicely acknowledges Dari’s public domain scripts as the starting point, then mentions the improvements. I love to see that very cool open source stuff.

This isn’t the bendy, follow the skeleton, kind of mesh but the normal kind that looks crisper than the sculpts and prims we are used to.

The script gives you 2 pages of options in the menu and for the other options there are 3 pages of chat commands, controlling everything you ever wanted from a collar.

The collar is filled with 5 partner animations and no less than 77 poses.

You also get matching wrist and ankle cuffs in the sturdy case and also brushes, leash holders, leash posts and a leash anchor.

So great looking collar with the usual level of excellent scripting, these people are into BDSM and it shows.

Evelock - Pride Collars

Deirdre:
A new release by Eve is a joyous thing; I always look forward to the lovely new designs.

This time is no exception, with the lovely natural stones of the Pride collars. Pictured in order : Lapis Lazuli, Moonstone, Garnet and Labradorite. (The closeup is Labradorite.)

These are posture collars; the points are meant to keep a girl’s chin proudly up.

While we usually like to feature items being worn, I felt the filigree was so lovely we had to show an extreme closeup of it.

Like the first of Eve’s collars we showed you, the Pride has Celtic genes : the torc design, here represented by the largest stone, and reinforced by the lovely knot filigree.

So get them all, and mail checks to Eve so continues designing ;) I half kid.. but do support designers and SL artists :)

Moyet - Spiked Corset and Latex Body

To be perfectly clear, the kit I’m wearing tonight is Moyet’s Spiked Corset, along with the Spiked Collar, and Spiked Cuffs, three separate items.

If you think “Klingon Lingerie” when you see this gear, you have the same sense of humor I do. I recommend seeking help ;)

The lovely and wicked spikes on all three items look quite good (and fierce) at fairly close range, but fade a bit from a distance. Nature of the beast, and definitely not a bug.

The corset has a good pose included. By good I mean that it holds the corset solidly in place, affecting walk, stand and sit poses.

The collar has a wicked-queen look to it, but sports a set of five cute little padlocks in front (the first one is even monogrammed!). So I’d say it’s suitable for domme or sub.

The generous invisiprims around the corset are mod; take a copy before you start, and reshape and resize them at need.

Then go hug rubber dolls.. or, try ;)

Don’t worry your eyes are still working fine, just happens Mistress ended up with the spiky stuff and for a change i got the sexy clothing *yay*

I’m sure somehow i’m going to pay for that, but hé whats life without it’s little risks.

The latex body comes both underwear and normal wear layer, giving you room for jackets or lingerie.

Next to the stockings and gloves, you get the fluffy collar and cuffs in the set.

The overall design is simple and i just love that, no overdone, “only works in SL” stuff, simple is good in these basic clothes.

Just add shoes, jewelry, the normal or locking kind and you have the base of a great outfit here and the fluff makes it stand out from the crowd.

EveLock - Posture Collar

Our new friend Eve Terr, who you’ll remember from the cool celtic collars we featured in October, called us with a nice new posture collar this time

It has lovely clean lines, fit lelo right out of the box, and avoids the common black-on-black pitfall with an excellent wrinkled-leather texture.

The buckles have a fun locking mechanism and cool little padlocks with through-and-through keyholes.. I love that kind of attention to detail.

One small thing worth noting, the collar is transferable, so don’t hesitate to buy one as a gift for that special magic pony doll bondage bunny in your life.

I remarked to lelo that it wouldn’t look out of place on a ponygirl, and she agreed. Maybe there’s a market there, Eve :)

Our second run of a Evelock product, this time a nicely sculpted posture collar.

First thing you’ll notice is the nice leather (brown!!) texture on it, making it stand out from all the black in SL.

Except for having to pull the collar a bit up it was a close to perfect fit for me, i’m lucky that way i guess as there is no resize script in the collar.

As with the other collars from Eve, you get the scripts based on Dari’s, Eve added a fun little clip-on bell, just in-case you don’t want your pet to sneak up on you.

So once again a lovely crafted bit of kit from Eve, which will make you stand out from crowd, with still one of the best collar scripts in SL.

Evelock - Collars

Eve is a friend of Nova’s; armed with a nice introduction, we dropped in on her and the cool mall she manages at Velvet Thorn.

Eve wanted something specific and couldn’t find it, so as smart people do, she set out to make collars that suited her.

The collars, then, are celtic inspired designs with delicate textures and lovely names like Tribal, Weaver and Celtic Swan.

Weaver is actually new, so not only did we find a new store, but just in time for a new design.

Eve has more “adult” designs at the store, so don’t hesitate to drop in for a peek, especially if you have a male slave to keep in line. There's also a little free gift in a neatly shaped box.. I'll let you find it. :)

It’s been a while but we have found some new collars we just had to show you.

Eve smartly uses one of the best free collar scripts in SL, Dari’s, so no surprises there.

Only thing she dropped from the script was the bell and changeable text to save prims and more important, keep the great look of the collar.

And the look is what makes these collars special, she put a very good looking graphic design on the nicely shaped collar.
