Pet tipped us to deviousMind (their spelling), so I thought it was only fair to let her model the cool ChainedLust harness. She's wearing the platinum chains here.

It’s a rigged mesh harness made from connected bits of heavy chain. Not your basic jogging outfit but it has its place in a kinky wardrobe.

deviousMind tags itself “burlesque couture and accessories”, and while it’s true that not all the outfits there would suit this blog, with forty-nine pages of 12 items each on Marketplace, you should find one or two things you like.

Pet also pointed out the Layali outfit at deviousMind, which is a silks-and-chains mixed outfit suitable for Gor enthusiasts.

The store is a bit of a maze, but fortunately, the chains are in a straight line from the door, right behind the fountain.

Karu Karu - Buckle Strap Combos

Deirdre:

Some cool new straps and rings and buckles at Karu Karu, and as there’s a wagonload, we’ll just show you two, and the vendor pic for all of them together is our third pic.

Now I was discussing harnesses as possible domme wear with lelo, and as usual, my sweetie and I agree, short of throwing a catsuit under it, no amount of accessorizing makes this a Mistress outfit. (Mind you,  it looks stunning over my red POC catsuit!)

The astute reader will have guessed that Rosal Tueur gloves and Bax Regency boots are not included in the Karu Karu box ;)

I’m wearing the Combo number 4.. Chane should have made one more, just for the name.

The straps and big O-rings and buckles make a striking symmetrical pattern, and the thigh straps make a great garter belt.

Lovely, inexpensive additions to any outfit, or worn as-is if that’s your taste, you’ll definitely catch the eye.

New AO Script From DEM

Chloe, of Dark Elf Magic, shared a bit of news with us this week, and while as she said it’s neither “shiny, exciting or fashionable”, it’s still pretty neat.

She created a replacement script for the standard ZHAO II animation override, using some “very new” LSL features, she told us.

Technical details went right over my blonde locks, but in theory the script should be way less laggy than the original.

Latex Station Hunt Correction and Faith Earrings

We received a cool little item from Tsuki Saphed and a friendly, polite request to feature it in the blog.

It’s a pair of earrings in the triskelion shape that has become the semi-official symbol of BDSM.

They're a bit small in my pic, so here's a closeup.

The earrings look good, and aren’t too big. The ear bit is a tiny handcuff, and the menu lets you set colors on the three metal parts, and the gems as well.

Tsuki’s just starting out, so drop by her little store and encourage her to keep going - we need all the fetish designers we can get! :)

Evelock - Circe Chaise and Minim Set

Eve Terr gave us a call this week, said she had a new release she’d like to show us. I said, “Oh, something matching the cool sofa?”, and what do you know, my ESP was working that day ;)

The Circe Chaise, then, is pretty big, but amazingly low prim. Eve builds for prim misers like me : seven prims for the entire chaise!

The menus are extremely simple and clear: pose menu on the cushion, and texture menu on the base, accessible to the owner only - no bad surprises that way.

The Miss-sub poses are excellent, there are tons of them, and they are easy to adjust. Easy to love that item :)

She also sent us the Minim furniture set: at one or two prims each, with eight or nine poses, but no texture menu, you can set a bunch down when you have company.

No texture menu on the Minims, but they are mod, so you can simply edit and tint.

This is just a short Friday peek, so do drop by Eve’s new studio and see the demos, and don’t hesitate to call Eve with inquiries - her own words, I wouldn’t set hordes of readers on someone like that ;)

A.I. Toys - Sculpted Handcuff Jewelry

It took me a moment to remember how we got to A.I Toys, but with lelo’s help, I got it: about two weeks back, I got the idea to go peek around Think Kink’s new locations in little malls we don’t know. (An included notecard in a toy - hint hint, designers!)

First mall on the list was Dark Wishes, where we saw a vendor for A.I. Toys, which we followed to the main store.Well, Bare Rose it ain’t, but there’s still a few cool eclectic items in the store.

The little handcuff jewelry set really caught my eye, and before I could blink, lelo had bought it and offered it to me (it’s trans!).

Keen-eyed readers (and I mean stalker level, here) may have noticed that about the only piece of jewelry I wear aside from my wedding band is a necklace with tiny prim hearts.

So what am I wearing here? A necklace with tiny prim handcuffs :) It’s part of a very inexpensive set including handcuff earrings. I love it, and you can look forward to seeing it in future shoots when I forget to take it off ;)

A.I. Toys include a good sexy shape, a RLV tranq gun (I want a RL one!), and this hilarious sign post I couldn’t resist sharing with you, indicating in standard Vienna Convention design that high heel and corsets are mandatory.

BareRose - Skeleton Harness

BareRose Tokyo isn’t typically known for their selection of pony play gear. The sprawling store has hundreds of outfit choices on walls that raise the height of ten avatars.

Buried amongst the myriad of outfits I was surprised to find a lovely little harness.

Located in the “Sexy” section of the store (fourth row from the bottom, middle of the wall), the “Skeleton Harness” is a great outfit for a pony looking for something a little bit different than the standard BDSM harness.

The harness itself is on clothing layers, but has prim attachments to accentuate the outfit that give it a bit of flair. I found the prim portions to be easy to adjust and fit, although the outfit even looks great without them.

The harness can be worn alone, or with included latex under layers which come in six colors (black, blue, orange, pink, purple, and red).

One of the best aspects of this outfit is the cost. Like most others at BareRose Tokyo, the Skeleton Harness is very affordable at only L$150.

The store also offers other fetish outfits and many more non-fetish, and the store is well worth a browse, despite the often confusing layout.

Hugo's Design - Suba 2

A cool (pun!) harness from Hugo’s Design this week, this is Suba 2, a new and improved Suba harness (which we covered last February).

I think Erik goes South for the winter, so he thinks up light, airy clothes while he’s down there.

Suba 2 has more of an all-tied-together feel, with the straps linking stocking and glove tops.

The straps look terrific over a catsuit, as modeled here by lelo, but if you have a bare skin fetish, they also work well ;)

Suba is back for a second showing, as Erik seems to love his harnesses.

The big improvement is that you now get gloves and stockings that attach to the harness

This gives you a bit of a dressed feeling, well a very little bit that is. *winks*

As usual you get all layers including the tattoo layer and Erik kindly included some pasties, though i doubt if that will make this one PG.

Still a good looking harness is a must for every serious sub and mandatory for ponies, and this is one of the best harnesses in SL.

Squeaky Rubber - Burning Star Catsuit and Star Harness

We dropped by Elisa’s little skybox to see what was new since our last visit, and I was pleasantly surprised to find these new low-cost outfits - I hate to call good quality work like this a “cheapie”.

Burning Star has Squeaky’s trademark translucent look to it, and it’s gorgeous.

You get two pairs of gloves (I’m wearing the contrasting black, but there’s a zentai-effect, same color glove included) and two pairs of stockings, along with two bottoms and two tops.

There’s no jacket layer included, which makes sense - why wear a full catsuit over something else?

The black star motif is a neat touch, and a change from plain, solid catsuits.

Elisa tells me she has new things coming up... we’ll keep you posted :)

Nothing says sub quite as much as a good belted harness, and here it is.. *winks*

The Harness comes in black (full picture), lime, red (close up), brown, pink, silver and white.

You also get all layers so you can mix and match them to your outfit, do you wear it under or over a corset??

Ohh you should see the back it looks great... ahh you can't... well get your own and you can stare at your own bum for a change.

Next to the harness you get a nice rubber-skin, which Elisa still calls a prototype, not sure why it looks great.

The skin tone is neutral and so is the make-up, so for me it works without losing my face. *smiles*

At this price no sub should be with out one.

Illusions - Ebony Mask

We’ve seen Illusions masks around for a while, and I was always meaning to drop by.

I was not disappointed by the store. It’s a lovely open structure, and it’s very easy to look at all the gorgeous models and pick just the right one.

This one is called Ebony Mask, and first, it was really inexpensive. As in, “I’ll go back, rob the shelves, and give some masks to friends” inexpensive.

Second, it’s incredibly well made. It’s a very, very clever sculptie that will adjust to your face, and that’s all I’ll say. Can’t reveal trade secrets ;)

The masks are available from the vendor in male and female version, and in copy or trans version : copy if you want fiddle with one and keep a safe version or save with outfits; transfer if you are buying to give to someone. First time I see this from a vendor, and I LOVE IT!!! It’s absolutely brilliant.

So drop by the store, or mail Siyu some money and tell her Deirdre told you to do it. If nothing else, it should blow her mind ;)

Elixir - Albedo Sunglasses and Bodysuit 2.0

The latest Elixir release is those lovely, futuristic Albedo sunglasses, but I thought it would be kind of boring to just wear that.

I thought that they would go really well with the Latex Bodysuit 2.0, and what do you know? I was right! ;)

The sunglasses have a very good menu, allowing texture, opacity and shine change on the lens and frame, and a cool flip option to wear the shades up on your head.

A note about the body suit : it comes with cool prim shoulder pads and pant legs. You will fiddle to fit them. Take a copy first ;)

While looking in our list of designers we saw that we had neglected Elixir for some time so we went and had a good look for what's new.

The real news were the sunglasses and as we both liked the look of the 2.0 bodysuit we were quickly sold.

Where the glasses say snowboard queen the catsuit makes it a more spacey thing, you just have to love those 80's shoulder-pads.

Khorus shows once again that Elixir has it's own style and goes it's own way in SL.

Spider Productions - Reg Buckle 3 layer hole/hole Black (steel) belt

We were wandering around Spider's store - you could play paintball in there, it's so big - and I saw the belts.

Well, I'm always looking for good belts, as all the ones I find don't shrink enough.

I picked up this one without too much hope, but lo and behold, it resized down to my hip size (here's an actual quote from a rude designer I am oh so tempted to name : "why not make your hips normal?" Go to hell, unnamed designer, go to hell.)

So. Spider Carnot, gentleman and excellent designer.

Go see him. Give him money, and buy his wonderful, well-fitting belts.

Accessories tonight, a girl can't do without some nice accessories and a good looking buckled belt should be in every girls wardrobe, especially the Domme's.

This good looking belt by Spider Productions is a great place to hang your whip.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Arnold Sunglasses Black

Well I did the "cheap sunglasses" bit from ZZ Top before so I won't hit you with it again ;)

Fun shades from Kayliwulf, loosely based on the Terminator sunglasses made popular by our favorite killer robot from the future.

Good transparency, the usual Kayliwulf vast array of colors.. I almost got the pink ones, just for fun.

A definite biker look to them, so I wore my nice racing suit from Magna Carta (now sadly defunct, but we'll track down the designer!)

Good way to spend the last remains of a FetishCard ;) "Ah'll be back!"

Mistress loves her sunglasses, and she looks wonderful in them so i can only agree.. *smiles*

The Arnold's are simple in design but they still work great, there is a thing called over engineering.

The best thing about the glasses is the shine and transparency, something you won't see on the freebies.

Adjusting the glasses is simple as they are full mod, Mistress just "stretched" them to the smallest size and fit them on her lovely nose.

Instant rough boy/girl look, just add the leathers and boots and you'll be there.

Unique Needs : Uniform Cap

Found this lovely cap with my usual method of shopping : saw someone wearing it, asked who made it, ran to the store and snagged one for myself ;)

This is the first cap I see that looks good to me. We've seen quite a few that looked "off" for some reason : too big, wrong shape, the front too pointy... well, this one's just right.

Hats that really work are pretty rare in Second Life. Either you see something that's meant to be part of a costume, for which you make allowances, or they're too big, too small.. and you can't attach them to the head, the hair is there.

The cap is "worn" on my chin, my spiked collar is on my nose.. and no kidding, if I want to wear shades with this combination, they have to be attached to my mouth.

Clothing in general is not easy, is the conclusion I'm slowly reaching, I guess.

The exact name of the item at Unique Needs! is "Black Latex BDSM Hat". It is sold by itself, or as part of an outfit.

You just have to love the way this hat looks and what it does to your overall look.

It takes a while to fit it just right, especially getting your hair to fit takes a bit of time and a good pose stand.

Rumor has it that Ann can replace the BDSM symbol with your initials, but we didn't ask, as we like the look.

Another piece of the perfect Domme's outfit falls in place.

Zorena's Black Sable Cloak

Deirdre:

What is it about a cape? I just love them, couldn't tell you why. This is another of those accessories I saw on someone and had to have.

Following the designer's name to the store (Ookami Ningen), I discovered a rustic wood-paneled house near a Japanese garden... an unexpected mix.

The store is large, and well laid-out. Cloaks are on the right from the door, and the work is very good. Zorena Deckard figured out how to make a good fluffy-looking fur, good prim cloaks, and churned out a wide variety of items with those two elements. Among many other things, I should add.

The price was low enough to decide me to buy immediately. I think that's a good strategy for designers. Better to sell ten items at 150L$ than one at 1500$, folks. If your work is good, the more people wearing it, the more people will see it... and peek, jump to your store, and go buy one ;)

a lovely cloak, with a very realistic looking fur collar, the cloak is rightly called Russian as it has a very Russian feel to it, you can just imagine wearing it while riding a pony drawn sled through the snowy Russian steppes.

The store is a strange collection of styles, old 20th's jazz, Japanese garden, clothes which are Russian, Japanese and some ballet clothes.

Still the quality looks good and prices are low, the best combination in SL and RL *winks*

Kayliwulf Kingdom, Trinity Black/Obsidian

I just had to do that ;) I love my Trinity shades, and while it's true they're one of the less expensive items at KK, I think they look terrific.

Bling.. I'm not big on bling. Eh, it's easy enough to say "bling off" (in public channel) to stop flashing like a strobe... or, just edit the lenses (don't forget to check "Edit linked parts") and throw away the pesky script as I did.

it's amazing to see what these simple glasses add to the look of my Mistress, you can just make out her eyes behind them and the nice little highlights on the lenses add a certain extra to the simple design. As she says: cheap sunglasses, but a real must-have.
