Bax Coen Design - Ankle Boots Red Suede

I asked Bax if she had anything new and interesting in her catalog.. turns out she did.

Here are her improved red suede ankle boots. The texture is very, very good : if you look closely, you get the feeling that those boots are actually velvety soft.. well, like suede.

They come in four stunning colors : Fire (pictured), Dark Blood, Burgundy, and Rust. You select the boot color in the menu by clicking Colors and Main.

I also got a sneak peek at new upcoming colors, and got permission to tell you about them in advance.

Think Valentine's Day.. pink! Baby pink, hot pink, and purple. You'll be able to mix and match with latex designers outfits like Pink Eye by Kayliwulf.. by design. Bax is smart.

Latex Desire, Victorian Latex Combo Black

Deirdre:
A prim and proper riding outfit from Latex Desire, with quite a few interchangeable pieces in the "combo box" package : two shirts, one pair of pants, two coat tails and a skirt - definitely a recommended buy.

Yes, it's a pity, I had to go peek at the price for you, gentle reader, and it was a gift from lelo.. see what I do for you? ;)

This lovely outfit is zero prim - nothing but clothing layers, intelligently used. This is what I wear for our ponycart rides, with the Minx shoes we covered some time back. The wicked buggy whip is just for show, lelo is the best pony in Second Life.

Oh, do drop by the Latex Desire store, if only to see it.. it's a really fun-shaped skybox.

When i saw this outfit i just had to get it for Mistress, somehow it just shouts "Riding Mistress" to me.

I made the mistake of buying it without checking if it was transferable, which it wasn't.

Luckily Miss Persephone was kind enough to send a second outfit to Mistress after my promise of deleting the one i had - talk about great customer service.

She even went so far as to send it at the moment i requested, just to make the surprise complete.

The latex look is good, but the thing i really like is the lace look of the chest part and the chains keeping the jacket closed.

A must have for any latex loving riding Mistresses. *smiles*

Badkatz : Over The Edge

That beautiful leather and lacing caught my eye when I walked into Badkatz.. I didn't recognize a thing from my last visit. Yummy, the store is gorgeous. Stop moving everything around, ok? ;)

This is a long corset, or a short, short, short dress. If you accessorize that one, thigh boots and shouder gloves would be good.. but still pretty much bedroom wear.

The reflections are great. Leather is hard to make, I know; you hardly see any good leather pants or jackets. To make a little dress/corset that looks this good requires both skill and devotion.

Awesomely inexpensive, like most of Badkatz's products. I might suggest a undershirt and underpants layer to make accessorizing easier, but other than that, I love love love it.

A pretty standard black little dress, just in leather, Mistresses favorite fabric.

It features nice lacing front and back, the rear is mostly lacing, somewhat like a corset.

The one thing i love about this dress is the way Yummy solved the old problem with the front of skirts in SL.

The small prim panel matches the texture of the clothe layer remarkably good.

A texture that has a great leather look by the way.

Vulpine Wear : Prim Bikini

When I mentioned to my friend Synder Sands that a good bikini was a hard thing to find, she dragged me to the middle of nowhere, to a lone vendor, and showed me an all-prim bikini. It was really inexpensive, so I said, why not?

Well, this is one of the best why nots I've said recently. The bikini is made by Zia Zobel, and while it's aimed at furries, it looks pretty terrific on us smoother types too.

This is another full-crate type of deals : large, medium and slender sizes, each in tall and short; top with or without torso straps in all those sizes; a color changer hud; and a pose stand to adjust the bikini once you find your size. Just needs an IKEA allen-key ;)

A whack of good colors (including black leather!), rings in silver, gold or black.. and a wet and dry version for each color. I think you can wear a different bikini every day for three months ;) Did I mention Bora Bora is very nice?

The new shop is quite a step up from the lone vendor. A bunch of good prim items, most of them naughty and just as well made as the bikini.

I wonder how I look as a fur?

Well we are talking about 3 pieces of cloth some strings and a couple of rings, you would think easy...wrong.. this is a pieces of prim sculpting.

First one i've seen here and looking at the way it's made i'm sure it will be a while before we see another one.

Almost every prim is a sculpty, takes a bit to load but looks far better then any regular prim.

Combine this with a quick color/texture changing hud and you'll be the envy of everyone on the beach.

And if you think what has this to do with fetish? Add some nice thigh high boots and you'll see... *smiles*

On the other hand we just love to soak in the sea near a sunny beach....

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Pink Eye

Valentine's day is coming, and Kayliwulf has some suitably-themed outfits.

Introducing Pink Eye, a simple six-piece outfit, apparently made for the bedroom, as it comes without shoes ;)

When I say introducing, I mean that we just got this from Lazarus 15 minutes ago... gotta love that.

The gloves, panties and babydoll nightie are made with Kayliwulf's neat Lacetex material, a latex lace, quite original.

Bright colors and good latex reflections are the designer's trademarks. A great gift for your baby doll.

KaShoez: Seduction

These are amazing boots, but they're special for me for another reason : they're an anniversary gift from lelo. How she finds time to shop for me I'll never know.. thank you, my love.

First thing that will catch your eye is the gorgeous texture on those boots. Amazingly well rendered leather : folds at the knees, reflections.. I love them.

The boots are sculpted prims, and they are mod and copy. I wanted to take those pics immediately, but I'll be making a safety copy and resizing them to fit my legs - out of the box the fit is decent enough. You'll need to adjust the position a bit, but with a good pose stand, it's not hard. (Cipher's pose stand is amazing for this kind of thing, by the way.)

Extremely low price, I'd call them a loss leader if I knew more about her business. It's certainly going to put Kashoez on the map in a hurry.

The heel is good. Lower than some, but variety is good. If everyone made five inch stilettos, we might get bored.. nah ;)

A menu let's you change colors and control sexy walk, heel click and volume. There are two different blacks, one more black-blue as if from cool lighting; also blue, violet, pink and red.. pretty wild.

Deal of the century, get them while they are hot.

Simple heel, with a nice height, good sized prims and some good scripting.

But the two things that really make these boots are the texture and the price. At such low price, with this quality, she is almost giving them away.

There is one problem, the store is located on the last sim run on a Commodore 64, so take your time and lunch when you want to get them.

Still it's worth the trouble, to sum it all up in one word.. "WOW" *smiles*

The Drawmachine : Evening Star

Where to begin? First of all, Armin Wiefel is a genius, ok? A moment, I'll explain ;)

This outfit is gorgeous, it caught my eye the moment I walked in the Drawmachine store. I hadn't visited in a while... my mistake, it seems.

So I get the outfit, and open it... and items pour in my inventory for half an hour! Seriously, not counting one landmark and three notecards, there are THIRTY-SEVEN parts to this outfit.

The boots come in a big and small size, and have fur-top and non fur-top versions. There are three different pairs of stockings, two belts... even fur at the top of the dress comes in a C cup and E cup. Okay, that name is misleading, cause I'm wearing the E, but you get the idea.

The dress is gorgeous, and has a prim part to make a good skirt shape. There are FIVE prim parts, in different sizes. It took me thirty seconds to find the one that fit me and position it as I liked.

The belt is perfect. I love belts, but they don't love me back.. this is the first one I find that fits me well.

Those wonderful Drawmachine leather boots.. that's how I first discovered Armin's store, I saw a girl wearing them. The best leather look I've seen on boots in SL, and the fur tops are a great winter touch.

Evening Star comes in several colors : purple, red, light blue, orange and black.

It is an absolute steal at the price. I haven't gotten this enthusiastic about new clothes recently.. drop by and tell him Deirdre sent you!

I always loved the look of these boots, and now they come with the perfect outfit.

Not the sexiest heel in SL, but good walking boots and the best looking leather look texture in SL.

The dress is very sexy without being slutty, i just love the way Mistress looks in it, really makes her lovely shoulders and neck stand out.

I wonder if Armin could make a leather catsuit with the texture he used for the boots, that would be a fetish must have.

I'm already looking forward to the next Saturday night dance, with Mistress wearing this outfit.

VR Foundry : Spreader Bar and Yoke

A bit of heavy metal today ;) A lovely yoke and spreader bar set by Vivian Rail's VR Foundry.

Very detailed metal work, looks beautiful and very convincing.

Looking for something nice for in the living room? Why don't you lock your sub into these, makes a nice little display and costs no prims. *smiles*

These two are sold separately by VR Fetish, but make a great set.

Both are nicely scripted and RLV compatible, as you would expect from toys like this.

They offer the usual options, a key system like most will know from Marines shackles, timer system, up/down on the dildo and of course the locking.

Two things show how much time and effort Vivian has put in her toys:

1. the attachment places are chosen so you can wear them with prim boots and collars. The yoke attaches to the shoulder and the spreader to the hip.

2. to adjust the width of both you can use a special option that makes the bar extend or retract, so you don't ruin the delicately sculpted prims.

Quite a severe bondage toy, wearer beware, there is no escape out of these toys and only movement i manage was turning in circles.

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Times Square

A simple, lovely outfit from Kayliwulf this week, understated and demure... except for that deep back cut that shows cleavage in the rear ;)

The sandals are original and fun, a nice change from pumps and boots.

Another nice mainstream ensemble from Kayliwulf, consisting of a long latex dress, latex open palm opera gloves, latex fishnets and some new shoes by Laz.


The front of the dress is very conservative, but turn around and the dress is a bit more revealing. Ohh.. does this dress make my ass look big?? *winks*

The gloves really match the feel of the ensemble, just something to wear to the shows on Times Square.

The thing that really caught my eye with this ensemble are the shoes, or as Kayliwulf calls them: sculpted/scripted FetishDoll X Latex Stiletto Strap Pumps in Black.

Some really good looking strappy sandals with a nice heel but the highlight is the zipper running across the front.

The shoes have the usual scripting we have gotten used to from Kayliwulf.

All in all a great outfit for a nice night on the town.

Perversion Island : The Bondage Bordello

Deirdre Young: Will Bondage Bordello focus mostly on escorting?
CheriBomb Vavoom: The focus here will be voice interaction in a bondage/fetish environment, though escorting is an element also that Miss Kai wants us to tap into.

CV: Yesterday we had our first show, but we are not officially open yet

DY: How was the show?
CV: It was a fresh new show , we need to practice it more, though we did have fun at it

DY: Do you have an opening date set?

CV: No, not yet. We need to hire more girls. Right now we have about 5 of us that constantly here; we need at least 30 girls to get rolling and have girls maintain the stage too.

DY: So you're aiming for 24h coverage, like Twisted Orchid?
CV: Yes, yes we are. 24/7!

DY: I think Kailani's been helping you a lot? The place already looks terrific.
CV: Yes, she has been excited about the startup. She's been spending a lot of time here setting the building structure up.

DY: You and Crimson Dinzeo are managers.. and I've already seen quite a few assistant managers?
CV: Yes , yes, Crimson and I work well as a duo. We are the opposites in some ways, balancing each other out.. we need that.

DY: Do you have a more European or American crowd?
CV: So far, I've been meeting a lot more Americans since I come on during the evenings. Though I met a variety of people on voice, it's exciting to hear them talk.

DY: Would you say voice is getting more popular in SL in general?
CV: Yes indeed. Just chatting in voice, you can really convey a lot more than typing

CV: Crimson is going to be reading pervy stories on Tuesday nights at 6PM. SL time.

Guest Blogger Ophelia Hax : Rubber Kittens SlaveDoll

Some time ago Mistress felt a certain desire for a tightly restrained doll. Rubber Kittens and the Rubber Lab offered just what Mistress wanted: SlaveDoll. The outfit covers a doll completely in nice black rubber with purple accents. Yes purple ... not my favorite, but red is reserved for MistressDolls.

The black skin is needed so that your real skin does not peek out under the gasmask hood. There are nice boots and globe mitts to keep the doll from touching. There is also a neat rubber hair piece.

The most interesting part is of course the hood, a gasmask really. Mistress can choose the filter I have to use. None or regular when she feels nice, one or two hoses ... or the rebreather when she feels evil.

Unfortunately the hoses sometimes go into the doll's body depending on the pose. And Yes, you can switch the breathing sound on and off.

A masked doll cannot just talk, right? Her only chance is to speak through the built-in SlaveDoll speak. The speaker will use the embarrassing name Mistress chooses for her doll.

Mistress can set the color of the lens. This will of course affect the way doll sees through the gas mask in mouselook, which can be forced upon doll. In my case the world turns purple - the small area that was still visible from inside the mask. And yes, the lens can be turned black.

After Mistress locked her doll, a timer feature will give slavedoll some hope that she may be released eventually.

Overall: the look is quite extreme - and the speak system is cute. I only wish it would have RLV support.

WarDooM Shoes : Elegance lack

A fun platform sandal. The ankle strap almost looks like a cuff, and the O-ring and strap construction is quite original.

It takes runway model (or stripper) training to walk in these in RL.. enjoy ;)

Good old fashioned platform, that come in the usual colors, one is special, the snake.

This one has a very good snakeskin texture, sadly doesn't it show very well in the SL photographs, so i guess you have to get your own to enjoy the texture.

As you would expect with a WarDooM design, the little belts are a work of art.

The heel and platform are as they should be, perfect.

Only improvement would be better looking toes and toenails in SL, maybe some prim toes...... hmmm...

Not really a fetish shoe, though some will argue on that, still a great addition to the line up at WarDoom.

A real must have for all you dance pole huggers out there *smiles*

Kayliwulf Kingdom: Lunatic Fringe

Deirdre:
This is one of those "not possible IRL" outfits, to steal a phrase. Fuzz and latex? You'd electroshock all your friends.. hmmm.

The translucent latex color is called obsidian, and you better not lose that top frou-frou, cause it's not just see-through, it's see everything more clearly than in your bare skin.

The fuzz is really well made. The front zipper is also terrific. There's a delicate balance in SL between too small and too big : invisible or cartoonish.

There's a miniskirt under the bottom fuzz, and I mean micro - I have belts that are wider.

This is not an outfit to go take a class at NCI in. Well, you could... but you might make a few students flunk ;)

Foxy little number, i'm just a sucker for see-through latex and obsidian is the best in the KK collection.

The micro-skirt uses the clothes-layer skirt, so better get out your micro butt AV, these skirts add quite a few cm's to your butt.

Still the combo of the clean 10 inch thigh high boots, the obsidian and the fuzz hiding all the right places, makes this a real head turner.

Ohh and if you are feeling really naughty just go out without the fuzz and i'm sure you will stop traffic. *smiles*

Guest Blogger Ophelia Hax : OpenCollars

Hello everyone.. Deirdre here, introducing a guest blogger. Ophelia mentioned the OpenCollar project to us, and I suggested she tell us more. Here is the result.. with any luck, we may see more excellent posts by Ophelia soon.

The one thing that every submissive needs is a collar. There are many collars available, good and bad. It used to be that you got what you paid for. That is no longer true since OpenCollar has arrived.

Opencollar is a full-featured collar, with loads of poses (including my favorite - subhug), locking, advanced owner management, and full RLV support.

And it's free! You can pick one up at the OpenCollar project headquarters. If you join the group (you may have seen people wearing the 'Ask about Opencollar' tag), many cute, elegant, playful, themed, or just bluntly brutal designs are available.

I had a nice chat with one of the founders of OpenCollar, Athaliah Opus, while we were relaxing on cushions in a skybox.

Ophelia Hax: You the founder of the OpenCollar project - what role are you playing in it?
Athaliah Opus: OpenCollar was created as a small project between friends that quickly grew. Nandana Singh and I started it going but now we have many scriptors and other people donating time to help improve it. We gave out the scripts only using word of mouth and it just started to spread and grew to what it is today. It came from a simple idea to make submission free in SL.

OH: What do you think is the best feature of the OpenCollar?
AO: You mean other than the ability to hand a full perm collar to someone where they can look at the scripts and learn how it is put together and how each part works? There are so many features in it, and we add more to it all the time.

My personal favorite is the badwords feature. Here's how it works. Every time I say a word that is on the badwords list, I get warned by the collar. Then it places me into the punishment animation, which the owner can set.

Mine is set to put me underground so that I am not able to be seen by anyone on the same level unless I type out the penance phrase. The default one is set to be "pet is very sorry for her mistake" but again, the owner can set it to be anything thing from "Uncle" to "My owner is an amazing god and I grovel at my owners knees to beg forgivness".

There is a lot of fun that can happen with a creative owner. And I will say, when you’re frantically trying to get that penance phrase in, it can take a few tries.

OH: Are there any features that you are still missing in the collar?
AO: Not that many. We encourage everyone to go to our code site and put in suggestions on what they think is missing. Sometimes there is discussion, and sometimes something is added quickly as it was forgotten. Open Source has always been been flexible in that way.

OH: Opencollar is Open Source, GPL [Gnu Public License]. Are you going to enforce that?
AO: Yes, each collar has the license inside of it. I will be following up on it, but in my mind people are smart enough not to pay a lot for something they can get free at the headquarters.

OH: Are you concerned that someone will insert malicious code into OpenCollar?
AO: Not really as we do have a few checks in it and we have some very smart scriptors that are amazing. Everything is tested several ways before being released to the OpenCollar group and then some time is spent before it is placed as a stable release.

OH: How many contributors do you have?
AO: Oh my. I can give you a list but the ones that have contributed a lot have a donation board with their name under it in the Headquarters. We didn't at first, but had to add them because we had so many requests on how to thank people. My part of the donations also go towards support tier.

OH: If our readers feel compelled to contribute work ... what should they focus on?
AO: Find a part of it that interests them and improve on a part of it. Passionate people make great things. We also have a help wiki where we need help adding more content and making it a better resource. All of the URLs and code database URLs are kept in the group notices so that anyone can help.

OH: OpenCollar is quite successful. What is the next big thing we may expect from you and the group?
AO: We have gotten a lot of requests for other things but for now we are going to focus on the collars. Well, it also depends on what others want to help with. If we get a lot of people inspired to make things to go with the collar, we will see.

OH: I have seen a few other OpenCollar devices - personally I like the hood/helmet!
AO: That is a very unique hood Collar. Quitero Klaar made it and a lot of other non-traditional designs.

OH: One last question: Do you still find time to USE your OpenCollar?
(Athaliah laughs). I do but most of the time I tend to use mine to show the features to Masters/Mistresses at the headquarters. Also I use it a lot to try and duplicate issues. OpenCollar keeps me busy.

The collars are beautiful and feature rich, everything you find in the standard collar and then some. Maison Broceliande: Spurs with sexy walk bling and sound

A gift from my favorite ponygirl, the characteristic "shling, shling" sound adds just the right touch of Western to pony play.

They bling as well as shling.. I don't know how to turn the bling off - soon as I do, I'll let you know.

They're lovely, you'll probably want to wear them with your favorite boots. That works fine so long as your boots don't have a prim upper. Otherwise, you have two items fighting for the same attachment spot.

You could conceivably edit your boots and link the spurs to them, but that seems like a lot of work.

I cheated here and wore some Kayliwulf boots that don't have a prim upper. The spurs look fine with shoes too, of course.

The box comes with a silver and a gold version. They are no copy but transferable.

A must have for each pony owner/trainer, but that's just my opinion.

The prim work is very good and the points on the spurs are quite frightning.

The designer only missed one little thing, well two if you count the problem with prim boots, i guess that shows the age of them.

But have a good look at the buckle and you might see which little thing i mean.

Still with their look and sound, people around the ranch will know you mean business.
