Ponka - Erin and Darkhunter

A pair of cool science-fiction outfits from Ponka today: I’m wearing Erin, the tough leather post-apocalyptic bounty hunter with ruffles ;)

Lelo is wearing Dark Hunter, a shinier and equally deadly space-type outfit.

Erin comes in every single layer possible; there are actually tattoo layer parts for the corset, the jacket, and the pants.

The jacket is unusual, a kind of ultra short bolero. On a whim, I tried it on over my Kcreations red leather catsuit, and it gave a cool, ST:TNG-ish look.

The pants and corset share the same shine, and the jacket is a less shiny dark grey which is more similar to the boots.

Speaking of lots of parts, the mesh boots come in M, L, XL.. and a very neat Small which is both boots in the same mesh item.

So strap on your gun belt and go hunt down those interstellar felons, or what have you.. in style :)

Darkhunter comes with a lot of prim parts and like Erin, every imaginable cloth layer.

You get 10 prim parts in the kit, from a pair of lovely dangly earrings to the samurai style shoulder pads.

All prim parts come with a resize script, but be careful they are no copy so no safety copies.

The boots aren’t included and might take a bit of searching to make them fit just right, the pants have a brownish tone to them, so leather boots fit them best, like the Utopia boots i’m wearing here.

Catch It - Tess Mesh Dress

We saw the Tesh dress go by on Fetish Consolidated, and I liked it on sight. How do you not love a little black mesh dress, right?

I’m still using Phoenix, to the despair of some of our designer friends, so I’m still hitting the one-alpha difficulty now and then.

We have a weekend project of upgrading to Firestorm soon, but in the meantime I’m wearing my Bax Prestige Latex boots with invisiprims, as the minidress alpha uses both top and bottom spots.

Someone has to warn old-timers about these things, eh? I desperately want to point to the “Four Yorkshiremen” sketch, but it’s not right.

We have plenty of good new features, freely available if we let go of the old and embrace the new. Change is hard. Sometimes it’s worth it. Sigh.

So. A great little mesh dress, available in 11 colors! Go to Catch It, and get a little Catchi bear, too ;)

As usual with mesh you get the dress in a couple of sizes, 5 in this case and Pad knows how to keep her customers happy, sizes range from XXS to L. *winks*

Next to the 5 dresses you get the alpha layer that hides the sticking-out bits, and you also get a color HUD for your dress.

With the HUD you can change the prim shine of the dress and you can make the dress darker.

Ohh, better wear some panties with this one as it’s ultra short and rides up while sitting. *smiles*

Karu Karu - Halloween Body Zip Suit

Hello boys and ghouls :) Ok, Elvira I’m not, but tis the season to be silly.

Chane made a really clever catsuit this year, the Hallowe’en Body Zip Suit. Two versions, one layer each - this is not a mix and match item, it would pretty much defeat the purpose.

The bones are grey rather than shining white, and they look really good. You should get quite a few double takes wearing this one :)

Also, as a special Hallowe’en offer, there are two sets of favorite Karu Karu outfits (Nona, Tanja, Synergy and Natascha in one, Nadine, Susan, Yasmin and Monica in the other) in pumpkin orange, for an incredible 99L$ per set.

That’s right, you could buy 8 outfits for 198L$. The vendor is near the landing zone, in the “impulse buy” area at the store ;)

This lovely catsuit gives you the option to wear the top and/or the bottom opened, hence the zip part in the name.

The top zipper opens to the belly button and just barely manages to cover up the girls, the bottom zipper is a bladder infection waiting to happen. *smiles*

You don’t get feet with the catsuit, i guess all those little bones were a bit too much work, so better wear some boots with it.

PoC Move

It’s under way but it’s not quite done: Powers of Creation is moving their store to a new location.

We heard last week as Kai cancelled an event at Dark Refuge. It’s really not like him to flake out, so I enquired and got a bit of advance info.

I might not even share it just yet if not for the big sign at the main store; one thing our sources know about us in the last four years is that we respect “off the record” requests.

Why, I could tell you... no, no, I kid ;)

So PoC will be moving in a very clean and uncluttered tropical sim, with a new and improved store layout. Dates and actual info from the man himself forthcoming, I’m sure.

I’m wearing The Demoness, and lelo’s looking jailbait-ish in Pumpkin Spice.

The Demoness is a very cool homage to you-know-who, and with hair, shape, skin and tattoo makeup included, gives you everything you need right out of the box.

You wouldn’t be a very good KISS demon if you didn’t play your axe, so you get a very cool guitar-playing anim (snapped it in mid-riff in our first pic). Head-banging included, of course!

I’m wearing Pumpkin Spice tonight, which works great with Mistresses Demoness or better rockstar as i think Pumpkin has a definite groupie feel to it.

The massive platform combat boots aren’t quite my taste, but work great with the theme of the rock groupie.

Once again an old school skirt, yes i know they aren’t mesh, move all wrong and are covered in Prims 101, still i love the look of these and nothing is going to change that... yet.

SeXy - Freebies

Another Hikari tip led us to SeXy - I swear, I’m giving her stock options in the blog soon :)

The generous freebies table caught our eye, and as an introduction to the store, we picked up a bunch of them to show you tonight.

I’m wearing the Kombi Black and lelo the Neon Latex Skirt Pink outfit in the first pic, and I have Capella Red in the second and lelo has Tallulah Pink. It’s totally a coincidence, I’m sure.

Kombi is a good, simple outfit made with a pants-and-shirt combo, with latex stockings thrown in. Capella is a top and string, and to save myself little-censorship-heart-pasting, I turned around.

Great free outfits, well worth the detour by the store to go get, and if you accidentally get exposed to the nice outfits for sale and spend a lot of money at SeXy, don’t blame us too much ;)

The neon skirt comes with everything you see in the picture except for the boots i’m wearing and as you might know i’m a sucker for a prim skirt like that.

The pink or more magenta shine looks good and shiny pink nipples are always a plus, this is a fun party outfit.

Tallulah is more underwear or like Mistress loves to call it bedroom wear, it’s a simple 3 piece outfit of which the stockings should find it’s way into your favorites folder in no time.

Next to the outfits we showed you here there is also a great looking harness in black or red, which is a bit too seXy for the blog's PG rating, but believe me this should look great on a pony.

XTC Leather - CorruptCop and JailBird

You have the right to remain... sexy ;) Yeah, it’s a cheesy line but I love it.

Some classic costumes from XTC, as I promised last time. I’m wearing CorruptCop and lelo is wearing Jailbird.

Cop comes with four pairs of boots: the black leather I’m wearing in the pic, and three alligator leather ones: plain, black and cream.

The boots have invisiprims and so are suitable for v1 users, and a no-foot alpha is included. Mod but not copy, so careful ;) The whole outfit is trans, suitable for gifts.

One clothing layer for the top and the hotpants, in the usual excellent XTC tradition of good leather highlights and folds. Cool shiny prim handcuffs at your belt and a very good police cap are included.

I might add some mirror aviator shades and a nightstick for a costume party, but this is a good basic costume right out of the box. Go personalize it and have fun!

Well a few days to Halloween and we kept this one just for the occasion.

This is a fun couples outfit even if the cuffs don’t work, people should get your are together.

Jailbird comes with everything you see in the picture, well lelo is not included in the pack, but the rest is.

This includes the lovely boots and fun cap, both are prim and are just the way we love them, simple.

You also get a skirt with the by now mandatory prim insert to hide Ye Olde Linden booboo.

Preview - XTC Boots

Our friend Pet was nearly bubbling with excitement when she called us this week: she had a hot XTC tip to throw our way, and did we want to see it?

Yeah, it didn’t take too long to ponder that one ;)

So she showed up tonight and modeled for us the new, upcoming, not released yet.. XTC mesh boots!

The shape looks really good; Xav is such a leather lover that I expected no less. The folds look really good, and the colors are meant to match his existing outfits.

If the boots seem a little dark, they are probably meant to complement and not take focus away from the outfits.

No actual release date available yet, except “after Hallowe’en”.

Zarz - Liquid Latex Stiletto boots and Naughty N Nice - Bound To You

Hikari Shirabyoshi, our dear friend and furry model, is like a shopping bloodhound ;)

She found these two amazingly well-matched bits of shiny goodness and I said, we have to feature them together.

She agreed, mostly because she’s a sweetheart and and also because she knows a photo session at the studio takes moments thanks to our awesome setup - all home built, with me pointing vaguely and lelo handling the prim hammer and saw.

So, Hikari is wearing the Naughty N Nice outfit called Bound To You, sans long skirt, and the awesomely shiny (really, they glow!) Zarz Liquid Latex Stiletto Boots.

Bound To You is a new release at N&N, and is available in eight colors, including Red, shown here. The bare leg is fun but requires a bit of management.

In Hik’s case, her base coat (pun!) makes a solid color really stand out, but for us flesh tone type, it makes the outfit a touch more like clubwear than traditional fetish.

The boots by Zarz in Candy Red are a design we’ve seen but the texture is so spectacular that we have no trouble running it again. They’re available in twelve shiny metallic colors.

Tiny Latex - Free Tiny Pony

Hikari showed us these very cool tiny ponygirl avatars, and we just had to share them with you.

Now obviously these are the demos, and you’re encouraged to go buy Ruthi, the full version, which comes with a couple of latex catsuits and an applier that will let you reuse clothing made for other mesh shapes.

Things keep getting fancier and fancier around here.. I barely keep up :)

The tiny pony is completely adorable, and I think a cart pulled by four of them would be the one single most awesome vehicle in SL.

I caught Subus online and she was very friendly and helpful. Seems she had the idea to host a tiny pony event.. so she made tiny ponies. I do love creators!

This is her first mesh design, and we definitely look forward to more.

There are 3 free versions giving you a choice of a zebra, leopard or verde (green) catsuit.

In the box you will find quite some gear for a freebie, first there is the mesh body, a alpha layer to hide your full size body, the mesh pony head with bridle.

Next there are the Open Collar tiny bridle and sub AO to give you a nice pony stand/walk.

Finally you get the a Squeaky rubber harness, a tiny tail, tiny eyeballs and a shape, though it does work on your own shape.

The eyes can be pushed forward as they are hidden under the head, giving the pony a very cartoony look.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Perfectly Pink

A skimpy outfit for the pole dancer in your life, this is Kayliwulf’s latest release, Perfectly Pink.

There’s the famous Kayliwulf marabou feathers (aka “fluff”) on gloves and sandals, and a tiny little skirt, and not much else.

It’s not a bad thing, I often have to tell myself we can’t only review catsuits.

Hallowe’en is coming.. barbie costume, stripper costume, blonde bimbo.. the possibilities are endless, unlike the coverage ;)

Bond Street - Spiderwoman

We saw a cool ad go by on Fetish Consolidated and that caused me to call Aimee and suggest we feature her brand new Spiderwoman outfit tonight.

We spoke to her a few hours after she finished the outfit and made it available at her store. Seems the costume was a request by a few people, including one of her good friends and... Pet, our famous personal shopper!

Aimee was pretty pleased with the result; you may see wandering around wearing her own creation, which I feel is a good sign :)

The eye and arm web prims add a touch of drama to a simple, well-made costume.

Add some big, dramatic black hair (not included) and you’ll wow them for Hallowe’en.

Ok a new latex store tonight and also a first possible Hallowe'en costume for this year.

Spiderwoman comes with everything you see in our pictures, just add some yellow high heeled boots and you got the perfect ensemble.

Next to the catsuit, which comes in two cloth layers and is completed with gloves and socks, you get the prim eyes and the two little wings.

You can adjust the glow of the eyes by clicking them in 3 different levels of brightness.

The mask is tattoo layer so you do keep your own face behind the mask. *winks*

The webbing texture used on the red of the catsuit has a great moire effect.

So have fun finding matching yellow boots and take care when jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

Hugo’s Design - Cat 1 25% Sheer

A quickie Friday post today: we’ll just mention that Hugo’s Design came out with a transparent catsuit called Cat 1, 25% Sheer.

The 25% tints will probably be followed by a 50 and a 75, since there's already an opaque Cat 1.

30 parts in the bag, plus a vendor pic (we love those), landmark and note.

Good base for building Hugo outfits over - just add lots and lots of straps ;)

Dare Designs - Looking for Strange

Deirdre:

When I saw Looking for Strange by Dare Designs, I blurted out “Oh, that reminds me of DV8.” Yeah, I’m still working on the diplomacy thing ;)

Fortunately, Dare wasn’t offended. It turns out he worked with the DV8 designer, and they *are* closed, so no harm and no foul.

The (unrigged) mesh mask and boots are completely original creations, and the textures are hand-drawn. We approve!

The color versions (10 plus black) are neat, mostly avoiding the dreaded black on black. The multiple reflections are fun, suggesting rows of lights.. definitely an industrial setting.

Do use the resize script if you intend to restore the boots to their store-bought shape; they’re no copy, which makes manual fiddling less safe than when you can take a backup.

So get a gun and go hunt up mutants, or robots, or whatever post-apocalyptic baddie you like best - ooo, I know, zombies! Zombies are all the rage lately. Go shoot zombies! ;)

Back in latex tonight, this time a new offering from Dare Designs called Looking for Strange, well that can’t be hard in SL. *winks*

You get some clothing options with this one, starting with a bikini, then you can add a waist cincher, stockings, gloves, garters or pants. There are also a pair of long gloves included.

The mesh boots are part of the package and look good, but need a bit of adjustment to fit perfectly, but what’s new about that.

Finally there is a mesh mask that has the same simple resize script as the boots and if you are new to the blog, with simple we mean good. *smiles*

The thing i really like about this one is the color fade from red to black, very nicely done.

Kidnapped! - Maid Accessory Gags

Remember in August, when a shoe-gag in a store reminded lelo she had a good one in her inventory?

Well, the store where we saw the memory-jogging toy was Kidnapped!, and we return to it tonight to show you a great toolkit for the maid in your life: the Maid Accessory Gags.

Some are well-suited to static poses, maybe with a ton of bondage gear, or just an order to “stay still!”: the lamp gag and ashtray gag, say.

The others encourage a more active participation on your maid’s part, scrubbing, ironing and vacuuming.

These are simple but good-looking toys; I think we don’t really require mesh toilet brushes yet ;)

So it was time to slip into my favorite maids uniform by KDC and chase the dust bunnies around the house.

The kit comes with everything you might ever need so your favorite bondage maid can keep the house tidy.

The look of the gags is good and for me a perfect fit, there is no resizing menu but the gags are fully mod.

Scripting is simple but does everything you need from a toy like this, including a fun little struggle game to get you out of the gag.

There is the usual RLV support and for the lovers of open keys a ban list to fight off the “klickers”.

True Connect - New SL Introduction Service

We dropped by Hybridz during our shopping rounds, and noticed a True Connect terminal.

Didn’t think too much of it - new things pop up all the time, right?

But then we visited Latex Web, and lo; a True Connect terminal. Well Mariko Demonia was on, I called her and got caught up - she’s a sweetie and we hadn’t talked in a while.

Then she gushed about True Connect and revealed that it was a Kailani Ling project, and she was really excited about it.

Truth is, a good kinky introduction service is something that is very badly needed in Second Life. There are so many subs looking for dommes, ponies looking for trainers, and furries looking for snuggles, it’s not even funny.

The terminals hand out a simple HUD item, which will let you call up a menu and fill in your information (in 144 questions!), then will keep looking for new matches while flashing ads.

From the notecard :

The HUD will display a count of your potential matches, or (for a fee) the names.

1) To display just the Count, once your profile is stored, click on Match and then COUNT. The number will be displayed above the HUD.

2) To display the names of matches, click on MATCH and then MATCH.

3) Current connections. Click on MATCH and then on Connections to display the individuals for whom you've currently paid to connect to.

XTC Leather - Mach 7 and DarkMatter

Lelo told me the other day “We haven’t featured leather in ages.” When I got back on my chair, I agreed and we dropped by XTC.

Xav’s been busy, and we have two of his recent outfits (in case I’m being too subtle, that means more are coming!) tonight: I’m wearing Mach 7, and lelo has DarkMatter for women - yes, there’s a men’s version, as with many XTC outfits.

Mach 7 is a double outfit: a tiny bra and tiny tiny bikini panties, and some nice black pants, gloves and a white jacket.

The gloves have designs matching the pants, which I hope aren’t mystical demonic symbols that will make my monitor bleed at midnight. ;)

The jacket is a cool belted bolero; it washes out a bit in our studio, but you can see it better in Xav’s vendor pic. He takes some of the best vendor pics we see, I should note.

I’m wearing DarkMatter here, which is a leather bra, some studded leather pants and a lovely see thru blouse.

All in the usual great leather textures we know and love from XTC, well not the blouse of course. *smiles*

You also get some matching studded gauntlets and a intricate necklace in the package, both working nicely with the outfit.

So just add a pair of nice shoes and go paint the town.. hmm.. black i guess.
