I was yakking with lelo tonight, and we got to talking about super heroines and fetish costumes.

What are the odds, right? ;)

Well the next Avengers movie is coming soon, and Scarlett Johansson plays our favorite spy / assassin / leather-catsuit poster child, the Black Widow.

Z and A Productions - Gags

I was poring over a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore when George the raven brought a few goodies from Z&A to lelo :)

We’ve seen a lot of boxes, but George wins the prize for best ever, hands down.

These are just a sampling of Antony’s recent efforts; you need to check his blog nearly as often as you read ours to keep up.

The ashtray gag is just about the most humiliating thing I can think of for a non-smoking sub - bleh! ;)

The candle is more fun. It throws real light, too - with the new Firestorm way of displaying light from objects, I live in a much brighter world than before.

Good looking items, clean, simple design. I did notice that from 5m away, clicking the gag for the menu, I was warned to come closer. Let’s call that a feature so people don’t fiddle with the gag from across the room.

Some fun toys tonight, courtesy of Antony at Z&A Productions, who has been busy lately, producing all kinds of (restraining) fun.

The gags are straight forward and come in all kinds of versions, something for everyone.

Fitting the gag was easy for me, i just had to raise it a bit to fit me perfectly, if need be all SL edit options are available for the perfect fit.

The menu is easy and gives you control of who can access the gag, turn off IM’s and the flame or the smoke of the gag.

There is also a timer option, so you can lock and forget about the gag, well you can as Domme, the wearer won’t be so lucky.. or.. *winks*

We went for the ashtray and candle light gag’s as they looked the most original without endangering our PG status, but check out the shop for the complete line up.

Fetish Cheapies

A couple of nice inexpensive bits of fetishwear fiendishly priced to get you in the store tonight ;)

We showed you the lovely Tiffany ankle boots by Karu Karu a long while back.

We also showed them to you when they were sold by someone else, but that’s the nature of bought sculpts.

Chane is now selling Tiffany in Ruby - matching her signature color - at 99L$ instead of the regular 249. That won’t last long, so don’t wait if you want them :)

PoC also has a good cheapie but that one’s a group gift : the Tessa sheer set, in Amber color, for the low price of 69L$

So do visit those fine fetish establishments, and if your eye is caught by something else and impulse buying happens, these little gifts did their job ;)

Lady Anne’s Latex Emporium - Mistress’ Heart Version 1 and 2

Our dear Anne is a productive one, packaging outfit after inexpensive outfit assembled from decent parts.

I’m wearing Mistress’ Heart (model 1, but that’s me saying that) mk3. Anne improved it with a great jacket layer corset - wear alone for a good sleeveless look.

You complete the look with an O ring harness in front on a latex top with attached corset on the shirt layer, with zips and rivets on the sleeves.

The included paddle has a great spank animation and sound, and a good old ZHAO is included for a sexy walk. Thick soled booties with heart cutout make this a full outfit.

The stockings and boots suffer a bit from black on black, but this doesn’t seem to bother a lot of people in SL.

So if you want a nice domme look from the queen of rock-bottom price fetishwear, look no further :)

I’m wearing the colorful Mistress’ Heart 2, by Lady Anne tonight, which comes with a paddle and anti-slip leash holder, but don’t worry not switching. *winks*

As usual the outfit is a collection of all kinds of gear, selected and packaged by Anne, to make a lovely ready to wear costume.

What you see is what you get, just add shape and skin and you are ready to go.

Next to the already mentioned leash holder and paddle, you get a corset, garters, stockings and gloves in red and black with heart shaped cut-outs.

You’ll also get a transparent red catsuit with hood, which fills in all the heart shaped cut outs, giving them the right color.

There is also a lovely red ponytail included in the set, which can be completed with a tattoo layer hair that gives you that dominant looking hairdo.

Last but far from least are the included boots, which in themselve are worth the price of the kit.

They come in the 5 sizes and run a bit large, i’m wearing the medium here and i got pony legs. *smiles*

All in all a lovely set and if hearts aren’t to your taste, the hair and the boots are well worth the price of the entire set.

Tokyo Girl - Asia Ne Ballet Shoes

Deirdre:

A snooped stiletto boot led us to Tokyo Girl, and lelo’s radar kicked in ;) Presenting the Asia Ne Ballet Shoes by Tokyo Girl.

While the standard solid colors are represented, the worn ballet slipper look grabbed my sweetie by the heart.

This is a lovely example of ballet shoe, looking quite authentic as you imagine a pair of well worn shoes would look after long use. The shiny black or leather textured version will suit a fetish outfit better, but this version has a lot of character.

The Tokyo Girl store is really gorgeous, sitting at water level on a Zen-tranquility-poster sim. High ceilings, great lighting, no clutter, just enough building detail… I loved it on sight.

That said, there is no adult content in the store. Anything adult themed (including the ballets) is on Marketplace - telling you here so you don’t go insane searching ;)

Stop the presses, we managed to find new shoes and not just normal shoes but ballets… and even better, ballets not yet in our collection. *smiles*

The Tokyo Girl ballets come in 9 versions, from black and white latex to rope.. we went for these as i loved the well used look of them, with me living in my ballets, all of them should by now look like this.

In the box you will find the two ballets, a shoe base and a tightly cropped alpha, this one even shows a good part of your socks.

A script lets you resize the shoes for a perfect fit. You have a scale version or you can stretch the boots along the 3 axes. Note that you have to resize both boots separately.

The shoes have an AO that makes them point in the right direction, no matter what pose you use, so no broken ankles in these.

Finally the shoes have Lockmeister chain points, just in case you want to chain them to a wall or in some other lovely contraption.

Still here?? Did i mention they are dirt cheap….. *winks*

Sinha Hynes - Hawk Hood

Deirdre:

We were sitting at Domme a Domme and noticed a lovely ponygirl, all in white with lots of Rosal corsetry, a striking head harness.. and a lovely open-face hood matching the rest perfectly.

The hood turned out to be the Hawk Hood, created by Aleda Koba, and scripted and sold by Sinha Hynes.

Aleda happened to be on, so I gave her a call and we chatted a bit. Turns out she reads us, “when she remembers” ;) Seriously, it’s nice that we’re starting to be known - it does make the calls easier.

Sinha sells the hood and the revenue supports Stones n Rubber, an important fetish sim, so we’ll call the slightly high price a donation to keep things running.

The hood is definitely meant to be worn with head harnesses: the vendor pic shows a Maison Broceliande harness, and Beauty was wearing a Mesmerize Dungeon head harness when we saw her.

My impression was that the Rosal collar, Hawk Hood and harness were made for each other. The official Deirdre Mix And Match Award goes to Beauty!

A lovely bit of sculpted mesh tonight, coming from Stone N Rubber one of the few remaining hard core pony sims in SL.

The fit is pretty good and the hood is easy to adjust, using the normal SL editing tools, with a small alpha hiding the ears, i’m sure prince Charles would love to have one of those. *winks*

When you wear the hood it gives you a HUD to wear, RLV users won’t even notice this step, that will block your view according to the level set by the hood.

Clicking the hood gives you access to a clean looking menu that offers you 4 steps of opacity, from transparent to full blind.

A control button lets you check for updates, lock the hood and check if the HUD is worn, the owner button is pretty much self explanatory.

Finally there is the color button, which lets you color the hood in 68 different colors all with a nice latexy shine.

So get over to Stone N Rubber and get your own and while you are there give the sim a look it a great lovely place, with some kinky play on offer.

Darkadia - New And Improved Again!

We hadn’t dropped by Darkadia in a long time. Story of our life, it sometimes seems.

While having a peek at the Latex Web store the other day, lelo and I were seriously impressed by the new look of the place, so we decided to snap a few pics and share them with you.

First one is from the landing zone, and you get a peek at the central social area and the tall lanterns above it. This is the place to sit and enjoy pole dances or fairly kinky bondage mats on the center stage.

Water is omnipresent on Darkadia, and the bridge of gates leading to the store is a strong reminder.

We’ve featured some beautiful designs from here, and we’re looking forward to seeing what new creations emerge from Mariko’s fertile mind. You know, aside from the sim ;)

If the Michael Manning-inspired imagery is not enough to draw you to Darkadia, the sim-wide ponycart track might.

It’s high enough above the land to make a cart ride a real visual treat. Invisible walls assist nervous ponies, so don’t worry about falling.

Do visit Darkadia, and if you peek around with a little determination, you should find the hidden play spaces - and have fun. :)

X-DollZ - Maid Fetish Outfit

Introducing X-DollZ, first : Fyre Furse’s new store, with her partner Sugar Falta. Both ladies have their own thriving businesses, and X-DollZ is their collaboration line.

This dress is simply called Maid Fetish Outfit, and it’s an excellent mesh dress with apron.

Lelo’s wearing the black with pink trim here. There's also a black with red trim, a black with white trim, and a black with white apron for a more classic look.

The mesh looks great, the folds are well made and plausible, and the texture suggests satin rather than latex.

The price is quite reasonable per dress, but as the store is fairly new, there’s no fat pack yet. Maybe the multi-color version will be colorable, à la DeVicious.

Chair hoppers should definitely drop by X-DollZ’s beautiful store, and try the (twenty!) lucky chairs in the back yard.

In the box you’ll find the dress in 2 versions and the 5 standard sizes, i’m wearing the L with my mesh dress boobies, nothing new there.

Ohh and in case you were wondering, there is a PG, shown in the frontal picture and a mature version, leaving the breasts exposed, shown in the second picture, did i make you look? *winks*

Only other thing next to the two alphas for the dresses is a nice little colormatched headband, which could use a resizer, but we all had problems with head wear and big hair.

So get over to the shop, check out the lucky chairs, get your favorite color and start cleaning...

Technical Difficulties - Take Two

Lelo's estimable Internet company does maintenance at night, when sensible people are sleeping and not on Second Life, talking to their Mistress because of a six-hour time zone difference.

So while I'm a big fan of going zig when everyone goes zag, this is one of the dangers.

Twisted Orchid Anniversary This Weekend!

We gave you the schedule for the Twisted Orchid events leading to this weekend last Friday.

As a reminder, the (ongoing, silent) auction ends Sunday at 1PM.

The auction board is at Orchid, at the right rear of the stage, and some bids are already pretty high.

PsiCorp - Wildgasmask JG1

Another Wild gasmask from PsiCorp, this is the JG1, or jackal gasmask. Wear this one and you can do a fair Anubis cosplay ;)

The ears on this one will make you really tall. I took a 3/4 picture of lelo so you’d get an idea of the proportions… remember, she’s not short.

Second pic is without the rear part of the mask, and eyes transparent so you can see what’s going on.

There are tons of coloring options in the Big Pack box for this mask; you’ll be able to match pretty much anything you want to wear with it. There are also plainer versions: classic egyptian, or all black.

Remember, you can get the RL version - why not wear that while you wear your SL version? :)

The second instalment of the PsiCorp gasmasks, again an animal themed mask, but the JG1 is one big gasmask, no hiding this one. *winks*

The JG1 comes in 4 versions with 4 option for each version, there is the standard black version, the Egypt in black and white and the electric EL version.

The Egypt version gives you a great Anubis look, which should also work if you want to play on a Stargate sim.

Each version can be worn as a full hood or with straps and the hoses with the filter are optional as well.

Clicking and holding the mouse on the mask opens the menu, which gives you control over the color, shine and opacity of the eye lenses and you can turn off the breathing vapours here as well.

Amazingly well sculpted mask that should turn some heads when worn, just ignore the private parts when you go and get the mask… *smiles*

Hyperion Creations - Dollarbies

We ran into our friend Rikki Scarmon at Domme a Domme, and I noticed she was wearing some lovely shoes by Hyperion Creations.

I won’t say money changed hands (cause none did) but a landmark was shared and we dropped by Gaelle’s little store.

The dollarbies at the entrance caught my eye, so instead of telling you about Rikki’s shoes I’ll mention those. Simply join the VIP group and you can get them for a Linden dollar a pair.

We were lucky enough to run into Gaelle tonight, and said hello. She recently released a couple of fun texture packs for her platform sandals (“Sharon”) - definitely have a look at those while you’re there

Forum and Sala Closing

Our friend Mel Melville is a founding mother of pony play in SL.

She told us last night that Forum and Sala, old and respected BDSM support and pony SIMs, are closing pretty much immediately: Forum Sim closes February 12th, Forum Fields closes February 14th, and Sala closes March 9th

We featured them in 2009, and while we were not regulars, we were aware of the place as a serious adult resource area.

Much as we may be aware of the impermanence of virtual lands, we’re still often harshly reminded that things change and people move on.

Here’s their note:

Opened on May 2nd 2006 we have seen thousands of people through the place and have had an amazing time. We have seen members get together and fall apart. We have tried to be a home for the wicked and a place where people can learn and find friends and people of like interest.. Thank you one and all for a great time and all your help. Forum remain till the lindens take it back. My account will remain but will be spending our time away from SL.

KDC - Classic Leather Posture Collar

Deirdre:

Kyrah’s blog was hinting that the Classic Leather Posture Collar was getting near, and sure enough, she released it this morning. I pounced and burned my fingers as it’s so hot off the press ;)

This is a staple of RL BDSM, and it is as powerful a symbol as you can get, so Kyrah gave it the full treatment.

Thick leather, big rivets, lockable roller buckle with metal-reinforced holes, riveted ring post - this collar screams “slave wear” loud and clear.

I took the liberty of snagging one of her pics, an “early normal mapping preview” because the shine  looks like someone lovingly applied several coats of mink oil to the leather :)

That said, Kyrah took pity on us poor late adopters and the collar’s texture looks absolutely stunning even in our tired old viewer.

I’ll quote Kyrah for a bit : “NOTE: this product uses a delivery box system and can be bought as a gift and distributed freely (no copy/transfer), it only becomes no copy/no transfer when the gift box is unpacked.”

You’re smart, you can take a hint ;)

Kyrah has been at it again and built us a brand new, exquisite leather posture collar, that looks good enough to eat.. or wear… *winks*

As before the collar does what a collar should do, it locks and secures your neck, putting you in a somewhat awkward posture, hence the name.

Some might not agree, but i love that in Kyrah’s designs, no RL collar can control your speech, you use a gag for that, and that’s Kyrah’s thinking as well, keeping the scripting clean.

The one thing you can also do with the collar is chain your wrist cuffs to it, using KDC’s TouchBound system: touch the side of the collar you want to chain to and touch the cuff next and you are bound.

Simple and elegant, just like the included color HUD that gives you a choice of 8 colors for the outside, stitching, inside and border of the collar.

The metal items on the collar, like the big ring on the front, get a choice of 7 metallic colors.

So go get it, i know you want to add this to your KDC collection… *smiles*

DeVicious - Leather Infinity and Party of the Year

It’s been simply *ages* since we featured some DeVicious, so here’s a pair of dresses from her Spring line - we received a preview box called Materials Collection (excerpt).

What that means in practical terms is, those dresses will be available soon. Steph is always working hard, but there’s a large collection to update to materials. Sorry for the tease ;)

I’m wearing Leather Infinity, a sleek and simple little number without cutouts; the textures are interesting enough without any help.

As usual with DeVicious, the box contains 40 dresses: four textures (Plain Leather, Denim & Leather, Quilted Leather, and Distressed Leather) in ten colors each.

Five standard sizes on top of that, it goes without saying. Keen-eyed readers will have spotted that I’m wearing the Quilted version, which looks quite nice even without the new stuff.

As this is materials enabled, you’ll want to wear the right version of the dress to apply the texture on. I have to say, I’m really starting to look forward to the Firestorm materials release!

Time for some mesh dresses tonight and mesh dresses means DeVicious, don’t think that anyone can beat Steph when it comes to mesh dresses.

I’m wearing Party of the Year, which is a lovely little number with fun accents hanging off the shoulder, giving it a sexy festive look.

The dress comes in 5 sizes, of which i wear the M, with my mesh dress body, life is hard. *winks*

Per size you get 3 options, the normal version i am wearing here and two for materials, leather and shiny, yes i know, we still didn’t switch to the beta.

As usual you’ll get some free boots with the dress, in this case the Vega boots we have featured before, they come in black and white, with and without materials.

Jaqueline - Servant Claire

Jaqueline is still around - boy, is she ever.

Tonight’s outfit, Servant Claire, is a classy little maid uniform with tons of good options, but I thought hey, we haven’t stopped by the main store in ages.

It has grown to three quarters of a SIM, on two floors - full of good content, too - with sections like Adult Area, Heels & Boots, Sex Beds, Casual Clothes, Medievals, Latex and Vinyl, Men’s Wear and Leatherwear.. set a bit of time aside if you want to see it all, it’s a long walk  ;)

Servant Claire (I’d say maid, but Claire does things Employment Canada doesn’t really list in the job description) is an outfit and a full set of RLV commands and accessories, making the price quite reasonable.

Lelo gives an excellent description as usual - I'll just point out that the included payable stripping HUD is meant to be rezzed on the ground for your patrons to see.

Ok, this one isn’t hot off the presses but still it’s a fun bit of kit and like Jaqueline puts it, a roleplay kit.

You will find, a sexy maid's costume in two versions, a corset you can add to it, two kinds of skirts, sleeves, gloves, collar, cap…

Lots and lots of options there, but you’ll also find a lovely little serving tray and a stripper pole, no maid should be without one. *winks*

There is also a fun stripping script that makes it possible to let someone else remove your bra and skirt, she even offers the option to set it up that you have to be paid through the script before you strip.

The included shoes give away that this is an older outfit and i’m sure you’ll have something better in your closet instead of Jaqueline’s.

This is a fun kit, which should give you hours of role playing fun, though it could do with a bit of an update.

AtaMe - Wild Side

Deirdre:

A new release by AtaMe tonight, this is Wild Side, a cool mesh pants and tunic outfit.

The tunic central piece is a kind of “modern primitive” bone chest plate. The tunic falls below the waist in a style reminiscent of some slave silks.

The pants fit me well with the alpha, and they show some good folds in the mesh shape. The sizes are not the standard ones, I think, but they’re not unreasonable.

Wild Side is a little hard to see in black, but looks very good in red and pink.

The long pants will be a little tricky to adjust to boots but if you have some good shoes they’ll be fine.

If you want an outfit with a distinctive mix of modern and primitive, Wild Side is for you.

Some new latex from Milu at AtaMe tonight, and as usual Milu gives us her own special design.

This is a full mesh outfit, with all the greatness and downsides of mesh, please lindies get us the next step in mesh...please, pretty please…

In the folder you will find two alphas and the pants and tunic in 5 sizes each, i’m wearing a medium in both case.

The real fans might notice that the girls aren’t sticking out as they usually do, as i’m wearing my mesh dress sized ones.

For now there are no appliers for this or any of Milu’s outfits, lets hope she’ll get around to that, for you big chested ladies. *smiles*
