Purrfect 10 - Persephone Boots Patent

Is it a boot with bits missing, or a sandal with extras? Well Ten says it’s a boot, so that’s good enough for me.

Persephone is a very good-looking open-toe, open-back boot with lots of straps and buckles.

It comes in two interesting sizes, based on your leg muscle size (you’ll see that in Appearance). Mine is 56, so the size 60 version fits me pretty much like a glove.

The boot texture is excellent, with good plausible shine and bright colors. The texture change script is really fun.

I’m wearing the Magenta Persephone here (with the nice old Deamon outfit by Hugo’s) so the secondary color is black : I can change the boot itself to black while keeping the straps pink, and all the permutations.

Trim, sole, heels can all be changed.. down to the toenails. Persephone boots are available in black, chocolate, cream, crimson, lilac, magenta, rosedust, salmonrose, slate and white.

The skin color picker very cleverly uses SL’s own color picker on a sphere that gets rezzed in front of you. Match to your own, apply. Presto.

A very good value for the price, even though this is not an inexpensive boot. Support good boot designers so they don’t starve and go make furniture ;)

Now Purrfect 10 is more of a fashion store, but every boot with heels like that and this many buckles can only be a fetish boot.

BarePeds - Black CFM Boots

BarePeds is a cool little store. It’s very clean, and is laid out like a little mall.

The Black CFM Boots are low prim, low script, low fuss fetish boots. The Small fit me out of the box with the slightest adjustment.

Killer heels, excellent texture, three sizes in the box (to avoid resizer scripts), with both invisiprims and alphas - Qeux says himself that he is “steadfast in my want for 1.23.5” viewer. I approve :)

Aside from being gorgeous, they are so easy to wear that I’ll recommend them to any new resident.. you’ll have time to learn to adjust prim clothes, believe me.

The back room holds discount items, but the real find for us was the CFM boot. The buckled version is fun too.. everyone loves buckles, right?

Another, for us, new designer added to our blog - the list is still growing.

We found these boots on the feet of a visitor to one of our favorite hang outs.

First thought was, just another pair of Bax boots, but a closer look revealed a brand new name.

The texturing is very good, just have a look at the stitching around the zipper on the back.

The prim work is also excellent, just have a look at the folds above the ankles, those are in the prim and not a texture effect.

So if you want a good alternative for Bax boots with a slightly more fetishy look, here’s what you’ve been waiting for.

Anima Temptation - Raffinata and Courtesan

Malls.. I don’t know what we’d do without malls.

They may seem like a necessary evil at best, especially if one near your favorite club seems to be a good source of lag (like, 500% your recommended daily allowance), but for finding cool new stuff at a glance, they can’t be beat.

We were visiting Freedom when lelo saw the Anima store.. well we hadn’t featured them in ages, so we went in, and lo! Cool new stuff ;)

The Raffinata shoe (or bootie, as you like) by Anima Temptation has a wicked stiletto heel and a tiny, fifties-fetish toebox. The ankle strap is another classic touch. Available colors are black, pink and red.

The shape of the shoe is really great. And one aspect I appreciate (as it’s getting rare!) is that both an alpha version for new viewers and a version with old school invisiprims are included.

So support your local mall - remember, it probably supports your local club ;)

We’ll start the week with a nice little double feature by Anima Temptation.

Mistress is wearing the Raffinata ankle boots, with heels that make them absolute fetish boots, that and not to mention the locking option on them.

I drew the short straw and ended up with the ballet shoes. *winks*

Which i absolutely love, Adira took the shape of pointe slippers and added the heels, that’s how they always should look.

Just look at the way the sole is bent under the toebox, just like the real thing.

The eyelet and red laces give the shoes some extra life and a good focus point.

The scripting is simple and easy to work with, offering you control over the walking sound, a good working resize option, three AO options and an extra corset function and finally you get access to a MoLock system.

Nothing fancy, but everything you need in an easy to understand menu system.

The help button which you will find on each menu page will take you to the MoDesign webpage, so no outdated notecards, now that’s great customer service.

VvB Stiletto Heels Equestrian - Xaara at Zexpo

Introducing the pony friendly riding boots by VvB, just look at the spurs, no nasty spikes there.

The 9 inch platform heels don’t make them very practical on the farm but the do look very good.

With the included HUD you get control of the metal colors and you can show/hide the belt and spurs.

As you might expect from a V4 boot, the reflections and prim work are impressive and the red sole is to die for.

When we tell you Xaara is busy, we’re not kidding.

This time, they’re at Zexpo, the Zindra festival. (It’s a cool adult event, four-sim wide. Definitely worth visiting.)

They’re not just setting up a shop with a few pictures and pony-booth-babes, though : an area is reserved for pony activities, with slalom racing posts and lots of green grass.

There’s also a cart rezzer, so you can take a ride in the streets of the expo in style.

MdC - Latex Longsleeved Catsuit

The Latex Longsleeved Catsuit by MdC is a nice, inexpensive basic catsuit with deep cleavage and good reflections.

There’s a bit of black on black effect, but short of making your blacks grey, it’s difficult to avoid.

The vendor pic has apparently been lightly photoshopped to show the excellent details, but our pics are shot with bright lights and mid-day light setting - it ain’t getting much brighter than that without extraordinary measures, let’s say.

The cleavage is deep and daring.. you should turn a few heads with this outfit :)

Another fun Pet tip: Sian Pearl is a blogger and a really creative dresser. This post on her blog shows how she mixed and matched (an admittedly large number of) Graves outfits into some unique combinations. Ok back to basics tonight, the fundamental black catsuit, this time by MdC.

In the package you get 4 parts, jacket, pants, shirt and underpants.

Where the tops match, the underpants are a shorter version of the pants.

The zipper on the back is well made and stops just above the tush.

In the front you get a nice cleavage making this more a party catsuit than a strictly fetish one.

Bondage bunnies will notice the lack of gloves and a high collar, so this one will work better with some good heels to party the night away.

So if you want to become one of Charlie's girls, you better get this one double quick.

PixelFashion - Bombast Bicolor

The Bombast Bicolor boots by Pixelfashion are available in a wide range of interesting textures.

Aside from the plain (so to speak) Bicolor I’m wearing here, there are versions with snake print, zebra and leopard.

There’s also a related model with a large number of spikes at the rear - when I say large, I mean I couldn’t rez the demo boot on our parcel ;)

The Bicolor, then, have six leather textures with a leather colored front and black rear, and three sole colors. The basic model has an alpha invisible for v2, but includes a box with v1.23 boots with invisiprims.

The boots arrive in a small, medium, and large versions. Combined with the included resize script, it took me moments to get these fitted.

The shape is beautiful - it’s that very much in-fashion-right-now hidden platform design, combined with a classic stiletto heel.

I reminded Amandine that we very much liked her PVC dress, and she promised to keep us posted... and we’ll pass the ball with webex - um, Blogger ;)

Latex Station - Amber Snake and Lucciana

Those fun summery outfits are new releases from Latex Station: I’m wearing Amber Snake, and lelo is modeling the Lucciana dress.

Amber Snake comes with bright red underwear that stand out vividly against the snake print and black latex pants.

Call me old fashioned but I’m with Dennis Leary on the subject of underwear ;)

The low cut top makes me think of the beach.. it should get you noticed on sultry dance floors, too.

There is a lovely prim skirt of the kind i just love to wear, featuring a lovely looking lace underskirt.

You also get a belt and a nice bow to enhance the skirt, for now the bow only works in the double attachment viewers, but Cindy promised us she would look into it.

I’m glad you don’t need double sided tape in SL to keep the puppies in, you would need miles of sticky tape in RL. *winks*

Always gives me a lovely summer feeling, walking in a pair of nice heels and the wind under your flowing skirt.

XTC Leather - BlackOut

I’m addicted to XTC.. If I don’t get a catsuit now and then, I feel withdrawal symptoms ;)

Well Xav was kind enough to give me my fix for the week, a sleek catsuit called BlackOut.

This is a catsuit with some fun accents : the front and side lacing don’t only look good, they’re pretty authentic.

See this reproduction of the 60’s AtomAge design by Zoom Bizarre (Sadly, a company which has had some serious difficulties for some years - don’t order there.)

Lacings on the hips prevent the heartbreak of “closet shrinkage” in real life - no danger in SL, fortunately.

I like the variety of different tops, showing more or less cleavage, as you choose that day.

The pants are straight forward with an inserted stretchy panel on the side that is continued on the tops.

Pony Places: Sala - New and improved

We heard from our friend Mel Melville that Cheryl Umarov was now at Sala, and that the place was undergoing some serious improvement.

We visited a couple of years ago, and I can say I don’t remember the pony area being this impressive.

While I haven’t (yet!) talked Mel into a permanent position on the Pony Correspondent staff, I’m not foolish enough to ignore her tips.

We visited Sala together, and it was really neat to share the exploration with a confirmed expert.

Examining the barn and finding water troughs, an excellent library, and just the most detailed work we’ve ever seen was a pleasant surprise.

The pretty pony in pink here is Swenyia Chuwen, she's an innocent bystander and the victim of a drive-by snap ;)

The steeple courses are covered in grass, almost obscuring the obstacles.. I love it!

I caught up with Cheryl today and asked a bit about the new developments.

She definitely intends to get things rolling at Sala. An event just today drew a nice big crowd, and we hear it was fun and quite a hot contest.

A lush environment, lots of play areas, and the most awesome inclined cart paths to cross between sims.. the new improved Sala is worth a visit!

Edelweiss - Marchen

Edelweiss seems to be the must-have for the maid set : the store is fairly devoted to maid and related outfits.

Just add cat ears and you can work in any café in Japan, judging by animés ;)

I like the wide variety of colors available for this outfit. Victorian England was big on dark colors, but there’s room for a little pastel in Second Life.

The price is really low for such good work, either singly or in the fatpack.

When you visit the store, make sure to detour by the ground and see the extraordinary Mont Saint-Michel abbey. I’m not a big tourist but I was blown away by the sheer size of the thing, as well as the level of detail.

Third maids uniform this week, a more romantic option by Edelweiss.

Again a great combination of cloth and prim items, including shoes for a change.

This is also the first one this week with a prim skirt and “real” petticoats, the apron is part of the skirt so no need to adjust it to the skirt.

Seems Moeka makes her uniforms for the more utilitarian maids of SL, the outfit even comes with underpants, talk about utilitarian. *winks*

The shoes are made for housework and can’t be called very sexy, but fit the outfit great.

It comes in 10 colors or you can get the fatpack which contains the extra white version and saves you 400 ls.

This one has a little girls feel to it so you better watch your AV height or you might be banned from some sims.

Ashpodele - Maids Kit and Bartender

A fun set of freebie toys from Ashpodele, the Maid’s Kit will keep your maid gainfully occupied - idle hands are the devil’s worshop, don’t you know.

And if you host a party, you can use the additional help serving drinks with the Bartender (well, barmaid, strictly speaking).

The Bartender is not free but it is pretty cheap at 50L$

Ok so you got your maid dressed, now it’s time to put her to work.

The Maid's kit contains a sponge, rag, feather duster and broom for your maid, spiderwebs, dust, dirt and water for your home and a little control vase for the owner.

The system is quite simple, you put the spiderwebs, dust and dirt around your home, they are copy so you can fill up your home till you run out of prim space.

With the little vase you can control the speed with which the dust and dirt gathers.

Now let loose your maid and let her keep your home clean and tidy, she will need to change her tools to fit the job.

The system works best in RLV when you restrict the touch distance so the maid really has to get up close and personal with the gathering dust.

To make it look even better turn off the maid's selection beam for that extra sense of reality.

This should keep your maid busy and active and above all out of trouble while you are busy, a great alternative to a cage.

The Bartender is another way to keep your maid busy, especially when you are entertaining guests.

Just let your maid serve drinks to your guests, the bartender offers a whole host of different drinks to keep your guests happy.

And now for the best news, the maid's kit is totally free. *smiles*

Latex Web Inc. - Latex Maid

After the strictly utilitarian uniform of KDC, here’s a naughty rubber maid, Latex Web style.

The inflatable ball hands are more suited to bondage bunnies than domestic help; same with the transparent catsuit exposing the breasts.

You get a choice of a skirt with a cloth apron and a prim bow, or you can wear the full prim apron : both leave the tush exposed so you can easily motivate a lazy maid.

A nice garter belt connects to the lace-up padlocked ballet boots... This is a lovely upstairs maid outfit.

Ok here’s maid number 2 and this is quite a sexy version, as you might expect from Latex Web Inc.

The clothing offers you some nice mix and match options, like a transparent catsuit, long gloves, a corset, garter belt and some good looking bed boots, all in shiny latex.

Where the kanzashi makes it easy to hang your laundry, the slave mitts don’t help when trying to do your cleaning.

In case you don’t go for that Japanese look, you can wear a lovely little hair ribbon instead of the hair sticks.

The included ballets are of a simple but fun design and are RLV lockable just like the mitts, that’s the way to keep your maid on her toes.

Ohh.. don’t any maids wear undies? This time the included underpants are transparent, go figure...

KDC - Kokoro Maids Uniform

Lelo had a fun idea for this week : a special on maid uniforms.

It led to some interesting shopping and we met some neat people along the way; I think this is not a bad way to discover Second Life.

Lelo will do most of the describing and details, so let me start with Bound Maid Manor, which we found in our travels.

The Manor offers a 10-level training program for maids, including lots of RLV bondage and servitude. Detailed notecards explain the duties and rules applying to maids who join.

This is no naughty-maid sex play; the uniforms are expected to cover everything at all times.

Which brings me to KDC’s Kokoro. Any less naughty than that and you have to start thinking about nuns habits and burlap ;)

It’s a classic and I see no reason it can’t be around for many years to come.

Hit Bound Maid Manor in your KDC and start cleaning!

To kick off our maids week, an oldie but goodie.

I think this uniform has been around longer then most of us, but in my humble opinion it’s still one of the best in SL.

It’s a good combination of cloth layer and prim clothing, and one of the few where the SL skirt works, giving the feel of loads of petticoats.

Just love the way the prim parts bring the skirt to life, especially the splash of red from the bow makes this one pop.

There are two caps included so that they don’t interfere with your hair, very smart and considerate.

Take some time to adjust the prims to your AV. Kyrah builds to Japanese sizes, so it took me a few minutes to get everything to fit just right, but it was worth it.

Just add some good shoes and you can start your dusting.

Ohh one little tip, there is no underwear included and the skirt leaves quite a bit of peeking room, so better beware.

Kcreations - Knee Length Pony Boots

A lovely pair of knee-length pony boots this week by Kcreations, featuring some awesome leather textures.

Like Kat's older pony boot which we featured last year, this is a lovely, detailed piece of craftsmanship (craftswomanship?) that will complete the look for any pony.

There is an ankle version (not shown here) with straps instead of laces, but sporting the same excellent leather textures and seams.

Horseshoes underneath the foot will tell anyone watching that you’re serious about your passion :)

Like we told you in our last post about Kcreations, Kat’s been busy again.

Next to her lovely catsuit she has been working on her ponyboots.

She added a great leather texture to the line as well as these new knee-high boots.

As before, you can change the color of the laces, metal, sole and boot.

These boots offer more colors than most fashion shoes (28!), so you could wear them with your favorite summer dress and color match, i’m sure you would turn some heads with it though.

For the soles you can select a leather, carbon fiber or plain texture, next to the color that is, personally i’m a fan of the CF.

You also get a RLV lock function on the boots, though i can’t imagine why you would want to take off these boots... ohh wait you would want to change into ballets of course, silly lelo.

VvB Stilletto Heels - 15" Platform Knee Boots

Forget those demure 6” heels and business casual 9”... (well, ok, *very* casual) it’s time for serious height increase tonight.

Introducing VvB’s 15” Platform Knee Boots. These extreme beauties are available in black, red, pink and white.

These platforms are so high the maximum height SL offers for heels, you know those shoe bases you always have to wear with your prim shoes, only shows half of them as they sink into the ground.

If you want to see the full 15” you should check if you have a avatar position modifier in your viewer.

I use Phoenix and there you can adjust it in Preferences/Phoenix/Avatar.

The HUD gives you control over your lace, metal and trim colors and as usual the sizing of the boots.

Viktoria, Mistress nor me can be held accountable for any broken bones or brused ego’s resulting from wearing these skyscrapers.

XTC Leather - KillSwitch

I called Xaviar to show him our DeVicious post.. a leather designer has to love bike babes, right? We had a nice chat, and he sent me the KillSwitch oufit for review.

I was about to thank him, when he sent me four more KillSwitch tops :)

The colors are so nice that I had lelo cloned to show all of them off at once. Now I need a four-pony cart! ;)

The long pants have a more subdued shine than other XTC pants we’ve seen, but they do look good.

One thing I certainly won’t miss when I switch to to a v2 viewer is the way invisiprims chew up pant bottoms.

What’s that? Wear more hotpants in the meantime?

KillSwitch is the beginning of a new clothing system by Xaviar at XTC Leather.

In the base set you get leather pants, shorts and a bikini bottom and also the golden top.

All the other tops can be bought and added to the outfit so you can make the outfit you like.

Now this is what i would call recycling the SL way, not that there is a real need for recycling pixels but it’s the thought that counts. *winks*

As you might expect from XTC Leather the texture is very good and all three bottoms work great with the tops.

You decide how much leg you want to show.... *smiles*

Night Wish Toys - Funky Groove Cage

When I saw this toy advertised on the Fetish Consolidated group, I thought, “Ah, we should give that a look sometime”.

Then our friend Pet forwarded me the same note, and I thought, wait.. a rec by Pet is usually worth checking out. Well, it sure was!

Some things are so obvious in retrospective that once you see them you think, hey, that’s so cool someone should have made this ages ago.

The Funky Groove Cage is a dance cage, suitable for any sixties go-go club.. and it’s also a RLV bondage toy. What’s not to love?

It’s a brand new design - Talia and Kaylee created it just two weeks ago. Expect lots of improvements as people throw great ideas at them.

Talia was kind enough to say that my own suggestion of adding a spin option was good - sometimes we just report the news, but sometimes we make it ;)

You can easily add your own dances in the cage by dropping them in and editing a simple notecard.

As you see on the second picture, a cool "shroud" mode partially obscures the dancer for that psychedelic sixties effect.

I think we'll be seeing those neat toys in clubs everywhere pretty soon.

This is a must have for all the BDSM clubs in SL, and a tipping option should be available pretty soon.

As it is now it has a few great RLV options and including a capture mode so you shouldn’t have any problems “hiring” dancers for your club.

The cage is loaded with a few sexy dances and the usual RLV controls, were the strip option even comes with a quick button. *winks*

The victi.. ehh dancer has no control over the cage whatsoever and can be timer looked.

So if you have a big 60’s living room or a club this would be a great addition.
