SL10B and SLB10A are coming fast!

As you know, we’ll be taking a keen interest in the SL anniversary celebrations. 10 years is an awesome milestone!

First, I’ll hit you with the dates. If you have any sort of interest in this yourself you probably know them, but it occurred to me today how little time there really was to see everything.

SL10B: The official community celebration, is from Sunday June 16th to Saturday June 29th.

With 20 sims full of exhibits, if you intend to see any appreciable fraction of them, you’ll need to plan your time.

SLB10A: The adult celebration is smaller and starts a bit later: Friday June 21st to Saturday June 29th. On the plus side, you’ll have time to see everything!

We’ll keep this post short - I don’t want to make your head spin! - but I’ll thank Gemma Cleanslate (here’s her own blog) for being so astonishingly helpful. It may not be the very first published, but here’s our own snap of the SL10B map!

I am sworn to secrecy but I’ll just point to the big, big, big thing in the middle and say one word.

aYe - Sexcellent Service Tray

Deirdre:

Jenniferever sent us the Sexcellent Service Tray a while back, and confirmed to us that she was putting it up for sale at her store today.

The tray is an old project of hers, that she wanted to get just right before releasing. In fact, look for improvements in upcoming versions.

This is a very clever tray, and someone circulating with it at a party should be pretty popular.

It serves drinks, snacks, even smokes. The tray itself sits on a padded metal bondage belt - one of the improvements Jen was telling me about will be a resize option.

Our second picture is from above, to show the tray worn properly - don’t worry, lelo isn’t ruthed.

A fun, inexpensive toy definitely worth keeping an eye on.. we'll keep you posted!

A fun little toy tonight, made by jennifer from aYe - Creations and Design, something every maid in sl should own, a serving tray.

The tray is made that is locks around your waist, leaving your arms free to serve or be put in an armbinder. *smiles*

For now the belt is one size only, but Jennifer promises that a resizable update will be available in the near future, till that time better hold in your breath. *winks*

The rest of the tray works very simple, touch the tray and you get a menu of items you can select, the wearer can hand them out or the guests can pick them up themselves.

A few maids with these trays serving during a party should really spice up a party and be a good way for a maid to make herself useful.

Latex Station - Dolce Latex Suit

The bustier and garter belt combo on the pants and shirt layer is the heart of this outfit.

A thong on the underwear layer, a bra on shirt or jacket, gloves and you’re there.

Note that the stockings end at the ankle, so you’ll want to wear boots or make a bold fashion statement with shoes.

This is a fun little outfit, but you’ll want to set a bit of time aside to manage your layers.

SLB10 A(dult!) - Adult Hub Will Celebrate Too

While SL10B will not have adult content, they will definitely point to adult celebration sites; I think that’s cool, and a decent way to handle things - we’ve been posting in a PG manner about adult content since the start of this blog, so I definitely understand the position of the SL10B organizers.

We heard today from Serjourn Daxter, the prime mover at the Freedom Continent: she’s setting a sim aside for adult content exhibitors, so if you would like to be an exhibitionist, give her or Lexi Lock a call to reserve a parcel.

KDC - Knee High Pony Boots

A new release from KDC - the new Knee High Pony Boots came out yesterday so I’d say this qualifies as “hot off the press”.

The KDC pony boots have a classic shape, with a very slight arch; a pony would be mostly on her toes. That’s not a bad thing; you *should* keep your pony on her toes ;)

The front lacing is not common on pony boots, but adds realistic detail, like the inside zippers.

The metal horseshoes are shiny but not chrome. A cool rear-support bit sticks out behind the hoof and makes standing in these boots more plausible-looking.

Have a look at Kyrah’s blog to see the development process she went through; I for one have a better appreciation of the amount of work that goes into our beloved fetish items since reading those posts.

Woohoo a new release from Kyrah at KDC and she’s back at making pony gear. *smiles*

The pony boots are a beautiful mesh construct and can be fully stretched into shape.

I had to make them quite a bit taller, Kyrah is what you might call a bit petite compared to me.

The boots are copy so you know the drill; make backups before you start tinkering with them.

Clicking on the boots gives you access to the visual and sound settings of the boots.

There are 5 areas you can color: the horseshoe, the lace, the boot, the hoof and the heel.

Each area has their own textures, from leather for the boots to wood for the heel, and the textures are quite amazing.

Only thing you might want on these boots would be a locking option, but then a RLV relay should be able to take care of that.

Get them while they are hot, well i’m sure they will stay hot until Kyrah builds new ones, still run run run... *winks*

Towel Day 2013 is Tomorrow!

We observe all the important holidays here at SLFF, and Towel Day is coming up, so we wanted to remind you.

Kcreations - Leather Vest

We had Kat’s vest and I was thinking “Is it fetish enough, though?”. Then I decided, it’s awesome leather with a cool floppy collar. What’s not to love, really?

Kat will try to tell you this is a quickie job, but I say only compared to her usual months-long development process where she learns to launch spaceships around Mars so that the skirt folds look just right.

This mesh vest is a really inexpensive item for the quality, but when you visit Kat’s elegant little store, look for her lovely Dragon Mesh Dress, which she still sells at 10L$ (there are 12 versions - go nuts!)

The Fetish Spot is no more, but I’ll always remember the Dragon Dress warmly, as Kat just plunged and made it, a brand new item, when I suggested cheapies for promotion.

The textures are great up close, the shine is great from a distance. The floppy collar is totally in fashion right now, and I’m wearing the small size without an alpha - this is fast becoming my criterion for fit.

Alessandra - Latex Buckle Side Combo

We hadn’t heard from Alessandra in a long while, so it was good to get her call, saying she had a new fetish release.

Lady Annes Latex Emporium - Seductress And The IMP

Lady Anne is prolific; that’s the very least we can say about her. We literally are not keeping up with her new designs. I gave lelo notice that we need to step up the Lady Anne posts, so keep your eyes peeled for more soon.

Seductress in Red, the cool sexy outfit I’m modeling tonight, is a total steal at 99L$. (And she has a sister in black selling for the same price, just so you know.)

I’m wearing the whole kit: stockings, garters, panties, underbust corset, bra and gloves. I had fun swapping parts between the black and red outfits and seeing what would look good.

It’s a full outfit except for heels, but if you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time and managed not to buy any of the great boots we’ve shown you, you have pretty remarkable self-restraint.

So once again, Anne does what she excels at: inexpensive, good quality fetish basics. Go, mix, match, have fun ;)

First things first, don’t worry about the outfit i’m wearing, it might be a Domme edition but i’m still the good old, very sub, lelo, so no submitting to me, please. *winks*

The IMP is the newest collection outfit by Lady Anne’s Latex Emporium, Anne really has a great if maybe a bit twisted taste.

Still the folder overflows it all kind of goodies and it’s amazing what you get for just LS 199.

There are 18 items in the folder, including the rubber horns, rubber boobs, the platform boots, a crop and leash holder.

The great looking mask comes in tattoo layer, giving you a catsuit with some strategic white trimmed holes in it.

The other clothing layers cover up these holes making the outfit a bit more PG, but in case you want to go the other way she also includes a pair of photo realistic pussy pants.

We don’t show you the included gasmask as we think the hood with the horns give a more interesting look, still if you want the gasmask is there for you to add to the look.

So what’s not to like here, a lot of fun stuff and a complete rubber Domme look at a bargain price.. you still here? *smiles*

XTC Leather - Ruby Leather Catsuit

I don’t know what happened to Ruby - it fell in the cracks of my inventory, and we forgot to feature it when it came out.

A recent visit to XTC reminded me about it, as it’s right in the New area. So it’s not this-week new but it’s still awesome, better late than never, yada.

We shared a few Mord-Sith like costumes with you over the years but this is the real deal. Ox-blood red for me, and (non canon but pretty darn hot!) black for lelo.

The ornate belt is very well captured, and the folds and shine show that Xav is a real leather lover. He even adapted his excellent leather boots to Ruby, matching the deep blood red - they’re sold separately, but they're not expensive at all.

Ruby is on the pants and shirt layer, allowing you to wear a jacket if you feel the generous décolleté needs a bit of covering up.

Just because I like to spoil you rotten, here’s a large picture of the original character - and I mean “suitable for poster-printing” large, mmkay? You’re welcome ;)

Leather tonight, which usually means XTC and no exception this time, Xaviar is still the master of SL leather.

Ruby comes in two colors, the classic black, or noir as Xaviar calls it and in red or ruby.

As you might expect with a XTC outfit you’ll get the catsuit in top and pants layer, giving you room for underwear and a nice jacket.

The gloves are optional, but really finish the outfit, could be me but i feel naked without them. *smiles*

Another great basic outfit from XTC, you just need to add some boots - either Xav's or others - and you are set to roam the fetish side of SL, or go all out and make it the base of an amazing personalized look.

New AO Script From DEM

Chloe, of Dark Elf Magic, shared a bit of news with us this week, and while as she said it’s neither “shiny, exciting or fashionable”, it’s still pretty neat.

She created a replacement script for the standard ZHAO II animation override, using some “very new” LSL features, she told us.

Technical details went right over my blonde locks, but in theory the script should be way less laggy than the original.

DeVicious - Vanity And Intuition Dress

Good thing I wear leather gloves a lot - this one is so hot off the press I could have burned my fingers. If you want to see what I mean, check out the date on our third pic ;)

The dress in our first pic is Vanity, and the XS size fits me like a glove, no alpha needed. Three texture HUDs give 20 Mixed Fabrics (1 and 2) and 10 Leather Dresses; we’re wearing the latter here.

The leather texture is good up close, our full-body pictures don’t do it justice. The scrunchy boots are fun and give a great club look.

Intuition, the second dress, did require me to wear the alpha for a good fit. The gorgeous folds and stitching on the leather textures really make this one stand out.

The same scrunchy boots are included, and the folds stand out better in white.

It seems that Hardline, the first DeVicious outfit we featured in 2011, is one of the most-downloaded items on Marketplace - 118,000 times!

These are two of the newest mesh dresses from Steph at DeVicious, it’s hard to keep up with her.

Vanity comes with 5 boots in black, blue, pink, red and white, the Intuition sadly only gives you the black and white boots.

Once again it amazes me how she can include boots this good for free in the kit, other designers would charge you quite a bit of money for them.

The Vanity has an amazing fit, i did have to resize my girls a bit but it’s well worth it to wear this dress without the alpha layer.

One bit of warning, not wearing alpha means you’ll need some underwear, especially in SL with it’s cam freedom. *winks*

KG Creations - Human Office Chair

Another designer we didn’t know! We got a call from Linnrenate Crosby of Kinky Geek saying, here’s a toy, please let me know what you think, and don’t hold back.

We don’t have to hold anything back, Linn. The Human Office Chair is a fine little toy, and forniphilia is right up our alley.

Think Kink And Dark Elf Magic - Colorable Panel Gag

We swung by Think Kink, and by chance, both lelo and I noticed the bright pink gag poster on the wall.

It turned out to be new - although I won’t claim a magic database mind that whirred and instantly spotted the new item or anything. “New” vendor tags have been suggested ;)

The Colorable Panel Gag is a cooperation between Think Kink and Dark Elf Magic, and a bunch of good RLV features interact with TK toys (if you’re forbidden from talking on one, say).

The design is clean, and the thick straps, rivets, O rings and buckles make it look pretty solid.

It’s simple, there’s not a bit of mesh on it, and it still looks quite good.

One day everything will be mesh with materials and specular what-have-you’s, but in the meantime, this is a fine little toy. Pick one up for the bondage doll in your life :)

Toy time tonight, a lovely new gag from Think Kink, the look and scripting is loosely based on the good old Dari’s Haus gag.

But this gag has been improved on a couple of points, starting with the look, the gag sports 178 prims, making it look very realistic.

But as usual with the work of Nihal and Chloe the real work went into the scripting, which has been streamlined to lighten the server load.

You will find all the RLV gag goodies you would want, from the intensity of the garble, the replacement of the wearers name in chat to the owner settings.

One of the more unusual, but in my opinion fun, options is the “Wait for IM” setting, which only blocks your IM untill you are spoken too. Now that’s how it should be in a D/s relationship.

And we’ll close off with the fashionable bit, yes fashion will always be part of our work, the gag is colorable, there are 25 colors you can select and all parts of the gag can be colors at once or one by one.

So a great new twist on an old favorite, go get it and be quiet... *winks*

We showed you the opaque Gloss catsuit a few weeks back - here’s the new Trans Gloss suit.

It’s totally new, you saw it here first, and it’s going on sale as we speak because Mariko promised me a scoop :)

I’m wearing the seamed version, and as you’ll guess from our little hearts, it’s not for G rated areas.

The gloss is great, and the suit is transparent enough that my tan and lelo’s pink skin affect the resulting color. Play with skins to change outfits!

The tattoo layer includes hands and feet so I went barefoot for once to show off the footies.

You also get Lolas appliers for the open and closed catsuits, which have some extra glossy bits, almost hiding your naughty bits. *winks*

The gloss is very good and i was able to mimic it with the VvB shoes i’m wearing with it.

This is a great base for an even greater outfit, just add a corset, chastity, heels, head gear, collar... the usual stuff and you are set to turn some heads. *smiles*

SL10B Here We Come

You’ve started hearing the buzz. You know it’s under way, amazing people are already working on it as we speak, and the Web site is up: SL Community Celebration

Well, it is done; I sent in my application to volunteer as “Other: Press” this year, and so has lelo.

I had an amazing time covering SL9B, and I intend to do it again for SL10B.

A certain rubber doll asked whether this was really a fetish-related event. I said not in the least, but it’s a good point, worth sharing with our readers.

I believe that while we specialize on a certain topic, we have a level of professionalism sufficient to justify participating in a world-wide event.

We’re not mainstream, but fetish is a part of the world, as valid as any other.

So while I won’t be wearing gasmasks or capes while covering the event, I’ll hang on to my Leather Goddess tag :)

Slick - Carmella

We saw the Carmella outfit on one of our shopping jaunts, and filed it for future reference.

Well lelo’s traveling so you get a Deirdre solo pic post tonight because while my sweetie’s laptop can handle SL well enough, adjusting fancy bondage toys (how’s that for foreshadowing?) is best done at home ;)

Carmella’s a full outfit, from collar to stockings; you’ll just need to add footwear or try to look imperious in your cape and stockinged feet.

The underwear layer is a lovely smoky transparent latex catsuit, and while the top is quite decent, the bottom is perilously skimpy.

All I would suggest to designers who make outfits like this would be to include a decent version as well. Adult area or not, I wouldn’t wear this outfit in public - but that’s just me.

A shiny choker and a pair of delicate bondage bracelets are included, but the thing that caught my eye is the cape, of course. It’s very black and very shiny :) The rear collar and epaulets make it look a bit sci-fi-y, not a bad thing at all.

To sum up: a sexy, inexpensive outfit... with a cool cape.

As some of you might know Mistress has a thing for superheroines and capes especially.

So when she saw Carmella by Mika from Slick! there was nothing i could do to stop her from getting it.

It’s a lovely set that starts with a shiny transparent catsuit over which you can wear the black top, which vaguely reminds me of Vampirella.

But the thing that caught Mistresses eye must have been the cape, which looks great on her, but then like she always says, i would love her when she would wear a potato sack. *winks*

Ok, so this isn’t the latest outfit to hit SL, but it looks very shiny and sexy, and who doesn’t like that combination.

Kcreations - Maid Dress

Kat doesn’t believe in fancy names. But when you see "Kcreations Maid Dress", I think you shouldn’t suffer from any kind of confusion.

The release date is today - any hotter off the press and you’d burn your fingers putting it on!

Kat puts so much work into her designs.. do read her blog to get an appreciation. I’m always humbled when I read her and Dari’s things. “Oh, and there was this insanely complicated technical problem, but I worked on it for a month and it’s fixed now.”

The result looks amazing: you and I benefit from the efforts of obsessive-compulsive fetish geniuses :)

One thing you’ll notice (maybe you might have even without me telling you - I cheated and read it on Kat’s blog) is that the sleeves and apron have thickness; yet another cool detail (based on a technical feature) adding verisimilitude to our world.

We opened with the pink one, and had to show the classic black and white; but if those aren’t enough, Kat makes a Texture Developer’s Kit available for free. Someone make a polka-dot one for Pet! ;)

Some lovely meshiness tonight from Kat at Kcreations, she is really turning out gems in mesh lately and this maid's dress is no exception.

The dress comes in 5 sizes, i went for a S, which fits my body quite nicely, except for the two sticky out bits on my chest, but those don’t even fit inside the L.

Still the magic of alphas come to the rescue and make everything fit in. Though i’m sure some would like a bit more room upstairs.

Next to the 5 dresses, the alphas (which are also included as textures) and the maid’s cap, you will find a HUD.

This HUD gives you control over the colors in/on your dress, you can select 8 different parts, including the cap.

There are 32 preset colors and a tint picker lets you make any color you might ever need, good thing the dresses are copy.

Great looking mesh maids dress, no serious submissive should be without one like this, just add heels and a serving tray and you are set to serve... drinks. *winks*

Sinha Hynes - eXtreme Ball Hood

Inflation latex bondage toys are pretty out there. If vanilla people freak out and cry “gimp!” at the least little latex hood, you can well imagine the panic if they saw a pump-up ball hood.

Sinha’s toy is basic, but no less well-made for that. The pump bladder at the top sticks out a bit incongruously, but that’s how these things are made, I suppose.

The breathing tubes are at the top too, in case you wondered if you were going to need a new partner after five minutes of using this toy ;)

The hood inflates to a pretty large size. If you like attention, you won’t be disappointed.

lelo mentioned how inflation noises would add to the fun.. psht psht psht! We passed the suggestion to Sinha... time will tell.

Toy time tonight, with a simple, and in my world simple is good, ball hood by Sinha Hynes from Stones n Rubber stables.

The fitting of the hood is easy as it comes with an alpha for the head, should make a great costume for Hallowe'en, and the collar has an easy resizer.

The menu lets you quickly deflate the hood in case you can’t get through a door. *winks*

There is also the possibility to change the color of the hood and the collar, there are 67 colors you can select, that should keep the diva in you happy.

There is also the option to show/hide the bulb, making it impossible to inflate the hood.

Not quite a fashion accessory, but still a fun toy that should keep you happy for months.
