Hello Spacegirl - ilia Corset
Deirdre:
We saw SarahSofie wearing the Ilia corset at HB Club, and she was kind enough to give me the info - I’d usually say store landmark, but Hello Spacegirl is a Marketplace-only store.
We didn’t hear back from Laverne so no opinions on service - maybe she’s away for summer vacation.
This corset is really striking from up close. The waist shape is a realistic tightly-corseted one, while the loops give it a molded-plastic feel that is quite futuristic to my eye.
The prices are excellent, and a fatpack of both black and white gives a further discount.
A matching neck corset is available, and since our model pics are so great, I thought I’d stick in the neck corset pic to give you the complete picture ;)
Lovely, inexpensive, original designs. We might wish for an in-world presence, but that’s us.

When you buy the corset you get a shining button in your hand that you have to press to get the real thing.
In the box you get the corset in 5 sizes, L to XXS, i’m wearing the XS model here so beware when buying it, Lavern does include a note with the optimum settings for each version though.

Squeaky Kinks - Lovedoll

Squeaky Kinks was a reference from our Dolls group, appropriately named The Dolls. Thanks for the tip, Mera!
Lovedoll is a full mesh avatar, entirely created and scripted by Arinkum. She uses Blender, and from her explanations, it sounds less horribly complicated than I thought. One day I’ll break down and make something in mesh.
The huge breasts and pink color make this a great humiliation toy - put your hairy burly slave boy in Lovedoll for a while, and I’m sure he’ll be a lot more obedient in the future ;)

Tonight we have the ultimate Halloween costume and it comes with a lovely lovedoll avatar as well. *winks*
Ok kidding about the Halloween costume, though the full body alpha is pretty fun, this post is about the Squeaky Kinks Lovedoll, which is a full body mesh avatar.
You get two versions of the mesh body, with and without feet, so you can add the mandatory ballets with this outfit.
There is also an invisible control prim you wear around your waist that makes easy access to the menu possible.
With the menu you can set the owner or public use, lock the body, set speech and restrictions and finally adjust look of the doll.
You can change the color of the body, lips and holes and you can also hide those lovely dolls eyes. i wonder why though.
There are 4 levels of RLV restriction taking you more and more into isolation from the world.
There is also a chat relay included in the package, which of course only works in chat and when you are in RLV, but who of you isn’t. *winks*

DeVicious - Sunshine Island and Miami Fiesta

More mesh-y goodness from DeVicious.. I believe Steph has abandoned clothes layer for good :)
I’m wearing Sunshine Island, Steph’s latest little multicolored dress. Four HUDs of ten textures each, this time : Floral, Chiffon and Leather, Mixed Fabrics, and Ornament Dresses.
The leopard print in Mixe Fabrics caught my eye; it’s a lot better than what we usually see called leopard; it looks as if the designer had actually seen leopard skin before creating ;)
The Vega slouch boots complete the outfit, in five colors.
Two sets of dresses are included in the box; normal sizes, and Materials enabled doubles.
As lelo remarked to me, this is video week: Steph created an excellent demo video to show Sunshine Island with and without Materials enabled.

Steph keeps cranking out the summer dresses as if summer is going out of fashion fast and first indication of that is the jumpsuit i’m wearing here.
It’s called Miami Fiesta and i think that's a fitting name for it as it has that Buena Vista Social Club feel.
As usual, you get 5 huds with 10 different textures each for you outfit and this version even doubles that with the shine option, turning leather into patent leather.
The included ankle boots sadly disappear under the jumpsuit, which really is a shame, come in cream, red and black and 3 sizes.
So need a laid back, easy going little number for a indian summer evening jazz concert or just a sexy looking jumpsuit… *smiles*

MetaTheodora - SechnoTexual Boots

You know we like dolls, gynoids, androids, and all teh cyber shiny. When we heard from Sian (and she was kind enough to send samples to assist the decision process), we were quite pleased.
Her store’s not far from Graves, but sort of off-broadway. If you missed it while visiting Oxymoron, don’t feel bad - so did we. Hey, it’s what the good Lord made landmarks for, right?
These boots are very well made, and the part I wanted to see in action as soon as I saw them didn’t disappoint: the knee joint looks amazing in use :)
The boots are materials enabled; that means they’re probably even shinier than we think, but as Firestorm doesn’t show that yet, I’ll let you come to your own conclusions by watching this awesome video of Sion dancing in them.

The boots are by Sion Pearl at MetaTheodora, which offers everything you need to become the android of your dreams.
The boots come in 3 sizes and there is a free demo available, but the fit is very good as it’s rigged mesh.
The metallic look is pretty amazing, the cables on the back are a lovely touch for that genuine android look.
But the thing that really does it for me are the feet, yes i’m a sucker for ballets, but that shouldn’t be anything new to our regular readers.
So give her store a look but don’t blame us when you leave there all shiny. *winks*

Places - The Pick Up Point
The Intro Board I told you about in July is gone from the Rubber Room, but despair not!
In its place was an ad for another intro board, at The Pick Up Point. I thought this was by arrangement but it turns out to be just a cool coincidence.
The Pick Up Point is fairly new (it opened August 1st), and hopes to become a hangout. Those are hard enough to start - trust me, I know! Voice chat is permitted, but not mandatory.
The ad panels are the usual: drop in a notecard & pic, and pay 25L$ a week - presto, you have an ad running.
When things get rolling, regular “meet and greet” events will be held every week; we’ll let you know when they start.
If this is a cool project you want to support, TinkerTilly Resident is looking for a manager in an American time zone - you know, so she can sleep ;)

Rosal - Steam Waist And Neck Corset

Steampunk is all the rage lately; steam and gears are magical, and genius inventors can make anything - just ask Jules Verne!
Obviously, costumes have to match the era; have no fear, Rosal is here to help you look suitably Victorian, with the brand spanking new Steam waist and neck corsets.
Steam is incredibly customizable; you can change the color of the base, straps, center, rim, metal bits, lace strings and frilly lace bits, all independently.
The fit is remarkable; I mean, even improved on previous Rosal corsets. The S1 Normal fits me like a glove, hips to ribs. I’m really impressed; I snapped a pic to send to a RL friend who’s a corset model!
The center piece of the corset is a very neat set of gears; they look so authentic that I expected them to spin. Maybe it’s best that they don’t - I wouldn’t have been able to look away :)

Tsarina has been busy again and after Tron and the victorian era she has now taken steampunk as inspiration for her new corsets.
I’m wearing both the waist and the neck corset, both come in 3 sizes to fit most AV’s in SL and the waist corset has a small and big breasted option as well, guess which one i had to use. *smiles*
You also get a tight and normal version for the waist and a open collar or normal version for the neck corset.
Both corsets can be color matched to your current outfit, there are 8 presets or you can color all the separate components and for that perfect match you can use the included tint picker HUD.
Finally there is the option to add frills to your corset, just in case you are afraid it’s looking too masculine.
I do hope that she will add boots and gloves to the series soon, can’t walk around without those. *winks*

Server Side Baking Is Here, Yay!
Linden Labs has introduced Server Side Appearance - “baking” was too technical ;) - to the main grid.
Lelo and I visited a few busy hangouts to see if there were more grey people than usual.
Our very non-scientific first impression is that avatars rez a hair faster, and that’s all.
I’d say this is a total win for LL. A big change that doesn’t break things for most people using the recommended software is huge.
Good job, guys. Now get three-people private chat working, eh? ;)
So today, then, is the official last day of Phoenix. If you're still using it, everyone will be grey, and you will be grey to everyone.
This should not be a surprise to most, but as they say on the Firestorm blog, some 70,000 non-compatible users are still out there. Ok, change is bad, but dang!

Karu Karu - Buckle Strap Combos

Some cool new straps and rings and buckles at Karu Karu, and as there’s a wagonload, we’ll just show you two, and the vendor pic for all of them together is our third pic.
Now I was discussing harnesses as possible domme wear with lelo, and as usual, my sweetie and I agree, short of throwing a catsuit under it, no amount of accessorizing makes this a Mistress outfit. (Mind you, it looks stunning over my red POC catsuit!)
The astute reader will have guessed that Rosal Tueur gloves and Bax Regency boots are not included in the Karu Karu box ;)
I’m wearing the Combo number 4.. Chane should have made one more, just for the name.

Daisy Creations - Menial Chores Ironing

While I’m the first to admit that rubber dolls are pretty decorative, putting them to work occasionally is not a bad thing at all.
Daisy Creations is a store full of creative ideas to put your slave to work. The Menial Chores series includes Ironing, an activity center including poses, accessories, and, ahem, feedback ;)
Let’s just say that if you have a nagging fetish, this toy is for you. “You stupid thing! You can't even remember how to iron clothes. That was the wrong step!”, “This won't become any better. Now place the iron back on its stand!”, and other assorted admonitions accompany your slave as she works.
The animations are simple; don’t look for motion capture here. But the whole effect is pretty solid, and the chores are are a real punishment.
Do have a look at the AO’s at Daisy Creations: domme, sub, and shopping boy, the latter who caught my eye as a happy RL fantasy ;)

And now for something completely differently... the ironing board... a fun bit of work from Daisy Creations, that should keep your maid busy and well controlled.
The basic concept is pretty simple, but that goes for most brilliant things, the iron board keeps you maid busy ironing.
Once your maid steps behind the board, or is captured there, she is given an iron and a piece of clothing to iron, not that you can see them at first.
Then the fun starts as you have to click your way through the steps that ironing clothing involves, from picking it up, flattening it, to putting it back in the right basket.
All the while the board keeps bitching at you for every failure you make or when you work too slow or too fast.
This thing will keep your maid better on her toes than a pair of ballet boots, not that she shouldn’t wear them, or is that just my fantasy. *winks*

XTC Leather - Exhibition

Every fetishist has their guilty pleasure, and mine is eighties-style pyramid studs, lots and lots of them in neat rows.
It seems Xaviar may be nearly my age, or he just likes all the same things I do by pure luck. (I’m tempted to say excellent taste, but as one of my friends likes to say, *good* experts are just the ones who agree with you.)
Exhibition, then, is a cool leather outfit, with several versions: skimpy, naughty, and outrageous ;)
For once I let lelo show off the less revealing one, and took the short top. Not that she’s dressed for Siberia or anything.
Gold pyramid studs cover every reasonable inch of Exhibition, in prim or clothes layer reasonable facsimile. I decided to wear the cool included choker, but I spun it 180° to put the roller buckle at the rear. The bracelets are copy, if you want to wear a ton of them :)
Great boots with a bold leather texture complete the outfit, and as usual, the outfit is extremely low-priced.

In the box you will find a complete outfit or even two when you only wear the underwear layer.
There are 15 wearable items in the box, including the studded bracelets and collar Mistress is wearing.

Deviant and Bizarre - Pun(ish)Wheel

Mija is a friend of several friends, and a pretty active kinky creator. When she called to show us a toy, we were definitely interested.
She was hammering out the details with lelo while we sat at Domme A Domme. When Mija showed me the box the wheel comes in, I said it looked like a doomsday device ;)
The Punishment Wheel (with lelo here playing Vanna White) can be ceiling-mounted if you’re a fuddy-duddy square who insists on reading the winning pick right-side up. If you’re cool and don’t mind such details, you can set it on the floor.
Another great party animation toy that should be popular at clubs to break the silence.

But this is a solo project under her own Deviant and Bizzarre label, her Punishment Wheel.
It can be used as a party toy or as a automated Domme if you are so inclined, the party option would be a whole lot more fun though. *smiles*
The concept is pretty simple and is basically a wheel of fortune, the fortunes are what makes this wheel so interesting.
There are 6 contents available in the wheel, including femdom, latexdoll and RL.
You just click the wheel and where it stops.... you can guess the rest.
The wheel contains a few toys and LM’s that can assist you in your chores, isn’t Mija nice.

Bax Coen Design - Regency Boots

We won’t be the first bloggers to post about the Regency boots, but that won’t stop us ;)
Bax’s new Regency mesh boots are stunning; there’s no other word for them.
If the amazing standard texture isn’t enough for you, the Regency have materials processing; you must see Strawberry Singh’s video demonstrating this.
I was lucky enough to catch Bax at the store when I went for a peek (there’s no vendor pic yet).
If you've heard rumors of the Lindens possibly killing the mesh deformer Bax used, don't worry for a second. She told me flatly she would provide a free update if that happens.
The Regency come with Fix Feet, the terrific feature that lets you straighten ankles bent by some poses, and by popular demand, Walk Sounds - what fetishist doesn’t love the sounds of high heels clicking on a hard floor? ;)
So, incredible fit whatever your shape, incredibly detailed textures (just zoom in on the zipper!), and a fashionable platform and stiletto heel... I think we’ll be seeing a lot of Regency around SL very soon.

This one was a long time waiting but finally it made it out of the workplace and into the shop, well almost.
At last they are here overknee boots by Bax Coen, the boots all us boot junkies have been waiting for.
The boots are available in 7 leather colors, black, burgundy, pink, plum red and white, for now, but that’s how she started with her Prestige boots.
The boots come in 3 sizes: Standard, Plus and BBW just to give the collision bone deformer a head start, the standard fits both Mistress and me perfectly.
The foot shape is perfect with a fashionably fetishy platform and killer heels, add the beautiful texture and Bax’s eye for details and you have the standard overknee boot for SL.
Better run.. ohh wait, just 2 or 3 nights sleep then run and get yours... *smiles*

KDC - Wasp Gasmask

Kyrah’s been working hard again, and I sometimes feel like the laziest person in the world compared to all our designer friends :)
The result is the KDC Wasp Gasmask, a great bit of gear for our heavy rubber dolls and the people who love them ;)
We’re a few days post-release, which is a good thing since Kyrah’s had time to fix bugs, one not even her fault. You can read the details on her blog.
The mask looks really good, with textured rubber straps for pulling it tight like a RL one. The lens colors are pretty subtle, cyan and so on. I might have liked mirror and opaque lenses options.
As I’m not on materials-enabled viewer, Kyrah sent some snaps of the gas mask with different textures applied.. too subtle for my poor blonde head but here’s the link : http://imgur.com/a/8SR6S#0

And we are back to toys tonight, didn’t i tell you they were just falling into our laps lately, well tonight we present you the new gasmask by Kyrah at KDC.
You might know that i’m a bit of a KDC fan, i practically live in her catsuit and headgear, so i’m always happy when she comes up with something new.
First things first, this is one good looking gasmask and a model i haven’t seen in SL yet.
As you might expect the mask uses Kyrah’s smart touch bound system for the locking and a similar system to add the filter to the gasmask.
There is a HUD included that makes it possible for you to adjust the color of the mask to your current outfit.
With the HUD you can also control the sound level of the mask, please turn it off or at least set it to low in public places.
Go get them while they are hot, this is a rubber doll must have and something that shouldn’t be missing in any doomsday preppers inventory.

DeVicious - Looks That Kill

Another awesome little leather dress, this is Looks That Kill from DeVicious - well, leather and other things, but we’ll go with our strengths ;)
This is a strapless mini dress, and it’s a little tighter than some previous models - I actually needed the alpha to wear the Small size.
Steph included the alpha textures in full-perm versions so you can save and edit them if you want to adjust your hem just right. Not everyone will bother, but it’s great to have the option.
The Glow booties we showed you in April are included with Looks That Kill, and they look really good - I feel we skipped over them a bit quickly back then.
They’re cool spiked hidden platform boots, totally this year’s style. Black, leopard, pink, red and white are included, and the resize script is a breeze.
If you were looking for a hot mid-summer mini dress (well, fifty of them) to wear from dungeon to dance floor, look no further.

No toys tonight we are working on the fashionable part of the blog with another instalment of mesh skirts by DeVicious.
The dress comes in 7 sizes and with the included HUD you get 50 colors styles, 20 of which are leather textures.
The cut of the dress makes them a bit harder to fit than her usual so better be prepared to spend some time fitting your body into this one.
Still it’s more than worth the effort as these are super sexy dresses and with the included 50 textures there should be something for every occasion.
Did we mention the booties? the boots alone are worth the money and they are included for free in the set.

Think Kink - Rack’d

If you have a bicycle or a slave to chain up securely while you go have a coffee in town, Think Kink has just the toy for you.
This is Rack’d, a fun and detailed bondage toy perfect for urban setting sims.
The textures are really fun and varied, going from battleship plate to rusted metal. All five rack versions are included in the box.
Instead of including a help notecard in the box that can go stale like an old cookie, the menu has a Get option that lets you receive a fresh new (long!) one.
Another great toy in the line of Think Kink products. Ilana assures me the scripts are as light as they can get, peanuts for a bondage toy. I’m glad that’s a big preoccupation of hers.
Now I think it would be absolutely hilarious to get a really good SL bicycle and lock it next to a slave and leave it there. If you don’t feel objectified in that position, I don’t know what’ll do it ;)

This is Rack’d by the girls from think kink which comes in 5 versions, we went for the “classic” subs & bikes only, but there is also a official use only, long term parking, free parking and rusting free parking.
The signs are available as a template so you can make your own personalized version yourself, hmm how would “lelo parking only” sound?
The scripting is as we know from Think Kink, light and easy to use with all the options you would ever expect from a bike rack.. in Second Life.
Among those the still amazing PerfectPose system, so you only have to adjust your position on the rack once.
Ohh, one final word of warning, sub or bikes are not included in the kit. *winks*

Real Restraints - Isolation Hood

We swung by Twisted Orchid last week, as faithful readers will recall.
We always keep our eyes open for cool fetish content, and as we walked past Marine’s little vendor at the Orchid mall, I spotted the cool Isolation Hood.
As anyone who’s ever seen lelo knows, I like hoods.
The Isolation Hood model is a classic - just cause I love you guys so much, I found you a nice vintage illustration by the Old Master himself, John Willie.
This handsome piece of restrictive virtual leather, then, is thick and sturdy-looking. It’s colorable, which I think we’re coming to expect more and more.
Buying a second sculpted or mesh item to have another color is definitely starting to feel dated. (Clearly this doesn’t apply to clothes-layer items.)
While this is not Marine’s latest effort, we did like it on sight and so there it is :)

Next to the hood you also get the blindfold which works as a stand alone item but as you can see also complements the hood quite nicely.
Both menus of the hood and blindfold follow the usual Real Restraints way and should be easy to understand to the RR fans.
The hood does everything you might expect from a gag with the added possibility to deafen the wearer.
Add the blindfold and you can isolate your sub all the way, the nice thing is that you can set the intensity of the blinding (aka HUD) in 6 different intensities.
Another fun toy by Marine that should keep you happy for months, and with the colour and 3 hair options the cloning should be kept to a minimum.
