Badkatz : Pink Leather Jacket

I dropped into Badkatz expecting everything to have been moved around again.. but no! I actually recognized the sections, and found this cool jacket in minutes.

It looked good in the vendor, sure. But I'm a little leery of non-prim jackets lately. To compare with this one, I pulled out a red one I have, gathering digital dust in my inventory.

The comparison totally reassured me. Where the other is ragged at the edges and uses a lot of photographed leather textures, this jacket uses them sparingly. Zippers, pockets, and a cool hint of shadow under the flaps.. good art :)

As leather clothing goes, it's a lot "softer" than most of my wardrobe.. my usual spiked accessories look a bit out of place with it. Maybe I need pink spikes? ;)

PS: When you buy the jacket, it shows up in your Objects as just "Pink Leather Jacket". I thought for a moment that I had clicked cancel on the transaction, as I was searching for "Badkatz". See, I'm saving you the heart attack *I* had. Yummy, you listening?

Simple clothes layer jacket, but as usual Yummy shows she is a genius when it comes to texturing.

By keeping folds and other objects away from the edges you don't get any bad looking transitions.

The collar looks like it's a prim, the 3-D effect is amazing and the look of the zipper is very good as well, though it misses the same 3-D effect.

Add some jeans, boots and chaps and you got the perfect Biker Barbie outfit.

T and T : Obedience Belt

No, it's not a thong from the future.. it's a chastity belt.

With features that require a bit of reading ( I won't exaggerate and say a doctorate in nuclear physics, you know it's not my style. )

We've seen our share of collars over the months. Seems a lot of folks are making them.

I like the idea of open source scripting and cooperative development on slave gear - it strikes me as a little bit weird, but in a cool way.

And I still think the back looks suspiciously like brazilian butt-floss.

What do you get when you let a group of switches design a restrictive collar, introducing the T&T obedience belt.

Yes you read it right, this is a group effort and it shows, good scripting, very nice prim work and an excellent marketing idea.

But the thing that is most noticeable is the idea behind the belt, introduce some "freedom" while still keeping restrained.

The owner of the belt is listed in a note card and this owner can decide the amount of "freedom" the sub gets.

So this way others can use the belt, but the original owner still stays in control.

The look is great, someone really put some time in building this belt and it has a great fit.

The scripting is solid, takes a bit of getting used to at first, but i guess that's to be expected.

It offers everything you would expect from a modern RLV enabled collar, one little thing i like it the option to connect the leash to any of the leash points on the belt.

So stop reading, use the slurl and try the demo that's available at the castle, i'm sure you'll love it.

WarDooM Shoes : Tanja Boots

Suppose you have a friend who's a real masochist with a boot fetish.. well, these are probably what he dreams about.

Once you get past the spikes and the straps and the laces and the chains and the pointy metal toes - whew! - you find the solid Wardoom boots, with transparent prims to fit larger legs, very good shiny leather texture, and generally excellent work.

I'm still waiting for a slender model, Tanja ;)

Either you love these boots or you hate them, there is no middle way with these.

Someone let Tanja run wild with the prim gun on these, if you count all the prims in the thigh high boots you'll find 802 prims, not that SL will ever get that boring. *winks*

The thigh highs have the now familiar dragon on the shaft, and come in the usual WarDooM colors, here we show the fetish and the dark lack (dark = short).

As this is one of the older WarDooM designs, you get the old problem with the connections between the foot and lower leg part. Some adjustment might be needed, but i'm glad my precious WarDooM ballet boots have the one piece design.

All in all, a pair of boots that belongs in any trampling goddess's wardrobe, so i better slip out of them and get back in my ballets *smiles*

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Detention Slip

Look in the illustrated dictionary under the word "naughty" and you'll find this outfit by Kayliwulf.

And what's naughtier than one schoolgirl in a skimpy outfit? Why, two of them! Daphne came over and played twins with me.

She's such a sweetheart, I just had to hug her.. but big hair and hugs, you know. Trust me, it's really us, even though you can't tell ;)

Lovely outfit with a super blouse, a pair of great socks and a nice version the 10" pumps.

The blouse comes with a great prim knot and some lovely cuffs and collar, making it one of the most convincing we have seen yet.

The skirt is shorter than some of my belts, but i guess that comes with the territory.

I just love the plaid texture on the skirt.

This is a fourteen piece complete outfit. The included underwear consists of a thong and an enchanted underbra, which once again shows Laz's love for breasts.

As usual the pumps come with scripting to control the bling, sexy walk and sound.

A must have for all you bimbo schoolgirls out there.

EvA Footwear : EvA Angelina black

Someone dropped in on us at Bitch Goddess a while back with the Cheeky Paws version of the Angelina boots by EvA Footwear.

After chuckling at the fun texture, I recognized a very elegant boot design.

It was a pleasant surprise to visit the store and find that Van Stantz is Evangeline Eames's slave and designer - Eva is our new friend from the FEMDOM Magazine and quite a busy person :)

The EvA Angelina is available in different sets : black (includes red, purple, blue and green), gold (includes lighter tints) and silver (with very pale tints). Each comes with 7 sole colors and 21 sole trims. It's like buying a wardrobe! The colors are controlled with a simple menu.

Cheeky Paws, like the other semi-demo versions of the Angelina (with fun textures), are inexpensive but not quite free.

If you drop by the store in the Dominion's shopping district, you may want to have a peek at a stack of freebies hidden as a reward for having a thorough look around.

Looking for a pair of good looking leather knee high boots? Look no further.

The Angelina boots have a simple look, but manage to look very real.

The stitching at the top is an nice detail, as are the folds at the ankle.

The heel is straight forward but looks very comfortable without being chunky.

Still a great boot, just add jeans and a leather jacket and you have a great outfit, now where did i put that Harley.

The first time I went to the Hugo store I was totally awed. So much exciting, elegant, and outrageously sexy latex. In fact, so much that I could not decide which one to buy. A good friend came to my rescue and gave me Ilya 2 - sexy black and lacy-translucent latex.

The box was full of variations and layers: black leggings (chaps really), stockings, garters, panties and the lacy corsage with a deep plunging neckline. And the clearly visible zipper in the middle hands out an invitation. The corsage comes in a more revealing version too, which can be mellowed with 2 strategically placed hearts.

I like the elegant and yet sexy look and the underwear interpretation of latex. The shine and the highlights are spectacular. Mistress says I look almost dominant in Ilya ... I don't know - I simply feel sexy. This feeling comes at a price though ... it may take a while until I can afford all the Hugo latex I like.

Fun combo from Kcreation, i see hours of great role play coming with these two.

The latex has the usual Kcreation metallic shine.

There are no shoes included in the set, and that is a good thing, better stick to the thing you are good at.

The Novice comes with a short skirt and a choice of a catsuit bottom or panties and socks.

I love the way she made the wimple. The way it moves is very nice, i want a dress like that. *winks*

Still a great change from the usual outfits around Second Life. Just add some nice shoes, some restraints if you like, and you'll be sure to turn some heads.

AJ's Gloves, Open Collar scripted

You missed...

Inflatable bondage mittens are not that common, so it's fun to find this scripted set. We covered some by SbL a while back, in bright pink.

The script is Open Collar, the open source effort, used just as intended : in things for which it wasn't intended ;)

We played around with the leash options - the mittens will rez a post to leash your rubber doll to, but oddly, the link point isn't the pretty little ring at the end of the ball, but the padlock.

The price is a bit high, but it is a neat toy.

Fun little gloves by AmandaJule, the design is simple but good, the locks are very nicely done.

The gloves use the Open Collar script with RLV support.

The script is the standard script mainly used for collars, it would have been nice if the script had been rewriten for the gloves.

Still it works fine and options as lock, leash and spy are very good.

Spy is for the more paranoid doll owners out there, it reports the wearers TP's, relays the sub's chat and who is close to the sub.

The badwords option is a great training option for your sub. If the sub says a "bad" word from the list the sub is put in a preset pose and can only resume a normale pose after saying the release words in chat.

In the RLV options you can set all the usual options, like no tp, no chat, no map, etc. etc.. ,you would want to use with RLV.

All in all a great add on for your doll, and with all the options in the script, the only RLV toy you'll need to equip your doll with.

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Red Dawn

There's no such thing as too much red in your wardrobe. Valentine's day has come and gone, but this great little outfit has bright red and body lube shine to keep the mood going.

The short sleeves and peek-a-boo neckline give a summer feel. The open back gives something even more chilly than that ;)

A lovely new little outfit from Kayliwulf.

With Red Dawn you get a new version of the 10" latex stiletto boots, this time a buckle version, a body lube catsuit and the spanking dress 2.

This outfit as a fun contrast between the dress and the boots, the boots have an open front and the dress has an open rear.

Both are held together by little buckles, with the lowest on back being a nice little prim.

The dress has a cut out in front and for once it doesn't show any nipples. *winks*

The really great thing of this outfit is the body lube giving you a nice shine all over.

Saw someone wearing this great classic biker leather jacket, and I just had to have it - pleasant surprise, it's a freebie!

Great work on the prim flap folds.. after a bit of tweaking, they look awesome.

The jacket comes with some nice biker shades, and a men's version is also included. All is mod copy, but not transfer... so you'll have to send your friends to the shop ;)

Bax Coen Design - Ankle boots Pink Patent

New release of the Bax ankle boots, in baby pink, hot pink, and purple. If you had a special Valentine outfit that was just missing a spot of color, this may be just what you needed.

Bax pointed out a new development in the boot scripts, which forces the foot straight when using badly-designed poses - the "without" and "with" pictures speak for themselves.

This feature is activated by default. If you ever need to turn it off, it's in Walks/Feet menu : Feet Free to turn off, Fix Feet to turn it back on.

Still love these boots, and the new fixed foot features is great, no more broken ankles. *winks*

Next to this another great tip from Bax, there is a nice little trick to hide the shadow of your shoes.

Just enter the advanced-rendering-features menu and uncheck the foot shadow. (if you don't have the advanced menu, just hit ctrl-alt-Deirdre)

And hé presto all foot shadows are gone *smiles*.

So next to some great pink boots, which i know every barbie doll out there will have to own, two great improvements for all boot lovers out there.

Kcreations : Leather Catsuit Black/Grey

A lot of people know Kat Fetisov's freebie catsuits. We were chatting recently - she was at the FEMDOM Magazine launch, first time I had seen her in ages - and she was telling me she figures over 20,000 catsuits were picked up from her boxes. As she puts it, "KCreations - clothing kinky newbies since 2006".

The free KCreations catsuits are excellent - no reason only newbies would wear them. Naturally, they're free, so that's how it goes. I've sent more than a few people to her little store to go pick them up myself.

Speaking of awesome catsuits, here's a grey leather outfit that fairly shines. The texture is excellent, visible from quite a distance. The abs tell everyone you do more sit-ups than Sylvester Stallone, and with nothing more a few accessories, you're very nicely dressed indeed.

The texturing is very good, as we've come to expect from Kat. especially the front of the top is very good.

Instead of the usual high gloss, you might know from the free catsuits by Kat, the texture is pitted and this breaks the shine.

Especially the grey, shown here, gives an almost metallic look.

No self respecting leather goddess should be without a catsuit like this.

The FEMDOM Magazine

Last Saturday, we attended the launch for the new "FEMDOM Magazine". Yes, that's the title. No confusion here ;)

Evangeline Eames was kind enough to give us this interview :

Deirdre Young: Who had the idea of a Second Life femdom magazine ?

Evangeline Eames: Well, I did. I outlined that a bit in my letter to our readers. (Note : Page 2 and 3)
EE: I am not the first to do it : there was another Femdom magazine called Ouch, a year or two ago.
EE: I understand they had problems getting writers and good material..so it halted.

DY: BDSL died too... Magazines in SL do seem to die. Does that concern you?

EE: Yes, it is a concern. I think every project in SL only survives if there is a driving force behind it willing to put time, money , and energy in to it.

DY: And for FEMDOM Magazine, that force is you?

EE: Yes. It will happen because I'll make it happen.

DY: Projects are rarely picked up once the originator abandons them.

EE: I'm here to run the distance, not to do one issue and fade away.

DY: I like the sound of that.

EE: Well... we'll see if I am here a year from now, won't we :)

DY: The first thing that struck me was, that is a huge magazine.. 119 pages

EE: I thought it was small. An RL mag is double or triple that. Mind you, we had no ads the first issue.

DY: Do you intend to keep that page number going every month?

EE: We'll get bigger... minimum of 100 at the very least.

DY: How many people are on the team ?

EE: Right now, there is a core with a number of people contributing on a rotating basis

EE: The core is Madeleine Broome..our managing editor, Maztor Giles, our creative director, and myself. About 10 or so others assisted on this issue.. that number will fluctuate.

DY: All volunteers?

EE: Yes. there is no revenue generated by this magazine at this time....no ads. That will change - although at heart this is not a 'for profit' venture

DY: Labor of love, then. Do you intend to ever sell the magazine, or do you plan to keep it free?

EE: It will always be free. I don't expect many would pay for an SL magazine... and if so, not much..not worth the trouble.

DY: If not profit, what is your motivation, or your goal for the magazine?

EE: To strengthen the Femdom community in SL...and also it is great fun to do. Great to see people's ideas, great to offer a forum for people's thoughts and creativity.

DY: I looked at the Web version, and found it really convenient. Is it going to be a regular thing too?

EE: Yes it will be. Lots of people don't care to read magazines in SL..having an online component was imperative to me - I wouldn't have done the magazine without a way to view it online

DY: Will you be soliciting contributions?

EE: Yes, we have an open call to anyone who wants to send something in. Whether or not it is published will depend on the quality, and whether it fits into the feel of the particular issue we are working on.

EE: The more material to work with the better.. we need everything :)

DY: Will you be announcing themes for upcoming issues?

EE: No, although we already have one for our next. It will always be a surprise.

DY: Interesting :)

DY: How will you distribute the magazine?

EE: We have vendors up in a few Femdom locations...we hope to get them in to more. We also have a mailing list of a few thousand we drop it to. And unlike many magazines, our issues are copy and transfer. We want people to pass them around.. never understood why others were not.

DY: If the magazine is free, there is no reason not to make it copyable, I agree.

EE nods..and transfer..but I suppose that is to keep track of distribution. I don't care about that :) I care about accessibility.

DY: Counting readers is useful to convince advertisers, perhaps.

EE nods....so is quality and buzz, though. Lots of people know about us...word is getting out. Hopefully people will see it and want to advertise. But if they don't, thats fine too. A profit is incidental..if we have one at all

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Love Nurse

Today is special for lelo and me : this is our 100th post on this blog. Rain or shine, we managed to stick to our commitment and post every day of the week since we started. Some days it's easier ;)

Thanks to all our faithful readers, and thanks to the wonderful designers who have helped us in this project. Here's to many more hundreds!

To celebrate this occasion, and keeping with the Valentine theme, here's the Love Nurse latex ensemble by Kayliwulf Kingdom. And what better way to celebrate love than with a big scary syringe? No, I kid : it looks wicked, and wicked is good ;)

The red crosses on everything look awesomely medical. And nurses wear high-heeled laceup ankle boots.. well, in the better clinics they do.

There are two versions of the Latex Nurse Ensemble, one in red and black and the other in red and white. There is also the Barbi nurse, but I'll let lelo tell you about that one.

So if your loved one needs a bit of medical TLC this Valentine's day, pull on your rubber gloves and take good care of them.

Wow, this Barbi kit is a lot of fun, and a great idea for all doll lovers out there.

The first thing out of the box is the box to store your Barbie in.

After that come the shape, eyes, skin and hair, just the thing for some great doll play, become a Barbi.

Finally you'll find the love nurse outfit in the box, it's about the same as the latex nurse ensemble but for the love nurse the crosses are exchanged for hearts and the syringe is replaced by a heart shaped lolly.

The "normal" Nurse ensemble is also included in the box, except for the latex stockings end the syringe that is.

The ensemble consists of a pair of the FetishDoll ankle boots, Latex stockings (not in the Barbi edition), a great top, gloves and a nurses hat, all with crosses or hearts on them.

SHi Sexy Fashion : Doll chair & table

This is such a find. Elly showed up with one of these wonderful chairs Tuesday, and demonstrated it - well, I was sold!

We popped over to Sweel Honi's shop (that's SweeL, not Sweet : I misread and nearly contacted the wrong person) and saw this wonderful arrangement of tables and chairs, with built-in dolls and without.. I immediately dubbed it "the patio set" ;)

Since we're having our first "Dommes and dolls" social tonight at Bitch Goddess, I thought this would be just the thing. I'm writing this before the event begins, but I'm pretty certain the furniture will be a big hit.

Original and entertaining.. We'll definitely be visiting SHi again soon!

Forniphilia anyone? Well here it the first good non sexual forniphilia furniture i've seen in SL.

There is a chair with 3 poses for the Domme and a table with 2 poses for the Domme, the sub only has one pose, being the chair or table support.

The control of the pose is simply done by using the page up/down buttons.

For the people without sub's there are versions with prim dolls in place of the sub.

The pose in the chair is very good, i love the twitching of the legs.

Ohh.. and just in case you want a matching pair of prim and real dolls the real doll chair comes with a matching outfit for your sub matching the prim dolls.

Deirdre: I know, some of you may have misheard "groupies" ;)

Well, the topic today is shiny, latex-covered boobies. Winter Ventura made an excellent job of these, looking almost natural at the smallest setting.

They are an excellent match for the Powers of Creations catsuit, which many will agree is the shiniest latex you can find.

The shop is indeed eclectic, worth a visit and a peek from outside since it's a cool spaceship.

The price is quite good. We've also seen some of Winter's work at Mesmerize Dungeon, and we hope to see more.

lelo: You just have to love these implants. The form is great and the options are kept simple but offer all you would want from breasts like these.

The menu offer you a couple of options, first you can select if you want nipples on our rubber breasts.

Then you can select which color you want, nipples and breast can be given their own color, and here is the really smart thing: she uses the POC colors.

I tried the colors i have and the match is amazingly good.

Finally you can inflate or deflate them, this is the "normal" size, they go all the way up to massive back breakers. *winks*

No self respecting rubber doll should be with out these... question is if a doll has self respect. *smiles*

Scientific Revolution, Multi Gag

The way I keep buying these things for lelo, you'd think she yaks my ear off when she's not severely gagged.

Not so. I just love how these things look on her :)

We saw this trainer by Scientific Revolution at Marine Kelley's little shop, and it just looked perfect.

I like the texture, which makes it stand out even over a black latex hood. The rivets are pretty realistic, and the straps are nice and thick, articulated around O rings. We'll be kind and say the little padlocks look good from a distance.

You'll want to adjust it for good fit... I'm really starting to love items that come with a small-medium-large versions.

Now this one is special, one because it was a anniversary present from my Mistress and two because of the story behind it.

This gag was originally made by Scorpion, the same people who made the gasmask i love, but Scorpion no longer exists and is now taken over by Scientific Revolution.

I hope they are doing all right as the sim with the main store is gone at the moment, still there is a vendor at Marine's shop on Pak.

The gag offers everything you would want from a good gag: (changable) Mumble Channel; Lockable; Owner system (including transfer of ownership); Reporting system (informs the keyholder of a locked gag if it's taken off); Anti Idle; Allow/disallow emotes on chat; Time Punishment on cheating; Self-lock feature (in case you're one of the rare people who like to restrict themselves... )

The gag is RLV compatible, but doesn't have any RLV commands itself so you'll need to use Marine's shackles or a Mars ring to control the RLV features.

Kayliwulf Kingdom : Cupid's Arrow

A cherry-red treat for Valentine's day, here's Cupid's Arrow from Kayliwulf.

The tiny lacetex prim mini blows in the wind, and should capture hearts around you ;)

The heart-shaped red sunglasses are a fun touch. Wear this outfit to a club, set bling on, and you should win any "Best In Red" contest ;)

Cupid's arrow is the second Valentine's day special from Kayliwulf Kingdom.

This one is in the color of love.... red, or more precisely, wine.

The pumps are simple, and contain heel sound and AO scripting, but the bling on the heart-shaped sunglasses reacts to the usual "bling off" or "bling on".

The main part of the outfit is the latex bathing suit, which shows quite a bit of skin but won't look bad on any beach.

The latex stockings are held up by a garter belt, which peeks out from under the lacetex skirt.

The outfit is completed by a pair of long gloves.

The great thing about this outfit is the fact that all these parts can be used on their own for all kinds of occasions.
