Jaqueline Fashion - Freebies For June

We haven’t featured a freebie in a while, and as Jaqueline had a few good ones, I thought you wouldn’t mind if we mentioned the same store so soon again.

Jaqueline’s, as we may have said, is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space... er, to Jaqueline’s ;)

So, where I was going with this was, use the teleporters generously peppered around the store to get to the “New Releases” section to find the freebies.

Available for now : a cool corset (not featured, sorry), a cool Eye of Ra necklace, and a cool latex outfit in black and neon green.

The two-part outfit is simple but of good quality. i especially like the belts and bows on the back of the top.

The signal green wouldn’t have been my first choice but it works, making this one look fresh.

Add a pair of quality BAX boots into the mix and you have a great set for some serious clubbing.

I just have to mention the fitting service you get from BAX, now that’s the customer service we need in SL and RL.

XTC Leather - Obsidian Dress and Orion Catsuit

Another pair of recent releases from XTC : I’m wearing the ultramini black leather dress called Obsidian... I have longer t-shirts, but they’re not made of leather ;)

Lelo is modeling the white Orion catsuit (this for new readers who don’t know which blonde is which.)

The kit comes with or without underwear, in two ways : a pants layer skirt and underwear layer panties, or all together on the pants layer.

As usual, the texture is exquisite. A seam runs a whimsical pattern around the dress, and the folds and reflections are really authentic.

Leather-top whale net stockings, and fingerless shoulder gloves complete the outfit.

I hadn’t worn my old Minx thigh boots in ages.. they jumped to mind when I tried on this dress.

The Orion catsuit is called a leather catsuit but it looks more like spandex to me, still great effect.

The pack comes with body flame underwear tattoos, giving you that classic hot-rod look. *winks*

You also get an open and closed bottom for the catsuit, the open version leaves little to the imagination, well make that nothing.

A nice pair of wrist gloves in matching color complete the package.

As the pants are flared i suggest wearing them with shoes or short ankle boots.

Nice sexy leisure suit, just the right thing for Larry, if he had been a girl. *smiles*

Think Kink - Lisas Delight II

Well lelo was no help *at all* on this post.. she just sat there and moaned ;)

This is Lisa’s Delight II, by Think Kink, a nice kinky store in a nice kinky mall which we will be visiting frequently in the future.

This is a one-pose toy, but it has a lot of fun options.

A clean menu gives access to things like a free whip and color-change cuffs, and turns on a mysterious option called the Graboid.

Now I was expecting a tentacle monster to leap out and pounce on lelo, but sadly it seems to be a RLV relay invoking script. Still sounds like fun ;)

Well here is a nice toy from Think Kink, and thinking kink they were when building this one.

As you might guess the stand is fully RLV enabled and even offers a trap mode, so relay wearers beware of this one, you might get to know it more intimate than you would like.

For extra role play fun it has a remotely operated dildo, which is Xcite and Sensations enabled.

The stand has a simple animation giving the effect of some slight struggling against the bonds and trying to relieve some painful knees.

Once locked onto the stand you can’t get to the controls which is emphasized with the rattling of chains and a nice little line in chat.

Ohh and it comes with a free pair of Lulu’s basic play cuffs in leather, but it works fine with my trusted old Amethysts.

Pony AO - Netsui Kigyo

I occasionally get asked which Animation Override (AO) I would recommend. Short answer is there isn't one. I cycle between three different AO's depending on my mood and tack choice.

It also helps if you can find the AO's in your inventory easy enough. I already mentioned a few weeks ago one of my favorites, and from the comments, I am not alone there.

One of my other personal favorites and long standing one at that, is the Netsui Kigyo Pony AO. I have had mine a number of years, so forgive me if the newer ones are a little different.

This AO comes in a tiny prim which when worn is hidden inside the body. The AO itself includes 10 separate animations. 5 custom stands, a ground sit, 2 walks and my absolute favorite, a nice looking pre jump and jump animation.

The AO hud is modifiable, so you can take the animations and add them to other AOs you have, or put the whole AO set into some other prim item such as your hooves.

This AO has been around for ages and still comes highly recommended - and I feel it is well worth looking at when deciding on your AO.

You can of course turn the AO off using a spoken command on a pre set channel, just in case a cart animation causes some interference.

All the animations are smooth and polished, and I still have not seen the jump animation done so well yet. I would buy it just for the jump animations.

If you have not already visited Netsui Kigyo's store - then why not? There are plenty of things to look at, and pose stands so you can see the animations for yourself.

Having met with the delightful owner of Netsui, Misao Nakamura, she assures me that the pony AO is on her list of things to be updated, however a busy schedule means there is nothing set in the way of a time line for it.

Sweetest Goodbye - Get On, Black

Get on! is a cool, bike-babe style leather dress with loads of little prim details, including a nice prim collar - sadly, hidden by my hair in the pics, but forget any updo hair if you want to wear the leather cap.

Prims include a knotted bandanna, neat little pocket flap, big belt and a very clever skirt prim with butt cleavage ;)

The leather texture is excellent, with convincing folds and reflections, and cool contrasting zipper.

Get On! is available in four colors, and they are subtle shades of leather, not cheap primary colors : black, khaki, purple, and navy.

The matching leather cap is not included, but is on a table next to the outfits - in the same four colors.

When Mistress sees a good looking leather cap there is no holding her back, she just has to get it.

Once again, a big, beautiful store we didn’t know about. While I think that it’s wonderful that we keep discovering new ones, I do find it a little disconcerting.

Sweetest Goodbye is a full sim store, and a lovely, classy sim it is. Two-thirds are taken up by the store, and one third, separated by a lovely canal, holds a runway, a photo studio, and a café terrasse with little tables to sit and chat.

Morphine doesn’t seem to like vendors and has her products on racks, which gives the store a very RL look, and it seems to make for a quicker sim.

All in all, a wonderful looking sim even if your not in the market for some new clothes, it’s well worth the visit.

We never heard back from the owners, but it could be a fluke - it’s only been a few days - so we’ll put down no opinion for service.

Mech-Toys - Galaxy Dolly

Wed 2011-11-09 : Mecha informs us the Galaxy Dolly is no longer sold.

Here’s a treat for the doll lovers out there.. yes yes, we know you’re there even if you don’t say much.

This is Galaxy Dolly, by Mech-Toys. Once again, we got a nice interview with the designer and scripter (or as he puts it, code monkey), and we were pretty flattered to hear that they both knew the blog.

Galaxy Dolly is a full kit, everything included, and dolls will love the shape and wind-up key.

A fun related item caught my eye at Mech-Toys : the power-up oil can dispenser, which powers up a doll as if she had got her key wound up.

A fun outfit, with lots of roleplay possibilities. Strike the pose!

With all the barbie outfits we have shown you over the, wow it’s years i guess, we never gave you the “real” barbie doll.

So it was high time and with Mech-toys you get the real deal, we picked the Galaxy Dolly because it’s one of her newest designs and we liked the look. *winks*

This is a complete AV in a box, you get everything too..hmm.. make your dolly come life. Sounds like a RP theme to me. *smiles*

The jointed doll skin is the best i’ve seen in SL till now, very impressive.

The clothes are a nice mix of cloth-layer and prims bringing it all to life. Well as much as you can expect with a doll.

Next to all the visual items there is the, lets say RLV, item the doll key, doll keys are a pretty big part of doll play.

The Mech-Toys one is based on the open collar script and comes with a plug in for your collar in case you don’t want to have they key on your back.

So run and get your favorite doll outfit and make sure your key doesn’t run down on a deserted sim.

eku Zhong - Apocalips

Eku Zhong may be the most sold and least known designer in all of Second Life.

After finding some of her sculpts used by some of the top fetish designers we’ve covered, we decided to go say hello.

We were fortunate to catch Eku and her sweetie Yure at a convenient time (they’re 13 hours ahead of Montreal time), and had a wonderful chat with them.

Eku’s been designing for one year in SL, but she also sculpts in real life, working in ceramics.

Her early designs in SL were photorealistic, but as time went, she wanted to make something more original. Certainly her latest designs reflect this.

We had a peek on XStreet for her work, and saw some but not all of the designs we knew. She mentioned getting copybotted and her work being resold so cheap it was the #1 popular item. The Lindens were less than helpful, waiting weeks before pulling down the stolen items.

She sells sculpts, but designers add their touches, turning them into unique, sometimes unrecognizable items. As Eku said, she sees her sculpts as soup stock - the base for something with more flavor.

She told us more about mesh and sculpties than I even knew existed. Here’s a link with something to whet your appetite if you want to learn more.

While fetish boots aren’t big sellers for her, she enjoys making them, so we can look forward to new and interesting things from her in the future

LaVa - Buckled Latex Corset Black/Red

A lovely jacket-layer corset by LaVa, this one is called Buckled Latex Corset Black/Red for obvious reasons ;)

As it happened, I was still wearing the gorgeous Omnisuit by Tandael and my big cape, looking like a classic superheroine, when I tried the corset on - it looks like it was made for the Omnisuit.

But to show it off properly, I pulled out of the wardrobe one of my awesome KCreations catsuits : the look is blood red, with blood red PixelFashion boots, and a blood-red.. um, no, the corset is black with red straps.

The straps and buckles are quite detailed, and it’s easy to forget it’s clothes layer only.

If I could wish for one thing, it might be to have the corset in all layers, for easier mix-and-match.

Other than that, a great addition to your fetish wardrobe.

And lately we have been getting suggestions from friends, designers and readers, which makes our lives quite a bit easier, SL is still a big place. *winks*

But this one took us a bit by surprise, a designer putting us on the trail of another designer.

The little bunker of a store on Refuge Island showed a couple of nice catsuits and the promised corsets.

This little buckled number caught our eye, so have a look i know you’ll like what you’ll see.

Pony Places - Wild Ponygirl Island and Stable

On first landing here, you will be presented with some steps down which take you into the mall. Perfect placement to catch those impulse buyers like me!

A spacious mall, well-stocked to satisfy most looking to upgrade tack or supplies, or indulge in something a little less pony-oriented, as not all items here are purely ponyplay.

Leaving the mall and heading back up the steps you will pass under a double arched bridge which takes you out to a large field.

Across from the field you will find the mainstore to Morbid Play. Check out their store while you are here as they stock some fine tack!

At the left of Morbid's entrance, a bridge brings you to a campfire, and a social area with game tables. Beyond it, a jetty with relaxing sofas and a hot tub.

There is a lot to explore around the landing zone of this stable which shares the sim with the main store of Morbid Play, and lots of distractions even before you get into the stable proper. Be ready to do a lot of walking if you don't bring a pony and cart !

Teleporting up to the stable proper (dragging myself away from the distractions on the landing area) sees the sim set out with the same level of thought and variety as the landing area.

If you have not already been to visit this stable, then this weekend is your perfect chance as they are holding pony events from 7.00am friday 18th June for the weekend.

Jaqueline Fashion - Rana with Dirty Kalla Boots

Seems like we hadn’t featured Jaqueline in ages.. we visited her sim and saw some gorgeous everyday clothes as well as the fetish we knew her for.

The Rana red is brand new, and the black version came out a couple of weeks back. Hardly old news, even if not quite first-day release (which I love so much).

There are quite a few extras in this box : in particular, you’ll find a little HUD that calls up the menu to control your boots, and a Zhao for the sexy walk.

Color refers to the gem at the center of the star on the front, texture refers to the star and ammo on the side, and show/hide will let you hide star, gem, and barbed wire for a less military look.

You’ll want to spend a moment adjusting the invisi prims just right - the included note on boots gives good pointers for that. Another note gives a good explanation of the RenderVolumeLODFactor trick for best-looking sculpties.

All in all, a generous offering that includes some things we take for granted but will be a boon to newer residents.

The catsuit has next to the nice texture and good fun cut 2 special things.

First there is the Viewer 2 headtatoo latex hood, which you can see in on the vendor picture.

The second are the supplied transparent shirt and pants, Jaqueline offers 0%, 25% and 100% transparency.

Next to the catsuit you get gloves and socks in black and red.

Next you’ll find a pair of boots in the box, we had a bit of a surprise when we rezzed the boots.

A quick check in the prims showed they are made by the same builder as the DV8 boots we featured on monday.

Keep a look out for an interview with eku Zhong, the original builder behind big parts of SL.

Still Jaqueline did a good job on adding the extra details and of course the HUD Mistress mentioned.

Tandaels Design Studio - Omnisuit

I love an excuse to wear a cape.. and the best one in the world has to be superheroine outfits.

Introducing Tandael’s Omnisuit and OmniBodysuit, two awesome kits of a hundred million parts each.. seriously, it kicked my inventory into the next thousands ;)

All the parts are clothes layers, and all are copy - mix and match being the very *point* of this kit, you’ll want to make copies and save them as outfits, for those quick changes in phone booths.

While the OmniBodysuit can be worn alone (by your more invulnerable or exhibitionistic heroines), it works awesomely well as a set of extra parts over the Omnisuit (that’s the bodysuit in our third pic).

When we visited his shop - and got a wonderful introduction to the Omni line - we also got a preview of Tandael’s next project, matching body armor.. Iron Man fans should definitely keep an eye out.

Ok, so we like our superheroines, but then whats not to like about skintight spandex, high heels and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, though personally i could do with out the last one. *winks*

Now about the Omnisuit, the idea is so simple i bet very designer is thinking; “why didn’t i....”, still most brilliant ideas are inherently simple.

You take all the cloth layers and make the lowest the biggest and each layer above smaller so you can see parts of the layers below.

That’s the first step, second you make a nice texture which brings the suit to live, aka the fun sewing lines and highlights.

Make the base color white and allow the owner to change the color in the appearance options.

Hé presto, millions of combinations and it doesn’t stop there, as an added option Tandael offers special overlays with symbols on them, like a spider or an S, well you know the kind.

A last smart little thing, all the items are copy so you can make little folders and copy the parts you need into them and make a special outfit for each event.

So get over there and make your own superhero costume.

Sin Labs - Sin Cycle

The Sin Cycle is when you put your clothes in the wash and they come out kinky ;)

No, no. It’s a very cool motorcycle by Sin Labs. And lelo’s long legs are just the thing to decorate it.

Well, actually, an included shape makes sure that no bits stick out and ruin the sleek lines of the bike.

As a vehicle, it handles quite well - although Motor Loon Custom Cycles have spoiled me for any other bikes.

As a fun way to use your doll in a conspicuous, sexy, objectifying way.. it’s hard to beat :)

As you might expect from a place like Sin Labs, the bike is fully RLV enabled so you can permanently lock your doll to the bike.

When on the bike the doll is just part of the bike so not involved in the driving, unlike a pony cart.

You can personalize the bike by changing the accent colors and rims on the wheels.

But the best thing is the license plate, which you can put your own name on or any other name you want to give your bike.

Ohh when you are at the store better watch out for the pose stands, you might never leave......

DV8 - Almost Violent Boots

We received a package from DV8 last week, and for no particular reason, I immediately opened the box that contains the boxes that contain the items.. and found a really wild pair of boots called Almost Violent.

They’re available in a wide variety of colors : Aquanaught, Cyan/Black, Fallout, Gunmetal, Merlot, Purple/Black, Red Alert/Black (worn here), and Violaceous.

We covered Razor Girl in March, in Red Alert/Black, so these may be standard color names at DV8.

These are mod copy but no trans, and as the included note reminds you, make a copy before you modify them to suit you best.

They fit me like a glove out of the box, I just had to position them a bit - so they may need a bit of enlarging to fit some shapes.

Fun fifties-style heel, a wicked platform and cool contrasting accents at calf and ankle make a unique boot that will turn heads wherever you wear it.

I think DV8 has one of the highest production rates of all get shops we know, sadly like we told you in a previous post their main focus is the Goth scene.

Still Goth and fetish are close relatives and this makes these shops so interesting.

We keep an eye on the new products and once in a while we find a little gem like these boots.

So don’t be discouraged by the main focus of a shop, you never know what you might find, ohh and of course shopping is never a punishment.

Bugshit Latex - Latex Catsuits

You have your pony tack but need a catsuit for the sake of modesty, and you're on a tight budget?

It happens, and if you missed Deirdre's post in March, then you need to pay Bugshit a visit, now!

A typical catsuit costs just L$100 and comes on all layers, in zipped closed, plain with no zippers or fully open zipped breasts and crotch varieties. That's a lot of choice for a small price.

The catsuits come in all the colours in the rainbow and a few more as well, opaque or sheer.

But this is also a store that sells one of the rarest fetish sets I have encountered so far.

A while back, I mentioned fox hunting as a pony activity in SL.

Well, you can get your very own latex fox outfit from Bugshit, complete with tail and muzzle/mask, for the same low price of L$100. And yes, I did get one myself.

Catch It - Nalia Red

Catch It is another Latexia find.. I swear, we just go there and find new designers every time.

We dropped by the Catch It main store for a peek... the look is modern, and the new items are near the door, clearly indicated. (hint, hint, all designers!)

Nalia, er, jumped out at us ;) The corset outfit has a wild red and black check pattern and some excellent shine.

This is a fun change from solid latex colors, although it will be a challenge to integrate in an outfit.

Guess you’ll just have to wear it like that ;)

This outfit by Pad isn’t for the faint of heart, it really makes your breast stand out there.

Don’t forget to take the free matching pasties, offering a little bit of modesty, they are in the box in front of the vendor.

The corset can be worn with or without the leggings, which comes in a pants and underpants layer.

Next to the waist corset you also get a very nice neck corset also in the same red and black look.

There is a nice little bow on the back of the corset, which is a bit hard to see at first, but i think that only makes it better.

EvA Footwear - Oriental Suede Boots

I like dragon boots. It seems to be a popular design, and many online high heel boot stores like Bad Girl Heels carry them (here’s red and here’s white).

EvA not only offers a pair, but the suede version is free.

You’ll have to look up near the ceiling to find the freebie box.. maybe it’s a fiendish plot to make you look around the store? ;)

It’s definitely worth a look. EvA offers a lot of variety in a clean, simple store layout.

Oh, and a little bird (well, editor in chief, if you want to be picky) told me that issue 11 of Femdom Magazine is on its way... keep an eye on the site.

Get them while they are free!! i mean it, Van’s free offer is only for a limited time.

These boot offer everything the “normal” version offers, except for the boot textures and a cut down AO.

You only get the lovely dragon print with these, not a bad thing i think and i think most of you have your own AO.

Next to the texture selector, you can change the color of the sole trim, adjust the sound (quite a good selection in these) and resize the boots.

A resize is hardly needed, just a slight adjustment and they fitted me perfectly.

So what are you still sitting there, time’s a wasting.

Places - Venustus

Venustus is one of our regular hangouts : it’s gorgeous and peaceful.

It’s also a lesbian sim; that is, it’s for women only - male avatars get ejected on sight.

Fetish and BDSM are welcome - some humorous “Caution BDSM” signs have recently been added here and there near the main building.

Venustus is an old place. It was established in 2008, and grew over time to take over the entire sim.

It has changed looks a few times over the years, as the owner is an enthusiastic builder.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the security is very good - we’ve never even *seen* trouble.

And unlike strip clubs, there are no one-prim-penis noobs around ;)

There are regular events : Kayliwulf Kingdom is in every other Friday (next visit is June 11th!), and XTC Leather is also over regularly.

Even outside of the scheduled events, the club is usually busy, mostly focused around the dance floor.

A mall surrounds the club, full of fetish stores. There is ample seating outside the main building for snuggling and chatting. A lovely little beach offers a quiet corner for same.

Some very clean beach-front condos surround the island, separated from the club by a beautiful “lagoon”.

We love everything about Venustus : the look, the staff, the atmosphere, the visitors.. I swear, the average night sees better fetishwear than Bondage Ranch does.

Latex Station - Vlanex Black

We ran into Chill3 Mills while visiting Latex Station some time back, and she immediately handed me the Vlanex catsuit.

It’s new, it’s intricate and gorgeously detailed, and it’s not even on XStreet yet.

There are three versions of the underwear layer : black transparent (back shot here), hard nude, and plain black (the front shot).

The beautiful front designs go great with a jacket like my Cipher, which is widely open in front.

Ohh.. the included smoky transparent latex is to die for.. not very decent but sooooo good looking *winks*

VvB Stiletto Heels - Equestrix Platform Riding Boots V3

Following on from the recent spate of updated VvB branded shoes and boots, the updated riding boots have, yes you guessed it, been improved.

I was surprised as I didn't really feel that these boots could be improved on further, after all, the Version 2 boots were in my opinion, superb.

I rushed out to buy the version 2 set as soon as I learned of them, and was not disappointed. So when I got wind of the updated version, I was there right away.

Viktoria has worked wonders, improving the boots in subtle ways that might not be immediately apparent, but the overall look is simply stunning.

If you want a pair of riding boots that make you look elegant, definitely have a Dominant air to them, then you should kick yourself for not considering these.

The textures are simply remarkable, the 9 inch heels, platform soles, and ankle spurs are beautifully rendered, and the boot shafts hug the calves perfectly.

Add to that the fact that the spurs are re colour-able at the touch of a button, as well as a built in AO and heel click, and you have a pair of boots perfect for wearing while out with your pony.

In fact, it would really be a crime to get these boots muddy at the farm, and let's not forget, the heels would sink into the grass. These boots are to wear, not walk in.

Unless you have a slave who enjoys a little boot worship. In which case, these will keep you both happy, and when worn with your jodhpurs, create the perfect classic English riding style with that fetish flavour.

Deviant Designs - Bliss Boots

A new release from Deviant Designs, this is the Bliss ankle boot, shown in black here. It's also available in white, pink, blue, red and purple.

And I was just thinking I had nothing to wear.. when I remembered the Amina outfit from Hugo’s Design - we hadn’t run the baby pink, so here it is.

A very good menu is included in the Bliss, with resize, and color control for metal accents and sole.

Walking sounds are included in the invisible prims, so choose the set with or without sounds, and you're there. Simple and unusual!

This is going in my wardrobe next to my other favorite ankle boots - seems to me I wear them a little too often. ;)

We reported on the pony-boots by Deviant Designs a while back, with the bliss boots Rosie proves she can make a good fashionable boot as well.

This is a very good looking ankle boot, with cool decorative buckles and detailed textures showing seams and reflections. Even the sole has traction marks.

The fit is excellent, and the heel is perfectly proportioned. A nice metal tip adds to the realism.

Not real fetish boots, but a real trampling lover won’t complain about the pointiness of the heels. *winks*
