N-Core : Stylus Platform Xtreme Heel Black

lelo spotted someone wearing those great shoes at Bondage Ranch, and we just had to drop in to N-Core to see them.

A classic fifties shape to the foot, and a very well-made platform make these shoes a delight to the eye.

You totally picture Betty Page wearing them.

The prim work is excellent, the texture has shine just in the right places, and I love the ankle strap.

Service was excellent, and the store is clean and easy to navigate. The huge stairs in the middle are fun.

Shoes are in the little annex building in back... you can just walk straight ahead at the main entrance.

I adore these shoes, loved them the moment i saw them, and they come pretty close to my beloved ballet-boots with the heel height.

They look so uncomfortable, it's to die for. *winks*

After i had stopped drooling over them i found the menu in the right shoe, which gives you amazing control over the shoes.

You can easily adjust the skin color, there is a color hud but the preprogramed colors work fine.. for me.. *smiles*

You can change the color of the inside heel and shoe sole, the ankle strap buckle and if you want diamonds on the ankle strap.

Size is also controlled by the menu, as is the heel sound.. by the way did it tell you i really like these shoes?? *winks*

They come in quite a few colors so you can match them to all your outfits.

A small but very useful bit of advice from N-core: Make your prims visible from longer distances! 1. Press ctrl+alt+shift+D to open an ADVANCED menu options 2. Go to ADVANCED >> DEBUG SETTINGS 3. In opened window choose "RenderVolumeLODFactor" and set value to 4 4. Close window and enjoy right looking sculpted prims from any distance

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Belle Rouge

First, a happy little note for us : this is our 200th post! Thank you to all our faithful readers, and welcome to all the new ones :)

Introducing Belle Rouge, a new outfit from Kayliwulf. It's the first in a while - Lazarus has been busy, I'm told.

You'll need to be careful where you go with this top, it's one of those half-nipple baring bras which are a specialty of the house ;)

Lacing fans are well served, with gloves, boots, and corset all sporting more eyelets and prim laces than you can shake a stick at.

Belle Rouge is a classic red and black combination, a 15 part combination.

This is one you can really use to fill your wardrobe with good clothing you can mix and match.

First, there is the underwear layer which is a sticky latex catsuit in obsidian, just look at it lifting my butt. *winks*

The second layer are a black mini dress, black bra and red laced gloves (still loving the laces on those).

Finally you get the jacket layer with the open PVC & Chrome corset, be careful with the laces : they attach to the spine, which in my case is the attachment of my collar.

The laced red 10" stiletto boots with the #4 heel complete the set.

Great together but also good apart, get out your pose stand and start mixing.

Care And Training Of Your Pony

So you have decided to join the ranks of a pony owner or trainer?

Remember that most ponies have spent a small fortune on their tack, and so like to feel that it has been a justified expense.

So, be sure that you compliment the pony on their appearance, and take the time and expense to purchase a few suitable trainer items.

A good set of jodphurs, riding boots and a riding jacket (E Watkins are a good place to look for these together with the Xcite! buggy whip are good additions to any owner or trainer's inventory).

You can even buy latex riding outfits at Latex Desire to mix a few fetishes up together.

If you can't spend all your online time with your pony, find them a stable that provides trainers to help keep her occupied in your absence - it's boring as hell to log in for 3 hours every day and have no contact with anyone while locked in your stall.

Be sure to take the time to learn how to put your pony through dressage, learn cart commands, and how to role-play giving them a bath after rigorous exercise.

Also, reward your pony often with sugar, apple slices, and soft strokes to their mane or face.

Remember that the whip is to be used mostly as a signal device, or simply a prop and not actually used to punish a pony.

A blindfold is a very effective punishment for any pony, though some would argue that being stripped of their tack and made to be a human is also effective.

Most ponies are not so much disobedient as playful and spirited. Be sure to take this into account before punishing your pony

Perhaps instead, you can make then run a slalom 10 times.

Be certain that you allow your pony time to rest, and time to drink water, as heavy exercise can be very demanding on even the best pony.

Hugo's Design - Kitana Suit

Kitana is my role model. She wears leather, spends time at the beach (sometimes does both at the same time) and kicks butt.

It's also the name of this excellent new outfit by Hugo's Design.

The full kit is 69 items : you can spend a lot of time mixing and matching parts.

Excellent shine, good details. The buckles and straps are cloth layer but look very good.

There is a slightly more covered version of the pants... more clubwear than the "full-access" version showed here.

Definitely a good buy, considering how much you get for your L$.

Kitana comes in 4 versions, the top, the body, the pants and the suit (which contains all the for mentioned parts).

You get a lot of items in each version, here we went for the short sleeved body, chaps, gloves and nipple covers (we want to stay PG).

As you can expect with hugo's clothes the texturing is perfectly done, i just adore the little belt under the my breasts.

As mentioned in the comment last week the lines are indeed sharp and well defined.

Wearing this is begging for a good spanking. *winks*

SHi Sexy Fashion - Latex Kneehigh Boots V2

Somehow I managed to miss these boots when I got the ultra-long Python boots on our last visit at SHi, so it was a pleasant surprise to see someone wearing them at Bondage Ranch.

These knee boots are gorgeous, and they fit almost perfectly out of the box.

The shine is terrific, and a few cool prim straps and zips and calf chain with an adorable little padlock just make them irresistible.

New readers won't recognize the Alien Leather catsuit and Cipher jacket I'm wearing, so here are the links ;)

Sweel is a dear, we had nothing but excellent and timely assistance from her. The work is amazing, the prices are incredibly low.. seriously, go, and bring a friend ;)

This is another case of see them, buy them... we were kinda surprised they were by our old friend Sweel Honi, she always seems to surprise us.

At the shop we couldn't help sneaking a peek at the giant doll she has locked up in the shop.

We got the second pleasant surprise when we checked the boots they are discounted 40% off, not sure how long this will last so better hurry.

The one thing i really love about these boots is that they are one piece so no odd angled ankles.

KaS - CollarHood

Deirdre:
Salid doesn't bring out a new item every week, but when she does make a new one, it's usually pretty impressive.

Such is the case with this new CollarHood. This is how I picture the Man in the Iron Mask from the Three Musketeers!

I like the mesh eyes and mouth cover - the solid ones give the head the look of a statue.

The annoying SL prim zoom bug means that if you zoom in and out, you may see skin or parts of the face, but we're getting used to that... much as we sometimes sputter and swear at the Lindens for certain policies, we do believe they're doing their best.

Fix one bug at a time, Lindens! Don't stop improving the world!

The idea of making a prim hood isn't new, but this one really works and combining it with a collar is sheer genius.

As usual with a KaS product you get a very well scripted toy that looks good and is well thought through.

The hood is easy to adjust with the menu options and you can change the look of the hood, color wise and looks wise.

You can leave the hood open, leave 3 holes, close them with mesh, or fully closed and there is a dolly mouth, which sadly didn't work on my beta version (could have been SL though).

In the coloring options are a good example of Salid's way of working, she made a sub-menu giving you the option of making the hood uni-colored or give every part it's own color.

Colors include the POC colors so you can adjust the hood to match the shiniest latex in SL.

As you would expect the hood has a HUD to blindfold, a gag function, leashing and locking and of course everything is RLV compatible.

So get down to Salid's shop and complete the set, i'm sure you already own the corsets and chastity... be honest... *smiles*

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Arnold Sunglasses Black

Well I did the "cheap sunglasses" bit from ZZ Top before so I won't hit you with it again ;)

Fun shades from Kayliwulf, loosely based on the Terminator sunglasses made popular by our favorite killer robot from the future.

Good transparency, the usual Kayliwulf vast array of colors.. I almost got the pink ones, just for fun.

A definite biker look to them, so I wore my nice racing suit from Magna Carta (now sadly defunct, but we'll track down the designer!)

Good way to spend the last remains of a FetishCard ;) "Ah'll be back!"

The Arnold's are simple in design but they still work great, there is a thing called over engineering.

The best thing about the glasses is the shine and transparency, something you won't see on the freebies.

Adjusting the glasses is simple as they are full mod, Mistress just "stretched" them to the smallest size and fit them on her lovely nose.

Instant rough boy/girl look, just add the leathers and boots and you'll be there.

Pony Locations

There are many sims catering to pony play : some totally devoted to it, others including facilities as part of a wider general BDSM theme.

Frilly Filly Farm, Foret de Broceliande and Alikat are the ones I know best.

If you do a Mature search in Places on “ponygirl” and "ponyplay", you will get around 66 and 24 hits respectively at the time of writing.

Explore them to get a better idea of just how popular and varied pony play is.

Talk to trainers, and if you are able to, talk with the ponies (in IM, naturally!) After all, it's the ponies that can tell you most about a stable.

Remember that some of the ones you'll find are sex-oriented sims. The serious places won't have the word "sex" in the description.

If the dedicated pony sims seem a little too specialized, there are a number of general BDSM places which have an area for ponies. Again, you may find that to some, a pony is just a different type of sex slave.

If you want some good carting roads, the Linden Road is a good run for a pony, just be patient on sim crossings.

I recommend using Happy Bottom Riding Club (editor's note : the club is gone, but the location is still good, as you can rez a cart there) as your start point, and then follow the Linden Road - it has been paved so you should have no problem finding it.

Remember to be respectful of the sims you will pass through and to keep on the road and not cut through someone else's land.

If you are not feeling so brave, The Island of Questionable Virtues offers superb pony training facilities and paved pathways, as well as some good shopping options for the discerning pony.

You can also join the SL Ponygirls Club for updates on stable meetings, informal get togethers and pre-arranged events.

Hugo's Design - Araya white

This is our first visit to Hugo's Design, and from we saw, it was long overdue.

As it happens, Erik just launched a wagonload of excellent new designs, so it was a great time for a first visit. If only I was this lucky around sploders ;)

With Araya you get a very sexy outfit with a lot of options, and all layers are included, so you can imagine the size of the box. *smiles*

The base of this outfit is a very good looking latex mesh, which hides just enough to make this outfit "PGish".

The outfit consists of stockings, gloves and a bodysuit which comes in 2 bottom versions and 5 top versions in all the cloth layers.

The options include open and closed top and bottom and the nice under bust belt is an option.

The texture looks very good and the cut is ultra sexy, you'll turn quite some heads in this one. *winks*

AtaMe - Marie Antoinette Black

Introducing Marie-Antoinette, by AtaMe. Milu is a new designer, and we were pleasantly surprised when we visited the store : good fetish fashions, and the work will only keep improving, I think :)

There is a very friendly dance club above the store, and I think we might start visiting it regularly.

I love to people-watch, and the crowd there was really well dressed when we dropped in.

So, about the outfit : good latex lingerie with fun rows of buttons as highlights, and a hoop skirt and big poofy cloth layer skirt to wear over it.

The result is pretty darn authentic-looking to me.

Drop in to the store, meet cool friendly fetish folks, and see the designs.. you won't regret it.

Bhadra's Fetish Shoes and Toys - Mistress Ballet Boots

lelo never gets tired of ballet boots, and we keep finding cool new pairs to show you.

These are from Bhadra's, and are called Mistress ballet boots, although you would generally not get me in these for all the tea in China.

Great lacing, straps, locks, and a good shine. They fit lelo's long legs just barely, and may break on larger calves.

The store is a cool little skybox done in Japanese shoji panels, and has a great system that rezzes the items when you touch the wall pictures - definitely worth a visit.

These boots have a great toe-box, nice and square just like they should be, classic pointe shoe look.

They work just like the SL classic's from Fairlight, just click and lock, though as an extra you can insert your owners name into a little notecard for the script.

When locked, the boots are enclosed by 3 belts which are locked with little locks.

You'll have to tinker with the boots to get them to fit just right, but all parts are full mod so you can adjust them to your heart's content.

But be careful, you can't make a security copy of them first, though at these prices it isn't the end of the world.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - My Pink Bucked Futt

Daphne loves those naughty names.. "Up Your Butt", "Up Your Butt Too", "Freeze Your Butt".. and now, introducing "My Pink Bucked Futt".

I'd suggest being really careful naming that outfit in casual conversation.. it tends to come out wrong ;)

The pink color is great, but to get a skirt any shorter than that, you'd need a belt. A *small* belt.

Boots with the excellent #4 heels, a slew of good prim details here and there.. a lovely outfit for the latex doll in you.

A 15- part outfit from Kayliwulf, leaving you with little to no free attachments. *smiles*

First thing that you'll notice is the problem with getting the colors on prims to match the color on the cloth layer texture.

It works for the collar, cuffs and knot of the shirt, but sadly not on the boots, the skirt doesn't seem to have the same problem.

A skirt with a nice flexy prim edge and a no-modify cloth layer top, luckily a thong panty is included to cover things up.. a bit at least.

One of the great extras with this outfit is the rose quartz sticky latex catsuit that was used as the under layer for this outfit.

Though be aware this *is* a transparent catsuit, so it might show a bit more than you'll want to show *winks*

As usually the boots are scripted with a sexywalk AO and sound.

Now all i need is to find my beach house, cabrio and Ken and i'll be fine...

How I became Involved in Ponyplay

Some years ago, www.pupett.com featured Pupett in head to toe latex, complete with a bridle, hooves, and tail.

Seeing this picture had a profound effect on me.

I then did a search for ponygirls, and found the single most awesome ponygirl resource site, http://sirjeff.mirrors.bdsm.cz/index.html.

Having spent the next few weeks looking over the multitude of photos and reading the stories, I was hooked.

I began roleplaying in Yahoo chat, using emotes to portray myself as a ponygirl in tack.

On Sir Jeff's website I found pictures of a ponygirl in full tack, standing outside a stable, and on reading the caption under the pic, I learned it was taken in a "game" called Second Life.

Much later, I acquired a new pc and signed up for broadband Internet.

That same day, I had downloaded and installed Second Life, and was hell bent on discovering the pony scene in world.

After several largely uninteresting and lonely forays into the places listed for ponygirls, I went off on a tangent, and became part of a Victorian themed BDSM sim that just happened to have a ponygirl stable.

By this time, I had already spent a fair sum of linden dollars on pony tack, and on meeting with the Stable Mistress of Frilly Filly Farm, I was a signed up pony, and loving it.

During the quieter times, I got bored as a pony, and between roaming SL partaking in non pony related activities, (yes I do have a life outside of ponyplay) I also became a trainer at FFF.

And I am still there now, probably most often as a pony, or just wondering around in civilian clothes, but catch me in the right mood, and I will gladly take a ponies reins and help to train.

So that's my story, in brief, leaving out a lot of the really tedious, boring bits.

VENDOM - Succubus War Queen (red)

My friend Hikari Shirabyoshi is a power shopper. I mean, you think lelo and I know a few shops, she blows us out of the water without even trying.

Every now and then she'll IM me "Hey... do you know this store?", send me a landmark, and blow my mind.

Her specialty is freebies. And what we have here today, the VENDOM Succubus War Queen was indeed free.

In fact, it was on a Midnight Mania board, which I didn't even know about. Very cool system : if the set amount of residents click the board, they all get the item.

Best viral marketing I've seen in ages.

I called some friends over, spammed one of my groups... sure enough, at three minutes after midnight, the outfit was in my inventory - and lelo's, obviously ;)

Cool outfit, cool tail, cool store. Drop by with three hundred friends, sometime.

When you open the box and copy the contents into your inventory you'll find 27 items, must be one of the biggest boxes yet.

Most items are prims, but there is a LM, picture and some clothes there, though the clothes don't cover very much *winks*

The spikes look rather serious, and make me rather nervous, being a rubber doll at heart.

You get some options like the back flags and the horns, which you can use if you want.

There is even a shape include, but mine seems to come pretty close to the average succubus war queen. *smiles*

Still best thing with a get up like this, you'll always have plenty of room on the dance floor.

Squeaky Rubber - FruitLine MultiColor

Another cool and wet item from Squeaky, this is Fruitline Multicolor, shown here in pink and black.

There's a good variety of other color combos, with black on the outside (as shown here) or the color outside, plus a few with dark red instead of black - all quite lovely.

Visit the store and there's a little surprise near the landing zone : one of the colors (not saying which!) at nearly half-price ;)

The colored part in the middle of the catsuit makes you stand out in the crowd of mono colored catsuits.

The reflections on in the texture are in all the right places.

The water droplets on the catsuit are a fun feature, there is of course also a dry version of this catsuit.

Mesmerize Dungeon - Ballet Boots

If you like eyelets, you've got a heaping helping in the Mesmerize Dungeon Ballet Boots.

There's very good attention to detail : how often do you see belt loops to hold boot straps in place?

The foot shape is distinctive, and would probably be no fun at all in RL ;)

Loops, D-rings, laces, straps, buckles.. just a zipper missing and there would be more metal than leather making up these boots.

That's ok... silver and black goes with everything.

The look of these boots is quite good, i love the boxy toe box, the belts are very nicely done and i just love the little locks, that show when the boots are locked.

The option to color all the separate parts is great and easy to do with the menu.

But the thing that really makes these boots stand out is the included AO and the training/restriction options.

These boots have the best ballet boot walk AO i've ever seen, and the included poses are nice as well.

The fun starts when you put the boots on and you are asked to choose your training level, this is mandatory.

From that moment on you'll be spending quite some time on the floor, falling to it with a rather convincing thumb.

By the way, the walking and locking sounds are really good as well.

The restrictions you have will slowly get less and less when you get more training in the boots, rumor has it you might even stop falling down in them. *winks*

When you are finished with training, your owner can lock you into one of the restiction levels.

I won't go into the usual RLV and locking option, they are all provided, only thing i can say is when you are serious about ballet boots you must own these.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Heat Miser

Here's a little blast from the past from Kayliwulf : Heat Miser, one of the older and we think more popular outfits.

We wandered in to the store to do a bit of shopping... and ran into an old friend.

Yora Vig was modeling, as she often does, and she was kind enough to suggest this ensemble for tonight, as well as modeling it for us.

Regular readers will remember Yora's blog , which we should have mentioned much earlier. She's a little self-conscious about not posting often enough, so go over there and leave her a comment, ok? ;) She's a doll :)

The top is a little more modest than some later (nipple-baring) designs, so it's great for wearing around PG sims.

The clothing layer top has a rich, carmine red to complement the black. A cool little prim mini, some thigh boots, and you're ready to dance the night away.

Great use of the buckled corset, and you can never go wrong with a red and black combination.

The boots are of an older design and sadly that shows, still this is a great outfit you can even wear in a PG sim.

I love the way the top is done, it works great with the corset and gives the outfit a nice twist.

And the skirt, well i think you can never go wrong with a nice short flexy skirt like this.

So if you are looking for a nice PG latex outfit look no further, Heat Miser is the one you want.

Ponies and Restrained Life (RLV)

Should the Restrained Life Viewer (RLV) be used with ponies? This is quite a controversial subject, and not just in the pony circles.

Some argue a truly dedicated sub or pony, pet, etc, will not need RLV as they will abide by their restrictions, regardless.

I agree with this, but I feel the extra level of restriction adds to the pony experience, and the RLV functions can even make a scene more fluid.

So I would say that I am a fan of RLV, when used responsibly. In fact, I personally find it invaluable - not just as a pony, or a sub, but as a Domme too.

For example, ponies are generally fitted with a bit, and can't talk in open chat. RLV ensures the pony adheres to this.

And if you are enjoying a cart ride, and one of your friends drop in, why not render your pony deaf against the chat of humans? :)

RLV can also be used to prevent accidental flying when jumping over steeple gates, something I happen to do with annoying frequency.

I use the RLV to rez a cart when someone touches the tail of my pony tack. When the cart has rezzed, I am force-sat to it.

This enables me to remain blindfolded, or in mouselook, or with a HUD in place to prevent any touching, yet still "sit" at a cart to pull it.

I also added my pony tack to the Restrained Life shared folder, which can be accessed by a trainer. This allows them to select which tack to put me in.

What better way to change from human to pony is there than to have someone put your tack on you?

This can also make choosing a different set of hooves or a different tail something the owner or trainer no longer has to rely on the pony to get right.

One word of advice : have at least one trusted person to help a RLV restrained pony in case of emergency when the owner is absent.

That way an owner doesn't come back to find the barn door open and the pony gone ;)

The texture is a nicely fitted picture of a real corset, makes for some great buckles on the front and some nice lace on the back.

Sadly the cups are a bit plain, which lets the corset a bit down, but still the quality of the buckles is amazing, best i've seen yet.

Bhadra's Fetish Shoes and Toys - Non Stop Chastity Belt Set

A good-looking chastity belt and a bunch of cool accessories, this is the "Non Stop Chastity Belt Set" from Bhadra.

The belt has a nice metal finish, the little locks look quite authentic. The black leather part of the crotch strap tends to fade against a black outfit, so we have lelo in red for contrast.

The bra looks good, if perhaps a touch plain. The thigh cuffs look very good, like leather reinforced by an external metal strip.

This is kit that looks no-nonsense, as chastity wear should.

The belt is the main part, and control center, the bra and the thigh cuffs are inexpensive add on's, which are sold separately.

The belt is easy to fit, as are the thigh cuffs, the bra takes a bit more work when you are well endowed like me.

The system is controlled with the belt, you have to enter your owner, prefix and channel in a note-card in the belt itself.

All other options, and there are many, work with a good menu system, which has two levels, the first are the play options and the second (settings) contains the less used options.

The play options include: metal or rubber pump up plugs, some nasty clamps and the pussy controls, a pussy that is included in the set and shows when you hide the belt.

The play options will keep you busy for days if not weeks or months, the sounds are great and the chat massages, which you can turn off, are quite embarrassing at times, in case some of you enjoy something like that. *winks*

I don't think i've said this in a while, but this is a must have toy... *smiles*

131 pages in issue four of Femdom Magazine... it's good to see they're not running out of topics ;)
