Hugo's Design - Soli

Introducing Soli, the latest release from Hugo’s Design.

It’s a tiny little thing, more suited to the bedroom than the ballroom.

As with all Hugo’s outfits, it has a lot of variety, including two pairs of gloves (matching color and black) and two pairs of stockings (same deal).

Having recently hit an outfit that was jacket layer only (means I can’t wear my cool Cipher jacket with it), I appreciate seeing the extra effort here.

I even wore my hair up (see what we do for you guys?) to show you the cool riveted buckles in back.

In short, a lovely little outfit that your partner will certainly enjoy seeing you in.

On the upside the outfits show more and more skin, which isn’t a bad for most.

Thankfully he added a pair of pasties to the set for a little bit of modesty.

As usual with Hugo’s all the layers are included so you can mix and match, and with this one he even included the set in tattoo layer.

You get the extremely sexy body in an open and closed version, believe it or not this is the closed version.

As Mistress would say bedroom wear, but hey you might be more brave than the two of us.

XTC Leather - Taurus and Sagittarius

Deirdre:
Another double release from XTC, I’m wearing Taurus and lelo is rocking the bike chick look in Sagittarius.

Taurus comes in a miniskirt version, but long pants are also included. Two pairs of gloves (one fingerless) and a cool horned heart tattoo complete the look.

The front has twin lacing details and the usual excellent leather texture we’ve come to expect from XTC.

A fun outfit for clubbing or spanking ;)

Another milestone for our little blog : Friday’s post was number 500 ! With the nice catsuit, an outfit on its own for some, you get a good looking sleeveless jacket and miniskirt, both in lovely leather.

I just love the way Xaviar uses a prim to hide the awful clothlayer skirts.

As usual the boots and cuffs are an optional extra and not in the set, the fingerless gloves are include.

Nice little sexy rock chick summer outfit so get them while the weather is still good.

Gothic Pony

I was asked what tack I would use to arrange for a pony, suitable for a gothic owner.

After some consideration, I decided on what I felt to be a rather suitable arrangement and thought I would share this with you all.

The skin is from Apex, and is the Rihanna Skin 1 variation. which is found in the KC Fashions Main-store

Hair is Solaire style in black from SW - The store name is So What, however the landmark I have is now out of date, some hunting has thus far not provided me with a location.

Harness is the Morbid Play bikini harness, with red leather texture used, as are the hooves and bridle set.

The tail is from Mesmerize Dungeon.

This is the set I would use for a gothic ponygirl if it was me choosing, though obviously, tastes may vary.

Anyway, I hope you like the gothic pony arrangement, and if you have any other ideas for a "pony style" let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

Sinh - DingDing BlackRed

Sinh is a huge fetish store, which we’re featuring for the first time. This fun outfit is called DingDing (that’s a line of outfits) BlackRed.

Sinh is also the first store we’ve seen that gives a 20% discount to its group members. On a 400L$ outfit, that’s 80L$... it adds up fast if you buy a few outfits.

There are many models in the main store, showing off the outfits and answering questions from nosy bloggers ;)

Lelo is wearing the outfit of the week here, which was half off from the normal price. That makes visiting the store regularly a good idea.

I have to say a word about the little SM-Bear : it’s an adorable little shoulder bear (you also get a large version) that serves as a landmark-giver if you love the store and want to promote it.

When you rezz the box you get from Sinh, you really get a present, pretty packing paper and lacy bow included.

In the box you’ll find 23 items, not including the notes, LM’s and picture.

You get two outfits, the dress as shown in the first and the suit as shown in the second.

And amazingly, a pair of nice stiletto’s and a pair of boots, how’s that for value for money.

Next to the smoky latex catsuit and dress you get a good looking corset, red gloves and black underwear making the outfit pg’ísh

Also you’ll get a fun prim collar, belt, whip and funky mask, all no mod but with a good resize script in them.

All in all a good addition to each fetish wardrobe, ooh and it’s outfit of the week so better hurry to get it at 50% off..

She Wants Revenge - Won’t Want For Love

Deirdre:
This fun leather and lace outfit is called “Won’t Want For Love”, and it’s by She Wants Revenge.

I agree that you’re going to get all sorts of attention if you wear this on the street ;)

This is an extremely inexpensive piece, at 150L$. The work is quite good, and the design is original.

If I had one suggestion for the designer, it would be to bundle in more layers and make the whole thing no transfer, instead of no copy no mod.

You get the two tops shown here, and one pair of pants. The gloves shown on the vendor pic weren’t in my box, so they may be from another kit.

The tops are both jacket layer only, which means it’s nearly impossible to wear anything else with this outfit.

In conclusion : a good, inexpensive outfit, which could be great with a few small tweaks.

But this weekend we spotted a She Wants Revenge vendor on Latexia and Mistress just had to get this little number.

Think Kink - Y Me?

Deirdre:
A fun bondage cross from Think Kink, this one is called “Y Me?”

This is a very cool toy. The padded cushions look pretty authentic for dungeon furniture.

The shape is interesting and original - looks authentic as heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was inspired by RL furniture like Lisa’s Delight II, which we covered a while back.

As lelo is a pretty tall girl, the cross didn’t look perfect for her out of the bag, but it is resizeable, (manually, no menu) so we were able to remedy the situation, and now it fits her perfectly.

By the way, if you want to see how these toys look like in use, drop by the Think Kink store, they have them all set up for use - you may just have to push off a model ;)

Another fun toy for some good RPing by Think Kink.

As with the last piece of furniture we reviewed, it is fully RLV compatible and offers a fun capture feature.

Again you get a pair of free Lulu cuffs, but this time there is also a whip and a RLV relay included, better beware when you play around with that relay. *winks*

The control of the toy can be set to a group or a list of keyholders, though the moment you are locked into the device you don’t have any control of it.

The Y Me? has another great option that all bondage furniture should have, it can be adjusted to fit the decor of your dungeon, there are 8 wood types and 9 colors for the pads you can select.

So a fun toy that won’t clash with your dungeon, and when set to autograb, you never know what you might catch in it. *smiles*

Cheys Spicy Outfits - Twanni

A lovely latex multi-part outfit from Chey’s Spicy Outfits, this is Twanni.

It’s an eleven-piece outfit that is made for mixing and matching.

The catsuit is underwear layer, but I’ll tell you, even if you don’t wear it, you’ll be far from naked :)

Excellent latex reflections, rich color, terrific details - yet again, how did we miss this shop?

Cheyenne started designing nylons towards the end of 2007, and gradually moved to latex.

I’m sure that if you ask her, she should be able to give you some good pantyhose even today ;)

Chey’s is a one-person operation, which may explain why she’s less in the limelight than some other stores - still, she managed to make the Dark Refuge latex event, so she’s not a recluse or anything.

The price is very reasonable for the amount of different outfit combinations you get in this box.

Visit her cool store and have a look, you won’t regret it.

On one of our weekend shopping sprees, we found Chey’s vendor at Latexia, did we ever tell you this blogging is hard work? *winks*

The bright blue caught our eye between all the black latex you usually see at Latexia.

We followed the sign to the main store on Greater Farnley, and lets just say wow, this is a store you just must see.

At the store we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the clothing on the vendors and the fact that when we called Cheyenne she made time and joined us in her store.

The one amazing thing we only found out after taking a second look was the fact that she doesn’t make copies of one outfit in 10 colors, but that she gives each color a different twist on the same theme.

Pony Places: Morbid Play

If you still have not been here, and are looking for tack, either new or as an upgrade, then where have you been?

For a long time, there were really only 2 scripted bridles that most pony stables recommended, CCP and KDC.

And a few short years ago, along came the Morbid Play brand, which very quickly established itself as the bridle of choice for many.

And building on the success of the bridle, along came hooves, tails, harnesses. All prim, and many of them scripted too.

The textures are all original, and look great.

You can't help but admire the attention to details that has gone into some of the prim work.

My only gripe is that you might struggle to get some items to fit perfectly, because most of them are prim based.

Be very careful when modifying your items to fit, as they are not copyable.

That said, patience and some prim tweaking will have the pony looking wonderful in her new tack, and the bridle is very cleverly scripted.

Keep in mind that the high prim count might affect performance as a pony in race or timed events.

One of the starter pony kits, which includes the fantastic Evo pony bridle, a chain and leather strap prim harness, the strap hoof set which includes AO and sound HUD and an interactive tail will cost about L$2608 at the time of writing.

It might not be cheap but the amount of work gone into the prims alone makes this understandable, and is worth it if you are serious about your tack.

Gos - DARE Bootie

Deirdre:
A gorgeous pair of peep-toe booties from Gospel Voom, these are called DARE, and are inspired by Alexander McQueen’s Faithful bootie.

While this is not exactly a new item (it’s been at Gos’s gorgeous store for a while), there are a few good things about it : first, it’s a new and improved version, including a v2 alpha sock, and second, the price has come down by nearly a third.

I absolutely love the look of them, like a little fold-down perfecto leather jacket for your feet.

The detail on the back of the heel is awesome, and the texture reflections are incredible. No cartoony black on black here : the word is realism.

Explore the menu, there are more good things in there than in most RLV toys.

2011-06-01 - Deirdre here. We had an unpleasant surprise last night. Pet tipped us to a new Gos design, we went to see, and found out lelo and I are now banned from Gos for lelo’s rating of 7 on service. I called Gospel, and he was pretty snarky about the whole thing. Well, you know what? I’m adding this note to let everyone looking up Gospel Voom know that you can’t browbeat higher ratings out of my sweetie, and I fully support her opinion. And I’m giving Gospel Voom a zero for service. That’s right, the first and probably only one in this blog. He is now also boycotted by Pet, who brings *big* spenders to stores, and he will not get a review again in this blog if he mails me cash in RL. End of drama ;)

The boots have a simple menu in them that lets you control the size of the boots, with one of the best resizing scripts we have seen yet.

You also get to change the texture of leather on the boots, the color of the sole and zipper.

Under extras you get a lot of options, including a HUD giver and an option to close the front of the boots, hiding the toes.

The HUD gives you the options for the skin tone and the nail polish.

Ok, so they aren’t ballets, they don’t lock or have have numerous belts, still they are pretty funky looking ankle boots.

MSM Restraints - Fiddle

A neat bondage toy to add to lelo’s toy chest, this is MSM Restraint’s Fiddle.

I peeked at the entry on XStreet, and the fiddle wearer is referred to as the “victim”, which I thought was cute. “Poor lelo is the victim of Deirdre’s cruelty again” ;)

The fiddle is a faithful reproduction of the RigidCuff fiddle in RL, an aluminum bondage device with the hefty price tag of 650 Euros. Aren’t you glad you can buy it in Second Life ?

Another fun toy tonight and something we haven’t had yet, a fiddle, but don’t expect any music from me.

The fiddle is a simple looking device, two little locks appear when locked.

The length of arm is easily adjusted to fit the length of your arms.

As is to be expected the is RLV compatible and all of the usual RLV features are available.

Access to the fiddle can be set to: the keyholder, a group or everyone.

A fun new feature on this fiddle is the cam restriction, which can be set for 4, 8 or 12 meters. When you go past this range with your cam your view goes all grey. Great way to get some privacy from your sub.

Finally you have a timer and leash function, so more than enough options to play with.

I found one big plus with the fiddle compared to the usual yokes, this way i can walk through doorways.. *winks*

Hugo's Design - Nisa

Another new release from Hugo’s Design - if Erik was away resting, it did him a lot of good!

This new outfit is called Nisa, and was released just last week.

It is an intricate combination of straps and rivets and rings and belts and buckles and things ;)

The crotch strap doesn’t cover much, hence our usual little self-censorship hearts.

As usual with Hugo’s, the rivets and rings and buckles are quite realistic despite no prim parts to the outfit.

You know how I’m always telling you to mix and match? Well this outfit has so many parts that you don’t need to.

So you have a complete, if skimpy, outfit here. Add footwear and you’re there!

15 items, not counting the LM and nice thank you note.

Next to the color matched stockings and gloves you’ll find an extra pair of black gloves.

The real choice, apart from the color, is if you want to wear the outfit opened (aka adult) or closed (almost PG, hmm lets call it mature). *winks*

The mixers and matcher's will love the fact that most items are in all available layers, including the new V2 tattoo layer.

Latex Fashion Week at Dark Refuge

Latexiana Valeska, the designer at LaVa we covered last June, is holding a week-long latex fashion event at club Dark Refuge.

The club is pretty goth, a little fetish, yet vanilla-friendly. (I don’t know how well that works, but hey, they didn’t ask my advice.)

Pony Places: KDC Store

What self-respecting pony play feature and fetish blog could go without mentioning KDC?

Kyrah Design Concept has been making latex and fetish wear in SL since 2004!

I would be lying if I didn't confess to having quite a few KDC items in my own inventory.

On visiting the store, you will find a pretty impressive selection, ranging from full hooded latex catsuits, to arm binders, gags and strait jackets.

But we are mostly interested in pony tack!

And yes, there is certainly an impressive selection to choose from there.

First is the bridle: a start kit which includes a bit or a head harness with blindfold.

Then a number of separate bits to choose from to supplement your bridle.

Whilst the KDC range is now a little dated, my favorite feature is that you can add separately available blinker hud sets.

Attach the mesh blinker kit, and the pony sees through a thin mesh eye screen, perfect to keep the flies or grit and dust out of the pony's eyes while running track.

Or the racing blinker kit which gives the pony only a narrow view straight ahead.

Or carriage blinkers which afford a slightly wider field of vision for the pony, but ensure the pony is paying attention only to where she is going.

And then you have the difficult task of choosing hooves.

You will also find show pony cuffs, which keep forearms held up by clipping the cuffs to cuffs on the biceps.

Immerschoen - Sharon and Noxia

Another Immerschoen set tonight : I’m wearing the Sharon leather catsuit, and lelo has the Noxia skirt and top.

We featured Immerschoen recently, but the outfits are leather this time, not latex - I’m glad to show how versatile they are.

Sharon is a rock chick outfit, and looks quite good for an all-clothes-layer outfit. You know how I love my prim accents, but this outfit does quite well giving a 3D effect with just folds, seams and reflections.

I like the chains and zip in front and laces in back. They’re great accents and are visible from a good distance.

You get included in the box a “Tribal Skull Hearts” tattoo in all three top layers (it goes above the left breast) and in v2 tatto layer included. It’s Nici’s work, and quite nice even for a non-inked bike chick like yours truly ;)

I’m wearing the Noxia leather skirt, well that’s what they tell you on the box.

But once you open the box you find much more, 17 items not counting the free pose stand, the LM and a note card stating all the items used in the vendor picture.

All cloth layers are included so you can mix and match these with your favorite items.

The corseted body has some great details and a very good leather look.

You can wear the skirt, which has a prim panel to hide the ugly SL cloth skirt crotch, or make the top into a very sexy body.

Next to the body and skirt you’ll find a pair of long fingerless gloves and pair of funky nylon leggings.

An added bonus is a fun gecko tattoo, again offered in all cloth layers, so you can use it to make an boring old shirt look all new.

The dress is trans so it makes a great present for a loved one. *smiles*

MoDesign - NoToy female Chastity Belt

Deirdre:
A nice new bit of metal for lelo to wear over her latex, this is MoDesign’s NoToy chastity belt.

(By the way, lelo’s wearing her usual Amethyst wrist and arm cuffs, and matched the chastity belt to the rest of her metal.)

This is a strict-looking device, with thick, angular metal plates telling the world : don’t touch!

Good thing lelo doesn’t play up the sympathy bit when I cover her in restraints ;)

Time to check out a new chastity belt, nothing wrong with my good old odium, but you need to keep an open mind.

At MoDesign they have a nice collection of belts and this one directly caught my eye.

Especially the look of the mesh behind the cage is very well done.

The design is by Siku Shan, her logo is on the front of the belt and the scripting is by Mo Noel.

This is the second time we see a cooperation like this, great lets hope it’s starting a trend.

The belt offer loads of options and the menu takes a little time to get uses to, still the lock command is on the first menu so nothing wrong there. *winks*

The belt is fully RLV compatible but also offers a classic control mode.

The belt uses the MoLock sync owner system, so the belt syncs with other MoLock compatible toys, like the added thigh belts.

The belt is Xcite and Sensations compatible so it’s a “real” chastity, no playing around.

Final fun item is the optional bell, but please keep the volume down. *smiles*

Hugo's Design - Cat Hood for Viewer 2

A new release from Hugo’s (well, last week, but we had committed to other items), this is the Cat hood for viewer 2.

It’s a tattoo layer, which is terrific for keeping your own skin despite the mask, the usual trouble with hoods.

The cat hoods were already in Hugo’s line, this is a re-release for v2.

They’re available in white, black, baby pink, hard pink, red and purple.

I just had to see lelo in the red, and of course it takes a pry-bar to get her out of her beloved Wardooms.

This is a good-looking hood, with an interesting shadow effect around the eyes and mouth.

Yes you read it right another trip into our beloved Viewer 2.

And i must say it’s great to have a hood work like a hood should, stick to your skin but not change it.

In the lovely little bag you find 3 skin tattoo’s and 4 prims.

The prims consist of 3 cat ears attached to 3 different places, so they won’t take the place of other prim items like hair or collars, very considerate, just don’t click on the wear all button or you’ll be a 6 eared kitty. *winks*

The other prim is a very twitchy color matched tail.

The tattoo’s offer you just the hood, the full catsuit with hood and a seamed version of the catsuit with hood.

Kayliwulf Kingdom - Bunny Club

Bunnies must be busty.. it’s tradition ;)

This is one of Kayliwulf’s classic outfits, Bunny Suit (violet), featuring the new implant applicator over eCorp’s eBoobs.

The latex texture looks very good, and for the moment you can use the skin-matching systems (we ran eCorp’s experimental new hud and got some fair results).

No doubt Laz will make the Kayliwulf skins available with the implants soon; lelo’s skin is from Kayliwulf, for example, and it would sure be nice to just choose the matching one.

This is a fun project, and everyone worked hard and really cooperated to bring you nice, shiny latex boobs.. hope you enjoy them!

After last weeks introduction of the Kayliwulfs kingdoms Universal Implant Applicator and showed you the fully covered Implant Nations.

This week we show you the bra version with the eBoobs by eCorp!.

Both boobs look good and i guess we have to do a side by side compare one of these days, if we can fit them both in one picture. *winks*

One little down side to all these applicators, you have to watch out where they attach to, lost my collar and wedding ring in the process.

The bunny suit is an oldie but goodie, brought back to life with the help of the boobs.

The bow tie and tail are to die for and the cut of the top is very sexy.

Pony Places: Pony Pony Store

If you ever find yourself unsure as to what cart to get, or looking for some pony accessory, you could definitely do with a visit to Pony Pony : the store so good they named it twice!

Lots of accessories, addons, enhancements for your pony play to choose from, and at a price that doesn't result in you having to sell your soul to the devil to get it.

Items in store range from a cowbell for those that prefer cowgirls to ponygirls, through the array of collars, cuffs and tails, to tails and sunglasses and lots in between.

The biggest attraction through for me, is the variety of pony carts.

From a simple sulky, to a sleigh, chariot to off-road buggies and carriages. But that is not all the options.

Do you want the cart to be pulled by one pony, or 2? Is there just a driver, or a passenger too?

You might find it hard to settle on just one cart. I spent a few days deliberating on which cart to get, and still have not managed to decide.

But you also have a pony shed, a full size barn and even a nursing hay-bale (you simply have to see it to appreciate that one).

Also in store is an assortment of bondage frames, St Andrews crosses, gallows and yes, even virtual bubble wrap! (Don't ask.)

So, if you have not yet found this store, go check it out. I'll bet you find something you could find a use for while there.

Badkatz - Wet Chocolate One-Piece Swimsuit

Yummy is the first designer I ever met in SL, lo those many years ago.. and it was good to drop by her store again and chat a bit.

This awesome one-piece swimsuit caught my eye in the “New” vendor, and as Yummy always called her leather pieces “chocolate”.. well, it does look pretty lickable, doesn’t it? ;)

A pair of big Versace-style shades to complement it and I’m ready for Saint-Tropez (Eagle-eyed readers will recognize the Elixir Albedo sunglasses).

As usual, the price was excellent. Badkatz doesn’t do only leather/fetish, so if you want elegant and inexpensive clothing, do drop by.

It was time to visit another old friend, we hadn’t featured in a while.

As was to be expected the store was rebuilt, and Yummy assured us she would be remodeling pretty soon...again.

Looking at the “new” vendor Mistress instantly fell in love with this swimsuit.

I’m sure we’re in for some beach time pretty soon, though not sure if the leather will like that. *winks*

Ohh and don’t forget to check out her midnight mania, she has some great clothes in it.

Addictions - Mistress Red

We hadn’t been by the Addictions shop in nearly a year - you may recall the “Dangerous” outfit, and the cool video featuring it.

So we dropped by and I decided to give lelo something that doesn’t involve a hood and a big gag forced into her mouth... you know, for once.

So this is the “Mistress” outfit by Addictions, in red. There are also versions in white, green, and purple.

Addictions has always been extremely affordable - we should have more inexpensive addictions! - and now, Marijane has decided to make the older models in her line a flat 100L$.

While I’ve said before that we love a scoop or a new release, a good inexpensive fetish outfit is a lot better than a poor freebie. So if you’re on a budget, drop by Addictions and go nuts ;)

A simple looking outfit at first but with 5 prim parts there is more to this one than you might imagine.

The body has good lines and manages to keep everything in...barely.

The coat tail works very nicely and comes with some very good resizing instructions.

The boots show the age of the outfit, but they look better than the 100ls you pay for the entire ensemble.

Not quite sure about the silk stockings, but then i guest most of you will have a few nice latex stockings somewhere in your wardrobe.

Finally the sleeves, you might miss them at first glance and that makes them so good..

Psst.. anyone notice my new hair... thank you Mistress *smiles*

Cold Embrace - Harness Inflatable Gag

We received a recommendation by one of our readers - I just love that! - to go visit a little bondage gear store called Cold Embrace.

When we had a look, we found some good-looking toys and decided they were definitely worth sharing.

The one that jumped out at lelo was this one, the Harness Inflatable Gag. As Nikala says, it (and others) are based on real-life designs, of the type I love on my sweetie, I hasten to add.

We’re told there are improvements coming (and sometimes designers need nothing so much as a little shove in the back to get to it) so as soon as a new release comes out, we’ll let you know.

Ok, so i’m a bondage bunny, i just love gags like this.

The look of this one is very good, i love the little details like the stitching and the rivets on the belts.

Also the locks on the back of the harness and the way they work is a piece of art.

But as with most of these toys looks are just half the story, the scripting is the part that makes them interesting.

The menu is straight forward and easy to understand, the one thing i really love about this one is the fact that you don’t need to use channels to mumble, the gag works like it should.

As expected the gag has all the RLV options you would want, next to the drooling option and the possibility to change the color and texture of the gag.

Resizing the gag takes some work and be aware the gag is no copy so be very careful you don’t ruin your lovely gag.

The lock pick option is something to keep you busy while locked in a cell. *winks*.

A gorgeous new outfit from Graves, this is Resistance, and nobody does the spy theme better.

I’m only wearing 14 of the 27 parts of this outfit. Some are layers, but it is in fact quite intricate.

The barcode tattoo just isn’t me, and the optional dress part looks like slave silks to me.. and we all know that's not Aeon’s style.

That’s right, this outfit is a very, very good homage to Aeon Flux.

On one of our usual shopping trips we had a look if Jackie had come up with something new.

And ones again she didn’t disappoint us, Resistance immediately caught our eye.

The quote from Aeon Flux Mistress knew by heart so i guess she’s a bit of a fan, knowing her probably from the original cartoon.

Only downside is the lack of shoes with this one, but then i guess she only wore wedged shoes in the film, still hard to find those in SL.

All in all a very sexy outfit and spot on, so get out your black wig and RESIST... *winks*
